are the artists not even given settei with fetailed instructions on how to draw them? do they just draw based off other official art?

of course they do lol like i’ve seen the mangaka occasionally mention notes and even corrections (one of the bonus content for dhbat manga has the artist saying their notes remind them to not draw kuukou’s eyes too big lmao)

it’s just that jakurai’s hair has to be as long as it needs to be to make him look as ethereal as possible that’s it that’s probably the note lol. his hair is that long even in something as recent as the 5th anniversary art
