A Conversation on a thread for Gaia's Xmas 2012: Apocalypsmas

Me: I read somewhere that, if the end of the world was 2012 due to the Mayan calendar, it would have happened months ago because their calendar is different than our modern one.

Then again, I don't know any Mayan Studies majors so how accurate it is is kinda meh.

Other user: Ah, I thought the December 21st date was the one they picked after converting it to out calendar XP

Though I'm pretty sure NASA posted a video debunking the entire thing anyway~

Me: Pfft, debunking.

Where's the fun in that? Conspiracy series are always there for a good laugh.

Other user: I was actually thinking it would be hilarious if the world did already come to and end, and nobody realized it, and we're all just ghosts now, continuing on as if nothing happened.

Me: The afterlife has internet.

I really don't care much about it past that fact.
