personality: ruthless, tactical, loyal, sentimental, observant, brash  past: margo grew up in LA as the only child of a busy single father. he did his best to take care of margo, but was very often away on business trips, leaving margo with the live-in nanny. however, when he was around, he was kind and caring and thoughtful, and he always taught margo to be strong, to be empowered and confident. he taught her to always go after what she wanted in life: he just never quite anticipated the lengths she’d go to. as she grew older, her opinionated spirit and drive worried her father, and he no longer liked the girl she had grown into: he wanted his little girl back, while margo only wanted to seek a life for herself. there was a very clear wedge between them, and the day margo moved out to go to college, studying theatre at UCLA, was the last day she ever spoke to him. in 2015, margo was accepted into brakebills and moved into the physical kids’ cottage-- specifically for those focused on physical magic-- and her discipline is cold manipulation. ever since her second year of study, things have been... chaotic, to say the least. from finding a whole new world, becoming queen, becoming king-- being overthrown, having to deal with her best friend being possessed for months, having a close friend die, oh and becoming a werewolf-- it’s been a lot. and it only got more intense in recent months with the fucking destruction of fillory.

present:  which she then helped to rebuild. and is currently stuck on, having been rebuilding for an entire year of their time. but she and her friends are about to finally reconnect with earth through a very well timed traveler... headcanons: -margo has a fairy eye that enables her to see things that otherwise might not be able to be perceived by the human eye. this includes seeing past enchantments.  -while margo’s discipline is cold manipulation, margo has wide and extensive knowledge and skills within the physical brand of magic. but margo’s skills lie heavily in knowledge, specifically, of people. margo is an exceptional tactician. it made her a very powerful and wise ruler and meant on earth, people put a lot of trust and faith in her. she’s something of a secret keeper and it’s true that if you ever want to know something about someone, margo is the best person to ask. she has exceptional skills and there is an almost magic nature to even her voice. -her boggart is eliot possessed by the monster.  -while she’s never cast it, her patronus would be a polar bear.  -werewolves in the world of magicians/powered by the wellspring are incredibly different to those from the wizarding world. for magicians, it is a sexually transmitted disease and every thirty years the ‘quickening’ occurs, which makes a werewolf either fuck to pass on the disease, or brutally kill. it’s a leetle dramatic and a leetle funny and margo kinda laughs at wizarding world werewolves.

name: margo hanson  age: 28 since losing time being in fillory  date of birth: december 27th 1992  fandom: the magicians  faceclaim: summer bishil  height: 5′2  pronouns/gender identity/sexual+romantic identity: she/her, cis-female, bisexual/romantic + poly  where have they been living since the return snap: stuck in new fillory  what have they been doing personally and/or professionally since the return snap: helping the transition for the fillorians, settling in their newly created world. continuing to serve as high king.  if they are part/have ever been a part of SHIELD or the avengers team, when did they join and why: n/a  do they currently live in the avengers compound: nope  moral alignment: chaotic good  dusted in the snap or not: nope  if they weren’t dusted, what did they get up to in those five years, be as brief or in depth as you want: for margo, it’s only been a year and a few months since the original snap. she was on earth for the first year, until late 2020. in that time, she dealt with her best friend being possessed by the nameless god, thought to be dead and lost to them forever. became a werewolf in order to prevent a friend from having to murder a bitch, helped find a way to free eliot from the god’s possession, and then suffered the loss of another friend in the process. but it didn’t stop there. why would it? insert an apocalypse, some moving the moon antics and being trapped in a fillory flung 300 years into the future and top it off with the utter destruction of said world and well, merry christmas? in december of 2020, margo aided in creating a new fillory with the world seed and ark. which is exactly where she has been since... ramble a bit about them, their past, what their current motivations are: jump to now and it’s been six months since margo, alice, fen & josh were zapped to the new fillory and in that time, margo has continued to serve as high king. she’s helped fillory in the transition, growing their new world with the help of magic to speed things along a little. it’s still been a slow process, but it’s been pretty calm in all honesty, by comparison to recent years at least. 

margo has always been motivated by a determination to prove those around her wrong. her father influenced her greatly in her early years, encouraging her to be outgoing and not let the world stop her. admittedly, it got a bit strained when she got older and started to rebel against him, when she got too outspoken for his tastes. still, she wasn’t about to let another man hold her back, and she’s never given in with that. it’s seen her thrive in fillory, beginning to reshape their views on women as a whole and challenge the societal norms. margo can be brash with her words at times and her actions can be impulsive, but she’s incredibly intelligent. a master strategist and thinker. a leader. none of this has changed and she plans on continuing to be a good leader to fillory, while helping on earth too when the get there.  one plot idea, big or small, you’d like to do with them: like with quentin, i’m bringing her in to get involved with the upcoming magic/gods/etc plot, but i also want her to help with restoring order in gotham, especially bonding with the BOP mayhaps bc we stan girl gang forever ok.
