honestly i dont really have like,,,a set way that i pick colours? a lot of the time it's just i choose a colour i want for a base (like hair or skin or whatever) and then for the shading i use the same colour but darker and more saturated. sometimes if im feeling spicy ill put my shading on a multiply layer and use like purple or blue but i find normally for that it depends on the piece im doing?

sometimes when i dont feel like my colours are enough tho ill add filters over top of my stuff to make things look a little brighter, or ill add a multiply or overlay layer with a solid colour and clip it to the drawing.

This time with something a little more different, a Julian character analysis cause I'm fighting the imaginary haters on the daily :P

So my main concern when I first wanted to post about her personality/lore would be people saying that she doesn't fit in. That she's too goofy or silly to be put in such a serious setting. But it was kind of the whole point of her character, multiple times did she get told by Makarov or members of the task force that she's too soft or naive for this job, but she still persisted. And that backfired on her since no matter what choice she makes, she just causes herself and people around her more trouble (or she dies *cough cough*). Her abilities on the field are no less than anyone else in the taskforce, it's just that she's still mentally delayed, Makarov adopted her at 16 and kept her that way. It was only when price took her in that she started maturing normally again (aka he got her into therapy), it was also kind of the only way to get her out of Makarov’s influence.

Her being childish and affectionate around people of the taskforce was meant to showcase that, and too show different types of love. I get that the theme also doesn't fit the game, but this isn't CANON TO THE GODDAMN GAME. Also, jinx from arcane had a huge influence on her, that's why she has that "grown up that still acts childish due to trauma/ their adoptive parents influence " character type.

She dies in the end both ways so why does any of this matter.

More random Julian fun facts cause I got nothing better to do:
