Tw: Bullying, angst with a bit of fluff, Neytiri doesn’t like reader at all, reader feels like an outcast, name calling (Demon), discrimination? Child birth, experiments done to an infant in stomach, reader has long hair, mass effect references, reader is still 5′3.
Author’s note: Don’t worry I haven’t forgot about the Fish Girl series, I just wanted to do a fic of Aonung x reader but with switched parts. I hope you like it, I won’t be adding a tag list on here since I’m not sure if the taglist should be on one series alone.
Masterlist
You’re a human born in Pandora, just like Spider but you were different. While he had to wear a mask to be able to breath the toxic are, you were able to breath with no problem. Thanks to the experiments done by your parents who sadly had died, your father went out one night and never returned. Your mother died while giving birth, you had come earlier than you should and she lost a lot of blood.
Sometimes you felt guilty that it was you who killed the woman who had given birth to you. Norm, who was your adopted father had told you many times that it wasn’t your fault, things of that kind just happen, even though it was true, you still felt some kind of guilt.
You and Spider grew up together in the lab, you were both siblings. You also grew up knowing the Sullys, the kids saw you as another sibling like Spider, while Jake saw you as a niece, mean while Neytiri hated your guts like Spider. When you’d be around, she’d give you the cold shoulder, the only time she spoke to you was when greeting one another. You didn’t need to ask how she felt about and Spider, you already knew by the look of disgust she gave the two of you.
Everything changed when the sky people using Avatars came, they had you all under their knives and took Spider. The only choice the Sullys had was to flee, to protect the clan. Neytiri wanted you to stay behind, she felt that it was both you and Spider’s fault that they had to flee, but Jake didn’t want to leave you behind, specially since you were also a target.
The day you had to leave, you only packed a backpack, only taking what you little. A book about the galaxy and constellations, two pairs of khaki pants, a notebook, your cellphone and last a picture of you with Norm, Max, Spider and other scientist that had stayed behind. You’ll miss this place for sure.
When you said your goodbyes to Norm and Max, you cried on the ride with Kiri. You both cried since you were leaving your home behind. You and Kiri had a deep connection, maybe it was because you both had five fingers and have a human mother, you weren’t really sure what it was but you both were like spirit sisters in a way.
Days had gone on, everyone was tired from flying on the banshees, Neytiri believed that they were lost but Jake insisted that you weren’t until finally you spotted a village. Once you got off you all got stared at, a small crowd form around you all, you held onto Kiri’s hand feeling nervous. You saw a certain Metkayina boy staring at you the most, it made you feel exposed. When the  Tsahìk had made claims of both the five fingered Sullys not being real Na’vi and had demon blood. She saw you, a demon.
“And yet they had brought a demon with them” she said causing the crowd to gasp, some of the villagers pulling their children behind them while others held tightly onto their spears. Great, now everyone saw you as a demon, first it was Neytiri, now a clan, just fantastic. You would of rather been taken away as well.
Finally after Jake had convinced the Olo'eyktan, you were welcomed. The chief's daughter known as Tsireya had taken you on small tour of the village into your now new home. When you were all settling in, their was a small family meeting. Everyone had mixed feelings about their new home, Tuk began to cry since she missed her home dearly just like everyone else. After a few words of comfort and their small quotes of “Sullys stick together” everyone went to sleep.
The next morning, you had got dressed, you put on a top that was given to you by Kiri, it was a made with straps with colored beads that also go around the neck, some leather tassels that hanged on the sides, It covered your chest a bit, you didn’t mind wearing the tops but the bottoms, that was a no for you, maybe later on you’ll wear them. A pair of pale colored pants and you just let your hair down, you were to lazy to put it up, thank goodness your hair covered your back.
You along with the Sully kids left to start your swimming lessons. When you were in the water with the others, you noticed how the Chief’s son, known as Ao’nung was looking at you. During the swimming lessons, he continued to look at you, as if he was interested in you in a way, you just brushed it off since they had never seen a human or should you say Dreamwalker.
After the lesson, everyone went on to do whatever, you had got your book and to it. You sat under a palm tree, reading about a galaxy called Andromeda. Their was a planet there that apparently the air isn’t toxic and they had alien life there too. They were called Angara, their was also images of what the species looked like. Reading this made you want to travel across the galaxy, see different places, know different kinds of people. You probably could but it would take time to build a ship of some kind, the only thing you could do is dream of it.
You were too focused on your book you didn’t notice a group of Metayina boys approaching towards you. Then you saw a tall figure loom over you. Looking up you saw Ao’nung, Rotxo and two other boys you haven’t seen. “May I help you?” you asked looking into Ao’nung’s blue eyes “are you some kind of... freak? Or should I say demon?” he asked making the other boys laugh. You sigh, like mother, like son, you thought as you closed your book and got up. “He asked you a question” Rotxo chimed in. “No” you said now irritated, you tried leaving but they circled you, Ao’nung in front of you.
“It’d be rude if you didn’t answer” he said with a stupid smirk on his face, he was was about to reach for your hand but you pulled away in time. Then you felt someone take your book, it was the boy who had his hair down who had taken it. “Give it back!” you yelled trying to get it but he lifted the book up high, taking advantage that he was taller than you. Then he threw the book to the boy with the buzz cut, you ran to get it from him but then he tossed it to Rotxo, again running to get it from him, but just like the other kids, he tossed it to Ao’nung who looked at it.
“Please, just give it back” you said about to burst into tears, afraid that they’ll do something to the book that belonged to your mother. “You want it back?” He said as you nodded, he was about to hand it to you, but then he pulled the book back him. Opening it then he began to tear out the pages. You stood their shocked, seeing that he had destroyed your book, after he had ripped enough pages from your book he threw them on the ocean, his friends laughed hard at his action.
Your eyes began to tear up, you looked up at him, seeing his smirk fade away into a look of worry. You walked over to were your now destroyed book was and went to collect the pages and hard cover. Then you heard Neteyam, Lo’ak and Kiri approach. “Y/n? What happened” Kiri asked, then she saw what you were collecting then she looked over at Neteyam and Lo’ak, once they got a look at what you were doing, their faces turned into one of anger. Then a fight broke loose.
Kiri helped you collect the book pages and walked you back to the Marui. The whole time Kiri was consoling you, you were just string at the ground, numb and heart broken. This book meant a lot to you, it was the only memory of your mother that you had, it hurt you. Once you got home, Jake and Neytiri saw the both of you, Jake was the one to speak first “What happened” you didn’t answer or looked up at up at your uncle, you were too heart broken. “Ao’numng destroyed Y/n’s book and purpose, now Neteyam and Lo’ak are fighting him and his friends” Kiri said as Jake sighed. “I’ll be back, Kiri come with me” he said as she nodded. She sat you down on the floor while she left with Jake.
Meanwhile, you were looking down at your wet book pages, not saying a word to Neytiri who was now looking at you. She felt bad for you, she knew what it felt to have something from a loved out who was passed to be broken. She walked close to you sat next to you. “Y/n?” she said as you didn’t want to look away from your book. It hurt her heart seeing you this sad, normally you were messing around with her children or playing with Tuk, but this time, you were just quiet. Neytiri sighed, then she softly pulled you into a hug in which you didn’t pull away from. This is the first time she has ever been this nice to you, while she held you, you let out a sob, you began to cry, you didn’t cry before because of the shock but now you were letting it out.
Later that night, everyone was sitting together eating dinner in silence. You weren’t really eating much, you felt like you were going to throw up. Tuk heard of what happened, she hated seeing you upset, she leaned over to you, she held your free hand as form of comfort. That night you had cried yourself to sleep.
The next morning, you didn’t bother changing your top, you only changed into a dark brown pair of pants and headed out. You didn’t go to your lessons like the rest, you went to the beach instead. You sat down watching the waves move around, along with fishermen coming back to deliver the fish, and others just swimming, you stayed their for the remaining of the day until the afternoon.
Then you heard footsteps coming your way, you didn’t turn to look who it was, you were too focused on the cream colored sand, drawing stars and whatever. “Hey” your stomach dropped when you heard that familiar voice, the boy who had ruined you book was here. “What do you want?” you said looking down at the sand. “I came to apologies” he said, making you stand up, your face had switched into one of anger. “Apologies, you can’t repair my book with an apology, that book was the only thing of my mother’s that I had” you said now crying out of anger. This shocked Ao’nung “I didn’t know, I’m sorry” he said making you turn away from him.
You began to cry again, the na’vi in front of you felt bad, he should of never done that, he deeply regret it. His father has always thought him to treat girls and women with respect, he fucked up big time. “I really am deeply sorry, I was a complete idiot for what I did” he said as you turned to look at him. You saw that he was genuinely sorry for what he did. “Please, give me another chance? If not, I'll leave you be” he said looking down in shame.
You were looking at him, his apology seemed genuine, it hurt you knowing that your book will never be fixed, its in the past now and you can’t go back into past, well not unless you build a time machine but that was in fiction. “I forgive you and I’ll give you a second chance.” You said this made him look up at you, giving you small smile “thank you, for giving me a second chance y/n” he said. You nodded as you wiped your tears away. “I guess I’ll see you around.” He only nodded as you began to walk away back to the marui, hopefully this time he won’t be as cruel.

“You are good to go, if anything goes wrong or if they are not very welcoming, just say the word and we will get you” the head director of the ocean na’vi program says. In front of him was the new girl. Determined and open minded to learn new things, and was given the ultimate task.
Make the first human contact with the reef na’vi.
Nodding in excitement, the new recruit gets into a canoe with her prepared items. Making sure she is set for sail, she looks at her comrades. “I will let you know everything. Hopefully, this can go well. If doctor Agustine has faith in us, we can't lose” she says with optimus in her voice.
Saying her last farewell, she sets off to the Metkayina island.
“This will be good, I can feel it!”
Tumblr media
She arrives at the island, her eyes in awe as she gets closer to the shore. So many na’vi! They all stare at her, many in fear, others in curiosity, and many ready to fight her. Raising her hands, she gets out from her canoe and displays she is of no harm.
“I come in peace, I bring no harm” the human girl announces in perfect, fluent na’vi.
Many, from what she suspects are warriors, stare at her in surprise.
“You are a sky demon! Leave or we will not be easy on you!” one of the warriors warned her. Another warrior follows after.
“We heard what you did with the forest na’vi, leave! You only bring death and sorrow wherever you go”.
The tension was building fast among the other people. Mothers protecting their children, might warriors standing in front of the weak. Any wrong move and she might end up dead. Which is a high factor.
The crowd breaks as two significant looking na’vi walks through, from how they are dressed and the others willing to step aside, the human knew exactly who they were.
And it gave her excitement. Already the first and she is seeing so much!
The human was quick with the traditional na’vi greeting of “I see you”. In hopes that the tension can lessen if she displays their ways.
The Tsahik and Olo’eyktan looked at her carefully. Observing her every move and detail. Small hint of disgust but also confusion as to why a human is here.
“Hello, I bring no harm. I am here to learn your ways. Allow me to prove myself to you, perhaps you have heard of the dark stories of what the humans did to other na’vi, but I promise you that I only bring peace. Please, teach me your ways”.
Tumblr media
Ronal doesn't know what or how or even why. But after a lengthy discussion with Tonowari, they granted the human permission to enter their home. And learn their ways. As best a human can learn. While Tonowari was more loose on letting the human in, Ronal felt different, at first she came defensive and was always on alert should the human do something that seems bad under her eyes.
But the human was aware where the line drew, only did what she was allowed to and dared not to push boundaries. Ronal wasn't making it any easier for the human. None whatsoever. In fact, Ronal planned to make things so difficult for the human that she would have no other choice but to leave.
Now if only it worked that, and not Ronal making it harder for herself.
Tumblr media
“Put more strength in your arms. It must be thinned out and easy to separate. Any thicker and it will be difficult to mix” Ronal instructed the human with a harsh tone. She was teaching the human how to make crushed, thin, dust-like green material. Very dry leaves that were thoroughly picked from their small forest.
The human woman smiled and obeyed, “alright tsahik”. Doing exactly what she is being told. That is the thing that irks ronal. The human doesn't fight back. She doesn't do anything!
“A child can do a better job than you,” Ronal says with a snarky tone. The human just takes it, “I don't doubt it. This is more of their ways” the human replies with such calmness in her voice. Not a hint of anger, impatience, nothing.
“Dont think this will be enough, there is still much more to grind down” Ronal says, as she places a lot more dried grass in the already big pile. The human stops for a few seconds to look at the bigger addition. Ronal smirks, surely this will be it? “Guess I better grind faster to finish all of these” the human says in glee and continues to grind.
Ronal’s smirk left her lips, fine then. Tomorrow will be worse.
Tumblr media
Harsher insults, harsher training, harsher practice. Ronal threw everything at the human, but nothing breaks the human girl. And it infuriates her to the core. Why wasn't she fighting back? Why was she accepting everything? Why was she letting ronal belittle her?
Ronal’s anger grew to where Tonowari had to enterfier.
“Ronal, perhaps you are pushing her too far?” he asks her one day. Ronal scoffs as she does her small tasks in their home. “The human can bare it. Anything I give her, she accepts. That utter fool” she replies. Annoyance heavy on her tone. “She won't break so easily. Not made of sea glass” she continues.
Tonowari sighs, walks up to her and places a hand on her shoulder. “Perhaps not, but your tolerance is thinner than these fibers. Perhaps by surprise, it will be you who will break first”.
Tumblr media
The human began to make and wear her na’vi like clothing to fit in more. And as she talked more with the other clan members, more began to welcome her with open arms and even into their homes. Adapting more into their culture and ways of life. They began to accept her.
Ronal wasn't so ready to accept the human.
Not yet at least.
One night, after the communal dinner, Ronal took the human away from the noise and into a more quiet part of the small forest. Yet, along the way, the human not once asked where they were going. Never questioned ronal’s actions, her odd behavior. Nothing.
When they arrived at a beautiful blue glowing waterfall, Ronal kept a bit of distance from the human.
“Tell me human, why do you accept?” Ronal asks after a few minutes of silence.
The human blinked once, “accept what tsahik?”.
Hissing in frustration, Ronal turns to look at the human in anger.
“Why do you accept everything?! I keep pushing you to do beyond what you physically can. Accept any insulting word I give you. Force you to do things clearly you are not very comfortable with. Why do you accept my harsh treatment towards you?”
The human sees Ronal and sees how she truly feels. Taking a deep breath, relaxing her shoulders, the human does what she does best.
Give her an honest smile.
“You have every right to treat me that way. While I am not personally responsible for the thousands of killings of the na’vi, I still feel ashamed and guilty as if it were my own crimes. My kind has treated your kind terribly. So, I understand if you feel any anger or hatred towards me for simply being human. But I accept, I accept it all. If it means to be part of your world, your clan. I would gladly accept anything you throw at me. This is a dream come true for me. This planet, the life it holds. The environments, plants, animals, you. I love and respect everything about your world. All I desire is to learn how things are. From learning about Eywa to learning of the na’vi ways. My only desire is to learn. To have you personally teach me, it is a high luck I could never get anywhere else. So that is why I accept all that you give me. A price to pay for the things I can see and experience. So Tsahik, that is why I accept it. As my way to thank you”
Ronal saw the human, looking deep into her eyes to detect any lies, but all she saw was the truth.
“You fool…”
Tumblr media
“Irayo, just in time for breakfast” Ronal welcomes her human friend. Irayo, that is what Ronal calls her ever since that night. It's been stuck to her ever since, not that she plans to defy the tsahik wishes.
Irayo sits in the home of ronal and tonowari. Accepting the food, she begins to eat. But not soon after, she felt a little tug from her wrist. Looking down, Irayo sees little tsireya playfully tugging at her bracelet. Taking it off, she hands it to tsireya who tries to bite down on it.
“Has tsireya began teething?” Irayo asks, ronal nods but gives a disapproving look.
“She will rip off the beads. You worked so hard to make it for us” Ronal says as she points to her own matching bracelet. Irayo laughs, “that is fine. It will give me an excuse to make better friendship brackets for us. I will even make another for cute little tsreiya” Irayo replies as she playfully pinches tsireya’s chubby cheeks, making the child squeal in delight.
Tonowari sits down to join them.
“Today irayo and I will attend to the elderly, tsireya will be under your care until noon” Ronal says to him.
Tonowari nods, but couldn't help but smirk a bit. Leaning in, he whispers into Ronal’s ear. “Your friendship with irayo has improved greatly. I still remember when you called her many foolish names”.
Ronal rolls her eyes and taps his forehead lightly.
“I recall no such things. Irayo has been my good friend from the start”
Tumblr media
Aaaaaaaaand that is all for this one! I hope you all enjoyed this fic! Until next time, see ya!

He whimpered as he reached your waist to pull you off his overly sensitive pulsating cock, your wet folds sinking down on him with another breathy moan Tumbling from your lips.
His attempts were good for nothing as fat tears rolled down his flushed teal cheeks, your hands on his chest, chasing your upteenth orgasm as he begged to go slow, fucking him low and slow, drawling out the climax as much as you can, making him suffer in immense pleasure.
He looked up at you with teary eyes, mouth agape as he panted heavily leaning against the palm tree, the bark digging into his back but he didn't care, all his attention was on the way your pussy swallowed his cock like a snug glove designed for him, but the overwhelming sensation was making him go CRAZY as he watched your hips roll over his, your lewd moans were music to his ears, the jiggle and bounce of your tits were just enough to make him loose himself in you.
His tail thrashed like a wild cat, biting down on his lip to stop himself from moaning out loud, your Siren eyes knew everything, your submissive little plaything loved it when you-
"what happened, big boy? Go on, scream out my name, say my name, let them know who you belong to"
You crooned in his neck as he moaned, his grip on your waist tightened as he felt himself getting closer to another nerve-wracking orgasm "um'ma please- please go slow, yawne, fuck!-"
he groaned loudly as goosebumps spread through your body when he came and painted your red walls white, thick ropes of cum coating your pussy, not long before you came after him, gushing over his twitching cock still buried deep inside you.
You laid on top of him, both of you a panting plie of mess as his breath staggered, your face in his neck, planting soft kisses on the smooth skin of his chest and neck, sucking playfully time to time, his hands roaming on your back and hair.
He whimpered softly holding your hand softly and brought his braid forward for you to see, the pink tendrils of his queue dancing together "y- yawne- pha- please" begging you desperately but be was cut off by your kiss on his lips, silencing him into oblivion as his lips moved against yours, pulling you closer.
