One of the best parts of the Apollo Justice game is the absurdity of the situation Apollo is in. Imagine you get hired by Frankie Jonas (you have no idea who the Jonas brothers are) and get asked to defend a local disbarred lawyer (who you do know). That disbarred lawyer adopted Criss Angel's daughter after he disappeared. Frankie Jonas killed Criss Angel. Two months later you find out you're going up against Joe Jonas in court and you haven't even heard Cake By The Ocean. Your client is a member of the LA mafia.
The next case you're on is a murder at Joe Jonas' concert, which you were invited to by him. His guest act was Björk, who unbeknownst to you is your mother. Also the mother of Criss Angel's daughter. But your father is not Criss Angel, it's Sufjan Stevens (deceased). The murderer of Björk's manager was Joe Jonas' bandmate JinJoo Lee.
The game culminates in David Blaine (who was in love with your mom, Björk) confessing to framing Criss Angel for David Copperfield's (your grandfather) suicide, and Frankie Jonas admitting that he has committed a second murder. And your new boss has been working with Interpol or some shit for the last seven years to take Frankie Jonas down and get his badge back.

AU Winx Club Next-Gen Guide
Since I made a guide for my main next-gen universe earlier, I thought I would go ahead and make a guide for my AU next-gen universe too! :3 That way it can have an official list instead of the WiP/concept lists before lol. Since I won't be adding anymore characters to this universe(unless I can think of good side/crackships to add to it with remaining characters lol), it is pretty much 'finished'/filled in a sense. I just need to draw everyone out(besides the few I doodled before), but I have other projects to work on so that will have to come at a later date(but hopefully sometime within the upcoming/summer months). Until then, I hope you enjoy! :D

What to watch during the ongoing WGA strike
As the WGA strike keeps going, put the pressure where it belongs: on big companies, not the writers working for better conditions.
While we wait for new content (after an equitable agreement), here are some lesser-known movies, along with the (US) streaming services where they can be found. Feel free to add on with a title, short description, and where it can be found!
(Television show version here!)
Films listed under the cut!
Netflix:
The Gray Man (2022) - Rated R. A CIA spook known only as Sierra Six (Ryan Gosling) is assigned to kill a former Sierra member... only to find himself at the center of a conspiracy. At the same time, he becomes the target of a sadistic ex-CIA mercenary (Chris Evans).
Genre: Action/thriller. There are likely to be more Gray Man films coming in the near future, along with a television show based on Chris Evans's chillingly villainous Lloyd Hansen.
Rocky (1976) - Rated PG. Rocky (Sylvester Stallone) is a washed-up boxer who works as a Mafia enforcer. He gets an unexpected chance at glory when boxer Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers) wants to fight an unknown.
Genre: Drama/sports. If you don't know the story behind Rocky, it's almost as good as the movie itself!
The Imitation Game (2014) - Rated PG-13. The story of Alan Turing (Benedict Cumberbatch), particularly his work in World War II to decode Enigma transmissions intercepted from the Axis powers.
Genre: Biographical drama. The Imitation Game is the story of Alan Turing's life, both triumphs and tragedies. It contains themes of hidden homosexuality, cruel and unusual punishment, and suicide.
Max:
Triple Frontier (2019) - Rated R. An ex-Delta Force soldier (Oscar Isaac) asks his prior teammates to come on one final mission, with the promise of an incredible payout.
Genre: Action/adventure. Triple Frontier is a typical action/adventure movie with some interesting effects and a cast (Isaac, Ben Affleck, Pedro Pascal, Charlie Hunnam, and Garrett Hedlund) that elevates it a little further.
Parasite (2019) - Rated R. The Kim family struggles to make ends meet until Ki-woo is referred to tutor a rich teenager. Through manipulation and daring, the entire Kim family ends up employed by the unknowing Park family.
Genre: Black comedy/thriller. Full of fascinating dynamics and an interesting look at divisions of wealth in South Korea, it's clear to see why Parasite gained such acclaim.
