*stokes the fire* Aporia
thinking about that tweet that's like "i like your funny reply friend! you'll be buried in my pyramid with me when i die"--that's how i feel with you delightful anons who give me excuses to Go Bananas About Aporia. said with so much love in my heart. thank you <3
favorite thing about them: GOD. THERE REALLY IS SO MUCH. Of course I love his design, it's absolutely bonkers in the best way--if you told me two years ago there was a nine foot tall monster robot yugioh character with angel symbolism out the ass i would have been like EXCUSE ME. HELLO. *RUNNING OVER* but also!! his arc is just fucking GOOD. he's just this sad and complex and angry and miserable old old old man in a robot werelion body who's actually three people who are actually just one person. peak yugioh villain nonsense i absolutely adore it. and i LOVE when villains have the face turn and fight back against the Big Bad as much as they can. it goes hard!!! (but also, specific small thing thats one of my favorite things about him--it's like, very implied despite being Gigantic he's fairly dexterous and gentle with how he handles things?? Always grabbing his tiny cards very delicately and doings little tricks with them and in tag force 6 (Citizen Kane for Insane Aporia Girlies) he actively tells you the protagonist that he doesnt make mistakes with how much force to use with things (being a machine and all.) idk it's just very cute to me. it's a sweet detail.)
least favorite thing about them: pained smile. big man proper's literally only in.....about 9-10 episodes total??? <:) crying. wailing. my kingdom for a SLIVER of more screentime. it's also a shame like. 2/3s of his episodes never got dubbed, I would have absolutely adored to see what the dubbed version would have looked like!! (especially since those eps include like. my Favorite 5ds duels. it'd be like having two whole cakes babey!!!!)
favorite line: ok im restraining myself from picking something from Tag Force because all of his dialogue in TF6 makes me sick in the head and i love it but I WILL PICK. SOMETHING FROM THE ANIME. LIKE A NORMAL PERSON. god. it's gotta be these.
Tumblr media
also "I was imprisoned by my feelings, so you can have my feelings" which he says immediately before this, also to Z-ONE. A.) theyre just raw as hell, B.) ooohhhh my god ohhhh my fucking godddddd he loved him so fucking muuuuuch buy my fucking SILENCE
brOTP: when people draw him being friends with leo and/or luna i get soooooo soft ;_____; my kingdom for an AU where aporia got to live and could interact with them for once not under the pretenses of needing to Kill Team 5Ds. WAUUGH. also i guess brotp adjacent but him interacting with his embodiments is so fucking funny and it's apparently just me and the tag force devs who see and know the truth on that.
OTP: ooouugh...oughhhhh you Know im talking bout those old old men!!!!! i am #1 absolute adorer of the Iliaster Four Stars Peepaw Polycule (Aporia/Z-one/Paradox/Antinomy) we know this we know this. but special mention to my most favorite combo of that of all, my beloved Z-ONE/Aporia. see above. it doesnt even have a damn ship name 🤪they just!!!! make me absolutely fucking insane. theyre married theyre divorced theyre god and his most devoted archangel theyre old friends theyre a Fleetwood Mac album and theyre EVERYTHING TO ME!!!!!!! the second i get over worrying about being annoying i will Not shut up about them even more!!!!!
nOTP: i think if you ship with rua/leo you should go to jail and then directly to hell immediately after <3
random headcanon: Aporia Aporiaaaa my beloved bisexual italian/cuban autistic nonbinary dadgirl. i think in another life where he wasnt Extremely Fucked Up and Died Like Five Times he could have been good with kids. also. i think in the implied fixed future where the Four Stars get to live normally he would be a furry. him and eurea both. furcon couple
unpopular opinion: he's a GOOD CHARACTER!!!! HE AND THE EPISODES HE'S IN HAVE MERIT!!!!!! NOBODY BUT LIKE MAYBE 12 PEOPLE GIVE A DAMN ABOUT THIS GUY BUT HE ROCKS AND I THINK MORE PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT HIM!!!!!!! drawing my big sword (draw tablet) I Will Make Them Know About Him. >:)c
song i associate with them: i, dana "the mountain goats lover" ninetales of course. keep finding tmg songs to associate with characters. And Genesis 30:3 is one of my favorite songs for Aporia, especially re: his dynamic with Z-ONE. "I will do what you ask me to do/Because of how I feel about you." IS SO!!! MUFFLED WAILING.
