We continued to explore Yeng’s new plugins. I introduced Yeng to the API550 EQ plugin and instructed when and how to use it. Next, I showed him the kramer tape plugin. We applied it to the synth to give it an analog feel. I showed him the various knobs to control its character. Lastly, I showed him the Pan Man and Phaser plugins to help with texturing and layering sounds.

It’s been about a year on this board now and I’m absolutely in love. These EQ’s are so musical, yet so flexible. In gentle movements they can be very clean, but when driven add rich harmonics to the instruments. And boosting to the extreme sounds soooo good!
