Trey

He most likely knows Rusen not long after he encountered little Riddle when they were kids. Riddle and Rusen are inseparable even currently, it becomes pretty normal to see the other twin around as time passes.

He honestly appreciates a lot the company Rusen offers, who often tends to walk around the dorm and often bumps into Trey at the kitchen. Ending up asking if he can help the 3rd year with the baking duty, cleaning the kitchen and utensils, preparing the table- Trey finds Rusen a “good boy”, who deserves some headpats <333

There is always this cute silly dynamic between them, they were not so talkative when they were little at first because they were kinda just “friends by association” and the one who brings the bridge to the reason why they hang out together was Riddle- but aftermath and today, they started to get closer and gotten to know each other. Sharing the common fact that they have this unconditional love and care towards Riddle, who is like a brother to them.

Rusen honestly knows how to bake more than cooking,,, so the soup he once made for Trey didn’t turned out as he planned/lh yet Trey still ate it and complimented it, giving some fair feedback with a smile that brightens Rusen’s motivation to improve 🥺😭

Rusen has the habit of ruffling Trey’s hair whenever he gets flour on it- Trey finds it pretty cute that someone so short likes to look after him too;;; Imagine Riddle’s lab coat card, like the twins probably tries to look after Trey who was having a fever at that time- it was pretty problematic but the 3rd year still appreciated their effort djdjjddj

Cater

Not gonna lie, he didn’t expect Riddle to have a twin- one that kinda acts like his shadow.

It was a bit fascinating how he didn’t get to learn that sooner until the curtains slide open, revealing Rusen who happened to stand beside Riddle’s throne this whole time by the time it was the second meeting at the dorm.

At first, the moment he realizes Rusen is a bit different from his brother made him want to bully him a little;;; but well, he wasn’t that foolish especially when Rusen is often seen sticking around with the housewarden who happened to be his brother- even Rusen proved himself that he’s capable to get someone to respect him, even if it’s by force after being so kind… 😇

At the end, Cater wouldn’t dare to press the other’s buttons. Instead, he’s quite glad Rusen is more open when it comes to learning the art of media.

“Spreading awareness and popularity of Heartslabyul? That sounds spectacular. Maybe it might help with funding the dorm for certain necessities-“ Rusen once comment and so on, Cater just being happy hearing him say such thoughtful things. Knowing how dedicated the red-headed is to give the Heartslabyul students everything they need. As if he’s acting like a caring little brother,,,

I like to imagine there is this silly realization thought Cater ever has, which is Rusen ever be acting as mean as Riddle. He would whine so much by the thought of it that he would even grab the poor strawberry shorty and shake him, begging him to “never change his precious heart” DJDJJDDNJEJJ-

Ace

I feel like ADeuce views Rusen as a “monk” or some kind of saint- he’s the forgiving twin unlike Riddle. Sometimes lenient, while still keeping the one-braincell duo on their toes before they do something that makes Riddle get steamy.;;;

Despite facing the same strict treatment and discipline, Rusen is the daring one out of the two twins. Bending rules and making some mischief in his younger days and successfully hiding evidence before ever being suspected… He smoothly even covers Ace’s mess at certain times if he finds that necessary too, that even Trey and Riddle would buy it! Ace, after learning this, started to then view him as the “sly senior”…

Bro, for someone who is like a taller but younger brother to Rusen, there are times Ace wants to make fun of him- if only Riddle wasn’t often around to see that;;

But besides that, Rusen often forgives whenever he causes mistakes, sometimes pointing out the problems he does that he probably didn’t notice. His patience probably confused the 1st year so much;;; but slowly and surely, Ace started to understand and listens to his advice. Sometimes would come to him if he has any questions to the 2nd year twin.

Deuce

Deuce is on his knees,,, he was so confused and embarrassed the time he mistaken Rusen as Riddle- How could it get any worse???