"shh shh~ I know I know" you whispered, your breath fanning over his lips, resting your forehead on his as you brought your kuru over and connected them, both of your gasps filled the air around you, your minds intertwined together on a level above a physical understanding.
"Ole nagti kameie" he whispered, tail wagging behind, forehead to forehead, nose to nose as he smiled softly.
"Ole nagti kameie"

Stuck with me
Pairing- Ao'nung x Sully!reader
Summary- You didn't like violence, Ao'nung had the urge to protect you. He falls in love with you and seeing you protect him pulled him in deeper and then you get stuck with each other.
Warnings- blood, bruises, fighting
Tumblr media
You didn't like violence, not even a little. You didn't even like to yell. You just wanted everyone to get along. And you were the best warriors going neck to neck with your mother Neytiri. But even as a warrior you try to get in as little violence as possible, but sometimes it is inevitable.
"Hey forest girl." Ao'nung said he had been trying to get under your skin for weeks. He has gotten all of your siblings but you. "Hi Ao'nung." You smile and his transparent eyebrows furrow. "So you call this a tail." He said pulling on your tail slightly. Pulling it from him, "Yes I do as you call yours a tail, would you like to join me in medicine making today?" You quickly change the subject and this confuses the boy even more. "No." He said quickly walking off.
After that day he tried everything to get you to even yell at him. But you didn't budge, you only gave him a smile and a few quick words. And finally he gave in. Walking next to you on the beach as you pick up shells that Tuk asked for. "Hey Y/N." Ao'nung said before you could speak another group of boys passed you. "Hey freak." One yelled out and Ao'nung looked offended for you and all you did was pick up another shell and continue walking. The boys scoff before leaving. He watched as you deflected every insensitive thing that a few people threw at you, how you continued to do your task at hand and not yell and fight back as he would, he admired you. And he had this urge to protect you.
And protect you he did.
You had been laying in the sand soaking up the sun as the group of boys from a few days ago came across you again. Ao'nung had been only a few feet away and may or may not have been keeping an eye on you. "Hey freak." One of them said you open your eyes and stand up brushing sand off of yourself before smiling at them. "So is it true?" One of them asked and you turned to him. "What true?" You ask. "That your father was a demon my mom said that all demons should be killed." He said and you shake your head side to side. "Well my father was of demon blood and then he became one of the people-" cut off by the boy again. "So you're a demon." He laughed and you began to walk away not wanting to start anything.
As you walked away Ao'nung walked behind you, "Call her a demon again and I'll skin you alive." He hissed. He caught up to you and you looked at him. "You know you did not need to do that." You say walking to your family's home. "Yes, I know but I wanted to protect you." He said as you shake your head walking into the marui.
As you walk in you smile at your family before sitting in the circle they had made. "Ao'nung said he wanted to protect Y/N." Neytiri laughed and you shook your head side to side as your family laughed along with her. "Ao'nung protect Y/N, she fought a thantor without a weapon I think she is good." Lo'ak laughed. "That was only because it was trying to eat all of you, I do not like violence." You say grabbing a piece of fruit your mother freshly cut. The laughter died down as they continued to talk about all kinds of things. Jake watched from across the hut watching as you looked around, a peaceful smile rested on your lips. You reminded him so much of your mother it made him so proud, but scared him a little.
-One week later-
Everyone was waiting at the dock searching for Lo'ak. Everyone stopped as they watch him ride to docks. Neteyam dragged Ao'nung by the arm, and put him in front of your parents. Lo'ak stomped toward Ao'nung before Jake stepped in front of him. "Tell them what you told me." Neteyam spoke loudly. "We took Lo'ak out to Three Brothers Rock and left him there." He looked ashamed, almost regretful to have done this, he avoided everyone's eyes but your gaze the most.
Tonowari sighed at this and you watched as Lo'aks eyes glazed over everyone. "It was my idea to go to the island, it wasn't Ao'nungs fault." Lo'ak said and the next thing your father spoke hurt. "I'm disappointed in you Lo'ak." Lo'ak looked taken back before he stormed off Ao'nung on his tail.
You hadn't known what was said between the two but what you couldn't get Ao'nung and the way he looked earlier that night. You silently step out of your mauri and see Ao'nung standing at the edge of the beach.
You walk up next to him and he turns his head, eyes widened as shocked to see you.
"Hello, Ao'nung." You say and he takes a deep breath in. "Hey Y/N, I'm sorry for what I did to your brother." He said quietly and you hummed. "I know." You say sitting on the sand. He followed with a bewildered expression. "You do."
"Yes."
"How?" He asked and you giggled which only confused him more.
"You are not as clever as you think you are Ao'nung, I see what others do not, I know that you take care of the people you care for, I know that you don't like bullying people but it makes you feel better about yourself if you make others feel just as bad as you. Am I correct or should I go on?" You ask and his face fell had he been that transparent?
"Don't please don't go on." He said, rubbing his eyes. "You're right, I do like feeling like that, Eywa have I always been a skwang?" He asked himself and you. You oat his shoulder before laughing a little. "Maybe but you can always change huh or do you still want to be a skwang?" You joke and his head shoots up and shakes it before laughing. "So Y/N friends?" He asked, putting his hand out and you pretend to think before connecting your hand to his shaking it. "Friends."
And that is how it went, you and Ao'nung somehow ended up being each other's best friends. Everyone found it strange, best friends with the person who left your brother for dead but they couldn't help but be grateful. Ever since he started hanging out with you, he's caused less and less trouble. In a situation where he would have just straight swinged you taught him just to ignore it. He admired you for your peaceful nature but it still confused him. He heard that you were the greatest young warrior in the Omaticaya but he hadn't seen you get into a fight once. He shakes the thoughts as he continues listening to your conversation.
"Yeah I did get into that fight and you just sat there sighing, maybe one day you'll have enough and beat me a new one huh N/N." He joked pushing your shoulder teasingly and you only shake your head as you continue to weave the basket you had in your lap.
From afar Ronal and Tonowari watch the interaction. "You know Tono I don't know why but they seem a lot like us when we were their age no?" Ronal said walking into their home. "Yes my love I see it too for some odd reason, Y/N though I think she is the nicest warrior I've ever met." Tonowari said as he settled into his and Ronal's cot.
Now it was the next day, as there would be this huge party to celebrate the entrance to a new season. It would be huge.
And it was everyone dressing up, loud music blasted into your ears, many danced, and alcoholic drinks went around and ran through most. It was pretty peaceful until someone yelled from across the land.
"I am the best warrior out here I could take on anyone." He yelled he was clearly drunk from the way his speech slurred and he took another swig of the drink. And you giggled a little from his statement as did many others. But Eywa seemed to be on the other side today, he clicked you laughing and stomped his way to you. You sat with Kiri on your left and Ao'nung on your right.
"So the little forest girl thinks she is better than me." You sigh as you ignore his persistent badgering. But that just wouldn't do for him. He slammed his hands on the table making you flinch from the loud sound so close to your ears and he yelled out insults about you left and right.
Ao'nung had seemed to have enough. He stood up. "Hey just leave her alone-" cut off by the man who just slammed his fist onto the side of Ao'nungs face. Everyone gasped as the man spouted insults this time to Ao'nung.
"Can't even protect yourself how come this little boy gets to be the next Olo'eyktan he has no right." The man yelled and just as they got up to diffuse the situation everyone stood shocked as you stood in front of the man with the same sweet smile painted on your face.
"He has no right? And I suppose you do? Ao'nung was born to be Olo'eyktan, he's trained, he's learned, he's grown, sure you know how to fish but do you know how to lead a clan?" You told the boy off and he was drunk and your words seemed to anger him, his hands ball into a fist and then he threw his hand towards your face. You catch his hand mid throw, the sweet smile now gone cold expression replaces it. Shivers run down the man's back as you speak in a low voice.
"I have given you a chance to back down, but it seems I'll have to give you one you'll never forget." You say and the last thing yelled was a loud, "Y/N don't!" From your younger sister Kiri.
It wasn't much of a fight as your tight fist landed on his face, a crunch heard from his nose. He held his nose as you punched him in the face again and again making him drop onto the ground. His face was black and blue with a hint of red running down his both nostrils. Pulling your bloodied hands up to your side you look down on him.
Ao'nung was looking at you, mesmerized you've never seemed so beautiful. Lo'ak was yelling "Get his ass Y/N punch him in the dick-'' he screamed, pumping his fist in the air. "We are so kicked out." Jake said rubbing his eyes and Neytiri watched you slightly proud.
Your turn to him and the blood running from his nose alerts you. But it seems the beating you gave the boy wasn't enough as he stands up on his knees not even fully still spewing insults and how he was going to beat you and you finally had enough. "Stand down!" You yell and everyone seems taken back as the bass of your voice booms. You've never yelled, hell you've never been angry but right now everyone seemed a little scared at the dark look in your eyes and the terrifying in your voice. Everyone backed down as you stood up, tilting their heads down for respect.
Tonowari stood shocked, mouth agape at what just went down, while Ronal had a quiet smile on her lips.
You turn back to Ao'nung and the scowl on your face softens as you walk to him.
"Ao'nung, Ao'nung." You say crouching next to him. "Are you okay? Were you injured anywhere else?" You ask, touching his head for a fever. "You're so beautiful." He whispers and only you hear. "He's delusional, come on get up, let's clean you up." You say grabbing his hands with your bruised knuckles strained pulling him from the ground. Ronal turns to Tonowari now they see how they saw themselves in you two.
Later that night after you cleaned Ao'nung up and took him home, Tonowari and Ronal had a conversation.
"She would make a great Tsahik, she is a great healer better than almost everyone in the island and did you see how she protected Ao'nung she is perfect, kind, and strong." Ronal spoke to her husband.
Tonowari was still stuck at the party how you fought that man with ease he was in awe. "She lived here for months and she didn't get into a fight, not even an argument even when bullied. And she only did it when she saw Ao'nung was in trouble." He whispered to himself, smiling a little. Ronal turned to him. "What?" She hadn't heard him. "She would make a great mate and Tsahik she doesn't make brash decisions like Ao'nung she's perfect for him." He replied to his wife who had a huge grin on her face. It was settled between the two of you and Ao'nung should be mates.
They wanted things to settle before they contacted your parents who now stand in front of them. Jake and Neytiri go to kneel down and apologize and ask to stay before Ronal stops them. "Let us sit." Tonowari said.
Ronal poured hot tea for everyone as she sat next to her husband. "We would like to discuss something important." Ronal started and Jake nodded. "It's about Y/N." She added and Neytiri straightened her back and Jake began to speak. "What about Y/N is it about the other day I know sometimes she is rash and doesn't think I had a conversation with her-"
"No it is not about that." Ronal stopped him and urged her husband into the conversation. "Me and Ronal had a talk and we decided that Y/N would be a perfect fit for Ao'nung and would like to discuss and arrange marriage." Tonowari ended.
Neytiri's eyes widened. She hadn't seen the love that bloomed between the two of you. And she knows what it feels like to be in an arranged marriage and she goes to speak. "I do not want my daughter in a marriage she does not want-" cut off by Jake. "We accept." Neytiri looked caught off guard by his acceptance. "Neytiri, you should truly see how they look at each other. They are in love, and I'm not talking about stupid teenage love, I'm talking about honest love. She beat someone to pulp for touching him and you know our daughter." He spoke softly to her and she shook her head up and down. "Then if she truly does love him," she said, pausing.
"Then we accept."
Jake and Neytiri left and went to go find you and there you were looking at your bruised hands. Jake coughs altering you he was there. "Oh hello father, mother." You say tilting your head down. "Y/N, daughter." Neytiri said in a soft tone tucking your hair behind your ear. "Mother." You say again. "Y/N you will be Ao'nungs mate. We have talked to Ronal and Tonowari and we came to the conclusion that the pairing of you would be best." Jake said quickly.
Blinking at the news just given to you, a small smile traces your lips. You shake your head up and down as you turn away looking at the setting sun. "Okay." Was all you said as you walked away from them. They looked at each other and only took a sharp breath collectively.
And as your parents told you if your arrangement Ronal and Tonowari told Ao'nung. He was ecstatic, he had never been so happy in his life. But what gnawed at him was this overwhelmed sense that you didn't feel as happy over your betrothal. So he sat at the ilu deck and looked at the water, happiness and sadness fighting over what controls him.
You see him and slowly sit next to him. "Hey." You say.
"Hey." He replies.
"So you hear," you say. "We're getting married." You say giggling a little after.
He smiles at you and laughs and he turns fully to you and takes a deep breath. "Are you happy with this arrangement you have a choice Y/N." Ao'nung says looking away from you. It was silent, the most uncomfortable silence he's ever been in.
"Guess I'm stuck with you Ma Ao'nung." You say his ears perk at your words and he smiles.
"Happy to be stuck with you Ma Y/N."

Uh-oh! I think you're holding the heart of mine!
Synopsis ! You should have known better than to love someone so cruel.
Content and warning: Ao'nung x Reader! Ao'nung is a mean IDIOT, his friends too. BULLIES >:[ he comes around tho (2.6k words of angst to comfort hahah)
Tumblr media
You’ve been in love with Ao’nung since you were little kids, always trailing behind like a second shadow and mimicking even the smallest gestures. To you, he was the sun; so bright and achingly alluring, but like the sun, he was cruel— oh so cruel. He’d burn you every chance he gets and you’d take it willingly, grateful for even the slightest touch of warmth.
You never took it to heart. Never. This was a challenge that you’ve accepted with great pride thinking that you could crack his mean demeanor; you were convinced that the reason he had this seemingly tough exterior was because he was future clan leader— of course he needed to be strong. It would be bad for his image to falter, let alone to a girl who held no title whatsoever. You were nobody.
Tsireya would say otherwise. though. She was your number one supporter; always urging you to do better and to continue with your cute antics towards his brother. She knows you’d be great for him— heck, you were the only one she deemed suitable for Ao’nung. How could she not think so? You were a great hunter, always quick on your feet and vigilant. On top of that, you were resilient. You never knew when to give up.
You were believed to have been loved, regardless of his very actions. You remember crying to Tsireya one afternoon, showing her the graze on your forearm. The sight of it alarmed her— anything bloodied, even in the smallest of form would worry any kid so she rushed you to her mother.
Ronal cooed while she tended to your wound and you unconsciously poured your heart out about how Ao’nung had pushed you harshly down the sand, scraping your skin on scattered rocks in the process. His friends had laughed at you, pointing their fingers to your fragile form, cowering.
“Maybe he’s being aggressive because he likes you back!” Tsireya reasons, oblivious to what really was the case— but you were only kids, rough housing and games like these were normal so you didn’t know any better either. You wiped your runny nose and took a deep breath.
“You really think so?” and still you were hopeful.
Tsireya nodded enthusiastically, taking your hands near her chest. Ronal softly smiled, rubbing your back in soothing circles. “I’m sorry about Ao’nung, ma __. I’ll be sure to give him a good scolding later when he gets home.”
“And who knows, maybe he does like you. Boys just don’t like to talk about their feelings.” What Ronal said only burned your hopes higher— encouraging your heart to push for a longer run.
Tumblr media
It wasn’t always like this. You and him were best of friends, inseparable and kind. You were a trio along with Tsireya and you absolutely loved spending time with them; swimming, exploring the ocean– being kids. Ever since, you knew he was the one, almost like it was the great mother’s own will. The feelings blossomed every spent time with him and you cherished it wholeheartedly.
“You should eat plenty so that you grow up to be strong, Ao’nung!” You’d force bits of fish near his lips, urging him to open up. He was throwing a tantrum after being scolded by Ronal, arms tightly crossed and refusing to eat anything. “I don’t want a lanky mate!”
And of course it had been a joke. You’d love him regardless of what he looked like and you knew it, but it was so forward of you and it would always catch him off guard. His cheeks would burn bright red and he’d turn into a stuttering mess.
“Mate?” He asked incredulously which you returned with an eager nod. ”That’s grown up talk! Don’t say things like that until we’re older.”
“You’re gonna have so many pretty children!” Tsireya would comment and you both would squeal, oblivious to the frantic young boy.
After he had started to train, Ao’nung was naturally introduced to other warriors. He fit in perfectly. As much as you were happy for him, that was also when things took a turn and before you know it, it was only you and Tsireya left.
Ao’nung thought that what you had for him would be harmless– a silly crush your young heart couldn’t comprehend yet, but you had now grown into a fine woman and the said love had developed just as much. The people weren’t blind to see how you’ve matured so beautifully– but the men your age knew better than to even try to talk to you. Everyone knew you had eyes for Ao’nung and him only, and the way he grew himself had women dote for him.
It drove him crazy; the sly comments, the lingering touch, the gifts– your very presence. He didn’t know how to handle it, so when his heart beat turned frantic everytime, he’d call it frustration. How his face would burn, how his chest would tighten. Ao’nung was conflicted and his mother was right– boys don’t like to talk about their feelings and he never will.
He’d push you away harshly. Snapping the countless bracelets you’ve carefully crafted for him, embarrassing you regardless of eyes watching, and belittled you any chance he gets. Every woman would cry there and then, immediately running off in embarrassment– but you stayed everytime and it infuriated him. Ao’nung couldn’t shake you off, even if you weren’t around. You were everywhere he went, even in dreams.
You sat with him as he sharpened his fishing spear, not even sparing a glance at your presence. “Oel ngati kameie, Ao’nung.”
The silence didn’t falter you. In fact, it was inviting you to continue. You were surprised he hadn’t even got up to leave so you gratefully took the opportunity and handed him a present wrapped in leaves. He dropped his weapon and begrudgingly took it, opening it in one go.
It was a pretty tie with various beads along the strings. His hair was sometimes unruly and he disliked braiding it, so you figured you’d make him something to wear. For a minute, he stared, admiring it– but the way your smile grew every second had embarrassed him. Ao’nung snickered, throwing it carelessly on the ground and you immediately scrambled to look for it.
“I’m not interested.” He emphasized every word as if he tried to make you understand, harshly kicking the sand towards your kneeling body. Ao’nung left and you could only stare with a sigh.
So maybe this time, you were to blame. After all the years he’d push you away, embarrass you in front of his friends, you were still the same stupid shell of a girl who thought he had finally changed– he had finally cracked and you were confident. It was afternoon when they approached you, asking for your presence while they hunted further the reefs. Ao’nung had asked you– Ao’nung.