favorite picture of them: oh man. *slams my giant briefcase of aporia screenshots down on the table* ok. ok let's see. just ONE favorite? alright. ok. i got this. hm. this one i think
Tumblr media
A.) aaauuughh i love his 'broken' form i need to draw it sometimes....the Moment energy lines...... B.) TINY TINY FUCKING CARDS!!!!, C.) this is from the exact moment where something in my brain clicked and was like "oh. oh this guy is in my head now for real. maybe i do fuck with his design" and. well. things snowballed <3

i finished pandae so thoughts below the cut BUT I HAVE TO YELL ABOUT SOMETHING FIRST
IVALICE STANS HOW WE DOING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i knew there has to be a reason why themis looks like ramza beyond “it’s a cute shonen face” and there has to be a reason why lahabrea’s dark armor creations were in mullonde!!! the heart of sabik is auracite that athena tampered with and what do you know, xiv’s ultima the high seraph is a primal summoned from another world. i’ve been crackpot theorizing lahabrea was behind the summoning of ultima and manipulating the war of lions based on nothing but the presence of the dark armor miniboss and now we get actual confirmation that his wife is the first to make contact with auracite and possibly ultima too. themis’s ramza resemblance is probably symbolic but i wouldn’t rule out that ramza has even met elidibus before.
AURACITE EXISTED BEFORE THE SUNDERING. ULTIMA THE HIGH SERAPH EXISTED BEFORE THE SUNDERING.
this might also explain why the convocation seats are named after the scions of light from ff12--because they first convocation members probably were the actual scions of light that rose in opposition to the lucavi. elidibus and azem seats could be added later idk
the heart of sabik being auracite could also explain why lahabrea went from Stern Professor Who Won’t Round Up Your Grade to the bonkers version we know. auracite amplifies and twists your desires into something destructive, like with bagamnan and his wish to destroy the garlean empire. lahabrea’s duty to the star was probably similarly warped to him taking glee in destroying the shards, explaining why he’s a mustache twirling cackling villain as opposed to emet seeing the rejoining as a depressing burden.
final thing: lahabrea is all about fire magicks. his sigil is from mateus’s glyph tho, and mateus is an esper of ice. he really is in opposition to mateus, and his dual personality even references the og mateus the ivalice one is named after. this has layers.
about the fights: the first one was kinda easy, the second was a bit tricky, the third killed me bc i was too busy crying, BUT ATHENA. HOLY FUCK. SHE’S A GORGEOUS BUTTERFLY THAT SUMMONS HIGH SERAPH ADDS. i saw yet another take about how xiv female bosses are all sexy and boring but like....athena is supposed to be beautiful that’s how she masks her sinister motives and why she got so many ppl under her sway. let’s use our noggins before making hot takes on patch day 1 for clout.
im so fucking glad that the “erich is our lahabrea” theory got debunked lol. i thought claudien was an erich shard because they share similar skin tone and eye color. that’s why when erich bade us farewell, i wasn’t too sad because he’s still here in aporia and we can talk to him whenever we want. (unlike ryne and gaia....haha..... ;_;)
THEMIS THO ;-; im glad they made it canon that the wol feels absolutely terrible about killing elidibus. in the ew msq we have the options of saying “I’m sorry.” to elidibus before he sends us to elpis, and now in pandae we look miserable when themis tells us athena is making him fight us. the scene when he’s starting to dissipate in the convocation meeting room mirrors his last moments in 5.3, but this time we save him!!!!! my wol finally got off her ass and used her healing on him!!!!!! way to go yuma
i lost my mind when themis spoke to us as a friend tho. he has the face of a kyoani protag and the deepest voice in the cast. i will miss you so much my fluffy boy!!!!!! you deserve all the happiness in the world!!!! when he was drifting in the aetherial sea and the light started shining i was crying i hope his next life is full of joy.
(massive copium: no themis minion means we get to see him again in the future even tho he should be like a baby lol)
i liked when erich said that he went around looking for the wol after abyssos wrapped up. my headcanon is that he approached my azem and asked to see the absurdly strong rabbit person familiar again, and azem was like “uhhh ummm okay....here” and she pulls out a little red bunny. “this is her resting mode,” says azem. “she used up too much strength investigating pandaemonium.”