Casablanca (1942) - Rated PG. Casablanca, Morocco is a popular departure point for people fleeing the Nazis. Jaded nightclub owner Rick Blaine (Humphrey Bogart) must decide whether to risk his life to help his ex (Ingrid Bergman) and her husband escape.
Genre: Romance/drama. Casablanca is considered by many to be the greatest movie ever made. If you haven't seen it, try it. Keep an eye out for dry humor and the way the director uses shadows to keep the black and white film interesting!
Ex Machina (2014) - Rated R. Caleb Smith (Domhnall Gleeson) wins an office lottery to help the company's CEO (Oscar Isaac) test his new AI (Alicia Vikander).
Genre: Sci-fi/psychological thriller. With incredible effects, a labyrinthine plot, and uncomfortable questions about what makes us human, it's easy to see why Ex Machina is considered one of the best sci-fi films of the last decade.
Hulu:
The Last Action Hero (1993) - Rated PG-13. Film fan Danny (Austin O'Brien) goes to see the latest in his favorite franchise, he finds himself pulled into the movie, working alongside his hero Jack Slater (Arnold Schwarzeneggar).
Genre: Fantasy/action/satire. Think of every action trope you associate with Arnold Schwarzeneggar, mix it with a vibe like Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and add some self-aware humor, and you have The Last Action Hero. This is not a popular film among internet aggregators, but I enjoyed it!
Palm Springs (2020) - Rated R. Reluctant maid of honor Sarah (Cristin Milioti) is fascinated by a wedding guest (Andy Samberg) who seems to know more than he should. When she follows him from the wedding, she finds herself stuck with him in a time loop.
Genre: Sci-fi/rom-com. Though Palm Springs has some real COVID-19 quarantine vibes, the plot keeps it from feeling like a time capsule.
Whiplash (2014) - Rated R. Talented drummer Andrew Neiman (Miles Teller) is identified for an elite jazz band by sadistic and manipulative conductor Terence Fletcher (J.K. Simmons).
Genre: Drama. Though Whiplash is not a horror movie, it is partially produced by Blumhouse Productions. That darkness really shines through in Fletcher's abusive behavior.
Role Models (2008) - Rated R. After a disastrous, drunken day at work, Danny (Paul Rudd) is assigned community service in a big brother program. He is assigned to awkward teenager Augie (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) and accompanies him during his favorite activity: LARPing.
Genre: Humor. Though Role Models can get a little close to cringe comedy, it's got enough genuine humor and heart to get away with it... and even be a little sweet.
Amazon Prime:
The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014) - Rated R. An author tells the story of Zero Moustafa (Tony Revolori), the owner of a once-grand hotel in the former country of Zubrowka, using several frame stories.
Genre: Drama. Wes Anderson's films have a very characteristic style. The Grand Budapest Hotel features stunning sets, a ton of cameos, and enough quirky humor to keep you entertained!
Hot Fuzz (2007) - Rated R. London police officer Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg) is reassigned to the small town of Sandford. He's frustrated by the small town at first, but a string of murders make him suspect something more is going on...
Genre: Action/comedy. Hot Fuzz is the second installment of the Cornetto Trilogy. It is a satirical look at the cop film genre - and thus has a lot of overdramatic violence - but it manages to stand on its own at the same time.
Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989) - Rated PG. Bill (Alex Winter) and Ted (Keanu Reeves) are two teens more interested in their band than their studies. But if they don't pass their history final, Ted will be sent to military school. A mysterious stranger gives them a time machine, sending them off to write the best essay of all time!
Genre: Comedy/sci-fi. If you're used to Keanu Reeves as a broody hero, you're in for a shock and a treat to see him at his surfer/stoner/slacker best!
The Iron Giant (1999) - Rated PG. In 1957, 9-year-old Hogarth Hughes finds a 50-foot tall robot in the woods. He befriends the giant and the two work to evade the government, who suspect it is an attack on the United States.
Genre: Family/adventure. The Iron Giant is one of the most recognizable and emotional animated films of the 1990s - extra impressive considering it's a Warner Bros film that came out in the middle of the Disney Renaissance!
