Background/Other Info:

grew up primarily loved by their bio parents, up until the age of 11, where their bio father dies, and Zadem comes in to take care of Marium, who later dies of an illness cause seemingly caused by their depression (or at least, that’s what their doctor says)

Asta, due to the recent deaths of their parents, runs away to Vesuvia. But they stay in contact with Zadem, through letters

Meets asra at the age of 13, and the story goes on the canonical route

Fun fact: They're family is very mixed, but their father's side is very Irish!----And yes, they absolutely gained the accent

Character HCs & History:

Astarium, also known as Asta, grew up in prakra; they primarily lived directly next to star lakes. Their parents primarily worked with astrology and water magic, but Asta gained a talent for combining the two. When exhausted, their face lights up like little stars, however, despite its beautiful effect, when touched they can give burns.  Asta grew up loved by their parents, when sick, Asta gained a special way of healing them, but, when the diseases had caught up to their ‘father’, Larik, their healing power was not enough, and they lost them the next year. Asta’s mother, despite being strong winded and determined when faced with Larik’s illness, Marium gains ill when he passes, not being able to handle it. Zadem, previously just a friend, immediately rushes to take care of Marium and Asta. Asta, just being an 11 year old child, can’t mentally cope and runs away due to the fear of abandonment, worrying both Zadem and their mother will die. Asta, meets asra at 15 and primarily stays with him until the canon events of the game, but unlike the canon events, asta doesn’t die from the plague for a while and runs back to prakra to attempt to find Zadem. They die over a year later, right about the time Lucio dies himself. Asra, being mistaken and thinking asta was dead, revives them right after they die, causing them to not only remember most of the events, but hate him for his primary relationship with julian that occurs. But this hatred generally fuels down considering in canon they get with either Julian or Asra. Though, while remembering the events of being left for dead, asta still can’t function properly and needs help remembering basic things, (talking, walking, writing, etc.) Asta, about 4 years (the year right after they take back the fool’s body against lucio) Asta gets in a major fight with Asra revealing they knew exactly what Julian and him had done and now they wish they would’ve stayed in their grave. Unlike the canonical MC, Asta hated being revived, they feel empty like they’re missing a part of themself and they don’t know how to properly be themselves anymore. Asta travels back to Zadith as an attempt to find a home ground. They commonly can be found stealing basic food and they have a bad habit of running into pirates.

Bad habit of biting their tongue when their upset, it’s made them bleed before and they never stop themself in time

Little picky with food, they feel bad so they won’t say so but you might find the food in the garbage later

Expresses most their feelings with magic, their not necessarily, good at using words, so they feel better showing it with their magic

Can heal and create shields from their magic, in canon during asra’s route they do learn how to make weapons with it

When angry, they have a tendency to lose control a bit, hope you can dodge cause they will throw stars at yours ass

They’ve never grown to know the full extent of their magic, while still be young, they don’t completely know how they work

Has a LOT of enemies,when they were younger, they stole A LOT, harbering the stuff so they could pay for food.

They’re quite sneaky.

Sometimes makes deals with pirates to get rides, no matter if it puts them in danger

One key one that's lore accurate is the anatomical heart they have with the words "till death do us part" underneath their chest. Even though Astarium gains Asra's heart in return for life once again, its not of their own doing or consent, therefore the ink that might've bound their relationship seems to have sufficed; Death had parted them, and for Astarium, that was permanent. {unless they get with them later on depending on the storyline, but still, point made}

Asta is shipped with all the Main 6, and other of the side characters, such as Selasi (love bread man), Nahara, nafizah, and nazali

Considering they are queer, they are open to any pairing, not limited by age gaps either, they don't have a problem with dating someone older. (yes, please I beg of you, if you would like to ship them with a character of yours---arcana universe or not---please just ask)

to love or not to love. that is their question. the duke and duchess of canterlot, some of the dying breeds of royalty that once ruled in high order of the empire. before they were once mighty steeds who rose high and hoof to powers, and washed out any kind of rebellion, hostility, or uprising from their subjects.

blueblood today is the descendent of many white coated stallions who took on these very tasks, and holds to his position as part of the judiciary sectors of canterlot. dukes and duchesses today now reside in their titles as either council members of luna or celestia’s court, or financial backers of the empire. both of which allow status and prestige kept to their houses.

louise blueblood the III, son of duke louise blueblood the II and duchess maribelle “morning” glory. the heir to their fortune, and hot mess of the capital. blueblood has always had a charming air about him, but unfortunate it’s only brought him trouble. as throughout each and every one of his partnerships and marriages, he has found himself scrapping back to bachelor status. thankfully now, he has managed a somewhat presentable reputation by getting together with the duchess, susie saddles.

these two are a bit of an odd couple, no matter where they go. there always seems to be a dissonance between them. but regardless. they somehow manage to seem almost functional together? susie, also known as sassy, is a financial backer for the monarchy. and is rewarded by status from the throne, but at one point, the saddles house was widely renowned for their innovative ability to design and organize.

unfortunately, since their company, central saddles inc. has gone under. they’ve lost quite a bit of their money. so they’ve become more silent funders for their country. and even then, they begin to waver in their contributions.

cut to sassy, who yearns to once again have that prestige and power amongst her fellow royals. from what once was something to be feared and respected , is now only a hushed whisper and rumor among the upper crust. with her decision to marry blueblood being a calculated one, sassy begins her clawing back to the top. even if that means a loveless marriage, and various cheating scandals . she could careless. as one day, she will stand alongside the royalty she idolized. and smile bright at her very presence being recognized as strength.

blueblood seeks love and affirmation, yet covers himself in layers of pride too thick to pierce. while sassy, who markets herself as strong and confident, busies herself with anything but the idea love.

fun facts about royal houses in equestria!

- coat and mane color was a heavily valued part of bloodline recognition. most notably; a pristine white coat to represent purity, and deep colored manes to represent beauty and wealth.

- some families were even particularly noticeable based on their mane length and pattern. the blueblood family was recognized by their mane roots reach down to almost the center of their backs. while the saddles were noted for their tail manes budding right above where the tail begins.

- sassy is the product of an affair, her sister flaming saddles (now known as fire flare) is her half sister. their father, brazen saddles, is the head of house. and currently seeks to disappear from even the eye of royalty, and recluse into private life. but that does seem to be in the cards for their family.

married beneath the blooming apple trees of apple acres, blueblood and applejack were declared to each other their love and wholehearted devotion. these two were young lovers, who were destined a fairy tale ending. said by all those around them as they sweetly gazed into each other’s eyes. a sugary end that was meant to be all sunshine and rainbows,,,but that wasn’t exactly what was really entitled to them.

blueblood met aj when his adoptive aunt sent him to apple acres in order to “straighten him up” a little. and aj did indeed do that, quite a lot. and that kind of no-nonsense attitude struck a chord with the duke, especially since all her words seemed genuine instead of seeming to have any sort of secondary intention to ‘em. 

the two butted heads for quite a while, but after some time. they really started to click, and their routine fell into place. wake up, eat, work together, be together, eat, sleep. and both grew a strong fondness of this part of their lives. so much so, that they decided to take a chance on it. together. and those on the outside were amused by this pure-esc love. and foresaw many good things for the both of them, except, that wasn’t quite what happened.

"I have not, nor do I plan to visit other dimensions. I do, however, know Deaths from other universes, such as the ones from U-GHS-217 and U-GBM-187.

"Though, I doubt any sort of containment would do much good. We've created a dummy universe for it once before, but it got corrupted just as well as any other universe. I'm sure even a single bit of it could render whatever devices you may use impossible to contain."