forgot to bring up this goofball
meet spire! technically not a new gem oc, just an old one finally given new purpose stuff about him below the cut, but to summarize, he's an angelite who was formally made for a hospital, turned nomadic, and later hardcoded to look incredibly similar to what the indigium shrine looks like in gem galaxies
upon spire's initial creation in the middle of era 1, he was simply referred to as his cabochon-8 very average angelite honestly, looked nothing like he does now - his hair was a flat white color, tied in a thick ponytail and his eyes weren't fucked beyond belief - can you believe it! despite being so subliminally average, though, 8 was created to be a perfect cut angelite, and thus he was. his perfection was utilized to create a role model within one of the galaxy's work-in-progress hospitals - the i.h.l.a. - and so he was sent as one of the very first angelites to serve for that particular infirmary though, course, he HATED it. like, a lot the head of the infirmary, moonstone, had not only expressed an intense distaste towards her only employees but also seemed to particularly target 8, because in her mind, she viewed 8 as not worthy of his title as a perfect cut gem. while all the other high ranks fawned over him moonstone saw him as a snobby, stubborn brat - i mean, he was a little rude, but snobby? that's a bit of an overexaggeration. you know, though, moonstone is quite immature for her rank, so with that she often tried to intentionally cause accidents around 8 and make it seem like he'd done it himself, which eventually overtime degraded his social image as a perfect cut gem while moonstone got a kick out of this, 8 eventually grew absolutely sick of it, and decided to enact his own willful hatred towards his manager - how? by vandalizing a massive part of the hospital of course using fire, 8 went ahead to destroy a very important part of the hospital - particularly a place where the higher ranks of the hospital who supervised the gems there kept their important files, and the records of patients there. normally 8 would've felt grief and guilt over this action but having been so morbidly frustrated he sought out the same kind of despair moonstone had inflicted upon him, and that just happened to take the form of arson after this event, 8 was never caught, and ended up dipping out of the hospital to live as a nomadic gem outside of the empire. he felt rather good about his heinous action, and guilt for it never weighed on him, as he seemingly lived blissfully among organic planets not yet threatened by homeworld's colonization, naming plants among them - such as the vegetation that grew on planet lamari, like the zeshix mushrooms and aporia trees. during this nomadic part of his life he referred to himself as Larkspur
it didn't take long, though, for his nomadic life to end abruptly, as the war between homeworld and eulogy's infamous cult struck, and began demolishing planets left and right as homeworld attempted to stop the cult's deeds to tear down the empire one structure at a time. because of often being around these structures that were overgrown by the brutality of nature, its no surprise Larkspur got caught in the midst of these battles, and due to his lack of diamond-relative esque branding on his form he was assumed cultist and poofed. his gem's energy was harvested within one of the empire's shrines, and the device he was placed into practically sent him into being dormant. after being released his gem had basically been reset to a degree, and he was hardcoded to look exactly like a servant of that shrine
...though, he may be able to regain the memory of his past existence

I cannot shake off the fear that the Velgearians' deaths are permanent
Studio Bridge doesn't have a precedent for deaths the way Gallop did. The closest thing we had to temporary deaths in Bridge was the characters being turned to ice in the Great King of Terror arc and that arc had a heavy emphasis on trying to save the ones who'd been trapped in ice. This Velgearians' death arc though? I don't think the idea of bringing back the Velgearians who've died has graced even a single character's lips yet. It still could in the last few episodes to be fair but so far, it's all about preventing more deaths which at this point, let's be real, is all of one death: Yudias. But if anything, the opposite of saving the Velgearians has come up in the most recent episode:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
These lines in particular really fuck me up. Because on the one hand, I see the reasoning: life shouldn't be eternal and we all have to accept death eventually. But on the other hand, the Velgearians have entire goddamn galaxies in them! Look at this dialogue from episode 89 when Kuaidul explains why he's dying:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Is he saying that the Andromeda Galaxy ITSELF is dying here?! Because that's how it reads to me! We know Yudias has to survive since he's on the season 3 poster and, if my logic with Kuaidul is correct, Yudias's galaxy is the Milky Way and you can't exactly kill that galaxy off and still have a world.
