Deep Linking: iOS Universal Links with GameMaker
This article covers how to inject associated domain to your GameMaker game, using the built-in Code Injection field in a GameMaker iOS extension.
Why do you need the associated domain "applinks" string?
To link an associated domain to your iOS app, one of the several steps is that you need to build the string "applinks:yourFullyQualifiedDomain.com" to the app archive by adding this capability to your XCodeProject. There are many tutorials on how to do it on the internet which covers all the other steps.
What happens if this string is added manually to XCode?
If you manually insert this string into XCode, GameMaker will overwrite it every time you build your game, because it's regenerating the XCodeProject, overwriting whatever you modified.
How to do it properly in GameMaker
It's possible you use a post install script to do it. However, the GameMaker way of doing it, is by "Code Injection" during the build process. Basically GM loads in its template .xcodeproj and replaces predefined strings with your extension settings.
Here in GM manual is a list of predefined strings for iOS Code Injection:
To add the "associated domain" capability, what we're looking for is YYIosEntitlements. Add the following into any iOS extension's "Code Injection" field:
<YYIosEntitlements> <key>com.apple.developer.associated-domains</key> <array> <string>applinks:yourFullyQualifiedDomain.com</string> </array> </YYIosEntitlements>
Save and build the GameMaker project. You should see that the associated domain is written into your "Capabilities & Entitlements" section.
What to do next
You can also enable developer mode to test the universal link behavior.

A list of headcannons/actual canons in my AUs for digimon things
If in a universe like Adventure or Frontier where the kids are stuck in the digital world for a long time, then the kids will start to develop their own slight accents. They don’t really notice until they go back home and people think that they’re weird not only for acting like they haven’t seen each other in months, but also for talking weirdly
Unless digimon have preferred nicknames, then it’s seen as rude to refer to digimon by nicknames. Only partners and really close friends/family are allowed to shorten a digimon’s name
To add onto that, again in a series like adventure or frontier, the kids will usually start to refer to other humans by their full name out of habit if said human introduces themselves by their full name
When the digital world was young the Net Ocean and it were one in the same, however as time went on and the internet as we now know it developed, the digital world and the net ocean separated, connected by the Network (or whatever it was called in :2020) and the Real World and the Net Ocean are connected by the AR field
The digimon are native to the digital world while appmon are native to the net ocean. While digimon are made of data and their surroundings, making their evolutions more free, appmon are made by specific codes, making it harder for them to adapt, which is why they evolve through applinks with the right appmon
AI, digimon and appmon are pretty similar, but I think of it more like an actual evolution line, if that makes sense? All digimon and appmon are AI, but not all AI are digital monsters. Likewise, appmon are all digimon (digital monsters), but digimon are not all apps, if that makes sense.
Depending on the universe, the time difference between the digiworld and real one is set in stone pretty early into the digital world’s creation, however once the net ocean comes into play, it’s Timemon who controls the time ratio between worlds. Which is to say, one day it could be a year a second and the next it’s the exact same. He’s kinda quirky like that
Also the real world is actually called the analogue world, bc the digital world and net ocean are just as real as it is
Might add on more later?
#digimon digital monsters#digimon#digimon headcanons#appmon#digimon universe appli monsters#digimon adventure#digimon data squad#digimon xros wars#digimon savers#digital monsters#digimon 02#digimon frontier#digimon tamers#technically it doesn’t have to do with all of these but y’know. I like attention lol#also appmon is great and more people need to know/acknowledge that#I am also a firm believer that appmon should stay their own separate category even with how good they could fold into digimon lines

Obscurity - AU-Tober #1
Going to try to do the Au-tober thingy by @marchy-emmet. :) Here's the first one! Not beta read at all. 🥲
(Tags: implied x-reader, Submas, SFW)
Gear Station runs like finely tuned machinery. Like the perfect rhythm of a well wound clock, everything moves in pace to it's beat and purpose- Never too far, never late, never early, but precise and exact- Though the passengers and customers of the station and it's network may forever be in disarray, the station itself, and all of it's trains and rail lines, were never found in any state other than perfection, it seemed.
The trains ran all across Unova- Everywhere. Anywhere. Always bustling, almost always packed full of busy people and young pokemon trainers- Except a few lines.
The Battle lines.
The Battle Subway was a bit of a novelty, a tourist attraction. "But isn't that rather dangerous?" People would say, envisioning a harsh, intense pokemon battle taking place on a train-
And yet, that's what happened. Multiple times. And the Battle Subway was no more worse for wear.
"It was a fine experience," A trainer would remark. "That last battle was tough, though."
And the last battles were tough. Impossibly so.
"The last trainer…. was kind of strange, though." "Oh, the name? I can't remember that-" "It was just some guy, right?"
But the two who held the last battles of the Battle Subway were far from just 'some guys'.
They were the Subway Bosses.
Emmet hummed as he flipped through one of his social pages on pidget. No notifications, not that that bothered him. It was normal- In person, and online, he and his brother blurred into the background of existence it seemed- And no one paid them any heed to an almost alarming degree.
But still, he thought- And his hand hovered over an app on his X-transceiver. Applink. Applin-link. A dating app.
He hesitated, and clicked it open.
No messages.
Sighing heavily, he sat down at his desk and continued to write, hand combing through his thin, wiry silver hair. Was it too much to ask that he and his brother find someone? Surely there was someone out there who would find them charming, and, more importantly, remember them. Notice them.
Though they did have one further problem, Emmet continued to think on as he walked to the break room. It was lunch time- And he was at least looking forward to the sandwiches he and his brother had made this morning.
"Good afternoon!" He called out, entering the break room. None of the Depot Agents acknowledged him, many already chatting among each other or going to grab snacks and drinks from the vending machines or the large fridges-
Emmet sighed.
"They usually take notice of us when we're together, brother."
Emmet turned his head. Ingo. His fellow in suffering this stupid, stupid curse.
"…Good afternoon, Brother."
Ingo patted his younger twin on the shoulder, and the two of them grabbed their sandwiches, sat down, and waited. They weren't hidden- Sitting in the middle of the lunch room, and they certainly should have been noticed- Their coats were certainly noticeable- Their whole affect was striking…
But no one did.
No one ever did.
It really was like a supernatural curse, it seemed- Though it'd gone on as long as the two had been alive, it seemed.
Emmet's sandwich was gone quickly- As was Ingo's. They normally didn't socialize or particularly interact with the staff of Gear Station- They did their work, rode the train back to Anville Town, and-
Woke up for the next day.
No notifications on the X-Transceivers as they readied themselves, and headed down to the station.
"Good morning," Ingo greeted. The ticket master of the Anville stop yawned, turning to his coffee.
"Good Morning!" Ingo called out again, raising his voice. The poor worker jumped in his chair, before taking note of the two imposing men in front of him.
"O-Oh dear, uh… Good… Morning?" He blinked, looking at the two- Wearing Gear Station emblems on their hats-
"I am Emmet, and we need to get on the train."
"O-Oh right, the- Subway Bosses- Sorry Sir, didn't notice you there."
As always. "No worries." Ingo replied. No use admonishing the poor young man- He'd forget it by the following day, anyway.
At least in the confines of a subway cart they were more noticeable. It was difficult not to notice them there, given that the two of them standing side-by-side practically created a visual wall that couldn't be seen through. Something about them was particularly intimidating in this setting- Perhaps that was how they became bosses here, after all.
How did they, though? Ingo sometimes wondered- He couldn't quite remember himself, either. Perhaps an artifact of whatever caused them to be ignored, forgotten, and obscured was causing them to forget themselves. He couldn't remember how long he and Emmet had worked at Gear Station- Nor how they'd risen to the position that they'd found themselves in.
Were they ghosts? Ingo wondered- No, they seemed corporeal enough. There weren't any reports or news articles of two conductors dying either, that they could point to for evidence. Though the thought made his heart sink and his stomach grow cold. If ever he did find out what happened- Why they were like this- he hoped it wouldn't be something so… macabre. The thought made him quite melancholy.
It was in silent moments like this, riding to Gear Station, that Emmet usually found his voice- And his voice was often on the subject of their predicament, or, often enough, his pokemon- Battling took his mind off their problems, and strategizing was something he and his brother greatly enjoyed.