Disney+
The Boondock Saints (1999) - Rated R. Irish Catholic brothers Connor (Sean Patrick Flanery) and Murphy (Norman Reedus) living in 1990s Boston are sick of the crime on the streets. They decide to take matters into their own hands.
Genre: Crime/drama. The Boondock Saints has low scores on almost every film aggregator site, but is widely considered a cult classic. (Edit: warnings for insensitive portrayal of homosexuality and transgenderism.)
Feel free to reblog this and add your own lesser-known film suggestions! Support the WGA strike!
The Reluctant Dragon (1941) - Rated G. Robert Benchley wants to sell a movie idea to Walt Disney. As he searches for Walt, he wanders through the studio and sees how many of the magical movie effects are done.
Genre: Family/fantasy. I'll admit, this film was included on purpose. Not because it's amazing (it's interesting at best), but because of the story behind it. The Reluctant Dragon was released three weeks after the majority of the animators went on strike. (And most of the "workers" in the film are actually actors, another sore spot.) Disney fired all of the strikers before eventually agreeing to let them unionize and rehiring those who wished to return. (You can read more about the strike here.)

Messy thoughts on Percy Jackson inspired Seblaine AU because I just saw the episodes (but also be warned it’s been a long time since I’ve read the books).
Probably have either high school or even college be the time when demigods gain too much attention and need to head for sanctuary (Dalton?).
To Blaine this new world isn’t much of a surprise – Cooper was ahead of him, gaining all the glory and titles and records, and not managing to keep any secrets. Blaine has every intention of gaining his own glory so his father will pay attention to him but it… doesn’t go as well as he’d hope. As for their lineage, I’d probably go for Apollo for their father as the god of music and dance, but also Zeus would be fun too because that’d put a hard ‘Chosen One’ spotlight on Blaine (except even then he’d still be in Cooper’s shadow~).
Sebastian is trickier. So many options, all of them fun. - Athena, for strategy and logic (and coupled with a desire to WIN). He’d instantly identify Blaine as someone to pay attention to (and if Blaine has Power then there’s always going to be that question in Blaine’s mind if Sebastian actually likes him or is just planning to use him…) - Hermes would be good too, for wit and politics and diplomacy. Bonus fun, Sebastian didn’t know about his lineage until he arrives at camp and discovers he has like a dozen step-siblings and suddenly he’s not the only (spoiled) child anymore and it gives him a complex. - Aphrodite, but comes across as a bit shallow (constantly complimenting Blaine on his looks), and Blaine makes him realize he wants to dig deeper than surface level pleasure and find something real (and when he does, he goes DEEP). - Dionysus, because I think it’d be hilarious if Sebastian was basically in charge of all parties on campus. Similar to Aphrodite, the storyline would be something along the lines of Sebastian needing to discover he can do more/be more than what people have expected from him.
No plot only vibes. It was a fun background daydream when watching the show

Okay wait so I'm confused lol. You draw him with different people a lot, so who's he /actually/ with?
im assuming you mean like relationships uuuhm
so technically speaking in "canon" hes with this loser
but sometimes i put him with them
(character belongs to @a-stick04 !)