Nothing else mattered, not even the obvious snickers from the background. You nodded enthusiastically, tripping on your heels as you hurriedly ran back home to get ready. They had already mounted their Ilu when you returned and without a word, you followed them.
So maybe this time, you were to blame. You should’ve known better than to be so trusting– so gullible and naive. Night was approaching quickly and Ao’nung or any of his friends were nowhere to be seen. The thrashing waves would unmercifully shove your small body on the very rock that helped you keep afloat, its harsh and sharp edges scratching your skin. The ocean was reprimanding you, you’ve concluded after trying to hold on for hours– the blame was yours and yours only. Stupid, stupid girl.
They had left you and this time, you knew well enough it had been their intention.
They were laughing back at shore, applauding themselves for a successful prank. You were to return later all disheartened and the sight would be the cherry on top, but Ao’nung grew restless every minute. This was wrong and he knew that well.
His friends had already bid their goodbyes but he stood there, waiting. He started to walk in circles while fidgeting his fingers– something was wrong. Perhaps it was a sibling thing for Tsireya to start feeling uneasy as well, so she excused herself from her mother and seeked for his brother. It wasn’t hard to find him and when she did, her panic only worsened as she approached him.
“What’s wrong, brother?” Tsireya asked, eyebrows knitted together.
“__” He immediately answered, “__ is outside the reef.”
Tonowari and a few warriors immediately ventured out to search for you. Tsireya couldn't even be enraged at his brother as she was busy worrying herself– but Ronal was a different case. She had been biting his ear off the very moment he told her what happened but Ao’nung easily tuned her out, only hearing his rapid heartbeat.
It felt like forever, but the moment his father had returned, he ran towards him straight away. There you were, a warrior propping you up gently as you limped. You were bloodied and out of breath– he winced at the cuts coating your skin. Before he could even approach you, you had flinched.
The look you gave him made him shudder. It was so unlike you to look at him differently, so empty and void of any admiration. Suddenly, his throat was awfully parched and he was entirely unmoving– all the apologies that were begging to be spat out from the tip of his tongue, gone. You stood there, staring with your teary doe eyes.
His presence made you nauseous and you would’ve cowered in instinct, if not for the warrior’s hold on your shoulders. You could’ve died– you almost did; you were already slipping and numb.
Your parents had immediately ran to you, crying as they held you near. They rushed your weary body to Ronal in a heartbeat. The clan spoke in whispers as Tonowari dispersed the growing crowd.
Ao’nung could only watch at your retreating figure. He visibly gulped. This was it, he thought, this was what he wished for.
And it had only hurt him terribly.
Tumblr media
He stayed near the hut regardless and heard how you whimpered– how you’d sniffle and cry. The paste burned against your skin and you couldn’t help but squirm. You felt so ugly, so humiliated and little.
Ronal finally walks out, the sound of the flap waking Ao’nung’s drowsy state. “Mother, how is she?” He receives only a scornful glare as she walks past him.
“Mother, please.”
“I am deeply disappointed in you, Ao’nung” She said, clearly holding back. The tsahik sighed, “but for her sake, I will save you from any more scolding. It is what she asks for.”
And it was so like you to think of him before yourself. It applied more pressure on his already beaten heart and he could only drop his head in shame. This was his fault and he had to face the consequences he so begged for all these years– so where did this sickening desire to hold you close come from? It was bittersweet on his tongue and no water could get rid of the taste.
Tumblr media
“I know that look, brother.” Tsireya didn’t have to glance to see his troubled state. It’s been days– no, weeks. He couldn’t get to you; skilfully blending in with your surroundings and out his sight, scurrying quickly towards another direction– it was clear you wanted nothing to do with him.
It pained him– absolutely shattered him to pieces.
“I can’t reach her, Tsireya.” His frown deepens as he frustratingly tugged on his hair.
“And you will never again!” Ao’nung flinched. As much as Tsireya enjoyed the torment of his brother, she still rooted for the both of you– still standing firm with the fact that you’d do good for him, but she thought of you and knew you also deserved better. With a dejected sigh, she whispers,  “If.. you don’t hurry.”
“Her hideout. Now. Go make things right.” Tsireya hoped she was doing the right thing.
Ao’nung darted in a heartbeat– disrupting the busy clan and accidentally bumping into them. He couldn’t waste any time anymore, he had to get to you or else he’d forever hold his peace. Every step he took was an image of you with someone else; someone else willing to make you happy, someone else to be your mate.
And he hated that. It only fueled him to go faster, eventually reaching a pond surrounded by trees. The place was hidden and only the three of you knew where it was located– it was your safe place.
There you were, relaxed and unknowing. It was cruel like this; for Eywa to strikingly illustrate you in a different light– in a different point of view, or perhaps it had never changed and he just chose to never look at you the way he’s staring now. You were absolutely beautiful, basking in the glow of the dusk. The water swayed you gently and the calm on your face was inviting.
This was his only chance.
Ao’nung approached you, allowing the water to swallow him near you. He called out your name in a whisper and you immediately turned to him in surprise. Before he could even get another word out, you tried to hoist yourself up to escape, but he was quick to grab your wrist.
You hissed in return, his touch burning the healing cuts on your skin. “You don’t get to be sorry.”
You had turned your back on him and only then did he see the same tie that you tried to give him around your hair. It was gut-wrenching– the taste of his own medicine.
“I knew you wanted me off your skin, but I didn’t realize you wanted me gone.” And he knew what you meant, immediately wincing at the thought.
“I’m sorry, __” The apology came out almost in a desperate manner. Ao’nung was aching to touch you– to hug you close. He was willing to apologize forever, if it meant that you’d finally turn around and look at him, but when you did, his body went rigid and he wanted to swallow his words. “Fuck, I’m so sorry.”
You were crying and you looked everywhere but him. He took a step forward and when you didn’t retreat, he took the chance to hold your cheek, caressing it with his thumb. You absolutely hated it– hated him. Even after everything, he was warm. “You don’t get to be sorry.”
“How could you be so,” You hit his chest harshly, the water splashing along your movements, “How could you be so mean?”
“I am young, __” Ao’nung softly said, his eyes on you unmoving. “Young and absolutely stupid.”
“Damn right you are.”
He let out a breathy chuckle. “I never had anyone love me the way you do. Anyone who paid me any mind wanted me for my status– they only wanted the olo'eyktan’s son.”
You turned your head with a click of a tongue, only for him to grab your chin to look at him again. Of course you never wanted him because of his or his parent’s title– you loved him genuinely and he was a coward to not see that. His expression was nothing but sincere and you hated it.
“I am young and stupid, __, so please.” He takes another step forward and you were sure the small gap between your bodies had cut your inability to breathe. The water had gone cold and you couldn’t move. You stayed there, looking up at him. “Let me grow old with you and I promise to be wiser.”
“I see you, __.”

PART III.
Like Tsireya said, Ao’nung did come the next morning. In his tow is his ever loyal companion, Roxto. Ao’nung gave you a look and pulled you back as you watch Tsireya lead the Sullys into the water. As you turn to look at Ao’nung, you didn’t catch the worried glance Neteyam sent your way as Tuk pulled him away.
“I heard from one of the boys that you joined Tsireya? Are the freaks that hard to teach that she asked you for help?” He asked, voice low as he stared at you.
You found yourself staring defiantly at him, something you usually would refrain to do in respect for the Olo-eyktan’s son, but you are not as patient was you were before. “Quit it, Ao’nung. Have some respect. If you didn’t ditch Tsireya and actually did what the Olo-eyktan told you to do, then we wouldn’t be here in this situation. I’m doing what you are supposed to do, skxawng.” You took your arm out of his grasp with an annoyed hiss, giving him a glare as you looked back at Neteyam’s group.
Ao’nung looked at you for a few seconds, grumbling to himself as Roxto interjected.
“They are even worse than babies! They should just go back to the forest, tree hugging freaks…”
Your blood boiled with rage. You believe deep in your heart that Roxto is not a bad person, but he kept challenging these beliefs with his terrible words, and it angers you that Ao’nung allows this to happen. With a frown, you kicked Roxto in his knees, making him almost kneeling. “Stop calling them freaks, Roxto! Don’t make me report your behavior to the Tsahik!”
Roxto wanted to retort as he grimaced and grunted with pain. He was stopped by Ao’nung’s hand. If there’s one thing that can deter these arrogant boys, it’s the Tsahik. With a prick of a sharp object, she can make them paralyzed for days.
Glancing at you for a few seconds, Ao’nung finally spoke. “Fine. Let’s see what these babies can do.”
He didn't even wait for you as he marched towards Tsireya and the Sully children. Roxto gave you a complicated glance before following after Ao’nung like he had replaced the latter’s tail.
Knowing his arrogant nature, you suddenly began doubting whether it was good to bring Ao’nung into this. You should've let him slack off like he wanted, instead of indirecting pulling him in and letting him cause trouble for the newbies.
It's probably fine, right? Tsireya's there to keep them in check.
“Ao’nung, it's nice to finally be in your presence, brother.” Neteyam greeted Ao’nung, then glanced at you in the back, your gazes intertwined for a few seconds.
“Hey,” he greeted you which you reciprocated with a soft hi.
Ao’nung sneered, not bothering to greet back Neteyam as he walked into the water. “You even managed to get her to help you out. It seems that you guys are truly hopeless little babies.”
Tsireya glared at Ao’nung, “Stop being mean and start actually doing something, tsmukan.”
You ignored the two and smiled at the remaining Sully children. Tuk smiled back as she embraced Kiri in the water. Kiri gave you a small reserved smile, but it was still progress. The first time you met her, she barely acknowledged you. Lo’ak was still the same, nodding at you with a smile before giving his brother strange looks.
Walking towards Neteyam, you tamed your wild heartbeat and gently asked. “I’m going to teach you the the final basics of breath-holding. This will be the most crucial part of learning how to stay alive for a long time underwater.”
Neteyam nodded, leaning closer to you as Kiri and Tuk swam towards where Tsireya was located. It was when you finally realized that you had made a mistake. That you approached Neteyam instead of Tuk, separating yourself and Neteyam from the group. You spotted Ao’nung giving you a look that commands you to follow him, but you ignored it.
You looked at Neteyam who looked back at you with calm eyes. If not for his tail flicking and ears perked up, you wouldn't have picked on the fact that he’s actually very eager to learn.
It made you feel less nervous. He enjoys this, and it makes you feel happy.
“F-Follow me then.”
Neteyam gave you a smile, almost teasingly, but there’s still a hint of hesitation as if he was afraid you’d be offended. “Yes, Karyu~”
As you were about to pull his hand, you heard someone yell. “Wait!” Ao’nung approached you two, looking at Neteyam. You can feel the tension picking up as Neteyam gave Ao’nung an unreadable glance. “I’ll come with you. I’ll teach this forest boy,”
“Kehe!” You shouted unconsciously, earning everyone’s attention. You saw Tsireya looking over, seemingly worried.
Ao’nung’s eyes narrowed at you. “Why? I’m the one that supposed to teach these guys, not you.”
“Oh come on, Ao’nung. You don’t even know what to teach. Just go away, help Tsireya or whatever. I can handle this.”
Ao’nung looked surprised with what you said. In fact he didn’t expect for you to refuse him and his help, making him feel flustered for some reason he cannot name.
He didn't seem convinced so you communicated with Tsireya with your fingers. Without hesitation, Tsireya walked briskly and pulled Ao’nung. “Leave her alone, tsmukan. You’ll just distract her.”
Ao’nung looked between you and Neteyam before roughly pulling away from Tsireya’s grasp. Watching him walking away, you also felt complicated. You didn’t even know why you’re so against him being present with your lessons with Neteyam.
Neteyam looked at you before looking at Ao’nung’s back, golden eyes narrowing. “That finger talk, it looks interesting.”
You were awakened from you reverie by his voice. “Yeah, it’s something that reef people must learn, you know, to communicate underwater. If you want I can teach you once we finish the swimming lessons. O-only if you want.”
Neteyam smiled at you, watching your face as it started to look different in shade. “I’d like that.”
On a rock, you sat face to face with Neteyam, trying not to look at his face. Your knees were touching his, you can even feel the temperature that radiated off him, his gentle breaths, the swish of his tail, and the twitching of his ears.
“C-Can I touch you?”
“What?!”
Neteyam’s reaction surprised you. He looked disbelieving as he looked at you with wide golden eyes. He looked genuinely shocked at your question, making you question whether you actually said something inappropriate.
Raising your palms, you tried to explain in haste. “I-I’m sorry. I just wanted to help you understand the basics, but it would require me g-guiding your stomach and chest..."
Now it was his turn to get flustered, hastily avoiding your eyes as he stuttered. “O-oh, okay. Go ahead.”
You tried hard not to let your hand shake, you don’t even know why you are so nervous. You have taught alot of children to get better in breath-holding, so teaching wasn’t new to you. But facing someone like Neteyam messes you up.
With all of your courage, you gently touched the space between his ribs and his stomach. “Take a deep breath here,”
Neteyam inhaled slowly, but he cannot reach form you want to see with his heartbeat being as wild as yours. Your hand shook, and you knew he felt it. You tried to get everything under control but your hand is not listening to you. So you just let it be, and relished at the strong heartbeat under your fingertips.
What a strong heartbeat. A heartbeat of a warrior.
You tried to stifle the smile that’s threatening to emerge in your lips. You cannot show, so you tried to act as if nothing’s wrong. “Neteyam, y-your heart’s beating so fast. Mawey…”
Neteyam stiffened under your hand, his temperature rising in embarrassment. “...I’m sorry, let me try again.”
Listening to the heartbeat and the gentle waves of the water, you gently said. “You must be calm but strong, like the coean. Inhale…”
You can feel Neteyam’s gaze travelling on your facial features, his gaze held a searing heat and you can feel your face burning up because of it. “Exhale, Neteyam.”
“The way of water has no beginning and no end, the sea is around you and in you…water connect all things, life to death, darkness to light…”
Your gaze met with Neteyam’s, intertwined, as the sound of your heartbeats drowned your voice out. In this moment, there’s no ocean, no waves, no breeze. There’s only you and Neteyam, with your heartbeats thrumming in sync.
Tumblr media
Neteyam cannot sleep. In the darkness, he silently walked out of his family’s marui to walk along the shore. It was deep into the eclipse, with only the bioluminescent corals under water as his light. No matter how hard he tried to sleep, his mind is always filled with you face, your smile, your voice, your eyes that is full of unsaid words. He cannot stop thinking about you, even when he kept trying to convince himself that there’s nothing so special about you. You’re just a regular reef na’vi, with a rather reserved and quiet personality.
So Neteyam didn’t really believe Lo’ak when that skxawng told him that he probably liked you that’s why he cannot take you out of his mind. Because if he really likes someone, isn’t Tsireya the most suitable person?
Neteyam isn’t a shallow person, but as the son of the most well-known warrior, he grew up with arrogance natural for his standing and achievements. Someone like Tsireya would be more suitable for him to like, she’s the olo-eyktan’s daughter with good-looks and kind personality. Although he didn’t really like her, he knew that it was only natural if he would fall for her.
Not you. He still doesn’t believe that he had fallen for you. It must have been short-term curiosity for an elusive and mysterious person like you. Heck, he didn’t even know anything about you aside from the fact that you are Tsireya and Ao’nung’s close companion and you study under the awa’atlu’s Tsahik.
So why?
“What why, ma’itan?”
Neteyam almost jumped into the water when Neytiri’s voice rang behind him. “Mom, what are you doing here?!”
Neytiri gave him a pointed glance before sitting beside him in the sand. “I should be the one asking that, Neteyam. What are YOU doing here? In this hour?”
Neteyam looked away and avoided his mother’s eyes. He should’ve known that she’s still awake, or at least alert enough to wake up with just simple movements. When it comes to stealth, she’s always the best in the family.
“Nothing, mom. I-I’m just thinking about the lessons.”
Neytiri hummed, looking at the calm waters and the bright bioluminescent reefs. “Thinking about the lessons, or the person giving the lessons?”
Neteyam almost choked in his own saliva. With embarrassment, he hissed. “Mom! Don’t tell me you also believe Lo’ak and Tuk’s nonsense!”
His mother chuckled as she hugged her oldest son’s shoulder. “Is it really nonsense? There still must be a reason why they said that. Your sister Kiri also told me you were having fun with her today, totally forgetting your siblings.”
Are they for real? Even you, Kiri? Neteyam grimaced. “They’re jumping into conclusions. I-I, W-we’re just friends. I don’t like her like that. I barely know her.”
The woman smiled at her son’s embarrassed appearance. “I didn’t say you like her.”
This time, Neteyam was truly silenced. He didn’t know what to say.
“When I first met your father, I wanted to kill him. There’s anger and hatred for him and his kind in my heart, but I must admit there’s something complex in there too. Something I cannot explain before. Who would’ve thought we’ll come this far? With four lovely children.”
Neteyam looked at his mother before looking down at the sand on his feet. “You and dad told us about your love story million times already.”
“But do you understand what I mean, ma’itan? What I want you to understand is that there’s no use dwelling on thoughts that Eywa clearly hasn’t given you answers for. Wait for everything to unfold, and while doing so, have fun. Experience life with Eywa’s guidance, you know Eywa has plans for you. Don’t think about it too much. Like your father once said, go with the flow.”
Neytiri loves her son, she loves all her children. Neteyam is still young, but since he was young enough to understand, expectations are already heavy on his shoulders. So although, she does not know you enough to trust you with Neteyam’s heart, she’s still happy to help her son out if it means he’ll get the fun time he, as a young boy, deserves. It’s the least thing she can do for him as his mother.
Neteyam watched his mother walked back to their marui, before sighing deeply and standing up. Perhaps this time he can finally get some rest. May Eywa guide him in this confusing times.
Tumblr media
You knew something was wrong when you didn’t see Ao’nung and his friends in their usual spot. So against your better judgement, you ran to the place you knew the Sully’s would be. You didn’t even know why you were running and feeling anxious, but when you saw Ao’nung and his friends picking on Kiri, you knew your intuition were spot on.
“Hey! Back off, fish lips!” Lo’ak shouted, making Ao’nung and his friends turn their attention to him.
Seeing who it was, Ao’nung laughed. “Oh, another four-fingered freak~”
One of Ao’nung’s friends grabbed Lo’ak tail, laughing as he pulled it hard. “Look at this baby tail!”