"Do you think Chandelure cursed us?"
Ingo scoffed. "Absolutely not. Chandelure is good, she wouldn't have done something like this-"
And Ingo's beloved companion let herself out of her pokeball, floating in front of the two.
"Maybe she did something on accident?"
The lantern-light shook itself, a sad look on it's face. Emmet felt a little guilty for his words- And apologized. The singing, glassy ghost pokemon floated in front of the two, swinging contentedly from side to side- If she could fix what ailed her trainer, she would, but she did not know- The fires of human souls were all the same to her, and Ingo and his brother looked no different to her than the multitudes of trainers she did battle against, or the commuters on the twin's beloved trains. There wasn't much to be done, it seemed- Perhaps this was just their fate.
Ingo sighed, and it wasn't long before the train pulled into Gear Station. The familiar sound of the announcer over the tanoy heralded the end of their ride, and the two stepped out and off, and to work that day.
Ignored, as always.
Luckily, the agents seemed to remember their existence, at least as their "bosses", when things needed to be done. And so, they rarely had trouble with getting their actual, bureaucratic work done for the day. Ingo couldn't complain- The office work they were used to was boring, yes, but the work of Gear Station made him and Emmet happy. That was one thing he could remember- He loved trains, and Emmet did too- But Emmet did love his pokemon and getting to battle with them every day.
Their existence at least, was peaceful, if lonely. Ingo remembered when the Gym Leader of Nimbasa had come to their line once upon a time- And they'd actually managed to hold a conversation with her. They even exchanged numbers, with the intent to train together on occasion.
She never answered- And Ingo was inclined now to think it a product of their curse, rather than her just ghosting them. He looked up from his work, feeling his neck crick as he did so. Ah, he'd been far too focused on the documents he'd been filling out and signing. Emmet groaned, and Ingo could see his leg bouncing in rapid annoyance at whatever he was focusing on.
"Emmet, why don't we take lunch early today?"
"I verrry much agree." He answered shortly, immediately standing up. Well then, there was his answer.
"I don't want to sit in the cafeteria today though. Depressing. Verry much so."
Ingo shrugged. They could eat in the common area, under the glass roof of the gallery off the atrium and amid the indoor garden of Gear Station. Yes, that sounded nice. Watch pokemon and their trainers pass by, enjoy their meals- They did do that on occasion, when the reality of sitting alone in the cafeteria, ignored by their own employees and coworkers hit a little too hard.
The two made their way over to the pretty side station- The glass roof letting in sunlight, sparkling and casting gridded shadows of the great iron beams holding the glass above them- Broken up only by the dappling of leaves of great bushes and trees. The seating wasn't too full, so the two went off to order their meals from one of the eateries in the market adjacent to Gear Station- That connected through this very gallery. The heavenly smell of stir fries and curries and grease and sweets was lesser over here, but the twins could still smell it, and the aroma only became more and more intense as they approached the market- Making both of their stomachs growl.
"I want curry." Emmet announced, and off he marched to go and acquire the food- Ingo following after him. The two moved around people, rather than anyone moving around them, in spite of their height and rather foreboding appearance. And soon they stood in line, though that did not stop someone behind them from bumping into them- "Oh sorry, I didn't quite… see you there," They would hastily answer, suddenly feeling strange they didn't notice the two striking individuals in front of them- Only for the same thing to happen again. And again. And a few more times for good measure.
Up until the twins got up to finally place their order- And waited. The staff were busy- Waiting for someone to come up to the counter to order at their stall within the market.
"Excuse me!" Ingo yelled, rather loudly. It was the only way to get anyone's attention, it seemed-
But this time, no one noticed.
"Excuse us," Emmet also attempted to grab the poor cashier's attention, but they still didn't notice- Focusing instead on fiddling with something under the counter, as if blind not only to the twins but to the few people waiting behind them as well.
And you were getting impatient yourself- The two in front of you were certainly… intimidating, you thought- But- Had they offended the cashier? Could the Cashier not hear them? You weren't one to normally intervene, but… Well, you were hungry yourself.