or these guys
the point is ive drawn him with a lot of guys in my spare time and thats because the media hes from is very open ended on the relationship front
its a dating sim at its base form so the reality is anyone the player is could potentially be his partner
so i just draw him with whoever i like the best at the moment really

Suggestions for the pjo au (feel free not to use these): I think Heather should be the kid of a minor god and be bitter about it. Maybe Nemesis? I think DJ could be a Persephone kid, and if Trent isn't an Apollo kid his mum could be one of the muses? Katie and Sadie would probably have twinning parents, maybe also the muses? Gwen and Duncan as kids of Zeus would be funny ngl you're right, especially if Zeus is Chris lol (does that make Chef Hera or Ganymede? Is Blainely Hera?) Eva is definitely a child of Ares or Enyo or some similar god, and I think you're spot on with Noah as an Athena child. Tbh Izzy could be anything, I thought maybe Dionysus as a godly parent just because her and Geoff as siblings would be funny, but she could also be a nymph, centaur, satyr or a dryad or smth. Justin, Lindsay, Beth and Alejandro could all be Aphrodite kids, I think Justin could be head counselor before Alejandro shows up and they have beef lol. Tyler could be a Hebe kid and that's the only reason he's still alive lol, Harold Cody and Ezekiel could all be Hermes kids, Bridgette could be the kid of some sea god like Oceanus or Kympoleia? I'm kind of stuck on Owen, Sierra and Leshawna but if I'd have to say then Leshawna Demeter, Owen Hypnos cause of his wacky dreams and Sierra Athena cause she can weave. You can probably tell I have spent ages thinking about this before lol, anyway good night/day :)
these are all really really fucking good anon i am so glad you sent this. definitely gonna be considering some of these 👍

I know I'm probably a weirdo for this, but one day I got to thinking, what if Pokemon was lingually accurate? Like, if characters were named appropriately based on their region? So I actually went through Bulbapedia and compiled a list of every major character's names in other languages. And just in case anyone else was curious, I thought I'd share it.
I'm going from the English base, so I'm majorly not including Unova, Galar, and most of Alola. Ones that are weird or are migrants I give explanations for.
Kanto: Japanese
Red: Same in English and Japanese
Leaf: Same in English and Japanese
Blue: Technically referred to as Green in Japanese since the original games were Red and Green (hence remakes being FireRed and LeafGreen), but is considered Blue internationally and it makes more sense to me (Red picks Charmander, rival picks Squirtle to be better, thus Blue).
Kakeru (Chase)
Ayumi (Elaine)
Shin (Trace)
Takeshi (Brock)
Kasumi (Misty)
Lt. Surge: His original title is "The Lightning American" and there's a whole tribute gym to his in Alola, so it's very likely he's from an America-inspired region, thus English name.
Erika: Same in English and Japanese
Kyou (Koga)
Anzu (Janine)
Natsume (Sabrina)
Katsura (Blaine)
Kanna (Lorelei)
Siba (Bruno)
Kikuko (Agatha)
Wataru (Lance)
Rocket-dan (Team Rocket): Literally written in katakana "ro-ke-t(su)-to"
Sakaki (Giovanni)
Ohkido Yukinari-hakase (Professor Samuel Oak)
Johto: Japanese
Hibiki (Ethan)
Kris: Same in English and Japanese
Kotone (Lyra)
Silver: Same in English and Japanese
Hayato (Falkner)
Tsukushi (Bugsy)
Akane (Whitney)
Matsuba (Morty)
Shijima (Chuck)
Mikan (Jasmine)
Yanagi (Pryce)
Ibuki (Clair)
Itsuki (Will)
Karin (Karen)
Minaki (Eusine)
Apollo (Archer)
Athena (Arianna)
Lambda (Petrel)
Lance (Proton): Yes, this is confusing with the Indigo Champion's English name being Lance.
Utsugi-hakase (Professor Elm)
Hoenn: Japanese
Yuuki (Brendan)
Haruka (May)
Mitsuru (Wally)
Tsutsuji (Roxanne)
Touki (Brawly)
Tessen (Wattson)
Asuna (Flannery)
Senri (Norman)
Nagi (Winona)
Fū (Tate)
Lan (Liza)
Juan: His Japanese name is Adan, but he uses different foreign words by localization (English in Japanese, Spanish in Viz's anime dub, and French in the Adventures manga's translation) so is likely foreign. Juan is his name in English, German, and French.
Mikuri (Wallace) Rune no Tami (Sootopolitan)
Kagetsu (Sidney)
Fuyou (Phoebe)
Glacia: Her name in Japanese is Prim, but she's implied to be from a more Western-based region. Glacia is her name in both English and French.