My point here though is that if this logic is correct, then it's not just Velgearians who are dying: it's all life in the galaxies inside of them across the vast universe which humans haven't explored more than a tiny piece of that are dying. More lives than we could ever feasibly comprehend or know are having their lives snuffed out swiftly and prematurely. This goes far beyond just the quote on quote "artificial lives" of the Velgearians. I know the end of all life in the universe is an eventual inevitability and can be considered "just nature" but the way it's been presented in Go Rush with all these fantasy elements, like the reason the Velgearians existing in the first place being the actions of one individual, prevents me from seeing it as "just nature" as Zwijo is apparently claiming.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Creator, from what we know so far at least, has honestly done something sinister and horrific by molding parts of the universe itself and stuffing them into what we know now are mortal, albeit long-living, beings whose lives are flickering out and by extension, seemingly ending the lives inside their galaxies suddenly, pre-maturely and, in my eyes despite Go Rush claiming otherwise, unnaturally.
How much of this the writers intended I have no clue but the more I think about the implications, the more horrified I feel. And I'm not sure what's worse: if the writers did fully think all this through and are permanently killing the Velgearians knowing all this or they didn't think it through and they've just dug a massive hole for themselves.
But why do I think these deaths are permanent in the first place? After all, Yugioh and shounen in general is no stranger to temporary deaths and bringing back characters through whatever means necessary because they want to write dramatic deaths and sacrifices but need to keep the characters around in some form to advertise their cards.
Well, I've seen every Yugioh series twice each and here's every non-evil (or at least not fully evil) duelist character who permanently died. Apologies if I miss a few:
Atem (Freed his spirit by going to the afterlife in the very last episode.)
Daitokuji (Died a villain and a traitor but lingered as a ghost who acted as a guide to Judai at times.)
Roman and Goodwin (Villains who at one point, wanted to do the right thing and were "lead astray." Chose to stay in the afterlife.)
Paradox, Bruno, Aporia, Z-One (Villains whose ultimate motive was trying to prevent a doomed future and in the cases of Bruno, and Z-One (and debatably Aporia), ultimately sacrificed themselves for Yusei to save the future.)
Yuto, Yugo, Yuri, Serena, Rin, and Ruri (Died and became part of Yuya and Yuzu as spirits.)
Haru and Bohman (Honestly just pawns of the pure evil Lightning but believed in their cause to the very end. Were reunited in the afterlife I believe?)
Earth, Windy, Flame, Aqua (Gave up the last of their energy to Ai, permanently killing them. Should be noted that that Flame and Aqua never used their own decks, instead giving them to characters who did live so their cards were still advertised.)
Roboppi (The consciousness that made him who he was permanently dead and gone forever due to being unnaturally given free will.)
So uh... there's some overlap with these deaths and the Velgearian deaths that have occurred in Go Rush so far, particularly the ones who died and didn't come back as ghosts. The VRAINS deaths especially are the most egregious to me since all the temporary deaths (excluding Ai) were human and every single one of the permanent deaths were AIs. They were all an "artificial intelligence". I know these shows were produced by different studios but VRAINS killing all "artificial life" then one of the subsequent shows describing lives that are currently dying in troves as "artificial" is unsettling, especially since VRAINS isn't even an outlier. Fully evil or not, most of the permanent deaths in Gallop Yugioh (that didn't come back as ghosts like the Yu boys/bracelet girls and Daitokuji), were either non human (ie: the AIs in VRAINS) or "gave up their humanity" as part of their evil, like the Stars of Iliaster putting their consciousness inside "artificial" android bodies to extend their lives and carry out their evil.
The way I see it, Go Rush's latest episode claimed that since the Velgearians' lives are eternal and artificial, keeping them alive would be "unnatural" and thus they should accept their deaths. And honestly, in the context of Velgearians, most of whom don't even know that their lives are "artificial," is just horrifying and messed up.
So I hope my aimless overthinking speculation here is wrong. I hope they aren't all permanently dead because it would be a miserable end to their stories. The only thing in my mind that makes me question my own reasoning is not knowing when the Go Rush writers knew for sure they were getting a third season, as I doubt they would've killed all the Velgearians knowing that could've been the final note of their show since the target demographic of the show is still children. Still, I don't know when in production they knew they were getting that third season so again I just can't be sure...

You know, I think the one thing that really, baffles me, about the hate that Ryoken gets (both just the character and in relation to being shipped with, anyone but esp the protag) is that the one main argument I see for why he’s a “bad person” is due to his actions in season 1 the consequences of them had he succeeded.
But like, since WHEN has ‘this character did bad things and hurt/almost hurt innocent people’ ever stopped anyone from liking villains/antagonist in this series or stopped them from shipping them with the protagonist/other characters.
Like, this argument could be used against TONS of different YGO characters(including many of the rival type characters) that I see people drooling over all the time.
