I've been seeing alot of posts for this going around and I wanted to join in and do a comparison. This is my cosplay progress from my first "costest" for APH Poland from 3 years ago, to when I first created this blog a few months after, to how my cosplay is currently. I still believe there is room for improvement, but I'd be damned if I said I wasn't proud of the progress I've made with this salty boi and my cosplays in general. Trust me, if I can get better, you will get better. Don't discourage yourselves, understand that its alot of trial and error and enjoy what you are doing because in the end, we are all nerds.

Hetalia fanart a bit less often, but I’ll still make it, and some of my OCs are inspired by my fave Hetalians~

I cosplay several Hetalians on my main, including Vietnam and Poland/Nyo!Pol (mainly), and have a few casual for Iceland, Nyo!Liet, and others, and of course lotsa pics with fellow Hetalian cosplay friends!

Also, new cosplay planned to debut once cons open again, but follow me to stay updated - I’m super excited to show off S. Korea in actual real Hanbok!Yup, not the controversial, incorrect canon design, but an authentic one I bought from Gwangjang Market in Seoul last spring! (It’s a surprise for IG, so shh~ here’s my Tumblr exclusive announcement ;3) I’ve yet to cosplay him, and it might be a while until I get the chance to, but I’m frickin’ excited to give him a better recognition in the fandom coz I’ve dived into Korean culture so much lately, and his character is a blast to combine my interests! 😂 (Check out my fanart of him in the hanbok I bought on my art IG!)

Ohayocon part 1 - Slavic fam (+Lithuania)!

🇷🇺🇵🇱🇧🇾🇺🇦 Nie lekceważ nigdy nas! I really love this pic coz Slavic squat~ Fun tidbit I learned: people of the respective countries actually did this! First time seeing this at school’s Polish Club: some members squatted for a pic and I was like “WTH what is this??” At photoshoot: let’s take a Slavic fam pic! *squats* 😂Meanwhile, Ukraine’s like 😬 haha 🇷🇺🇵🇱🇧🇾🇺🇦”Fabulous as usual~ I’m like, kinda surprised Bela isn’t like, climbing over me to get to her big brother.. for once.” Rather normal pic of fam members at shoot~ (I’m happy my armband showed up in pics somewhat before it ripped, it’s a detail I wanted to add after seeing the Warsaw Uprising museum had real ones on display! That was a very neat historical museum) 🇵🇱🇱🇹”What’s left of [Liet’s and my Commonwealth] pride..” (actually one of my OTP~) I didn’t expect to see a Lithuania there at all! And a great cosplayer I knew from YT too, I was surprised! It was very neat to meet and hang with you a bit over the weekend (somehow we kept passing each other in the halls?? XD). Thanks for letting me pose with the Commonwealth flag, that was really cool! (Also, wow our heights are appropriate!) 🇵🇱”Witaj! Rysuj kółko to ziemia~ a to ja Polska!” Aww Poland why are you so dorky.. …Oh, coz I’m cosplaying you here.. Of course, then.. XD That’s.. not a banner, it’s a sports scarf. Bought in Poland during a study abroad last summer (also when I took a heavy interest in this character and dived back into Hetalia after a few years break lol). It’s one of my fave souvenirs, and I have an Austria and Hungary one too! (My friend took this pic coz I couldn’t of course. She also made a really sweet comment that made me quite happy so I hope you don’t mind if I post this particular screenshot!) 🇺🇦🇵🇱🇧🇾 “Pierogi są najlepsze!” Pierogi foodie buds! Not my idea but I love it! Pierogies are delicious, I especially like the “dessert” kind with fruit inside and sweet dipping cream (I miss it so much haha). It was nice to meet and get a pic with you both and talk a bit at the shoot after you ran excitedly up to my table before XD