Genji (Drake)
Tsuwabuki Daigo (Steven Stone)
Datsura (Noland) Factory Head: Same in English and Japanese
Kogomi (Greta) Arena Captain (Arena Tycoon)
Tucker: Implied to be foreign, especially as his Japanese name is Heath. Tucker is his English name, and most other Romantic translations are loosely similar and come from the respective languages' word for "tactics". Dome Superstar (Dome Ace)
Azami (Lucy) Tube Queen (Pike Queen)
Ukon (Spenser) Palace Guardian (Palace Maven)
Jindai (Brandon) Pyramid King: Same in English and Japanese
Lila (Anabel) Tower Tycoon (Salon Maiden)
Higana (Zinnia) Denshousha (Lorekeeper)
Lutia (Lisia) Lutti (Lissi)
Tylulu (Ali): Lisia's Altaria
Magma-dan (Team Magma): Literally written in katakana "ma-gu-ma"
Matsubusa (Maxie)
Kagari (Courtney)
Homura (Tabitha)
Aqua-dan (Team Aqua): Literally written in katakana "a-ku-a"
Aogiri (Archie)
Ushio (Matt)
Izumi (Shelly)
Odomaki-hakase (Professor Birch)
Sinnoh: Japanese
Kouki (Lucas)
Hikari (Dawn)
Jun (Barry)
Hyouta (Roark)
Natane (Gardenia)
Sumomo (Maylene)
Maximum Mask (Crasher Wake): Maybe a little more clearly than the English name, it's a stage name and his real name is unknown. He's called "Maxi" for short, so it could just be that.
Fantina or Kiméra: Her name in Japanese is Melissa, which is a clearly Western name along with using foreign phrases. The difficulty here is in original Japanese (as well as French, logically) she speaks English, while most other localizations she speaks French. Fantina is her name in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Kiméra is her name in French.
Suzuna (Candice)
Denzi (Volkner)
Ryou (Aaron)
Kikuno (Bertha)
Ōba (Flint)
Goyou (Lucian)
Shirona (Cynthia)
Kurotsugu (Palmer) Tower Tycoon: Same in English and Japanese
Neziki (Thorton) Factory Head: Same in English and Japanese
Dahlia: Same in English and Japanese Roulette Goddess (Arcade Star)
Kokuran (Darach): His Lady may be likely Unovan, but his lineage is never specified and he seems to have a Hisuian ancestor, so him being from Sinnoh is likely, hence Japanese name. Castle Butler (Castle Valet)
Argenta or Kate: Kate is her name in Japanese and is clearly Western. Argenta is her name in English, German, and Spanish. Stage Madonna (Hall Matron)
Momi (Cheryl)
Gen (Riley)
Baku (Buck)
Miru (Mira)
Mai (Marley)
Looker: Honestly, I just prefer Looker because it seems smoother to say as a codename than his Japanese codename which is Handsome. Looker also has the double meaning that Handsome doesn't, like he's looking/watching, because he's a detective. Looker is also his name in Portuguese, and sometimes in German, Spanish, and Italian. Every one of his codenames is a reference to his appearance ex. LeBelle in German and Beladonis in French.
Ginga-dan (Team Galaxy)
Akagi (Cyrus)
Mars: Same in English and Japanese
Jupiter: Same in English and Japanese
Saturn: Same in English and Japanese
Pluto (Charon)
Nanakamado-hakase (Professor Rowan)
Hisui: Japanese
Teru (Rei) Chō satai (Survey Corps' (Trainer class))
Shō (Akari) Chō satai (Survey Corps' (Trainer class))
Ginga-dan (Galaxy Expedition Team): Shares it's name with the modern Team Galaxy in Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, and Italian.
Kamado or Denboku: His original home region is unknown and he bears Galarian armor that looks strikingly similar to Kalosian Wikstrom. Denboku is from raidenboku, an alternate reading of the Japanese rowan, nanakamado, which is Rowan's Japanese name. Kamado also comes from nanakamado.
Shimaboshi (Cyllene): She is originally from Hoenn, but Hoenn is also Japanese so that means nothing for her name.
