Prem Marbles Pvt. Ltd. recently welcomed a group of enthusiastic interior design students from VCD College for an insightful factory visit. The visit aimed to provide students with a real-world perspective on marble craftsmanship, stone processing techniques, and design applications in the construction and interior design industry.

From the moment they arrived, the students were guided through various sections of the factory, where they witnessed the intricate processes involved in marble production. Starting with the raw stone selection, they learned how only the finest quality blocks are chosen for processing. They observed the precision cutting process, where massive stone blocks are transformed into slabs of desired thickness using advanced machinery.

One of the highlights of the visit was the polishing section. Students were fascinated by the advanced polishing techniques that bring out the natural beauty and shine of the marble. They also explored the finishing process, where edges are refined, and surfaces are customized based on design specifications.

The students were particularly impressed by the variety of marble designs on display, including signature collections like Marine Black, Ocean Green, Cherry Gold, and Banswara White. Each marble type's unique characteristics, including veining patterns, textures, and colors, were explained in detail by the factory’s expert team.

Throughout the visit, the students engaged in interactive discussions with the company’s professionals, asking questions about marble sourcing, design applications, sustainability practices, and modern design trends. They also gained insights into how natural stone is used creatively in different interior and architectural projects worldwide.

The visit concluded with a knowledge-sharing session, where the students expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to experience the entire production cycle firsthand. They acknowledged how the visit deepened their understanding of the marble industry and inspired them to think creatively about incorporating natural stones into future design projects.