"Excuse me," You interjected.
The twins ignored you. "Ahem, Excuse me," You interjected a bit more forcefully, and tapped the shoulder of the one in black. The market was quite loud- Perhaps they just couldn't hear you. But the way the one in black jumped- The obstinate frown on his face made him looked downright horrified. You hadn't meant to frighten him-
"Are you talking to me?" He asked, almost incredulously. Your own face matched his- Confusion and a sharp frown. "Well, yes. Is there something the matter? I'd like to order my lunch."
The two looked at each other. The one in white, a pleasant smile on his face, answered you first. "That's what we're trying to do. You seem good at getting people's attention. Here. Speak to them, please."
Your curiosity stopped you from rebuking the request- This was certainly strange. You'd seen a few people run into the pair, but you'd chalked it up to people not paying attention in the bustle of the market and just getting pushed around- Which happened.
"Alright, what did you two want to order?" You asked, as the cashier cheerfully turned to you, smile on her face, and suddenly jumped in shock as you addressed the two men flanking you- And a minute later, you had three order tickets, and a few more minutes later, you had your lunch- And they had theirs. "Let us pay for you. It's the least we can do," The one in black offered- And before you could really utter out any objection, he offered you a bill of money that more than covered your meal.
"Glad I could uh, be of help-" I guess, you thought. What a strange pair- Twins, evidently, and to you, at least, they were the most striking pair in the entire market- And all of Gear Station. Well, no matter. You should really be getting home, and so you went to bid them farewell.
"Actually, would you- I'm terribly sorry to inconvenience you, but would you take your stop with us?" The one in black asked.
The one in white stood at your other side. "Yes! Please. We would like to talk to you, a little bit."
You considered it a moment. Their silver eyes sparkled at you, filled with a strange emotion- An almost hopeful look.
"Okay, sure. Who are you two, anyway? I feel like I've seen you… on the trains before. Aren't you two trainers?"
"I am Emmet, and this is my brother, Ingo."
Ingo bowed lightly. "We're quite glad to hear you've heard of us before, too."
"Yup! Verrry glad!"
It was going to be the first of many lunches shared with the strange bosses of Gear Station.

veeerrry slowly making my way through appmon (just finished ep 6)
i'm enjoying it so far (still) but i also just had a realization that like
part of my hesitancy about watching appmon is that a lot of stills for the fused apps were kind of offputting (3d in 2d animation can be super hit or miss)
like i've seen screenshots of a lot of the higher grade appmon and was like "hm, that's not pleasant to look at"
and now i'm watching it and like "oh, that was definitely designed with movement in mind" because holy shit yeah the stills do not do appmon justice
the use of 3d animation in appmon gives me a feeling that the creators really wanted to include that code overlay effect, but since that's incredibly time-consuming to do in a way that might look good on 2d animated characters, the use of 3d allows them to express that excessively digital vibe (and it looks really good in motion)
as for all the standard grade appmon, i think something similar still holds true in that just looking at their ref book images doesn't do them justice. perorimon is the whole reason i wanted to talk about this (debuted in ep 6) because hooooly shit the ref book image just does not get across how good this goober looks in movement.
in other words, appmon seem designed for animation first and foremost
also while i'm at it i want to say i think it's fun that every appmon really does just have like coax cables in their back for applinks. more digimon shit should like, have weird technological things like that going on.
#sky talks#digimon#appmon#part of the reason my appmon watch is going so slow is because i'm also rewatching a few other seasons still#i am excited to get to a point in the season where it demands i watch it in a hurry#but that's not to say i'm disliking the episodes i'm on#all digimon series tend to have a handful of episodes at the beginning that you really gotta onramp yourself onto#it isn't a bad thing--- it's just the nature of trying to get an audience familiar with a new cast of characters and setting#i think i will probably hit the “oh i can't stop watching this” phase when the kid with musemon comes into the cast though#before i heard shit about appmon (aka way back when it was coming out) i saw musemon and was like#“damn. that's a good mon design.”#the same holds true for hackmon but i feel like even appmon haters look at hackmon (a) and are like “damn that's a good mon design”#and if they aren't they are denying the truth lmao

Hey everyone, this is PFN here. I want to make this new version of the review series I made a few years ago, Digimon Universe Appli Monster.