Perilla (Zisu) Keibi-tai (Security Corps)
Kine (Pesselle) Iryō-tai (Medical Corps)
Tao Hua: Same in English and Japanese Seizō-tai (Supply Corps)
Sazanka (Sanqua) Kenchiku-tai (Construction Corps)
Nabana (Colza): His original region is apparently unknown, but Japanese is still a safe bet. Also most other localizations stem from Nabana rather than Colza. Hatasaku-tai (Agriculture Corps)
Haku (Rye) Hatasaku-tai (Agriculture Corps)
Mube (Beni): His home region is apparently unknown, but Japanese is a safe bet. Imozuru-tei (The Wallflower): [directly from Bulbapedia] From imozuru (vines of Japanese mountain yam or sweet potato), Mitsuru (Wally), and tei (common suffix in restaurant names)
Taisai (Choy)
Sharon (Anthe): Oddly, Sharon is her Japanese name.
Kongō-dan (Diamond Clan)
Seki (Adaman) Osa (Clan Leader)
Yone (Mai) Captain (Warden)
Hinatsu (Arezu) Captain (Warden)
Susuki (Iscan) Captain (Warden)
Tsubaki (Melli) Captain (Warden)

Omatsu (Charm) Yatō (Bandit)
Otake (Clover) Yatō (Bandit)
Oume (Coin) Yatō (Bandit)
Ichō Shōkai (Ginkgo Guild)
Ginnan (Ginter)
Tsuiri (Tuli)
Volo: Same in English and Japanese Pokemon Tsukai (Pokemon Wielder)
Cogito (Cogita): She is a whole ass mystery, but Cogita (her name in English and German) is just a (non-existent) feminine form of Cogito, her Japanese name, which comes from Latin and basically means "I think", as in Decaretes' "cogito, ergo sum" or "I think, therefore I am". French and Chinese use the respective language's variation of the phrase as a base for her name, while Spanish and Italian use Greek words, for "wisdom" and "intelligence" respectively.
Professor Laventon: He's Galarian, so his name is English.
Unova: English The only ones I'm doing here are ones that AREN'T necessarily the English version.
Clay or Yakon: I've heard Clay may play on Japanese businessman tropes, and he has an ancestor in Hisui, so his name could be either of these.
Lacey or Taro: As Clay's daughter, her situation is the same as his.
Cyrano or Mirtilo: English and Spanish names respectively. Lives in Unova, but as Clavel's classmate could be from Paldea maybe? Saffron or Milo: As above
Kalos: French
Kalem (Calem)
Serena: Same in English and French
Sannah (Shauna)
Trevor: Same in English and French
Tierno: Same in English and French
Violette (Viola)
Lino (Grant)
Cornélia (Korrina) Héritière (Successor)
Amaro (Ramos)
Lem (Clemont)
Mache (Valerie): Mache is actually originally from Johto, hence her Japanese name.
Astera (Olympia)
Urup (Wulfric): Given he likely has a Hisuian ancestor, it wouldn't be unlikely for his name to be Japanese. Luckily, his Japanese and French names are the same!
Malva: Same in English and French
Narcisse (Siebold)
Wikstrom or Thyméo: Since we know his armor is likely Galarian his English name isn't out of place, but his French name is Thyméo.
Dracéna (Drasna)
Dianthéa (Diantha) Grande-Duchesse (Grand Duchess)
Aurore (Morgan)
Méridia (Dana)
Vesper (Evelyn)
Nix (Nita)
Millie (Emma) Elili (Essentia) Femme Louche (Suspicious Woman) Enfant Louche (Suspicious Child) Jeune Femme Louche (Suspicious Lady)
Gribouille (Mimi): Millie's Espurr friend
Team Flare: Apparently the same in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
Lysandre: Same in English and French
Ancolie (Aliana)
Brasénie (Bryony)
Cyane (Celosia)
Myosotis (Mable)
Xanthin (Xerosic)
Professeur Platane (Professor Sycamore): Somewhat surprisingly, his Japanese and French names are the same, though they do both originate from the French word platane.
Alola: English Hawaii is an American state, and there isn't a Native Hawaiian translation of the games, so English is the default language here. But Hawaii does have ties to the East, so I will use some of the Japanese names if they make more sense to me. Most are just slight spelling changes anyhow.