Gets so shy after first meeting him- like he probably doubts Rusen likes to talk to him after mistaking him with another person like- it was so awfulll- but no, Rusen still smiles at him and asks him if he wants tea. What??? REALLY??? 😭🥺

Goes sad puppy whenever he gets scolded by Rusen, even if it’s gently and not meaning to degrade him- Seeing Rusen displeased makes him feel so guilty,,,

But well- now he’s crying just because Rusen was so patient to help him out with studying for a test without getting mad for failing the previous tests- this is not on his bingo list but omg;;;

Rusen-senpai has the heart of a saint <//3

Deuce deeply respects Rusen as much as he wants to devote to the dorm and the housewarden- he would even take a hit for him!!! He often feels like he owes him a lot, when in reality Rusen doesn’t have the heart to bonk people and confiscating their UM tbh;;;

never gonna be over this album. its top tier shit and i love it so much. the amount of EFFORT that was put into all this both in the album (THE MUSIC AND STORY HOLY SHIT!!!) and the outside stuff (products of the universe and a whole ass movie. never gonna be over the fact they made a whole ass movie. who does that) is just. insane. fucking insane i love it

2. Strange Trails by Lord Huron

Just barely under Vide Noir in my heart but god. god what an album. love me an anthology and an album that experiments a lot with different styles. its a no skip album and you're rewarded for not skipping with those fucking TRANSITIONS!!!! what a kick off to the main universe. listen to it on vinyl if you have the chance its an experience

3. Coyote Stories by The Crane Wives

i love folk so so much. i started to appreciate this one a lot more after listening to it on vinyl like. agh. i love it here. listen to the hand that feeds

BOREAS MY DEAR FRIEND BOREAS. the four seasons/winds albums are so so good with the cycle of death and rebirth and continuation of life. Boreas is the winter album and it focuses heavy on themes of depression and feeling cold but enduring anyway. the album of all time

Got a soft spot for this one in particular due to some memories in high school. its also just a great album in general but im always gonna be biased in its favor. mania my beloved

listened to Howling at Wolves 1 (one) time and got addicted. not usually my type of jam (i like pop but im not crazy about it usually) but i really like this vibe. theres a lot of LH inpso here (both in terms of the style and the lore) as well as a lot of older 60s songs (i like hes got a playlist or two for his characters that have a ton of older music on it). cannot stand until i found you but its worth it for the rest of the album. also going to see him live in august :)

I- Ok, I always hoped for attention on RPG3, but I never thought I'd get here. 200 followers.. Notes on posts getting higher (mostly on non-comic posts smh /lh)

RPG3 is something I've wanted to for so long. For those who were there for the story pre-boot, it. Well it sucked. It was just me really wanting to put these three in a story together where they were friends- But with the pre-boot, I skipped this story completely and had it take place AFTER the underground adventure. Honestly? Big mistake, big loss on things I could have done-

Rebooting the idea and starting this blog was a great thing for me. I am having an INCREDIBLE time putting so much lore and effort into something of such a silly concept.

I'll always be thankful for the goofy ask box nonsense and the people really invested in this story.

I'm so incredibly thankful for all of you and for enjoying this dumb story and I promise you it's going to get pretty epic as it goes on.

My art isn't perfect and I'm trying my best as a teenager who's still going through school and dealing with god-awful anxiety. I'm going to have moments where I fall in and out of motivation to work on this. But this story WILL finish. I have so many plans and I need to show them to you all.

I've always wanted to be an author/storyteller in one way or another. Despite this not being an original project and instead a crossover story, this is still a fun start for me. While not a regular kind of comic, this is has been incredible fun.

Everyone who follows me and enjoys this content that I didn't think would get me far means the world to me and I'm so thankful for all of you.

I just don't know how to express who HAPPY and grateful I am to have gotten this far!! I know it's just a number but it's a number of how many people are following my project. I know 200 isn't that big a crowd compared to everything else ever but it's SOMETHING. And the steadily increasing pace of new followers is crazy.

Also like UGH i’ve been taking better care of my teeth- but had to get a real bad cavity filled today. And that numbing stuff??? Wasn’t working. So, of course, now- about 45 minutes later- it’s finally kicking in lol,,,,,,, can’t feel half of my face;; i already have a slight lisp;;;;;; and i’m hungry;;;;;;; i’m just;;; not having it this week, guys, i’m simply not-

You sighed, finally regulating your breathing, feeling the throbbing of your head from having to calm yourself down so often lately. You couldn’t help but recall the pinch from the dentists, one that you felt despite the attempt to numb your gums in the place they would inject you. Which was worse, the pain in your mouth, or how you pinched your arm? The way the room seemed to get uncomfortably warm so quickly- and the way you wanted to cry when the doctor announced that he’d have to do it once more. And once again after that.

