Hi everyone, after a long time without drawing the characters from APOY because I didn't like their design and wasn't happy with the overall style of the novel, I finally drew Lee!

It was really cool to finally draw him without having to copy a style that I honestly don't find appealing anymore.

I just wanted to let you know that the novel will (once again) receive an update for the sprites and art!

I'm going to redo the entire menu because I now have better programming skills and can draw better overall.

I know my style is simpler and less detailed now, but it makes me happier

And we also wanted to let you guys know that the game is no longer on hiatus, and Day 1 is now in development

Well, a little update about the novel: Lee's sprites are practically all ready (I'm finishing the last one right now as I'm posting this), and now the drawings will have a different lineart. After 15 hours of drawing and redrawing the characters, and with the help of some friends, I managed to achieve a result that everyone liked.

The script is fully ready, the new scenarios are all done, and the new menu is complete as well, so I would say that overall, everything is 70% finished

The prologue will also be rewritten because, honestly, when I was working on it, I just wanted to finish quickly. I was frustrated with my drawings and ended up placing the characters randomly so as not to waste the sprites I had already made. At that point, I was ready to give up on the project. But drawing has been relaxing lately (except for a few things)

Finally, I stopped being lazy and made a drawing of Lee's sister.

(I still think my drawing looks like a 'child's drawing.' Does anyone else get that feeling?)

Some people said that the Yohan I had made looked too childish or cute, so I redid him XD (honestly, he still looks cute to me)

My greatest happiness is that these are just the prologue clothes