Yo (Elio): Moved from Kanto to Alola, so Japanese name.
Mizuki (Selene): Moved from Kanto to Alola, so Japanese name.
Ma'o (Mallow): Technically her Japanese name is just Mao, but ma'o is the Hawaiian word for Hawaiian cotton and I feel spelling it that way feels better.
Sophocles or Māmane: Both names after the same plant, the Sophora chrysophylla, it's common and local Hawaiian name being māmane.
Hapu'u (Hapu): Hapu'u is her name in Japanese and comes from hāpuʻu, the Hawaaian tree fern.
Molayne or Mullein: Molayne is just a different spelling tbh and I kinda think it looks better.
Skipping Galar; there aren't really a lot of clear foreigners besides Kabu whose name is the same.
Paldea: Spanish and Portuguese I look at both languages because Paldea is based on the Iberian Peninsula and not just Spain. However, with Portuguese, I'm having to look at Brazilian Portuguese, which is not quite the same as European Portuguese, because that's almost all that's on Bulbapedia. I generally choose whether to use Spanish or Portuguese based on if said name is also the same as the English and/or Japanese name. Or default if only one is available. Also uhh my order might be a bit weird here because I didn't get to actually play these games. I kinda assumed you go through the teachers before Gym Leaders, so...yeah. I can re-order it later if that's wrong or confusing.
Florian: From an unknown region, but the same in English, German, Spanish, French, and Italian.
Juliana: From an unknown region, but the same in English, German, Spanish, French, and Italian.
Nemo(?): She is noted to not be from Paldea but her home isn't specified so it could be anything. Nemona is her name in English and E. Portuguese, Nemo in Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, and Thai, Noêmia in B. Portuguese, Nemila in German, Nemola in Indonesian, and Nemi in Italian. The odd ones out are Mencía in Spanish and Menzi in French.
Arven: Same in English and B. Portuguese
Academia Naranja (Naranja Academy)
Academia Uva (Uva Academy)
Miriam: Same in English and B. Portuguese
Saguaro: Same in English, Japanese, and B. Portuguese (as well as German and French)
Dendra: Same in English and B. Portuguese
Cloe or Mora (Raifort): Cloe is her name in Spanish, and Mora is her name in French, which I only include because her English/Japanese name Raifort is from the French word for horseradish apparently, so maybe she's Kalosian.
Silvio (Salvatore)
Mila (Tyme)
Jacques (Jacq): The B. Portuguese name as it's closer to his English name. His Spanish name is Cinio, which is Spanish for his Japanese name, Zinnia, which could be confusing considering Higana.
Clavel: Same in Japanese, Spanish, German, French, and Italian. English and B. Portuguese just adds another L. Clive: Same in English and B. Portuguese Director Escolar (Director)
Catarina (Katy): Her B. Portuguese name, which is closer to her name in English (Katy) and Japanese (Kaede).
Brais or Brás (Brassius): His Spanish and B. Portuguese names respectively, as both are very close to his English name.
Kissera (Iono): Her B. Portuguese name, comes from "O que será?" apparently meaning "what will it be?", which is closer to the intent behind her name in Japanese (Nanjyamo, name given to an unusually large tree that grows in a particular place; literally meaning "What is it?") and English (Iono, as in "I don't know") than her Spanish name, e-Nigma. Which makes me think of the Riddler.
Fuco (Kufo)
Laureano or Lauro (Larry): His Spanish and B. Portuguese names respectively. Larry could be a nickname for either though.
Lima or Citrina (Ryme): Her Spanish and B. Portuguese names respectively. Lima has the same puns on lime and rhyme that English and Japanese does, but tbh makes me think more of lima beans. Citrina is from citrino (citrus).
Tuli or Tulipa (Tulip): Her Spanish and B. Portuguese names respectively.
Grusha: Actually may be from an unrevealed Russian region as his name is Russian. It's also the same in most languages.
Cayena or Kaya (Rika): Her Spanish and B. Portuguese names respectively. Both come from cayenne, which isn't in her Japanese or English names. Her Japanese name is Chili, and Rika comes from paprika.