Carefully, you took a bite of a snack you had packed, quickly placing it back at the mix of a pain and a lack of a flavor. While you expected to taste nothing on the numb side, the pain was… unwelcome, to say the least. Strange, you thought, that the bottom of your ear was numb, and yet… the area in which the shots had been injected were sore. At this point, you weren’t even sure you wanted to eat. Thinking too much about the… excitements of tomorrow was enough to kill your appetite. Recalling the events of today, imaging having to wait so long in a doctor’s office, the feeling of the nurse rubbing the alcohol pad against your arm… tears filled your eyes, as you shook your head, forcing the thoughts from your mind. You wished that you could have gone home. You wanted to cry- but there was no use in crying at school, unless you wanted too many different eyes on you.

“(Y/N)! You’re back?? For… study hall?” Kou questioned, sitting next to you. You shrugged- “Yeah. My parents wanted me to come back for clubs and whatnot.”

“I see… then, how did it go?”

“Seeing as you heard me try to pronounce ‘parents’ you may have a good idea, haha…”

“Right, right…” Kou muttered, fiddling with his hands slightly. You knew he could tell you were in a poor mood, and that you were like that before the dentist appointment. You were beyond thankful for his kindness, knowing that he was sitting there, trying to figure out how to approach your mood.

“So, (Y/N), are you feeling… better?” He asked, glancing back over at you, and offering a slight smile.

“Mmh… well, my mouth hurts, and I’m starving… and I can’t talk properly. Still, I think I’d have a numb mouth any day over tomorrow- I’ve got to get my shots, and I’m… hm, terrified.”

“Ah? Of shots?”

“Needles.”

“Ah… well, it’s alright!” He cheered, and you stopped yourself from getting defensive, knowing he was about to give you the same lesson everyone else did. “It’s a little pinch, and then it’s over! Super quick, I promise!”

“I-” You stopped yourself, taking in a deep breath as your voice already began to shake, “I know, Kou.”

Kou paused, tensing up a bit, scared that he had possibly hit a nerve. “Thank you, for trying, just… it’s kinda more than that, you know? Like… I know getting the shot is much better than getting any sort of illness. I know it’s just a tiny pinch, and that it’s over quickly… but, for some reason, it’s just… scary, haha.”

Kou nodded, pondering for a moment as the bell rang. The remaining students in the room got up and left, leaving you sitting alone with Kou. “Do you have any numbing cream you could put on your arm? I’ll buy some, if you want!”

“Kou, you’re too kind to me-”

“You’re kind to me, (Y/N)! I’m serious. I’ve got some money, it can’t be that pricey! You can put that on, and hmm… ask the doctor if you can put in your earbuds? Play some music, or watch a video? And, uh! Focus on something else!! Call me, if you want?? If you can-?”

You nodded, smiling slightly at the effort Kou was putting into this. “Thanks so much, Kou… I’ll do that- but I can buy the stuff, so don’t worry. I’ve got that, and I’ve been working on keeping my breathing normal… I can’t promise I won’t cry, but I think I’m doing all I can to not have the pain.”

“Yesyes!! You’ve got this, (Y/N)! You’ve definitely got this! I’ll pack your lunch, alright? For the rest of the week!”

“Kou, you’re treating me like I’m a toddler-”

“Trust me, I’ve dealt with Tiara- there’s a huuuuge difference. Mainly… comforting Teru- but that’s not important! Honestly, the whole reward method works just fine for any age- plus, I’m allowed to spoil my partner, even if you don’t face a fear.”

Nodding, you stood up, attempting to appear more confident than you felt. “Thank you, sweetheart. I’m still… terrified, but I’m glad to have someone cheering me on, haha…”

“Of course! If there’s anything I can do, please let me know! I’ll even hold your hand!”
