hiloy is a trader who had aotg, need and the rest of the songs that leaked in 2023. apparently he played aotg and need during a discord voice call and some of the people listening recorded them with their phones and leaked the snippets, which obv went viral. this prompts hiloy to try to sell the songs to someone, but he doesn't find anyone and in the meantime the snippets go more viral. so hiloy gives up and organises a groupbuy. the songs are aotg and drama queen and the cost is 2300 dollars. in the discord server there's so much drama and server is nuked like 3 times cause people got in just to report it. in the meantime someone else leaks the fw 2012 demo. the quota is reached in 2/3 days and the next day, once the actual money had been converted into bitcoins, he sends the songs. once the songs were posted the group buy realise that they were not HQ files and everybody turns on him. many participants ask hiloy to organise a second groupbuy for need and tiwycf but someone else, probably the same person who leaked fw 2012, leaks those as well. a few weeks later, hiloy leaks the fw tv demo cause he says it's useless to gatekeep now.

you guysssssssssssssssssssss this is the most excited i felt since the aotg groupbuy (which took a toll on my mental health lmao). cannot wait to see what happens with this new song and if it will leak, 2015 is kinda of a mystery to me

do you think there can be another groupbuy for other unreleased songs?

that's actually an interesting question. first, I'd like to look at the reasons why (1) there was a GB in the first place and (2) why it was the first.

AOTG and Need are songs that got much exposure since the IC got them, for various reasons: they were from her most recent album (after all Lover had been released only a few months before), they are from her pop era, of which Taylor didn't have any leak whatsover, COVID also played a role: everyone was at home chronically online. also, while I don't think Lover is particularly appreciated in the fandom, it's one of her most popular album, just look at its streaming numbers even in late 2024.

the answer to the second point is quite obvious: Taylor doesn't have any leaks. There's hardly anything that's so in the public eye enough to warrant even the idea of a groupbuy. also, sellers aren't really keen on groupbuys bc the song is guaranteed to leak and apparently they don't like that? even though they already made the money? not sure about the reasons.

the things that are circulating aren't exciting at all. honestly, I wouldn't have thrown any money into the 2003 songs that leaked last summer for example. With the IC gone, I doubt we'll even get a title for which we could hope to organise a GB. Like a Lana insider said a few months ago, i don't know why they hoard titles. honestly I hope none of them reads this cause I just know they'd laugh. it's just too much irritating. I'm actually writing a long post about this but i don't know if i'll ever post it lol

Yeah, I know who they are, but I'm not gonna doxx them, so don't ask me to reveal it lol. I haven't spoken to them since the aotg groupbuy though, so I don't know if they have speak now