Poppy: Her name in English, Japanese, and B. Portuguese as well as German and Indonesian.
Hassel?: From and unknown region so could literally be anything, and all his names are very different.
Ságita or Guita (Geeta): Her Spanish and B. Portuguese names respectively. Supercampeona (Top Champion)
Team Star: Same in English and Spanish as well as German, French, and Italian
Penny: Actually from Galar, so her English name. Cassiopeia or Casiopea: English and Spanish forms respectively, referencing the constellation.
Giacomo: Same in English and B. Portuguese DJ Vil (DJ Vice)
Melo or Mélia (Mela): Spanish and B. Portuguese respectively.
Henzo (Atticus): Spanish name. Not like English or Japanese name, but his whole ninja theming makes Henzo fit better than the B. Portuguese Érico.
Ortega: Same in English and B. Portuguese, similar to Japanese, French, and Korean Ortiga.
Erin or Êri (Eri): Spanish and B. Portuguese respectively.
Profesor Sada: Same in English and EUROPEAN Portuguese, listed for once.
Profesor Turo: Same in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Kitakami: Japanese Not a region itself I don't think, but it's not connected to a specific region I don't think, so.
Zeiyu (Carmine)
Suguri (Kieran) Sugu (Kiki)
Sazare (Perrin): Actually from Sinnoh, but this is where you meet her so here she is. Shashinka (Photographer)
What do you think? Did I forget anyone important?
Okay this took way too long for something probably no one will see okaybaiiiiii

And it is another Friday!
This week is very much about catching up on fics that I am reading. As I said, since I read the entirety of the Heroes of Olympus two weekends ago, I lost track of the fics.
“But Yuè, didn’t you also read Trials of Apollo this week?” Yes, yes, I did, but I spread that one more evenly, so I had time to catch up on fics.
Okay, okay, I did read some new stuff, because I am me, and I am a wreck after a *cough* certain moment in the Trials of Apollo. And what do I do? I look up fancontent. I was scrolling through Finn @agentsnickers’s blog and I found out they wrote for even when i’m far away, i’ll hold you in my heart, which is about Nico finding out about [REDACTED]. I am so sad, but it was a good fucking fic. I also read picking up the pieces, also by Finn, because it caught my eye. I loved this one too.
But now to the catch up! I finished When It’s Right, It’s Right by @cerriddwenluna, and actually a bit earlier than others. Gwen posted the full fic on S&C before AO3! I loved how Gwen managed to sneak so many “swipe left” jokes into this fic.
Another Valentine’s fic I needed to catch up on is @rockitmans‘s Blaine Anderson vs. Valentine’s Day. As I said in a comment, I love Blaine being a nervous wreck! This was very sweet.
We are going back in time to another holiday: Christmas. I still have festive fics to read. Last week I started Scenes from December by @spaceorphan18 and I finished it this week. I was crying by the end of it. This was a good fucking fic.
And just in time for this post, @nausikaaa/@wellbelesbian updated blow on the tinder, a fic where Natasha gets Turned instead of killed. I did not expect the romantic Malcolm. I really enjoy this fic.
As usual, here are the tags on my personal blog, for if you want to browse:
Klaine fics (klfics)
Brittana fics (bsfics)
general Glee fics (glee fic)
Whoniverse fics (dw fic)
Check, Please! fics (omgcp fics)
Simon Snow series fics (co fics)
general fic tag (fics)
original writing tag (writing)
Oh, and how was Trials of Apollo? I liked it. I really liked the character arc that Lester/Apollo went on. I liked all of the characters, to be honest. I also liked that they split the huge group of characters over the 5 books. Oh, and I liked Will/Nico, and all the other casual queer rep. I do wonder how long this entire universe can go on. Every series starts with “surprise, there is a bigger threat on top of the previous supposedly biggest threat!” and the last book seemed to hint to another series. I have some more thoughts but then we’re getting into spoiler territory. After all I have a lot to say about [REDACTED] from [REDACTED] and the aftermath that followed [REDACTED].