Despite Lo’ak pushing them away, they kept mocking him, calling his tail baby tail in sing–song voice. They ignored Kiri’s plea, so you ran and pushed one of Ao’nung’s friends. “Enough! Stop this!”
Ao’nung looked at you and sneered. “What are YOU doing here?  Move and don’t meddle with our business!”
“This is MY business! You’re being too much, Ao’nung! What you are doing is disgraceful!”
Your words seem to have an effect on Ao’nung as he became visibly angry. He walked in front of you and pointed Lo’ak and Kiri. “You really like this freaks, huh? Pissing me off and siding with these tree-hugging fr—”
A rough push from behind you forces Ao’nung to take several steps back. You didn’t have to turn around to see who it was as his voice rang above your head, low and dangerous. “You heard what she said. Leave them alone. Back. Off. Now.”
Ao’nung’s friends wanted to speak, but Ao’nung held his hand up, staring straight to Neteyam.
As you were about to move aside, Neteyam’s hand landed on you shoulder, making you immobile. “And from now on, you need to respect my siblings.”
His voice hinted his authority over Ao’nung, for he was a full-fledged warrior. You felt relief with his presence. Thankfully, no one got hurt, at least physically.
Ao’nung and his friends stared at Neteyam, while Kiri stuck her tongue out in mockery. Seeing their expression, Neteyam finally removed his hand on your shoulder, as if to urge you to walk back with him to his siblings.
You can feel Ao’nung’s stare in your back as you walked with Neteyam. Sure enough, one of his friends complained. “Brother, why is she helping this family of freaks? Isn’t she supposed to be in your side, not these fr–”
You froze, making Neteyam look at you questioningly. Lo’ak, who’s nearest to Ao’nungs group finally snapped and began walking back. It made Neteyam curse under his breath, knowing full well what’s about to go down.
“Lo’ak,” Neteyam called, both worried and warning his brother to not make trouble.
“I got this bro,” Lo’ak looked at Ao’nung straight in the face. “I know this hand looks funny. Look, I’m a freak, alien,”
Ao’nung and his friends laughed, but Lo’ak continued. “But I can do something really cool. First, I ball it up real tight like this. Then—”
BAM! BAM! BAM!
“That’s called a punch, bitch!”
You gasps as Ao’nung fell on the water, looking astonished. He and his face immediately charged and tackled Lo’ak, making Neteyam join the fight. You tried holding his forearm to stop him, but you missed.
The fight become chaotic. Pulling, kicking, slapping. Just one big mess, as you heard Kiri giggle in the background. You tried pulling Ao’nung away from Neteyam, but got hit in the face in the process. Both Ao’nung and Neteyam pause, before fighting even more ferociously.
“Stop! Enough!” Tonowari’s voice boomed, stopping all the commotion in just few words.
Oh, Eywa, what a mess.
Tumblr media
Neteyam winced as his tongue made contact with his cut. Some parts of his body was aching, but like that night, he find it hard to sleep again. He suddenly missed their life in the forest, where no one would dare to pick on him and his family, where people genuinely treats them with respect, where he was still the olo-eyktan’s son.
“Neteyam,” He didn’t turn around. He knew it was you before you even called his name.
You sat down beside him, he didn’t look at you but he also didn’t move away. Neteyam waited for you to speak.
“Can I help you with your cut?”
Neteyam looked at you for a second and saw the concern in your eyes. It didn’t escape his eyes, the bruise on your cheek. His stomach flipped, feeling upset. He found it hard to refuse, so he relented. “Fine. Only if you allow me to help you back with that nasty bruise.”
You smiled. “Sure.” You felt nervous touching his face, but your concern for him won over your anxiety. With gentle touch, you spread the salve on the cut on his lips, trying not to look in his eyes in fear that you’ll lose focus. For a moment, you relished in the silence between you and Neteyam, fully immersed in each other’s company.
“You don’t have to compensate for Ao’nung, it is not your fault.” He broke the silence when you finished putting salve in his lips.
You paused before smiling at him as you looked into his eyes. You know you had to, so he’ll know you are saying the truth. “Believe it or not, I’m not doing this for that skxawng. I’m not here to compensate for his terrible personality and bad decisions, I-I…”
You paused, suddenly uncertain if you should continue. You continued anyway. “...I’m doing this for m-me. Because I c-care for you.”
Neteyam’s heart thrummed against his chest, but he tried playing it off as he chuckled nervously. “...I’m sorry, I thought…”
You waved your hands. “I’m sure you have an idea now, about you know? My identity.” You didn’t wait for him to respond as you gazed at the ocean, smiling wryly to yourself.
“I’m the only child of my warrior father and a weaver mother. They both died when awa’atlu was attacked by a group of akulas. I was an ‘eveng, so my grandfather took me. He’s an elder trusted by the Olo-eyktan, but he’s often away doing trades with the other nearby clans. He arranged me with Ao’nung in hopes of securing my future. No one asked me what I wanted, no one cared. But Neteyam…this is a shackle, not a path for the future.”
You don’t expect Neteyam to understand, but he did anyway. At first, his fingers grazed with yours, until he slowly intertwined his fingers with yours. You looked at him, too many unspoken words you cannot say, because if you do, it may ruin you and Neteyam’s life forever.
“Oel ngati kameie,” He whispered, as he gazed back at you. “As the son of Toruk Makto, everyone’s expectation of me was to surpass or at least become as mighty as my father. I love my family, and I’d do everything for them. But it gets tiring too, you know? Being expected to accomplish this and that, without a second to breathe. I’d still do it though, if it means keeping my family together.”
Your admiration for Neteyam grew even stronger. You can never be like him, who’s brave enough to do what must be done for the sake of his loved ones. “I admire you. At least you are brave enough to face it, while all I do is run.”
His grip on your hand tightened. “You can still change it, no?”
You didn’t reply, and Neteyam doesn’t seem to expect any. He just took the salve in your hands and began spreading it on your bruised cheek. “Little miss protector, always remember not to interrupt boys fighting okay?”
You giggled and it made him chuckle. When he was finished, he secured the salve in your satchel and urged you to go sleep. You were reluctant, but still nodded. You want Neteyam to have a rest.
After a few steps, you ran back and stood face to face with him, “Can we meet tomorrow here, same time? I want you to see something special to me.”
Neteyam didn’t hesitate and agreed with a smile. He brushed a stray hair and tucked it in your ears. “Sure. I’ll see you tomorrow then.”
“Oel ngati kamiei, Neteyam.” Then, you ran to your marui without looking back, feeling giddiness you have never felt before, unaware of the pair of eyes watching you and Neteyam from afar.

🔞Minors Do Not Interact🔞
A/N: Okay so I'm reposting this because I found out that the person who requested it was a minor and I don't play that shit on my blog. I am only for adults. So if you liked the old post, that one is gone now. All characters are aged up.
Pairing: Ao'nung x Fem!Sully!Reader
Warnings: Teasing, Smut, P in V, Rut Cycle, Breeding Kink, Choking, Creampie, Binding, Marking, Scenting, Blood, Belly Bulge, I think that's everything.
Word Count: 3.2k
Summary: Ao'nung has teased you relentlessly since your family came here. What happens when you stumble across him in the midst of his rut?
This felt like some kind of living nightmare. You and your family having to flee your home in the forest and come to the sea. Uprooting your entire lives, leaving everything you knew, forgetting who you were, and coming to start from scratch. The Metkayina way of life was beautiful and their village is wonderful in its own way, but it still doesn’t feel like home. Not even close. The one good thing that’s come out of this whole thing was meeting Tsireya. She’s been a welcome comfort for you and your siblings while you adjust to your new lives here.
She’s warm and bright and patient. It makes you wonder how someone so radiant could ever be related to someone like Ao’nung. Just the taste of his name in your mouth was enough to make you scrunch your face in annoyance. He was always just a pain to everyone, but a lot of times it felt like he put extra effort into tormenting you as Neteyam’s 5-fingered twin. The way your dad explained it, apparently twins are a human thing that can happen sometimes. The na’vi aren’t really familiar with the concept since it doesn’t occur naturally for them, but here you stood. The exception to the rule. And Ao’nung never let you hear the end of it.
Over the months, you learned to ignore him and tune out his endless teasing. Occasionally, when he would get tired of being ignored, he knew which buttons to press to get a response from you. Today was one of those days.
You sat out on the beach with Tsireya and Tuk and your mood sours when you notice Ao’nung walking your way. “Tuk, how about you go feed some of the ilu with Tsireya?” you suggested to her. You can tell what kind of mood he’s in from the mischievous glint in his eye. Her face lit up with pure joy.
“Can we?” she says to Tsireya.
“Of course. Come with me.” She holds her hand out for Tuk to take and you watch as she happily trails behind her into the water. The sight is enough to momentarily warm your heart before you have to harden yourself to deal with Ao’nung.
“Oh, am I not invited to join the party?” he drips sarcasm.
“I don’t need her getting caught up in your bullshit.”
He shrugs his shoulders and holds up his hands, “I wouldn’t mess with her. As far as I can see, she’s the only one of you that seems like a true na’vi.” You set your jaw and take a deep breath trying to center yourself.
“I mean the whole lot of you came out weird. Especially you. She wasn’t born with a weird extra finger or a spare copy. That child is more na’vi than you will ever be.”
He hit that button. You snap and hiss at him in warning. He’s unphased staring back at you with an amused smirk. He found it adorable to watch you get so worked up. And he loved being the one to get you worked up. “Fuck off” you snap at him before walking the other way towards the water with Tsireya and Tuk. Ao’nung turns on his heels and walks away feeling satisfied.
“I swear, Tsireya, I cannot understand for the life of me how you can be related to that!” you gesture back towards the shore at Ao’nung’s retreating figure.
“I know my brother can be a lot. He only teases because he thinks you are pretty.”
You roll your eyes, “That has to be the dumbest thing ever.” She giggles a little, “I never said he was smart, but it is the truth. Why do you think he’s always going out of his way to find you all the time?”
Tuk looks up at you, “Is Ao’nung going to be your boyfriend?”
You fake gag at her question, “Absolutely not Tuk Tuk. Now, show me how well you feed the ilu.”
Later on at dinner with the village, you sit with your family while they all talk amongst themselves. You’re not really paying attention to the conversation since you’re still a little agitated. Your eyes scan over all the people surrounding you and how happy they all look and wonder if eventually you’ll find that same kind of happiness. Or at least something close to it.
Rolling over the people, your eyes are met with a pair staring back. Ao’nung watches you from the other side of the bonfire. His face is serious and his breathing is heavy enough for you to see the dramatic rise and fall of his shoulders from here. What’s his problem? If anybody should be staring someone down, it was you. A nudge to your arm brings your attention back to your family. Neteyam is next to you giving you a questioning look. “It’s nothing ‘Teyam.”
“I think you forget, we have known each other since before we were brought into this world. I know you well enough to know that it is not nothing.” It was true. Neteyam knew you better than anyone. Whether that was because of him being your twin or because he took his role as the oldest so seriously, who knows. Most of the time, you’re actually pretty grateful that Neteyam could understand you so easily.
“Tsireya said something earlier and it messed with my head.”
“What did she say?” he scoots closer to you so that your conversation can be kept between you two instead of the whole family.
“She said…she said that Ao’nung thinks I’m pretty or something and that’s why he’s always teasing.” “Well duh. As much as I hate to say it, it is pretty obvious that he has a thing for you. And you’re not so innocent in all of this either.”
“’Teyam!” you are taken back by such an offensive suggestion. First Tsireya and now your own brother?
“You might not notice, but I do. Yes, he’s always picking at you, but you love this little game that you two play. It’s nauseating.” His tone is teasing, but he means it.
Ridiculous. How could you ever want someone like that? Your head turns to look back over at him, but he’s gone. You look around between the seemingly endless sea of people and can’t find a single sign of him. That’s weird, but you’re glad that maybe now you could continue on with your meal without eyes burning into the side of your face.
Looking around your marui, the rest of your family is peacefully sleeping. You had no idea how they did it. You couldn’t stop your mind from constantly analyzing all the ways that this place was so different from home and that thought literally kept you up at night. It had become something of a routine for you to sneak out on nights like this after everyone else was asleep. You’d tiptoe out of the pod and wander out into the forest by the beach.
It was nice here. It was the one thing here that reminded you of home. The plants and fruits were different, but the atmosphere was similar enough to give you some comfort. In particular, there was one large tree that you would visit most nights. You’d climb and sit on one of the giant outstretched branches and just listen to the sounds of the night.
This is everything right here. This is what helps you feel like you can finally breathe. At least, until you hear a scream in the distance. Immediately, your instincts put you on high alert. You stand from your spot on the branch with your knife in hand and look around as far out as you can see. A faint orange glow catches your eye from the mouth of a cave not far from you. That’s odd. Who else would be out here at this time? And why do they sound like they’re in pain?
You know that it’s probably not the smart thing to go investigate, but you’d also never forgive yourself if someone got hurt and you could’ve prevented it. You climb down and make your way through the forest towards the light you saw.
The closer you get, the more you can start to smell something in the air. It reminds you of fresh rain on tree bark. It’s almost sweet. You follow the scent to the opening of the cave, “Hello? Do you need help in there?” Your voice echoes around the inside of the cave and you’re only met with groans of pain for a response. “I’m coming in!” You grip the handle of your knife a little tighter before taking a step in. The glow grows brighter and finally a small fire comes into your vision.
You were already on edge, but the next thing you saw was what fully threw you off balance. It was Ao’nung. He was sweating so much you thought he might dehydrate himself, his hands were bound behind his back, and he was writhing around in pain. “Ao’nung?” His eyes snap to you and he looks completely different. Instead of his usual sea blue color, his eyes looked a deep purple.
“What are you doing here?” he’s out of breath trying to get the words out.
“I heard you yelling from almost a mile away, I thought somebody needed help. Believe me, I wouldn’t have wasted my time if I knew it was just you.” You cross your arms and shift your weight to one foot and his eyes watch the swing of your hips intently. He sucks in a sharp breath and doubles over. Your eyebrows knit together trying to understand what’s happening. “What is your deal?” You catch sight of a bulge poking through his loincloth and finally the last piece slots into place. “Oh shit…it’s your rut.”
He just nods his head since his mouth is too busy salivating.
Now it makes sense. The weird way he was behaving during dinner, the sweet smell in the air, and the hungry look on his face.
“Well, shouldn’t you be at home? I mean why the hell are you all the way out here like this?”
He shakes his head. “Too much…Need to stay away…”
Your chest tightens with a pang of sympathy for him. You’ve gone through many heat cycles without relief and it is excruciating. The suffering is unmatched. There’s only one thing that truly takes the pain away.
“This is crazy. I’m cutting you out of these.” You start to move towards him, but he tries to shuffle away from you.
“I don’t think you get it. If you cut me out of these binds, I won’t be able to stop myself. So don’t do it unless you’re ready to deal with what comes after.”
“I’m a big girl, Ao’nung. You think I don’t know what I’m doing?” you roll your eyes at him and move towards him again. “I mean it. This is the last warning I’ll be able to give you.” His tone is serious and his eyes are focused. But you don’t falter. You swallow down your nerves and continue forward. “Just shut up and let me do this, okay? Before I change my mind.” You crouch in front of him and reach around to his wrists. “Honestly, I don’t know why I’m even helping you. You’ve been nothing but a pain in my ass since I got here. But luckily for you, I’m feeling generous.”
You saw away at his bindings and your chest presses into his face. He inhales your scent and his hips twitch searching for something to grind against.
Before you cut all the way through, you pull back and look him in the face. His face tries to chase after your chest, but his restraints keep him in place. “This is the one and only time I’m helping your ass. Got it?” He can’t even bring his eyes up to yours when he nods his head. You tsk at yourself for getting mixed up in this mess, but there’s no turning back after your knife cuts through his ties.
His arms immediately fold around your waist and pull you into his lap so that you’re straddling him. He buries his face deeper into your chest breathing you in. “Chill the fuck out. Your scent is going to get all over me.” You try to crane your neck back, but a strong hand grips your throat and pulls you back forward.
“That’s kind of the fucking point.” His voice is a dark growl against your skin. His tongue drags a long stripe from the middle of your chest up to your collarbone and even further up to your ear. Your breath grows shaky. “You talk so much shit, but look at how your body reacts to me.”
“Shut up.” Your voice comes out more desperate than you mean for it to. He was right and you hated that fact most of all.
He’s growing impatient when his hands hold your hips and start grinding you into him. You let his hands guide you to where it feels best for him. His bulge presses against your clit with every drag.
He kisses and sucks on your neck and you just know he’s going to leave a mark. “Don’t…everybody will know…”
He only chuckles at your pathetic plea, “Everybody will know when you’re walking around carrying my baby.” He pushes his hips up against you and he can feel how you’re soaking through your own loincloth and his too. The waiting finally gets to be more than he can bear and he pulls his tewng to the side to finally free his impossibly hard dick. You feel yourself desperately clench around nothing. He pulls yours to the side and he lines himself up with your begging hole. You take a big breath to brace yourself, but you were not prepared for him to slam you down onto him in one swift motion and you scream out in surprise.
“Fuuuck…” he groans out feeling the way your walls frantically squeeze around him. You’re given no time to adjust before he’s lifting your hips up and down on his own.
It’s too much. It’s like he’s tickling the bottom of your ribs. When you finally take a real breath, all that comes out is a filthy moan. Looking down, you can see the imprint of his tip poking through your skin right at your navel. It’s unlike anything you’ve ever seen.
“Haah…fuck…Ao’nung…”
Ao’nung needs more. More friction, more of your sweet noises, more everything. That’s all his mind can think of right now. Just how much he needs you right now. He lays you down on the floor of the cave to give himself better access to pound into you.
His eyes are burning into your face and the eye contact is too much for you. It’s too embarrassing. You turn your head to find something else to look at, but he won’t have that. His fingers grip your jaw and turn your face back towards him. “Look at me. Take it.” He emphasizes his point by tightening his hold on your throat. Between his merciless thrusting, the intense eye contact, and his fingers around your throat, you can feel your orgasm quickly approaching. It makes you feel lightheaded and even as your vision starts to blur, you never move your eyes from his face.
Just before your consciousness slips away, he releases his hold on your neck and moves his hands down to massage your breasts. He nuzzles his face in the crook of your neck and bathes you in his scent to mark you even further. His teeth sink into your skin deep enough to draw blood. He goes mad at the taste of your blood spilling onto his tongue.