The second episode of Appmon has the same problems I had when I first reviewed it. It uses too much humor to take the situation seriously. There are only two scenes when Navimon is messing with the navigation app, which is good. Besides those two scenes, I didn’t like what Navimon did in this episode.
Another one of my problems with this episode, in particular, is that even though Haru developed the desire to help people get his Apple drive and made his point of wanting 2 Chainz, I felt like it didn’t give him and Gatchmon time to interact with one another. Most of their interactions with each other just felt like exposition for the antagonist of the series and nothing else.
One of my biggest issues about this episode is how the characters blamed the app for Watson getting attacked by a dog. Then, he pays attention to his surroundings or even questions why the navigation system is telling him to go every which way instead of location to home. Even though this is a big part of the conversation of the premise of the episode, I feel that it shouldn’t be against someone having common sense rather than just unthinkingly following technology. It keeps happening in this episode, and I don’t even think it’s funny. It’s just showing that people have no common sense. I understand that the navigation app allows people to get to locations where they don’t know the location, but I think that Watson and Ai should have known where they were and could get home safely without using the application.
The battle between Navimon and Gatchmon was not good because of one hit from Navimon, and they had to use the chemical of the season known as AppLink for this episode. Right now, it’s lame. It’s not really combining Appmon. It has Messmon being invisible and using a special technique. I wish Gatchmon did a little bit more before they needed to use the gimmick of the season.
After the battle, Camèramon shows up. He tells them that he is watching them, and after getting all the information he needs, he’s going to eliminate them. Using his cameras he was able to blind Gatchmon lithium, unable to use ability to search his weakness. Haru uses Navimon’s Appmon chip to link him with Gatchmon however this was the evolutionary function of the season known as App fusion. even though the evolutionary sequence is not that interesting as the last series did DoGatchmon looks really cool.
So my personal opinion about this episode that it wasn’t that good. I felt like did you lie comedy well or the characters can look around their surroundings and making sure that they’re going the right way instead of relying on the app all the time. I know this is more like an old man saying this, but really they have no where they’re going because they should be looking around their surroundings then instead of looking at their phones.
The battle was really underwhelming and dumb. They could have put the debut of DoGatchmon somewhere else because Camèramon is at the same level as Gatchmon. It just felt rush in my opinion.
So I’ll give this episode a two out 10

Messemon (U. Knight Version)
The Messemon for a messaging app that used to be quite popular. Due to an incident in its past, it changed its appearance. Only two of its faces are visible at any time, and the third is forced to stay inside the chess piece accompanying it. This does not stop the sealed face from finishing the others' thoughts, however. This change has made them more fragmented and prone to arguing amongst themselves.
Like I've said before, I'm not at all confident in my ability to design fakemon, but here is my attempt at designing a Buddy Appmon for Knight Unryuuji (post-canon) based on the app he created in college. I played around with the idea of making a chess piece with three faces, but that felt like it strayed too far from the original Messemon design, and the idea of the app trying to "fix" its own cyberbullying problems by sealing off parts of its personality took hold. No one face is ever permanently stuck in the chess piece, but they all vie for the "primary" position, as none of them particularly like being in the horse (but note that's where the AppLink cables are!).
Realistically, I don't know how well this concept would work as a character, but I thought it was an apt and interesting contrast given that Knight was actually pretty good at "sealing off" aspects of himself with his various roles and personas. What I DO know is 1) This appmon is still processing its trauma, 2) All three Messemon parts love Knight equally, and 3) He loves them and tries to help them be at peace and manage their emotions <3
#appmon#appli monsters#knight unryuuji#messemon#fakemon#you can tell how often I draw horses (not very) but it was fun to do!

