Ya'll I did not realize it was two different actors playing movie stargate and sg-1 Daniel.

I watched the movie, immediately started the series, and had the vague thought of "hm, Daniel has a slightly different... vibe." and then thought nothing else of it FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON.
