Anyone remember the mural that was mentioned in Chapter 10 of Leap of Faith (Catch Me If You can)?

This has been on my to draw list for ages and I finally got around to making it

Plus I'm trying to force myself to get used to drawing backgrounds/environments more

Hey Erin! I LOVE your fanfic so much and have gotten so much into the “Peter gets dropped in Gotham” trope that I’ve decided to start writing my own. I absolutely love the way you portray Peter’s spider sense in your story with the little “hello friend!” style and I was wondering if I could do something similar in my own to show what his spider sense is telling him?

If not that’s totally cool but the way you write Peter’s spider sense is the best I’ve ever seen it portrayed in a fanfic and it reads so well!

ofc you can!! most of the fics that are on the "inspired by" for LoF have the trope and it's really awesome to see everyone use it! i had no idea that it would turn out so beloved, but i'm glad i did it! spidey sense is sort of like it's own character to me :)

I make this as if i doubt that at one point, Dink hasn't tried to crunch his jolly ranchers like that when he was younger, maybe even now. I wrote this on the og video, but new personal headcanon Peter would be the type to eat hard candy like ice, especially now that he has fangs. They're just watching a movie and then CRUNCH CRUNCH CRUNCH Peter just bit his lollypop off the stick. How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop? No, how many chews, and the answer is ONE.

Peter’s heart swells at the thought. He needs heroes! They’ll be able to help him! The first thing that pops up is a website- JusticeLeague.Org. - Peter, like any 14 year old superhero, really wants to catch a break. He's just a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, nothing special. Well, only if you don't look at his biology ever since the radioactive spider bite. And his extensive track record of running away and deaths in his life. And that his foster-dad is Tony Stark. And that his mentors are the Avengers. And the fact that he was randomly kidnapped one morning on his way to school and now he's in an alternate universe with a bunch of different superheroes that keep stalking him.

He thinks they mean well, but they're really weird. Besides that Red Hood guy. He's pretty cool."

While i was listening to a song, 'Achilles, come down' came up, and it reminded me of peter in LoF, and in Dark Matter. Like srsly, he's gone so depressed in so many parts, and the song just reminded me of Peter's hate towards himself, practically blaming himself for aunt may's death.

I have a bunch of Chapter 14 drawings I wanna do, it's such a good chapter

I also don't know what a planetarium looks like so my only reference for this was what was written in the scene (one of my favourite scenes and chapters so far, i cried while reading the chapter it's so good)

I was tempted to add justice league decorations in the background, but it made it look weird in the sketch so I ended up leaving the shelves blank

I'm also so happy with the lighting and background