okay okay, i'm finally watching appmon
i'm only like 5 eps in and watching it while doing art
the buddy apps so far that we've met (gatchmon and dokamon) are so fucking funny. they're both weirdos for entirely different reasons.
also appmon really feels like the bridge between xros wars and ghost game so far--- applink emphasizing the power of connections like digixros, and a lot of worldbuilding elements that feel like they were stripped for parts into ghost game (the AR field and a lot of how the mons interact with IRL stuff).
i guess also the grb factor feels reminiscent of the l virus but i'll put a pin in that until the resolution of the plot ghfghfmghfghhj
i guess that shouldn't be a surprise considering that, like, GG was completely fine having espimon (an appmon) be a main supporting cast member, but
yes i know adventure 2020 technically came between appmon and ghost game, but. adventure media including the reboot exists as an extant form of digimon that just is to my brain lmao.
#sky talks#digimon#appmon#digimon xros wars#digimon ghost game#i'm also really interested to see where leviathan goes since like#i think this is one of few times the presumable big bad of the series was explicitly introduced ep 1?#the only other time i can think of is literally xros wars#even in frontiers cherubimon ends up being the dragon instead of the actual final boss#most other series don't put their eggs into a unified baddie#i may eat my words if levia pulls a dragon but#it is also nice to have it feel like it's an active force rather than just a vague evil presence#the seeming connections between it and the app drive also have me excited#but Totally Not Leviathan l corp is also just plain fucking funny

Appmon Sequel Thoughts & Unexplored Plots
Citrus Presents: a super-messy dump of Appmon plot bunnies and headcanons I have been thinking WAY too much about and would really-no-really want to see in a hypothetical Appmon season 2, movie, or audio drama (Probably not all at once. But a lot of them could definitely co-exist!). Mostly focuses on the human characters, and under a cut to spare you the GIGANTIC WALL OF ME YELLING EXCITEDLY THROUGH BULLET POINTS.
Also, spoilers if you haven’t finished the series? Yeah, I feel like I gotta keep saying that.
Picking up literally the moment Season 1 ended: Yuujin is there. He says Haru’s name. Haru smiles. Smash cut to a scene where it is very quickly established that Yuujin knew enough to find the bookshop, recognize Haru and probably Offmon, plus a few other random fragments of his old life... AND THAT’S IT. Amnesia, baby!! The Appdrivers now have to solve the mystery of How The Hell Did Yuujin Come Back From The Dead (because obviously Yuujin doesn’t know. AND REI DOES NOT TRUST. ANY OF THIS.), while Yuujin has to relearn some of the finer points of being human, plus rebuild his relationships with Offmon and the rest of his friends.
But. BUT!!! HIS DEVOTION TO HARU IS CONSTANT AND UNCHANGING. It makes Haru really uncomfortable! Because his friend is back... and yet he isn’t. HE IS WORKING SO HARD TO FIGURE OUT WHAT HAPPENED AND TO RESTORE YUUJIN’S MEMORIES but maybe it doesn’t ever happen??? And he just has to learn to live with that????
But Offmon is learning how to be brave and more emotionally resilient! He is still super shy and uncertain but helps out a lot! For Haru’s sake! For his Buddy’s sake!
Honestly 60% of amnesia!Yuujin would just be Data from Star Trek TNG, but it worked then and it can work for Appmon and just. HARUJIN! AND NOT-HARUJIN! AND CHARACTER GROWTH???
ALTERNATELY, an audio drama similar to the “Tegami” one from Adventure 02 (the one where Yamato does a lot of near-solitary reflection on the beach) where Yuujin remembers everything that happened during the Human Application Project, and it’s about his consciousness journeying up through the Dark Web to get back to the human world after being left in limbo. Along the way, he would start to deal with his grief and guilt at being Leviathan’s tool, but keeps Haru’s last words to him in mind, and he probably runs into a handful of helpful/unhelpful appmon until it ends with him getting his body back. HARUJIN! AND ANGST! AND HOPE! AND CHARACTER GROWTH!!!
I have seen this brought up elsewhere and I love it: Leviathan and Minerva come back, but reincarnated as low-level Appmon. They are adorable but also intrinsically don’t like each other and are all “wtf I used to be like that??” with respect to their former selves. BABY SNEK AND OWL. WHO APPLINK WITH THE MAIN APPMON AND RETURN TO THEIR FORMER NEARLY-OMNIPOTENT GLORY ON RARE OCCASIONS BECAUSE OF COURSE THEY DO.