“Oh, I’ve always wanted to fuck this perfect little body. Just watch you take it over and over. Fuck, I want to give you a baby.”
Was this just his rut talking? Or did he actually mean it? You couldn’t be sure anymore.
His pace gets faster and his groans get louder. “Fuck, I’m gonna fill this little pussy up.” His grip on your body is so tight, the veins in his arm are bulging out.
“Ah! Ao’nung! Yes!” your head falls back and your legs shake as you fall into your release. The way you clamp down around his dick pushes him over the edge and thick ropes of white spill over into your womb. It feels like fire in your veins, but it’s addicting.
Ao’nung keeps thrusting into you languidly trying to ensure he fucks as much cum back into you as he can.
He collapses on top of your heaving chest with closed eyes and you stare down at his face to try and check his condition. When he looks back at you, you breathe a sigh of relief seeing his normal blue shade. Never did you think you’d actually be happy to see Ao’nung in any circumstance.
“You okay?” you ask cautiously. He nods still catching his breath. “Great…You wanna get out of me now?”
“Oh, right.” He lifts himself up and pulls out of you and a primal part of his brain is pleased to see that none of his seed spilled out of you.
You stand to fix your clothing and hair. “So, you can go home now, right?”
He scoffs a bit more to himself than at you, “My ruts last 3 days. I am fine for now, but there’s no telling how long it’ll last for. I have to stay here until I’m out of it.”
All the nerves in your body come alive with…something you can’t readily identify right now. “Oh…I see…”
“So you’ll know where to find me if you’re ever feeling generous again.” He winks at you and you know that your face is flushed.
“You wish, fish boy.” And with that, you turn and leave back to your home. Thankfully, it’s still hours away from sunrise so everyone is still asleep. You stealthily slip back into your marui, but of course one person’s ears perk up.
“What are you doing?” Neteyam whispers to you. Shit.
“Nothing.”
“Why do you smell like that?” he asks. Shit shit shit.
“Don’t worry about it, ‘Teyam. Just go back to sleep.” You lay down and hope that will be the end of it. Neteyam knows better, but he’s far too tired to go back and forth with you about it right now in the middle of the night.
You finally get the best night of sleep you’ve had since coming here.
The next morning, you all have the day off of training so you get to hang around at home instead. You sit on the edge with your feet hanging over into the water. Jake comes and sits next to you, “You okay, baby girl?”
You smile softly to yourself at the nickname. You loved it, but you also felt like you were getting a bit old for it. “I’m okay, dad. I’m just still getting used to it here.”  He nods in understanding. “But I think I’m starting to settle in.”

FORGIVE YOU
Tumblr media
thankuu smm for giving me this prompt, i had lots of fun with it. ao'nung is not as babygirl and he is more stupid meanie bf.
Tumblr media
Cold, alone, and restless. That is what the last few weeks have consisted of every time you tucked yourself into the hammock for two. Only being used by one.
Ao’nung says he’ll be back before it is too dark, the stars in the sky being the only light that shines on your village. He says that he won’t get caught up with his friends, he will always be back to sleep right next to you.
But he isn’t. And he hasn’t been for days.
So now you lay with your back turned to the entryway of your shared home, listening to Ao’nung’s voice get closer. Laughing boisterously as if he didn’t care he has left you alone for another night.
You wanted to get up and scream at him. Maybe you would do it in the morning. The night begs you to sleep but your mind screams to argue with Ao’nung. To express the weight of his actions and how they ache your poor heart.
He walked in, large smile immediately dropping as he saw your tired form swaying softly on your shared hammock. He knew he said he’d be back to be with you, he knew he had betrayed your trust once again, and he knew he was hurting you.
He large feet padded against the fabric floor, the only sounds were his anxious breathing followed with your soft disappointed sighs.
“Flower…I’m sorry.” His hand rested on your shoulder, begging you to face him so you could sense his sincerity.
“You said you were going to be here with me tonight.” You looked away, staring harshly into the wall you faced. Your heart was beating as the confrontation of his actions teetered closer to you.
“I know. And I messed up…I am sorry.” Turning towards him, still laying in the hammock, glassy eyes fixated on his guilt ridden face.
“How many times am I supposed to forgive you?” He winced at your words, escaping your tongue, and lashing him in the heart.
“Just this once, I- I won’t do it again.” Rolling your eyes you scoffed. You couldn’t believe a word coming out of his mouth. How could you?
“How can I trust you? You have done nothing but lie and break your word.” His heart tore just like he had torn yours. How he wished he would’ve looked into the sky more to recognize it was time to go back home. Back home so his beautiful mate was not left to deal with the absence of his presence. Where he could treasure the moments they shared and not create memories of breaking your heart into two.
“I will show it to you. I promise.”
You pursed your lips, tired of the arguing. No longer wanting to talk about this, your body yearned for sleep. You shuffled over in the hammock, making room for Ao’nung. He was your mate, your other half, souls intertwined. You could talk about this in the morning.
“Let’s just sleep. I don’t want to talk about this anymore.” Ao’nung frowned, he knew you were still upset. He knew you would talk this out in the morning, but he wished that when he shared this hammock with you, that you were not sharing despair. That is his own fault.
“I’m sorry flower.” He reiterated again as he slipped in behind you, arms hovering over your body, not sure if he still held the right to hold you.
You could feel his hesitance, and you couldn’t deny how much you craved his warmth for so long, Days of being without it. You lightly squeezed his hand, showing that even if in a fight he is still your mate, you would sort this out in the morning.
But now you let your bodies melt into each other, filling the tears in the other hearts, as Ao’nung hoped you would forgive him one last time.

Hiii, how are you??
If its okay with you i would like to resquest a platonic yandere of either the Sully's or tonowari family(whichever you prefer) when their youngest child (reader) comes home injuries because of some bullies
How would they react??
(if you can't do it or don't feel comfortable its completely fine)
— 𝔀𝓱𝓮𝓷 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓷𝓰𝓮𝓼𝓽 𝓰𝓮𝓽𝓼 𝓱𝓾𝓻𝓽 — (sully family, tonowari family x platonic!reader) | separate
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
requested: yes
pairing: sully familly x gn!reader, tonowari family x gn!reader
tags: platonic, yandere, youngest sibling, youngest child, just a doting family
warnings: lowercase intended, mentions of torture but not elaborated, injuries
a/n: characters are aged up! hi there! i'm doing very well, thank you very much. i just came back from class and i got a few more ask after this so i'm very inspired in making and answering them. hope you enjoy this!
word count: 946
+ gif not mine. ctto.
Tumblr media
sully family:
being the youngest in the sully family has its perks. having 5 protective older siblings i’m adding spider ‘cause i can is fun! y/n has friends to play with them, someone who looks after them when their parents aren’t available, and their life is never boring
but when they came home crying, their knees scraped and bleeding after being pushed by their bullies during the kid’s nursery (i imagine there’s a nursery class that is just the na’vi kids interacting for early socialization in the clan)
their knees hurt, and their elbow also scraped due to the impact of the push, just crying that so, so, and so pushed them during nursery
neytiri was fuming, to say the least. no one messes with her baby. no one
jake was trying to calm his mate, reminding her that those are just kids and they mess up from time to time. it’s the parents you should get mad at because they didn’t raise their kids right
neytiri would then blame the kids’ parents for raising rotten kids that bullied her youngest and would threaten the parents if their kids bully her baby again
jake, on the other hand, would threaten the livelihood of the parents. would hold their family’s place in the clan above their heads and wouldn’t hesitate to banish them. to hell if they get killed by the animals that lurked in the dark
kiri was cleaning up y/n’s booboos while neteyam held his baby sibling
lo’ak plans on tripping said kids by holding his foot out and acting like he didn’t do anything (petty but hey, it’s a small way to get back at the kids)
spider would distract y/n by talling them stories that happened back in the lab. they loved hearing all the sciency human stuff and hearing them from spider was fun and he would probably join lo’ak on the pettiness
tuk was quickly weaving some bracelets to help her baby sibling calm down. she will do anything and everything to help her only baby sibling out
if said bullies had older siblings that are learning to be a warrior or a tsahik, neteyam and kiri would sabotage them. neteyam would destroy the weapons that the siblings had created for the training while kiri would add herbs and slimes that messes up the medicine the siblings would create mo’at gets disappointed at the bullies’ siblings for messing up their works
but, if we say that y/n is younger than lo’ak by a year (around 13) and took tuk’s place as the youngest, that’s another story
jake and neytiri would be the last to know that they’re being bullied by other na’vi’s because y/n begged their siblings to not tell their parents
neteyam and lo’ak would beat those bullies up to a pulp. they didn’t care if their dad would tell them off afterward. what matters is that they don’t get to harm their siblings ever again
kiri would destroy their image if said bullies were training to be a tsahik. she would tell mo’at a lot of things that would slowly hurt their character then, later on, would be told off and not be thought by mo’at
spider would join neteyam and lo’ak at one point but then again, he’s small while teen na’vi’s were hella tall so he becomes neteyam and lo’ak’s hypeman
overall: the sully family wouldn’t mind beating a few na’vi’s up when protecting their youngest. sully’s stick together!
Tumblr media
tonowari family:
y/n is the kid that didn’t have to do much to impress the family. they could just breathe and tonowari would throw a whole feast to celebrate it
ronal is a very doting mother. although a warrior and seen as a very serious tsahik, she would smile whenever she sees her youngest. also very protective. like, super duper protective that no one besides their family can interact with their youngest. if you do, she’d wave your head up on her spear and set it as a reminder to the rest that if you do mess with her youngest, you’ll be next
tonowari is much more doting than ronal but if the softer version. instead of being violent like his mate, he would rather let nature do the violence. why get the blood on your fingers when pandora can do the work? he didn’t want to hold his baby with the blood of their bullies
ao’nung is no different from their mother. but instead of giving the easier end, he would rather beat them up and keep them alive just to prolong to torture. torture = honoring his sibling’s existence
tsireya is the most normal of the bunch. but if she hears that her sibling is messed with, just knows the whole family is coming for their head. she would be with her sibling and distracting them while the family ‘talks’ with said bullies
so when one-day y/n comes home severely injured by her bullies, all hell broke loose
the parents of said bullies were held off by other metkayina’s while they watched ao’nung, rotxo, and a few other of their friends beat up the bullies
ronal was held back by tonowari because if he didn’t, ronal would’ve hurt the parents of the bullies or worse
tonowari eventually forcefully removed the family that tormented his youngest child because if he gives them a chance, his child might get hurt again and he’s not taking that risk
tsireya was tending y/n’s wounds and reassuring them that the bullies won’t hurt them again because their parents will send them away
tdrl: you hurt tonowari and ronal’s youngest, and you leave severely beaten up

Tumblr media
When you had first arrived at Awa'atlu, Ao’nung had pegged you as the silent, strong-willed eldest daughter of the Sully family. During training you only ever kept to yourself, practicing on your own as soon as you mastered whatever technique they were teaching you that day. You weren’t rude, just very stand-offish.
So stand-offish to the point where not even his insults or antics could get a reaction out of you. It drove him mad, really. Your other siblings, save for probably Neteyam, had given him the reaction that he had expected, wanted even. He thrived on attention, be it bad or good – it’s what made him feel confident.
So when you arrived here, paying him no mind, his brain had gone haywire. He tried doing everything he could – jokes, pranks, and hell, even compliments for minor achievements. Those didn’t work, and he was just about to give up on garnering anything out of you until today happened. He hadn’t seen it coming.
Tumblr media
He had spotted you and Kiri by the shore, sitting together as you admired the sand. Ao’nung was aware that this environment was new to you, yet he still found it strange how you always managed to be so entranced by every single thing. He murmured something to his friends, and they snickered at his words.
You turned then, your bright yellow eyes looking at all of them with disinterest. He flashed you a smile and again you did nothing, not even an eye roll. He felt it falter, though he kept it up as soon as your sister lifted herself out of the water.
“Huh? What’d you say?” She asked, her tone so welcomingly friendly.
“Are you some kind of… freak?” He teased, his hands coming up to grab her arm.
“No,” She answered flatly, trying to pull herself out of his grasp.
He waved it around then, as if it were some toy. His friends all laughed at your sister’s hand, treating her like some kind of deformity. You quickly pulled her out of their circle, your face slowly forming a scowl. His eyes widened slightly as he took note of your reaction – success? Not quite, but nearly. He continued on with his antics, hoping that today would finally be the day he got something out of you.
You didn’t understand why Ao’nung was so fixated on treating you and your family like shit. He was a menace, and you honestly couldn’t believe you’d made it this far without retaliating against him. You wanted to yell at them to stop, but you knew that you would only be provoking them.
“Are you sure? I mean, you’re not even real na’vi.” Ao’nung continued, his hand now coming up to pull on your tail.
You yelped, instantly turning to face him. If looks could kill, he would’ve been dead the moment you laid eyes on him. You hated it when strangers touched you without warning, let alone people you hated. Eywa, you wanted nothing more than to smack the entitlement out of this boy. But still you remained silent, opting to just walk away from the situation.
You heard your brothers then, suddenly joining the crowd. Lo’ak guided the both of you further away while Neteyam stopped whatever else was about to fly out of Ao’nung’s mouth. Your scowl remained though, and you kept your death stare focused on him and his circle of idiots.
“And from now on,” Neteyam concluded, his expression just as pissed as yours, if not, even more. “I need you to respect my sisters.”
He made eye-contact with you briefly, and something about the look in his eyes told you that he had no intention of keeping his word. You scowled even deeper.
One of his friends actually had the gall to hiss at your brother, though Ao’nung had made the smart choice of holding him off. Neteyam made his way back to you now, gesturing for you guys to head back to the village. And you were going to– really, you were, but Ao’nung just couldn’t keep his damn mouth shut.
“Look at them, they’re all freaks. Especially quiet girl,” He said, his tone hushed but loud enough for you to still hear. “She’s already a four-fingered freak, what more if she can’t even handle a little tug.”
He had his back turned to you as you stomped angrily towards him, your fist already clenched at your side. His friends had no time to warn him as you angrily jerked his shoulder, making him face you.
“[Y/N] leave it be!” Kiri begged, but it was already too late.
You decked him, hard. He stumbled as he fell, landing straight into the shallow water. He blinked slowly as he regained whatever balance he had left, his hand coming up to caress his cheek. Everyone looked at you in shock. In your entire stay with the Metkayina clan, never did you act out this rashly before. In fact, you never acted out at all.
“Four-fingered freak, you say?” Your tone was taunting him, your tail swinging rapidly as you tried your best to keep yourself at bay. “You mean the freak who just put you on your ass?”
His friends hissed at you, already lunging towards your direction for the insult. They didn’t make it two steps in as your brothers had already stepped in for you, swinging hits left and right. You were pushed out of the way, and you staggered backwards until you were next to Kiri again.
She gave you a look, and though you were older than her it felt like you were the younger one moments away before getting a scolding. In the end you had to pry your brothers away, eventually meeting up with your father by one of the pathways. All of you, except for Kiri, kept your heads bowed as you listened to your father’s words of displeasure.
To say he looked disappointed would be an understatement. He was pissed, yes, but more importantly he was embarrassed. He had asked of you guys one thing, and you had tried so hard to live up to your promise of respect. But today was your last straw.
You could tell your father was torn between having to scold you or let you go with just a warning. He knew now of Ao’nung’s torment, yet he didn’t want to jeapordize the safety the village provided for your family.
Wanting to fix this mess immediately, he walked the three of you to the chief’s marui. You sighed and closed your eyes as you walked, mad at yourself for even escalating this stupid situation in the first place. You had everything under control, but all it took was one tail tug and a few harsh words to have your composure come crashing down.
Tumblr media
Ao’nung leaned on the side of his marui now, watching as you and your brothers apologized for your actions. He held a cloth with medicinal paste against his cheek, his cuts stinging as he continued to dab it on. His mother and father stood beside him, their presence the only thing keeping him from mumbling any more digs at you.
You were the last to speak, and he could tell that you didn’t want to do this. You took a few moments before you finally looked up at him, your eyes filled with such resentment. The hand you had used to give him the bruising wound below his eye was still tightly fisted, your knuckles still red from the amount of force you had used in one blow.
“I am sorry,” You started, so much distaste in your words. “So sorry that I hit you. And I am even more sorry that I put you on your ass.”
Lo’ak snorted quietly, trying to keep quiet so as to not piss your dad off even more. You felt your father nudge your shoulder, and you redid your apology, this time with a little less sarcasm and annoyance.
Ao’nung’s parents sighed heavily as they approved of your words, followed by his father demanding that he apologize as well for his insults. He had tried to protest, but one look from Tonowari was enough to have him muttering a half-assed apology.
You didn’t care, it wasn’t sincere anyway. And even if it were, you had no intention of accepting it. Once all was said and done, you were the first one to go. You walked away, your expression back to its nonchalant one. You held your head up high, no longer hanging it in embarrassment.
Ao’nung had remained in his place, his mind still processing what had happened today. He was successful in his mission, but could it really be a success if he was the one injured? Could it really be a success if your feelings toward him were only momentarily, your stoic persona coming back almost instantly?
Needless to say though, the reaction he got out of you was unexpected. He knew you were tough, your father was Toruk Makto for crying out loud. But he wasn’t ready for your physical retaliation. Even at the beach, he only stared at you as his friends tried to defend him.
He winced again as he remembered the pain on his cheek, the bruised spot feeling incredibly sore. He was thankful that you didn’t aim for his jaw, since that truly would have shut him up for good. He brought his hand up, slightly tapping the tender area. Who would’ve known that a quiet little thing like you had so much power? Not him, clearly.
He continued to stand there, still examining all his injuries. His sister came up to him then, just coming back from wherever she had been. She looked at him, her eyes darting from bruise to bruise. What happened? her gaze said, though he had a feeling she already had an idea of the events that transpired today.
He only brushed her off, turning to walk back inside the pod. She followed after him, persistent in getting answers out of her brother. Tsireya sat in front of him, not leaving her place until he spoke. He gave her a look, but she gave him a look as well in return.
He groaned under his breath and rolled his eyes before he finally told her everything; the teasing, the taunts, the fight, your punch. She put a hand up to her mouth, much like how Lo’ak tried to compress his laughter a while ago. How fitting.
“Are you laughing?” He said, slightly offended that his own sister found his failures funny.
