You wanna know what I think is really weird? The Church-Kleene Ordinal. You'd think that, since it's written ω1^CK, that it's ≥ω1. But it's not. You'd think that it's regular, as it's unreachable from any recursive notation. But it's not. Apparently you can diagonalize across NOTATIONS to get to it. And it's like, what the fuck?? Diagonalize "across notations"? That can't be how it works.