Alternatively they are in their human forms from the manga and are girlfriends or something leave me alone
idk if the L-Virus is back, but apps still have to be rebelling and/or getting infected. Season 1 gave us the Twitter Appmon, and all I ask now is for there to be a Duolingo Appmon. INFECTED/EVIL DUO IS GIGANTIC AND PICKS A FIGHT WITH TINY MINERVA. THE BATTLE OF THE AI OWLS ENSUES. IT IS AWESOME.
Speaking of infected Appmon (and based around real algorithms-- *coughcough* the Tumblr Purge of 2017) we also have Censormon, the censoring app! He is both incredibly annoying and shockingly powerful for a standard-grade Appmon. Becomes Astora’s sworn enemy when he demonetizes some of Astora’s videos for no good reason. He is completely out of control while infected and sees even the most minced swears or chaste public displays of affection as “immoral” and in need of bleeping and having black bars slapped across them. Can also pixelate himself so he’s harder to hit. Hijinks ensue. THIS IS PRIME CRACKTASTIC AUDIO DRAMA MATERIAL TOEI, FEEL FREE TO USE IT.
Still love the idea of Astora having a baby sister. He is tapped for babysitting duty pretty regularly and often ropes the other AppDrivers in as well. He, Musimon, and Eri are really good at making her smile and laugh, Haru reads her stories, Dokamon, Offmon, and Hackmon are all varying degrees of scared & clueless, but both Rei and Hajime excel at like... actual care of a living human being. Anyway, I should really come up with a name for her :O
AN EPISODE DEDICATED TO YUUJIN’S MOM!!!! and showing how she came to create/be in charge of the YJ project. Hot damn do I have headcanons for this AI researcher lady.
WHERE IS HARU’S DAD?? still voting for him being a botanist who shuns most forms of technology and works in remote parts in the world; he wasn’t targeted by Leviathan bc his digital footprint is completely nonexistent, which is why Leviathan focused on Haru after he thought Denemon was dead. He and Haru write letters longhand and send each other book recommendations, and he shows up to visit his family briefly before heading off into the wilderness again LEAVE ME ALONE
Eri experiences some more of the pressures of being an idol and making some tough choices re: happiness/honor vs. popularity/influence. Her life is good, but she is busier than ever, and it’s starting to get to her... also, maybe bring back an idea that was kind of forgotten about in Season 1, with AI idols and Apptubers being a real and persistent threat to her and Astora’s careers, and are now evolving into click-hungry AIs with sentience and an eerily good understanding of how to promote themselves, just no bodies... Eri vs. Hatsune Miku??? IDK
They are still using the bookshop basement as headquarters, and as such Ai spends a lot of time being a surrogate big sister to Hajime. The two of them play pranks on the rest of the cast a LOT. Also we learn why the basement was sealed up and why Denemon set up shop there (he and Ai’s grandpa were close?)
AI GETS AN APPDRIVE!! HAJIME GETS AN APPDRIVE!!! EVERYONE GETS AN APPDRIVE!!!!
ESPECIALLY KNIGHT, OK?? KNIGHT HAS AN APPDRIVE AND THE APP HE DEVELOPED IN COLLEGE IS HIS BUDDY
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT
MAYBE THAT’S THE HOOK INTO THE PLOT ACTUALLY. Yuujin’s back w/o memories and everyone’s like “???? weird, but ok.” Minerva and Leviathan are back w/o memories and everyone’s like “???? weird, but ok.” A shadowy figure does a big dramatic Deus Ex Machina save of the main cast at one point and is like “We need to talk... about all these AI coming back from the dead” AND IT’S KNIGHT. WITH HIS OWN APPMON. WHO IS BACK FROM THE DEAD. CUE CLIFFHANGER.
IDK I AM V. SELF CONSCIOUS BEING THE WEIRDO ON THIS WEBSITE WHO WILL NOT SHUT UP ABOUT APPMON
BUT ALSO
I HATE NOT HAVING THE TIME/ABILITY TO WRITE/DRAW ALL OF THESE THINGS
PLEASE HELP ME OUT HERE TOEI MY CROPS ARE DYING
THE END