She pressed her lips into a tight line, shaking her head instantly, though he could see her fighting a grin. She put a hand up to his shoulder, patting him lightly as she got up, taking an empty basket with her.
“Oh big brother, just what have you gotten yourself into?” She said, the suppressed laugh from earlier sprinkled in her words. “If [Y/N] didn’t already despise you before, she definitely does now.”
“Why should I care?” He said as he stood, facing his sister with his arms crossed.
“Why should you care?” She turned and parroted his words, eyes wide at how infuriatingly dense Ao’nung was. “Need I remind you that she is the daughter of Toruk Makto, one of the greatest war leaders of our time.”
“She was on the path to becoming Olo’eykte of the Omatikaya,” He was about to interrupt her until she put her hand up, stopping him from saying anything before she finished. “It is not wise to have her as an enemy.”
“So, what, are you saying I should apologize?” He said. “I already did.”
She put a hand on her hip, clearly starting to get frustrated with her older brother. “No, you didn’t. And yes, I am telling you to go apologize to her – truthfully and sincerely this time.”
He wanted to protest against her, but she quickly tossed the basket she was holding to him. “Go now. She will be by the docks gathering materials for her family’s feast tonight.”
“But-” He tried, but Tsireya had already made up her mind in making him go in her place.
“How do you even know where she is?” He asked, his face scrunched up as he reluctantly made his way out of the marui.
“Because unlike you, I don’t treat her like an outcast. And besides, she likes me.” She said, her shoulders shrugging up at the last phrase. She smacked him on the back of his head before he was fully out of the pod, reiterating her words as he continued on his way.
Tumblr media
He found you then, folding dried leaves into your basket. You were right where Tsireya had said you would be, sitting quietly like always. You looked at peace in your solace, your body free of any tension. Your hair was up haphazardly, free from your usual taut braids. The evening breeze had finally come, the sky going from bright blue to muted orange.
He coughed as he made his way towards you, breaking the relaxing solitude you were relishing in. You looked up, still continuing on with whatever you were doing. Your loathing stare was enough to make him fidget in his place before he finally decided to speak up.
“I, uh,” He stuttered. Actually stuttered. He cursed himself mentally before continuing. “I just wanted to say that I am sorry. Again.”
You blinked away boredly, only humming and nodding your head in response. You quickly took your basket with you as you got up, already making your way back to your pod. You didn’t want to be alone with the reef boy any longer, Eywa only knows what you’d do if he dared to provoke you once more.
“[Y/N] wait-” He said, clumsily turning as he grabbed your arm.
You hissed at him, his grip on your arm falling as soon as he saw your reaction. Right, you did not like being touched without warning. He put his arms up, trying to show that he meant no harm.
“Are you not satisfied yet, hm? Does your ego still need to be fed?” You said, eyebrows furrowing as you continued to berate him. “You won! All you wanted was a reaction, right? Well you got it!”
“No!” He argued back, annoyance starting to creep up on him. This was pointless, of course you wouldn’t be willing to accept his apology, let alone be in his presence for more than five minutes. “I am trying to apologize, please just listen-”
“Kalweyaveng,” You muttered under your breath, hand coming up to hold your forehead as you tried to calm your nerves. You had already caused one scene today, you weren’t about to start another. You took a few breaths before you finally faced him again, trying to remain nonchalant as you, aversely, heard him out.
He tried to maintain eye-contact with you, but your stare was just so deep. It felt like you were trying to burn holes into his head the longer he stared at you. You tilted your head to the side, eyebrow raised as you were clearly getting impatient in the ever growing silence.
“Let’s call a truce.” He finally breathed out, his arm already outstretched in your direction. “New beginnings.”
You looked up at him, then down to his arm, then up back to him again. You squinted, unsure if he would be able to stick to his word. Not that it mattered, you were more than capable of handling any situation if he decided to break his vow. But still, a truce was an important promise, and it needed to be held truthfully all throughout.
It was painfully awkward now, his smug demeanor vanishing the longer he stayed quiet. He cursed his sister for setting him up to this, and he cursed himself even more for agreeing. He did not have to do this, he was the chief’s son – next in line for Olo’eyktan. But, regrettably, he knew Tsireya’s words were right. You were a mighty hunter, with a legacy of powerful warriors before you. It really wouldn’t be wise to have you against him.
“Please,” He said, breaking the silence. “I swear to Eywa that I will not break this vow.”
Your ears perked up at this – swearing on the Great Mother meant that someone was serious. You scoffed, huh, he actually meant it. You took his hand then, wrapping your fingers around his forearm as you shook in agreement. Though his hands were rough, they were gentle on you as he took note of your uncomfortableness with strangers.
You never liked the feeling of touch from people you didn’t know, and you still don’t, but Ao’nung’s warmth didn’t feel as bad now than compared to before.
“Truce.” You said, slowly removing your arm away from him.
He grinned. You frowned. He stopped grinning.
He walked with you now, keeping up with your pace. “So, what now, tree girl?” He teased.
You gave him a look as if to say ‘really?’, and he shrugged his shoulders. “I mean, we are friends now, right? I can call you that?”
You stopped, turning to the side to face him. You threw him your heavy basket unexpectedly, and he stumbled back as he tried to catch it without spilling any of the contents.
“Oh yeah, we are friends now, fish lips.” You said, tone laced in sarcasm. “And since we’re friends, you can carry that for me, right?”
You continued on your way then, not waiting for his reply. He watched you for a bit as you walked ahead, and he laughed slightly.
May Eywa bless him with the strength to earn your trust.

Tw: enemies to lovers? nothing bad just reader and ao’nung being kinda dumb ending with fluff
Author’s note: This after the war and Neteyam is alive (He will live forever in my fics)
Masterlist
It was obvious that you and Ao’nung were head over heels for one another. Ever since you had arrived in Awa’atlu, Ao’nung did not keep his eyes off you, and you cannot keep your eyes of him. Yes, some times you’d bump heads but that was proof that you and him were made for one another. Then the courting rituals began. You both had done your courting rituals based on your cultures.
Since the Omaticaya are of hunters and warriors, you were a good hunter, so one afternoon after finishing your chores, you had gone hunting. You were gone for a while in the ocean, trying to find the biggest fish you could give it to Ao’nung. You wanted to show to Ao’nung that you were worth being his mate by your hunting skills. Once you had returned, you began to cook your catch. Your mother and father thought you went to get them food, but you told them it was for Ao’nung. When you were finished cooking the fish, you went to the Olo'eyktan and  Tsahìk ‘s Marui to see Ao’nung.
When you got there, you greeted the family that had been in the Marui. “What bring you here?” Tonowari asked, seeing the cooked fish in your arms. “I brought this for Ao’nung, I hunted it this afternoon and I cooked it” you said going over and placed the fish in front of him, missing the glare he was sending the fish. “I hope you like it” you said looking at Ao’nung who had a forced smile. “Thank you Y/n, I really appreciate the gesture” he said, then you bid everyone goodbye then left. The whole time Ao’nung kept glaring at the fish, he felt offended by this. He felt like you were saying that he isn’t a good provider. After glaring at the fish, he just ate because he didn’t want it to go to waste and it must have taken you forever to cook.
After that experience, Ao’nung had forgotten about the whole ordeal. He had began to make you an anklet, the Metkayina believed in gift given, specially if it was handcrafted gifts. The anklet was being of pearls, but not just any pearls. Ao’nung spend most of his morning looking for the finest pearls, he had manage to find pink pearls, they were as pretty as you. He worked on the anklet that whole afternoon, when he was done, he went out to find you.
You were at the beach just hanging with your ilu, Ao’nung got a bit nervous since he didn’t know how you’d react. He approached you “hey y/n” he caught your attention, you turn to look at him while your ilu was snuggling against your cheek. “Hey Ao’nung” you gave him a small smile and got up from the sand, seeing his cheeks turn a bright lilac. “I.... I made you something..” he said now shyly handing you the anklet. You looked down and saw the pink colored anklet. You took it from his hands to look at it better “for me?” you asked, seeing how pretty it was. “Well yeah...” Ao’nung said looking at you, seeing your face of displeasure. “Do you not like it?” he asked, now feeling like he had been punched in the gut.
“I-I...” You couldn’t speak, you had been to stun by this, his gift. This felt as if he only wanted you because you were just pretty to look at, and have. You wanted to yell at him, this felt as if he wanted you to just sit and look pretty, but you did not want to be rude. So you forced a smile. “Thank you, I love it... it’s.... pretty” you said holding the Anklet tightly, still a bit mad at Ao’nung. After a little awkward silence you got on your ilu and took off, maybe to talk to Tsieya. Ao’nung had done the same, he left to go find your brothers, maybe he could tell him some stuff.
“An Anklet! A goddamn anklet he gives me! First he hates the fact that I caught and cooked him a whole fish, that was by the way hard to catch! He just wants me to sit and look pretty!” you had been ranting to Tsireya, who you had met up with her on those small pools of water where the group normally hung out. Tsireya could only smile, it was obvious that your courting rituals were different. “It’s not that Y/n, he was actually courting you our way” she said as you looked at her shocked “courting?” you said, making her nodded “yes, our way is of gift giving, handmade gift have more meaning.” She said, now you felt stupid, he was courting you, and you had thought he only wanted you as a trophy mate. “Oh god I’m so stupid” you said as you felt your face heat up in embarrassment. Tsireya rubbed your back comfortingly. “It’s okay, you didn’t know” she said holding in a laugh.
“It felt like spear to my heart! She brought a big fish that she cooked, which was by the way great but does she think I’m not a good provider!? Then I gave her an anklet that I worked so hard to make! Those pink pearls weren’t easy to find!” Ao’nung had been talking with Neteyam and Lo’ak the whole story, Lo’ak had been trying so hard not to laugh by this, but then Neteyam chimed in “she didn’t mean it as an offence bro, she was courting you by gifting you the finest meat from her hunt” he said, making Ao’nung look at him. “What?” he said, now confused “yes, she was courting you. Since we’re known for hunting, part of the courting ritual is to give the one you want a piece of the finest meat. She hunted and cooked it herself.” Lo’ak said between laughs. “So... she wasn’t trying to offend me?” Ao’nung asked, both your brothers nodded. Now he felt like a fool. “Don’t worry bro, we’ll help you both out” Lo’ak said patting Ao’nung’s back.
That sunset, you and Ao’nung were basically pushed by each other’s siblings to talk alone at the beach. You had been waiting for Ao’nung, still feeling embarrassed, you were trying to come up with an apology, but then Ao’nung had approached you. You were both face to face “I’m sorry.... I didn’t know about your whole courting stuff” you said looking down, feeling your face heat up.
Ao’nung noticed you wearing the pink anklet, he chuckled at your weird human vocabulary. “It’s fine, I’m also sorry, I didn’t know either” he said looking up at you. “I see that you like my gift?” he asked, seeing that your face was now purple. “Yeah I did... it is really pretty, did you like the fish?” you asked with a small smile. “Yeah, it was good. I could get use to your cooking” Ao’nung said in a teasing manner, making you laugh.  “So... do you still want to court one another?” you asked a bit shyly. “Did you really think I’d let you off that easily?” Ao’nung said making you laughed “I had a feeling you weren’t” you admitted. Ao’nung then reached to get a hold of your hand, which you allowed him to get a hold of. “We could watch the sunset” you suggested as you locked eyes with one another, and Ao’nung spoke “I’d like that”

Paywll
anon's request: Can you do Metkayina family x human reader? The reader is an expert at underwater gardening, thats all! Thank you! Sorry, I forgot to mention: Could they be earth water plants? like seaweed, lily's, all the like? thank you!
---------------
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Paywll hums a soft tune as she tends to her plants. In a small, naturally made pond was found by paywll when she was exploring the island of the metkayina clan. What was supposed to be a study of plant adaptation turned into something more. It became a second home to her, new found family among the na’vi. Truly it is amazing. Even more now that she can do what she always wanted to do.
Preserve and regrow endangered plants. To be more specific, the last remaining Earth plants. They are very delicate and hard to cultivate while meeting their needed requirements to survive in a whole new environment.
Paywll used the little pond she found to start her plant cultivation. Starting small and seeing how it can handle a small portion of the ecosystem. Placing water lilies, lily pads, and azolla filiculoides. She plans to add more, to save what is left of Earth and its precious plants. So far, she is happy to see how well her plants are growing. Even better, they are in need of changing from a small pond, to something bigger.
Tumblr media
“Ok, be very careful ao’nung, these plants are very fragile. Let rotxo help you” paywll gently instructs the young na’vi. Ao’nung grins happily as he lifts a large solid bowl above his head.
“I got this paywll, you just lead the way” he says. Beside him was his sister, tsireya who also holds a large bowl with the help of rotxo.
“Alright, we have to move quickly,” paywll says and begins to walk a bit fast. The pond where she shelters the Earth plants has quite a distance from the nearest beach. When arriving at the village, many people knew the protocol as they made way for her and the children. None daring to get in their way.
At the beach, Ronal awaits them with tools at hand.
They will have to move quickly for it to work.
“Mother! Time to begin” tsireya calls out to Ronal. Nodding, ronal pulls out her thin web like net. Ao’nung and tsireya lower the bows for paywll to do the next part. Taking the net from Ronal, she begins to instruct.
“Alright, for this part it may seem easy, but it's detrimental for the plant's life cycle” paywll begins to explain. Everyone nodded as they were ready to follow her instructions.
Grabbing the thin net, paywll places it on the surface of the water.
“Tsireya, the water lilies” she calls out to.
Nodding, tsireya takes out the water lilies from the large bowl with great care, being mindful to not touch the root. Slowly she puts the flowers on top of the net, letting it float. Ao’nung does the same with the azolla filiculoides. Roxto surrounded the plants with the lily pads while not over passing the net limits. Ronal goes under water to add a base at the bottom of the net. Adding three long ropes made with the same material as the net. She places one under a rock, the second gently tied to a coral base, and the third to a big shel. All for the net to not move and not disrupting the plants.
“What will this do paywll?” roxto asks.
“With the shallow waters, the plants will recognize its areas and adjust. It was familiar with the pond so we moved it to a similar area. This will also help the plants to adapt and grow” paywll happily explains.
“How long will it take to adapt?” tsireya was the second to ask as she admires the pretty plants.
“Depends on them. Can take days, or weeks. So, to know, I will have to watch over them and see if there is a difference. If they grow, then its working” paywll explains further.
Ronal took a liking to the water lilies, “if they do grow, what then?” she asks.
“We will gently cut some roots and separate them. Overcrowding can be bad, so when the time comes, we will place a new batch somewhere else”
Tsireya was in awe at the plan, already imagining what the shores will look like. Full of amazing alien plants, flowers and who knows what else.
“Now that the pond is clear, I can grow more different plants. Do the same as these, grow, transfer, cultivate, repeat” the human plans out. However the next batch of plants will be tricky, since they won't be in the pond for the process.
“What other plants do you wish to grow?”
Tumblr media
“These are beautiful” ronal compliments. She observes the plants that were in the pond, small leaves that paywll called ‘Caulerpa’. Ronal watches as her friend slowly starts to dig out the roots of the said plant into the large bowl.
“They will become more beautiful once I put these on the sand bed,” paywll says as she carefully transfers the plant. Just like before, they make quick haste to the ocean shore. Ronal helping paywll by guiding her to the desired area to place the plant.
Paywll gently holds down the plants so as to not float or sway away underwater.
Her lilies, pads, and other plants were adjusting so well to their new ecosystem that it made her want to grow more of the endangered plants.
“Here we are” ronal signs.
Nodding, paywll places the Caulerpa seaweed at the pre-dugged spot. Gently placing down the roots and covering it with sand and some shells in case it rises up. Ronal makes circular rotation around paywll incase a curious fish wants to intervene.
Paywll gives a thumbs up, signaling its all set. Ronal grabs her friend by the waist and starts to swim up. Once they reached the surface, they smile in glee together. It seems a lot to grow plants but ronal enjoys every bit of it. Especially if it gets her to spend more time with pawll and see in her view, how precious these foreign plants are to her.
Tumblr media
It was night, the family all gathered in their home, paywll being their honored guest. They all sit and enjoy the much earned food ronal glady made. Another hard day's world for everyone.
“Paywll, how many do you plan to grow? At this point, it's starting to look like a large underwater garden” ao’nung says. Ronal hisses at him, tonowari slightly glaring at his son. Paywll just giggled at his words.
“As many as I can. These plants mean a lot to me. I dont want these plants to be extinct or endangered. There are so many types you have yet to see ao’nung. Many you might like too. I couldnt save what little remains of nature back on my planet but, fortunately I did manage to save a little bit of these darlings. And trust me, what you see is nothing so what else I have yet to plant” paywll answers.
Ronal nods in approval. Placing her hand on her friends back, she speaks, “it our shores will be a garden, then so be it”
“It might even attract more fish or other creatures,” tsireya says, seeing many possibilities.
“Once the Macrocytosis start to grow a bit big, you are going to love the types of corals I plan to farm” paywll says.
Tonowari hears this, his ears twitching a bit, “corals you say? I look forward to those”.
Paywll chuckles, “you might like the sun croal, they are very colorful and interesting shapes”.
He nods, “I would gladly assist you in it”
Paywll nods as well. Truly, she is lucky to have the support of the reef na’vi. Allowing her to place the Earth’s sea plants into their territory. Really, even from the beginning of befriending them. But she is grateful, extremely grateful. With their support and willing to have foreign plants into their native ecosystem, paywll does not plan to break any cycle, only to improve and adapt. And honestly, paywll would mind having an underwater garden as ao’nung mentioned. It will be like an underwater oasis for the plants, to never be extinct and only thrive as they always should have.
Tumblr media
Aaaaaaaaand that is it for this one! Sorry for no sneak peek for this fic, it was pretty short, but sweet! Hope you all liked it! Until next time! See ya!

For the past few days, the Sully family had kept Kiri close after her sudden collapse, never letting her out of their sight. Lorre, in particular, rarely left her sister’s side, understanding Kiri’s need for space but unwilling to leave her alone completely.
They sat together in the marui, Lorre silently working on a necklace for Tsireya while Kiri lay on her hammock, staring off into the distance.
After a while, Kiri sighed, breaking the quiet. - You don’t have to stay here all the time, you know. she murmured, glancing at her sister.