Case in point a non comprehensive list (and before anyone thinks I’m trying to say you can’t like these characters, I’m not. In fact *I* like a number of these characters) Also heads up for minor spoilers for all the series since a number of antagonists/villains made this list:
Seto Kaiba: In the manga he was the first villain/antagonist and actually tried to straight up MURDER Yugi and his friends. In the anime this wasn’t present (save for the Toei anime) however he was still, at the very least, a bully who would verbally tear down anyone he saw as ‘beneath him’ (so everyone) and was condescending and belittling and tried to blow up the tower the Battle City finals were in, while people were still in it! We call that manslaughter folks.
Pegasus: Multiple counts of kidnapping and soul stealing
Yami Malik: Killed his own father, attempted murder of Rishid as well as the rest of the cast.
Yami Bakura/Thief King Bakura: The main/end game antagonist of the series. Also in the manga he murdered Pegasus.
Dartz and his Orichalcos group: Mind control, kidnapping, stealing souls, trying to destroy the world. Typical villain fare. Also Dartz fucked up Valon, Rafael and Amelda’s lives and caused many, many deaths.
Takuma Saiou: Literally started a cult and tried to destroy the world (granted he gets a slight pass cause he was being possessed)
Judai Yuki: Commits multiple acts of mass murder as a tyrant king.
Yubel: Possesses multiple people, kidnaps Johan, tries to destroy multiple worlds at once by fusing them together, hurt Judai by hurting his friends.
Jack Atlas: Stole his best friend’s D-Wheel and best card and leaves him and a child out to drown in the ocean as he fucks off to The City.
Kiryu: Nearly killed a man. Joined the Dark Signers and tried to destroy the world.
Placido/Jose/Lucciano/Aporia: The main antagonists of the last half of the series. Attempt to kill various members of the cast at various points in time and their end goal involves the total annihilation of Neo Domino(kill millions/billions to save the world, allegedly). Lucciano nearly kills Rua in their first fight when he’s flung off a bridge and as Aporia attempts to kill Rua, Ruka and Jack during the final arc and actually succeeds causing the death of one of them (for a short time anyways, they get better)
Paradox: Literally travelled back in time to murder Pegasus and also caused the deaths of a number of innocent bystanders in the process.
Any of the Arclight siblings (Chris/Thomas/Michal): Thomas is arguably the worst of them in terms of what he did but they all at various points do pretty awful things (mainly at the behest of their dad). Chris kidnapped Haruto, Thomas was responsible for what happened to Rio, Michal killed Astral (temporarily)
Kaito: Ran around stealing people’s souls to obtain their Numbers cards and just left their soulless bodies lying around.
Any of the Barian Emperors: Like, pick on. Either as a Barian or in their first life they probably did bad things (or in both lives in Vector’s case, who committed mass murder by way of slaughtering his entire country in his past life as well as turning his own allies into puppets/trying to kill them in his Barian life)
Don Thousand: The main villain of the whole damn series who wants to destroy the Astral World, and Earth, basically all life. Also screwed over the lives of the Barian Emperors and his influence on them also indirectly caused the deaths of MILLIONS.
Yuri: Responsible for multiple kidnappings and cardings of innocent people, all things he did very willingly and remorselessly.
Actually just about anyone from Academia’s side of things at some point in time.
Arc V Kaito: Literally went around carding anyone who stood in his way, friend or foe.
Zarc: Again, the end game big bad who literally DID destroy the world, then came together and tried to do it again
Like, I have seen love (and in some cases lust) for literally ALL of these characters (some more than others) and some of them have MASSIVE shipping fan bases and pretty much all these characters were either villains or antagonists at some point in the story. But I rarely-if at all in some cases-see people going ‘you only like X because they’re hot’ or ‘X did all these awful things you shouldn’t like him’ about these characters. And make no mistake, people do like some of these characters cause they think they’re attractive (also, what’s wrong with that anyways? I’m shallow enough to admit I like some characters simply cause they’re really pretty).
Interestingly, Ryoken, esp in the first season, fits the definition for an anti-villain (like the opposite of an anti-hero) more than he does just straight villain (at least once we get context for his actions)
‘...a character with heroic goals, personality traits, and/or virtues who is ultimately villainous. Their desired ends are mostly good, but their means of getting there are evil.’