Lorre paused, her fingers stilling over the shells in her hands. - I know. she replied softly, her voice gentle. - But I want to. She gave Kiri a small smile. - Besides, you’re not that much of a bother.
Kiri huffed a laugh, the smallest hint of a smile playing on her lips. - Gee, thanks. she said, rolling her eyes. But her tone was softer than usual, and Lorre could sense the relief in her.
Lorre shifted closer, nudging Kiri’s leg with her knee. - Seriously though, you scared us. Her voice dropped, the weight of the past few days still fresh. - I thought I was going to lose you — we were going to lose you.
Kiri didn’t say anything for a moment, her gaze turning thoughtful. - I’m still here. she said quietly, her eyes flicking toward Lorre. - You can’t get rid of me that easily.
Lorre chuckled, the tension easing slightly. - Good. Because I don’t plan on letting you go anywhere. She resumed threading the necklace, trying to lighten the mood. - And I still have to finish this for Tsireya, so you’re stuck with me until I do.
Before Kiri could respond, the sound of a horn echoed through the village, drawing their attention. Lorre glanced up but didn’t think much of it. She assumed it was just the hunters returning. But moments later, Tuk burst into the marui.
- Kri! Lorre! Come on! Come on! Tuk’s voice was urgent but filled with excitement, and before either of her sisters could react, she grabbed their hands and pulled them to their feet.
- Tuk, what’s going on? Kiri groaned, still half reluctant to move, but Tuk was persistent.
- You have to see this! Tuk’s wide eyes sparkled with wonder, and her excitement was contagious.
With Tuk tugging them along, they rushed to the entrance of the marui. As they reached the edge, Lorre’s breath caught in her throat. The sight that greeted them was nothing short of magical.
Enormous tulkun were breaching the surface of the water, their massive forms adorned with glowing tattoos that shimmered like constellations under the sun. Metkayina riders circled them on ilu and tsurak, their joyous laughter filling the air.
- Our brothers and sisters have returned! Tsireya’s voice rang out from the water, her happiness clear as she waved to the Metkayina in the distance.
Tuk couldn’t stand still, bouncing on her toes. - Let’s go meet them! she exclaimed, already pulling Lorre and Kiri toward the shore.
They quickly mounted their ilu and followed Tuk into the water once the small Navi got on Kiri’s Ilu.
weaving through the waves as they made their way toward the celebration. The vibrant colors of the reef surrounded them—blues and greens mixing together, with flashes of coral peeking through the surface.
As they swam, Lorre felt the thrill of the ocean currents around her, cool and refreshing against her skin. Out on the reef, Lo’ak and Tsireya were swimming together, their movements fluid and playful as they darted between the tulkun.
Neteyam followed behind them, his strokes steady and controlled, glancing back now and then to check on his siblings.
Lorre kept close to Tuk, watching as Ao’nung and Rotxo prepared to dive in the distance.
Tuk called out to them. - Ao’nung! Take us with you!
Ao’nung glanced back at them, his usual smirk appearing as his gaze met Lorre’s. - Come on! he said, a playful glint in his eyes. - I want to you meet my spirit brother
Without hesitation, Ao’nung dove into the water, and Lorre followed close behind. Her heart raced a little faster, though she wasn’t sure if it was from the excitement of the moment or from Ao’nung’s presence.
Tuk and Kiri trailed behind, but Lorre found herself focused on keeping up with Ao’nung as they swam deeper into the reef.
The water was alive with movement, the tulkun swimming gracefully among the Metkayina. Lorre did her best to avoid colliding with any of the creatures, narrowly missing a few as she followed Ao’nung’s lead.
Eventually, they arrived at a particularly large tulkun, who was floating calmly near the ocean floor. Lorre watched as Ao’nung approached the creature with quiet reverence, reaching out to touch its side.
This tulkun was different, and from the way Ao’nung greeted him, Lorre could tell this bond was special. She hesitated, feeling a little out of place in this moment. But Ao’nung turned to her, his expression soft as he signed, - This is Ra’kuul, my spirit brother.
Lorre swam closer, her heart thudding in her chest as she reached out to touch Ra’kuul’s smooth skin. The tulkun rumbled in response, his massive eye regarding her with curiosity.
- He likes you. Ao’nung signed with a small smile. - And he thinks you’re beautiful.
Lorre felt her cheeks warm at the compliment, her pulse quickening. - Really?
Ao’nung nodded, - Yeah, but I think he’s just trying to get on your good side, Syulang. Lorre blinked in surprise at the nickname. It felt sweet, somehow fitting for the way he looked at her.
- Syulang? I kind of like it. she admitted, a shy smile creeping onto her face.
They shared a moment, the air between them charged with something new, something exciting. Ra’kuul’s eye crinkled, and Lorre could swear the tulkun was smiling at her.
They stayed together for a while, the underwater world around them buzzing with life. Lorre noticed Lo’ak and Tsireya swimming nearby, their laughter carrying through the water as they played in the waves.
Neteyam swam quietly through the reef, keeping a watchful eye on his siblings
Jake and Neytiri were further out, they swam alongside the Metkayina, riding their ilu with a smile on their faces.
Lorre turned her attention back to Ao’nung, who was signing something to Ra’kuul. The tulkun responded with a low rumble, and Ao’nung looked over at Lorre, his expression softening.
- He asked if you like it here. Ao’nung translated
Lorre nodded, signing back, - I do. It’s beautiful.
Ra’kuul’s eye crinkled, and Lorre could swear the tulkun was smiling at her. There was something deeply personal about this interaction, something that made her feel like she was being let into a part of Ao’nung’s world she hadn’t seen before.
After a while, Lorre felt the familiar tightening in her lungs and gestured toward the surface. Aonung gave a quick nod in acknowledgment but kept speaking with Ra'kuul, his spirit brother.
Lorre didn't mind, knowing they likely had much to catch up on after being apart for so long. She pushed off, gliding smoothly toward the surface, leaving them to their conversation.
Lorre broke the surface with a sharp gasp, her lungs filling with cool air. She blinked rapidly, adjusting to the sudden brightness as water dripped from her lashes.
The muffled sounds of the deep faded, replaced by the clear rush of waves and the distant calls of tulkun. She swept her wet hair from her face, her senses now fully alert to the lively world around her.
Suddenly, a large shadow passed over Lorre, and she looked up, hand raised to block the sun. A skimwing hovered above her, its sleek wings casting a cool shadow across her face. She squinted, trying to make out the figure riding it when a familiar voice cut through the brightness.
- Forest girl!
Lorre’s lips curled into a smile as she recognized Ro’uk.
- Oh! Hi, Ro’uk. she replied, tilting her head to get a better look.
Ro’uk noticed her struggling with the sun and maneuvered his skimwing closer, angling it to shield her from the sun. The sudden change in light allowed Lorre to fully appreciate his friendly grin and the way the ocean shimmered behind him.
- Better? he asked, leaning forward with an easy smirk.
- Much better, thanks. she said, grateful for his thoughtfulness.
Ro’uk tilted his head curiously. - So, what are you doing out here?
Lorre blinked, momentarily caught off guard by the question. She glanced over her shoulder at the small gathering where the others mingled with the tulkun, then shifted her focus back to him. - Oh, I was just with… Ao’nung. she admitted, feeling a small flutter in her stomach at the mention of his name.
Ro’uk raised an eyebrow, a playful grin spreading across his face. - The chief’s son, huh? Nice. he teased
Lorre’s cheeks warmed slightly, and she shook her head in mild embarrassment. - It’s not like that! she laughed, - We were just talking to his spirit brother.
Ro’uk leaned back, clearly enjoying her discomfort. - Right.. he said, his grin widening. - Just talking, of course. And how’s that going? Did you forget about your friends while getting cozy with the chief’s son?
Lorre rolled her eyes but couldn’t help the smile tugging at her lips. - I didn’t forget about you! I actually looked for you earlier when we were supposed to ride the Ikrans, but I couldn’t find you.
Ro’uk’s expression softened, and he scratched the back of his head sheepishly. - Oh, sorry about that. I was with my mate and lost track of time. I completely forgot about it too.
She waved her hand dismissively, not wanting to make a big deal out of it. - It’s okay, really. Things happen. I just got caught up in everything with Kiri and all.
- Right, Kiri. Ro’uk said, nodding in understanding. - How about this? To make up for it, I’d love to bring you to Ta’unui. I have something to do there.
Lorre’s face brightened at the suggestion. - Ta’unui? I’d love that! I’ve never been there before.
Ro’uk nodded, his enthusiasm infectious. - It’s beautiful. You’ll love it. Ka’ali and our son will be there too.
Lorre’s heart swelled at the thought. - I can’t wait to see your son. I bet Ka’ali is amazing too.
Ro’uk grinned, clearly proud. - He’s getting better at riding his ilu every day. I can’t wait for you to meet him. He’ll be excited to show off. He gestured toward the water, his skimwing bobbing gently with the waves. - Alright, I’ll let you get back to… whatever you and Ao’nung were doing.
Lorre rolled her eyes again at his teasing. - We were just talking, I swear.
Ro’uk raised his hands in mock surrender, clearly enjoying himself. - Sure, sure. Whatever you say, forest girl.
He shifted slightly on his skimwing, preparing to take off. - Just don’t forget about that Ikran. We’ll plan it soon, okay?
- I won’t forget. Lorre promised, waving goodbye as Ro’uk rode off into the distance. His skimwing’s wings skimmed the surface of the water.

In the eyes of any Na'vi, human beings knew nothing but destruction. They killed, they plundered, they looted, they stole.
Ao'nung was no exception, despite never having had a chance to meet one. His opinions were based on tales — far from flattering —, testimonies from the not-too-distant past, and the tulkun carcasses moored offshore. A single precise hole pierced their palate to the brain. Too precise to be an accidental wound. Therefore, when his parents agreed for a temporary lab to be set up near Awa'atlu following Kiri's seizure, Ao'nung fiercely opposed it. Never had he leveraged his title as he did that day.
"I appreciate your stance, ma‘itan (son), but you are not yet olo'eyktan. Until then, you will do as you are told."
He might have done as he was ordered, but that did not imply that he would become familiar with the ketuwong (aliens). Or so he believed. One thing about humans still eluded him. Something that would systematically dismantle all his beliefs.
Their immense complexity. Capable of atrocious cruelties, harbored in them also an incredible goodness. A combination of oxymorons made up the intricate human nature. Malice and kindness. Destructiveness and creativity. Cowardice and tenacity. Ignorance and intelligence.
Hatred and love.
Even the lowliest creature, as that who’d usurped and appropriated his world as if they had the authority, had beauty. He saw it in how they dealt with Kiri and the kind smiles they looked at Lo’ak from afar. They seemed to empathize with his discomfort and the feeling of being different, as they were just as out of place as he was on Eywa'eveng (Pandora). Even in the sympathetic or unaffected strains with which they accepted the coldness and suspicion of the natives. Neytiri included.
When contemplating the woman, the boy frequently pondered the reason for the intense hostility; after all, her husband was formally one of them. He knew their story though, as everyone on Pandora. His father himself was a constant reminder of it by the almost inexplicable condescension he reserved for the Sullys.  The legendary Toruk Makto and Palulukan Makto. The chosen ones who led the clans to victory against the Sky People. The same ones who now walked among the reef people with their tails between their legs. Quite literally.
He experienced firsthand the feeling of being a letdown and living in the constant shadow of a flawless sibling.
Tsireya. His sweet little sister, the family's ray of sunshine, was both loved and hated by him. At times, he found comfort in the idea that, if she did not exist, perhaps their parents would be less strict with him.
Na'vi and Terrestrials weren’t so different after all. The same conflicting feelings coexisted in their hearts. The same inconsistency. Like loving an alien in an artificial body, but abhorring his origins. And now that he had a way to deal with them every day, even if from a distance, he realized more and more how much they had in common. At first glance, they might have seemed absolutely diverse. Humans were so small in comparison, so vulnerable. A simple, well-aimed kick could have shattered their fragile bones. They looked delicate, their skin velvety soft. Women at least, from what little he had deduced observing the only human girl on the island.
Celeste Socorro.
Besides her small size and complete unsuitability to survive on the satellite, her colors were all wrong and seemed to lack uniformity with other specimens of her species. A commonality, it appeared. Their hair varied between disparate shades, their complexions tended to be warm and earthy, and there was no trace of blue excluding the irises of some of them. Celeste wasn’t one of those, though. Her eyes were black; a sun-dried bark brown color made it challenging to distinguish the pupil unless carefully scrutinized. Straw-blond strands, often gathered in a loose ponytail, ran halfway down her back. A few unruly wisps fell to the edges of her mask. Like other humans, she had a sense of modesty that he couldn’t get. Her body was almost entirely veiled by clothing, which didn’t compliment her frame.
Another reason for calling her odd was he couldn't explain why he was interested in her. He should have felt disgust, or at least indifference, but instead, none of this seemed to shake him when his eyes rested on her petite figure. Indeed, he had even found himself looking for her in the crowd. It usually took place at times of maximum distraction. When none of his duties could occupy his day and he loitered around the village. Thoughts wandered, confused until they took the form of the girl. He was frequently bombarded by reality itself. As if to shout in his face that he could not elude her.
Today was no exception. Irritated as never by Celeste's visage intruding on his mind to pay attention to where his heavy legs were taking him, her voice infiltrated his ears. Looking around, Ao'nung realized he was right near the Sullys’ marui. Inside, Kiri was styling Celeste’s hair, while the girl held in her small hands a monitor depicting a scan of Kiri's brain — something he had learned in that brief time in contact with the aliens. From the way the halfbreed rolled her eyes, she was familiar with her friend’s rather authoritative recommendations.
He had a certain fascination with tawtute (human) contraptions, despite having a fictional feel to native eyes. They were the preserve of a technological development aimed at minimizing the fate of their physical weakness.  He somehow admired their perseverance, their intellectual flare, their nearly utopian idea of progress, but at the expense of what? They had lost any kind of attachment to their intimate and spiritual sphere, chasing answers that did nothing but create new questions and new quests. That same progress that had been born with good intentions to improve their conditions, to help, to save, had repeatedly set them against each other. Because, apparently, the instinct of prevarication and the lure of power were stronger than anything else. Devoid of unified purpose, they were nothing more than a dull shell of flesh.
An incredibly cute wrapper if they had asked his opinion about the human girl without an avatar.
“Even though I know he isn’t our father, he has his memory. He’s built on his genetic code. I can’t help but wonder if a side of him loves us. If he loved our mother.” The silence that had fallen was suffocating when she spoke again. “It seemed like it when he recognized us. The way he looked at us. He wasn’t just surprised; his eyes were the same Jake has for you. He had the eyes of a father, even if it lasted only for a moment. Spider and his mouth,” she mumbled in a bitter laugh. “That’s the only way I can keep my wits, knowing that my brother is in his hands.”
Brother, he didn’t know she had a brother. But thinking about it, he made a brief connection to the human boy the Sully siblings often mentioned, and everything became tremendously obvious. Ao'nung wondered about the number of others who shared their situation. Terrestrial children born on Pandora. Normally, that would have made his skin crawl, but not today. Not as he eyed Celeste.
“We'll set him free," Kiri said with the sweetest of smiles adorning her face in a purple blush. Her gaze lost in emptiness as expert fingers danced over the fragile scalp of the girl sitting in front of her, intent on sorting the top section of her hair into soft braids and joining them in a single one. The remaining locks fell in graceful waves over her shoulders and around the small of her waist. Celeste snorted sourly, "When? When will your father decide to stop burying his head in the sand?" Her friend’s hands froze as she winced at the viciousness of those words, at the suffering that flowed from the rigidity of her posture. Her expression, once infused with tender hopefulness, now radiated immense sadness. Kiri knew deep in her heart that her parents would do nothing to take Spider back. Neytiri despised them as humans and Jake… Well, Jake felt pity for the Socorro twins, he saw himself in them. Having them around was like reliving the half-life he had before he became Omatikaya. A feeling for which he would give anything to never have to face it again, to bury it along with his past. Because, in a way, he felt like he had stolen the serenity he now had. From Tsu'tey. From Grace.
From Tommy.
They’d all lost their life for him to gain something instead. He’d gained a home, a mate, a family. Enough for him to no longer be invulnerable. If once he had nothing to lose, now he had everything to lose. He would do anything, make any gesture to safeguard what was his greatest strength, but above all, his greatest weakness.
Even sacrifice an innocent kid.
"Cel-" “No, don’t make up excuses for them. Don't insult me by saying they're waiting for the perfect moment to rescue him. They ain't gonna do that. As long as Quaritch doesn’t pull enough strings to force your parents out, no one will do anything.” Celeste’s eyes burned like glowing embers as she stared into Kiri’s liquid amber ones. Sorry to bring this up. I hoped our reunion would be better. The joy of seeing you again, my BFF, my sis, lingered with me. But… you bailed on us and left us to face the RDA alone.  The Omatikaya are standing up to defend the rainforest. The Timpani are their allies now, and the Tawkami are helping with the injured. All this while you were here checking out the sights, learning the way of a new clan. But, as soon as you needed us, you remembered the ones you left to die.” Kiri knew her friend was right to be resentful, to feel wronged, that her heart was bleeding in terror over her brother’s plight, but now she was being unfair. ”Did you think we asked for this? Hiding among strangers? We lost everything. Our home, our people, our status. We don’t belong anywhere, we just have ourselves.”
However distorted by the mask, Celeste’s expression was all too eloquent. She knew way too well what it felt like to be at the extremes of a stray cat. “It’s always about you, huh? But we're talking about Spider here. Quit whining about how much you miss him, moony-eyed whenever you talk about him. When Neytiri decided to leave him behind, you didn’t fight back. You didn't protest when Jake said it was too risky to go back for him.” “Why did you?” “With Neteyam holding me back! A fully grown male Na’vi clutching a small human girl as if I were a viperwolf puppy? What could I have done? Tell me.” Kiri couldn’t answer. “Exactly. Nothing. I am powerless before you.” The tawtute woman stood up toward the entrance furiously, but just as she was about to cross the threshold, she turned one last time to implant her shining, weeping eyes on her dear friend. It's scary to think what they're doing to him. They’re probably brainwashing him with nonsense. The more he stays with them, the more they drive him away from us. Spider's heart is tough, but we Sky People can be corrupted in a jiffy. Especially when they know how to get under our skin and give us a sense of belonging. When on the other side, they have our father.” “Nash and Mary are your parents. Norm, Max. We are your family!” “This is right if you leverage on logic. But let's be real, when has logic ever worked?” A heavy sigh lightened her lungs. “Sorry if I’m dumping it all on you. You have nothin’ to do with it, you have no fault except lovin’ him as much as I do.”