-TVTropes
Which is, basically what S1 Ryoken was doing, though mostly at the whims of his father. He wanted to destroy the Ignis in order to save humanity, it’s just when the first few attempts failed, he went along with his father’s final, last ditch effort to deal with them which was the Tower of Hanoi (and make no mistake, the Tower was 100% Dr. Kogami’s idea, Ryoken went along with it cause, family loyalty). The results might kill a great number of people, but if it destroyed the Ignis then it would ultimately save even more in the long run. A heroic goal (saving humanity) with a not so heroic way of getting there (nuking the internet and potentially causing a massive loss of life in the process).
I’m not saying you have to like him, god knows I dislike a number a characters, including some of the ones mentioned here, but like, it just feels like a weird double standard to use these arguments against Ryoken, but never on any of these other characters. Or at least not to the same extent that they’re used on him.
And this is just YuGiOh characters. I can 100% guarantee you that there are characters in other series that have far worse things than Ryoken ever did that are massively loved/praised by their fandoms (and also got redemption arcs). Vegeta is the first one to come to mind (and he *actually* killed people).

Hey, I think I remember you playing meklords with placido in duel links, right? How does that go? No, really, genuinely asking, I imagined that being a painful deck to play nowadays (maybe there was a buff or something I'm forgetting about?) but I also never see anyone play it if I'm being honest so no comment
I MEAN it's like. not meta anymore by any means but I still think theyre fun as fuck to play and theyre my favorite deck ever 🤷‍♀️ ❤ ive been running meklords on primo and aporia siiiiiince about september 2022?? JESUS. WOW. TIME. ANYWAY they handle better than I imagine they'd handle in actual today tcg mostly cuz their main skill is still a massive boon
Tumblr media
it's of course not perfect especially as more and more hand traps get added to DL BUT it makes it a hell of a lot easier to get Meklord Astro Dragon Treskelion out on the field and once you get that sucker out it can go for game prrrobably over half the time. i also run a bunch of Xyz in my extra deck that give me more options too, like Super Quantal Mech King Great Magnus :3
tl;dr i aint really getting to KOG with 'em anytime soon BUT to me theyre still a ton of fun to play and when you get that Wisel Synchro Absorption to go off without a hitch you feel like a goddamn god. this remains one of my favorite replays
DONT FUCK WITH MY WHITE MIDSIZED SEDAN !!!!

OLD MAN MOMENT ‼
First impression: *playing Primo's DL event during like May 2021* "oh ok so he's associated with like two other guys--WHY IS THAT ONE SO BIG?? IS. IS HE FUCKING RUNNING DOWN THE RACETRACK?? HOLY SHIT."
Impression now:
Tumblr media
Jakobjose is definitely like. one of the scariest Yugioh characters to me by like leaps and bounds, Jakob scares the shit out of me absolute gijinka of being stuck in a room with an older male relative who is frustrated with a task. he's like 9 feet tall and jacked and can kill people with his bare hands. He's so cold and acts so erratically that EVEN APORIA. THE GUY HE IS A CHUNK OF. IS UPSET WITH HIM. AND PHYSICALLY ATTACKS HIM. IN TAG FORCE 6. HE IS SUCH A FUCKED UP DUDE. IF Z-ONE HAD JUST MADE THREE JAKOBS HE WOULD HAVE WON.
Favorite moment: When he starts running down that fucking duel track I do just start shriek cackling. Absolute best and funniest idea for a 5Ds character. And then he turns into a bike. good god.
Idea for a story: thinking a lot about little Vignettes of the Three Emperors over the course of the implied Very Long Time they have been "alive," the way the vitriol between them has simmered for Years and Years. It is basically fucking canon that Jakob Fucking Hates Lester and Primo and if i think too much about how that came up and also the. Full Lore. with them. i feel like i may faint. GOD.
Unpopular opinion: he gets overshadowed by Primo in the fandom but he is a fuckin great character in his own right. He's a massive old cunt and he's terrifying and i love him.
Favorite relationship: gotta go with his weird one-sided religious fixation on the Emperors' "god" (yknow. Z-one.) Jakob talks constantly what is and isnt the will of the divine and how his own outrageous actions are what their God would decree and it makes me fucking INSANE. IS THIS WHAT OLD DYING APORIA WANTED?? IS IT??!?!
Favorite headcanon: Neurodivergent win! This giant man who can crush your throat with one hand is autistic! He would love those like 4 hour long History channel war documentaries too. I know this to be true. I also like to think he's got them big ol sharp Aporia teeth under his mouth mask apparatus.