Maybe even more.
“It’s just—.” The tremor in her voice prevented her from finishing the sentence, but the meaning was painfully clear. Celeste was worried about Spider. She was terrified. “We lost him. Even if he manages to come back to us, he will never be what he used to be.”
Perhaps following her hadn't been the smartest choice. They hardly knew each other, and this sudden concern of his was undoubtedly misplaced. Why would she, a human, want to open up to him, of all people? The Metkayina prince, who had never had the courtesy to hide his dislike for her people. Who had never reserved a kind word for the Sullys, let alone for an abandoned little human girl like her.
There was the risk she would misinterpret his intentions — Lo’ak had warned her about him. At worst, she would take him for a creep. But he just couldn't help himself. The way she had come out of the marui, the scowl on her face, plain to see despite the stark reflection of the sun on her mask, and her hunched shoulders. Everything about her, whether it was her warm smile as she played with Tuk, the dedication with which she analyzed every new thing that came her way. Even the misery that filled those intense dark eyes, now flickering with tears, drew him in.
Celeste sat on the seashore. The heavy combat boots, which seemed to have seen better days, had been tossed to her right side as now the waves' soothing motion caressed her feet. Her toes fiddled with the sand while her gaze wandered to the horizon. The gentle breeze from the ocean tousled her half-leaved braids, dragging with it the distant calls of animals.
Ao’nung stood dumbfounded behind a palm tree, trying to gather the courage to approach her. What could he have said to her? It’s not like he could just show up and sit next to her, engaging in who knows what sort of conversation. Up to that point, they had hardly spoken to each other, leaving out forms of convenience. The guy wasn’t Lo’ak or Neteyam. He wasn’t someone familiar enough to even just sit beside her in silence, for his presence would be comforting to her. Nor did he own that innate coolness and likability Rotxo had. Maybe it would be the girl herself who would come to him.
“Don't bother taunting me now that there's no audience. I'm not in the mood for your immaturity.”
Well, roughly. At least it could be considered an icebreaker.
“I don’t plan on messing with you.” "Stalking must be a habit of yours, then.” That had taken him by surprise. He was convinced she hadn't noticed, but the girl had read right through him. She was more receptive and aware of her surroundings than he imagined. And to say that Ao'nung had even been careful to cover his tracks. “I remind you I grew up in the middle of the forest. It’s called mere survival,” she stated as if she had read his mind. “You’re just an open book,” confusion painted on his face (he didn’t know what a book was), “You’re very expressive, it’s easy to catch what you’re thinking.”  “Is that so?” commented in a whisper as he took a seat to her left. “It explains a lot of things.” “If you’re not here to torment me, what brings you here?”. “We started off on the wrong foot.” “That’s an understatement.” “I expected Lo’ak to tell you about how I behaved when they arrived. About the incident at Three Brother Rocks.” “Another euphemism. Anyway, I didn’t need to be updated on the hard time he had here with all of you. I was prepared for what was going to happen. I don’t blame you, you know? Probably if the roles were reversed, we humans would have done the same thing. It’s only natural to fear the difference, especially when they have done little to show their good side. But if you’re trying to apologize, it’s not me you have to ask.” “If it’s all right with you, I would simply like to sit here. We don’t have to talk.” She sketched a smile. “Something tells me that even if I told you I’d rather be alone, you’d still stay.” Ao’nung seemed to weigh his next words, although an eloquent smirk was making its way onto his lips already. “This is still my island. No one can tell me to leave.” “The island of your clan.” “Indeed.” “The Metkayina have so many islands, I’m sure the next chief can go wherever he wishes.” “I suppose so, but this future chief wishes to be here,” he deftly twisted her words, a hint of sarcasm dirtying his voice. “Of all the territories of my people, this beach is my favorite. It’s secluded, hardly anyone ever comes here. It’s not a suitable spot for fishing, perfect if you’re looking for solitude and a place to empty your mind.” “It’s your safe haven, then. My bad if I took it from you, I didn’t mean to.” She made to leave, but Ao’nung stopped her. The grip on her hand was incredibly light, cautious, almost caring. “I don’t mind sharing it with you.”
Tumblr media
“Despite growing up among you, I am always surprised how different the concept of personal space is between humans and Na’vi.” “Are we intrusive?” he chuckled. “You touch quite a bit! Especially the hair,” she gave him an elusive smile. “To braid each other’s hair is a way of strengthening bonds. We take care of one other.” “On Earth, we call it grooming. it’s a socialization technique.” “What I said.” Celeste was careful to add that specialists used this term to describe behaviors observed in the animal kingdom. Although they also fall under it, people dislike to be compared to animals, and the Na’vi were no exception.
Styling her hair had become a routine since they had established that uncanny friendship. If it could be called that. Celeste wouldn’t have been sure where to place it, really. So many were the unspoken things between them. Talks that couldn’t be addressed without prodding the touchy attitude of one or the other. She felt a strange sensation in her stomach from the occasional intense glances. As if her insides were all of a sudden twisting around, tearing her breath away.
Although they had not put up posters, it was pretty obvious that Celeste was getting close to someone local. People began asking questions.
As if catching them together frequently wasn’t already a blatant response.
So many minor details that make up a bigger picture. Starting with the very braids and nacre pearls that adorned the girl’s hair, in a style that differed altogether from Omatikaya customs. And ending with the perpetual jubilation that seemed to have taken the place of severity over Ao’nung’s face. This one aspect clearly demonstrated that something was happening between them.  The attitudinal shift was way too remarkable. He was no longer so grumpy or difficult to deal with. He now seemed to have grown accustomed to the human presence in the village, even paying daily visits to the lab, driven by curiosity and eagerness to learn. His interactions with Sky People were nearly quotidian, so much so that he had adopted some English terms into his linguistic repertoire. A language he was picking up incredibly fast and had become common ground with the Sully siblings. They had yet to reach a point where they could call each other friends, but it was a step in the right direction. Who knew it would take the influence of a tawtute girl for them to establish a truce.
In any case, this had not been enough for Neteyam and Lo’ak to stop keeping an eye on her, still weirded out by that unexpected connection with such an asshole — somebody who seemed to show his genuine side only to her. They didn’t trust him fully, although he had shown he respected her and was the sole one able to bring a sincere smile back to her beautiful face.
They were her brothers after all. Their duty was to protect her.
As the man traced an intricate weave of braids starting at the crown of her head and extending a little further back anchored by bright blue beads from Nom’s Delight, Celeste didn’t miss the opportunity to tease him. “You’re better than I thought at this,” she said, observing the effort he was putting into it through a hand mirror. “When you have a sister, you are forced to learn.” “You’re the one who makes her look so fabulous with those hairstyles. I thought was your mother doing.” “She would like to, but she’s got no time. So...” “You act like it bugs you, but deep down you love doing it for her.” No response other than a resounding snort and an eye roll that did not escape the mirror. “it’s nice. It’s your way of showing her your love.” “I guess we all end up succumbing to our sisters in one way or another.” She chuckled, “I assume so.” A sudden veil of sadness darkened her eyes, although the shadow of an affectionate smile lingered on her rosy lips.
“And... how are things? Got used to the reef yet? You have met no one like us before.” The sudden change of subject served as a clear distraction from thinking about Spider. But, however poorly, it succeeded as an attempt, Celeste was still grateful to him. “To be honest, I saw pictures of you. I already had an idea of what you looked like. Yet seeing you in person is a whole other thing.” She was staring at him. “May I?” she asked, extending her hand toward the stake on his arm. Celeste was surprised at the hard but flexible texture. She had imagined it cartilaginous, but there was clearly a muscular structure underneath the fin-like membrane. She traced the entire outline of the excrescence. From the elbow to the wrist and then along the back of the hand where the pinky finger started, which appeared far more robust than the Na’vi of the forests. Like the rest of their frame. Taking advantage of her own petite figure, the girl wedged herself under his arm so she could analyze his back muscles. Defined and prominent, they followed the line of a chunkier ribcage.  If the Omatikaya sternum had always seemed pronounced, the Metkayina’s was bulky.
Ao’nung trembled under the imperceptible touch of her fingers as they came down to graze the base of his solid tail, and he blushed. A violet-pinkish tint colored his nose and cheekbones, making the azure of his eyes even more vivid. He had to hold his breath as he turned just enough to hide his face.  In vain. “I’m sorry. I went too far. It’s a susceptible spot, isn’t it?” "It's all good," he shrugged and shook his head. "Hey, fun fact, humans used to have tails," she said with a chuckle and a hint of guilt. As if it were an attempt to make it up to him. “Well, it wasn’t really a “tail” per se. It was more of an appendage. 25 million years ago, this mutation happened. It left only a handful of caudal vertebrae to form the coccyx.” Ao’nung stared at her raptly. Although he didn’t understand a significant part of what she said (too many specific English terms were mixed in with the Na’vi), it fascinated him to hear her talk about such distant and complicated topics. “Believe it or not, we have a small tail when we're embryos that eventually merges with our spine.” “I can’t picture you with a tail.” ”Me neither. A human with a tail,” she laughed. “I’ve heard of rare cases of babies being born with a tiny stump, but it is removed.” The boy scratched his throat, another slight blush clouding his cheeks. “Which one do you like best?” “Hmm?” The way she tilted her head doubtfully was tremendously adorable. “Which kind of tail do you prefer? Ours or the forest people’s?” The girl took her chin between her teeny tiny fingers. “Actually, never crossed my mind. I didn’t really consider how it looks, just how well it adapts to the environment. You Na’vi are built differently than us humans, with a physical differentiation that we do not have. Nor do other species that lived on Earth, as far as I know, with rare exceptions.”
Like dogs, she restrained herself from saying that. Celeste supposed he wouldn’t like being compared to a pet, in scientific terms or not. "But if I had to pick, I guess yours is more unique. To the forest natives I am used to, though, so…” The answer he received did not meet his expectations, yet it sufficed for Ao'nung's pride. In its own way, it was equivalent to being told he was better looking than Lo’ak or Neteyam. Or whatever other male there was in the Omatikaya clan.
“Want to check out anything else? Dunno, the stripes or the nictitating membrane. But I gotta submerge my head for that one or it won’t come out.” He said the last sentence in a pensive tone. “There is one thing I would like to look at. That's not really a physical trait, it's more of a cultural thing.” “What is it?” “Your tattoo.”  Not waiting for an answer, she took his arm between both hands, running her gaze over the elaborate tribal pattern that dyed much of his arm black. From the wrist to the deltoid, and a small portion of the trapezius and pectoral. Segments, waves, and stick figures that showed achievement, status, and social position. Each addition was a rite of passage, a goal attained, and his role in the clan. The art of tattooing was a widespread practice. All tattoos were considered a gift from both Eywa and the clan. They were unique and told the story of the individual’s life. In particular, arm tattoos represented the more exposed protective shield of the seawall, meant to protect the Metkayina from dangerous wildlife lurking within their oceans. Thus a hunter, a warrior, somebody strong who could provide for the clan. "This one's more pigmented," Celeste noted. “It’s recent. It symbolizes the secure embrace of the central island. Someday, I'm gonna be the olo'eyktan. I'll be responsible for looking after my people, both inside and out, keeping them safe and leading them.” Absentmindedly, she traced the outlines of the design imprinted at hip level and outlining the pelvis, causing him a shiver that she pretended to ignore.
“You know, how I learned about Metkayina is kinda funny.” The sentence sounded totally random, but it still aroused his interest. The Socorro twins weren’t the sole human children born on Pandora; others had preceded them during the first colonization attempt. They were the fruit of unlikely loves and irrepressible passions that took place on sleepless nights at headquarters. Where the risk of accidental death and the fear that they had not really lived took over, silencing all appropriate doubts. All those children were grown up enough to survive cryo, unlike Spider and Celeste. But although they had left Pandora, a trace of them remained.; a legacy from when the base still communicated regularly with planet Earth. Cartoons. Of them all, the little girl’s favorite was the Little Mermaid. A veritable obsession, Spider and Lo’ak would complain, earning a tugged smile from Neteyam and a frown from the child herself, for, from that moment on, legends about mermaids became her main interest.
“It is uncertain they exist, but here on Pandora there is a sea folk who are close to them.”
"As foolish as it may sounds, when I was growing up I wanted to find one.” Ao'nung let out an amused snort. “Silly, isn't it? They are an Earth legend, it's impossible to find them here on Pandora. Yet, the thing I wanted most in the world was to see one. Even if only from a distance. When Jake would take us to play near the coast, I would always stare out to sea, hoping to catch a glint of the sun bouncing off the scales. After all, what could have been more extraordinary than a fish-tailed human who could breathe underwater. It gave me an inexplicable sense of freedom, hope. I guess I wanted to be one of them to escape the reality of being born in the most inhospitable place possible for my species. A child who belonged to nothing and no one, confined behind a mask. You know, it was right around that time that I first heard about you. From Norm." "Norm?" "The scientist I came here with." The boy's lips drew a silent O. "Norm showed me documents about you, explaining your communion with the sea. How your bodies had adapted to swimming and apnea.”
"Like mermaids!" She commented ecstatically, with childlike wonder in her big brown eyes. Norm laughed, "Something like that.”
"I think you are the closest thing to a siren. Or a sea monster." He attempted with a sly expression to which the man replied with a smile and a quick shake of his head."From the way you describe them, there are female specimens." "On no, there are also tritons, their male counterparts. They just aren't mentioned often in fairy tales. In the past on Earth, role diversification was very pronounced between men and women. The latter were discriminated against to the point that they weren’t allowed so many things, including traveling by sea. Women aboard ships were said to bring bad luck." Ao'nung's disgusted expression said a lot about his opinion on the subject, Humans really are that stupid. Yet, he didn’t utter a word, preferring to keep listening. "Since legend has it that the people of the sea feed on human flesh-and the only seafaring people at that time were men-they were described as women of rare beauty and a bewitching voice. By singing they hypnotized sailors who, dragged underwater, drowned."
"You tawtute have interesting stories," he said dangerously close to her face in a melodious voice. "Sorry to disappoint you, but my legs do not turn into fishtails in the water, and my voice has no such power," he smiled cunningly, and Celeste was tempted to deny that last statement. "I do confirm, though, that I have a taste for human flesh. I could eat you in one mouthful."
Her heart lost a beat. The allussiveness at the bottom of his eyes made them a very dark shade, of the usual vibrant blue there was hardly a trace left. Ao'nung wanted her. Here and now. On that same beach that
had been more often than she could count witness to their growing closeness. More than she wanted to admit. She would be lying if she claimed not to have noticed how the Na'vi looked at her, with a fondeness she was not used to. How his hands rested that extra moment on her. Perfect reflections of the behavior she also displayed toward him, unable to restrain herself. That candor was disarming though, totally unsuspected.
They weren’t just friends, that was evident by now.
But as she searched for something to say that was not unintelligible babble, he did something even more surprising. Gently he pulled Celeste onto his lap, with one hand encircling her back, and the other tilting her neck back just enough to bring her face close to his. And slowly, without ever looking away, he rested his forehead against the glass of the mask. He closed his eyes, inhaled and finally placed his lips against the surface. Parochial in the face, at first the girl did not know what to do, yet a little encouragement — Ao'nung's fingers pressing a little more on the nape of her neck — was enough to induce her to approach the glass. It was weird to describe what she felt. Despite the barrier, on the other side she felt the pressure of Ao'nung's kiss, his lips molding against the smooth surface.
Their first kiss. Just as strange as them.
She sensed him smiling against her lips as he returned the kiss. He sank his face into her neck and, for a long moment, the two just breathed, reveling in each other's warmth. After the gentle start, her fingers slid over his ankle and up his calf, then over the knee that brushed against his pelvis. Certain that no one would find them there, what was left of Celeste's clothes scattered across the sand. Believe it or not, Ao’nung was the sweetest man in the world in bed, cuddling her by whispering sweet nothings in her ear. Their bodies rocked together as they listened to the creaking of palm trees and the rustle of the sea sliding against the shoreline. And she melted in his strong arms, malleable as clay. There was something indescribable in the mischief that shone through his eyes, soon replaced by impatience as he laid her on the ground. Celeste shivered as he positioned himself between her legs. The coils of her stomach tensed as he brought her shins to the sides of his head and anchored himself to her thighs. It was very tender and affectionate the way he caressed her, "Don't hide from me." Slowly she opened her legs, allowing a glimpse of the folds, wet and glistening. She yearned so much for him to touch her, but even without speaking Ao'nung had already noticed, staring at her through impossibly black eyelashes. He slipped two fingers into his mouth, smeared them with saliva, and brought them back down to slide over her clitoris. Without warning he peeled back the fabric and pushed them inside, swirling them upward, and she gasped. He removed his fingers only to put them back in her mouth and swirled his tongue around to taste some of her flavors. He kept his eyes on her as he emitted a little mumbling around his phalanges, his
smile was salacious, "Tasty." She was about to say his name when he lifted that last flap of fiber between them and purred. A small smile pressed against his knee pleased by such surrender. He kissed him softly, languidly, but when he dragged. his lips over her inner thigh, his voice was dangerously excited, "You don't know how long I've been waiting for this." She was breathing heavily, absolutely humiliated to be there, with her legs spread apart and her vulva squished in the face of the raven-haired man who seemed so eager to have that perfect face splattered with her. On the beach to boot. Ao'nung leaned forward, arms firmly hooked at her knees to block her movements, "Let me know when you're about to come," for a handful of fleeting seconds she let her heavenly smile return. He watched her features, savoring every single expression as she turned into a disaster of sobs and gasps, "I want to eat you.” Jaws teasing the elastic skin, tongue titillating her clitoris, phalanges rhythmically violating her, reveling in the way her heels tapped on his massive shoulders, how her back arched in unnatural poses. As his fingers churned in circular motions to stimulate that much sought-after spongy pad, she felt mounting inside her the nagging sensation of having to go to the bathroom, just at that crucial moment. She tightened her pelvic muscles. "A-ao'nung... s-stop… I have to p—" "It's squirt," quivered the man's voice, one corner of his mouth lifted higher than the other, staring at her so haughtily, so victoriously, "Relax, let go," he hissed.
"N-no, please, I'm not comfortable." "Making people uncomfortable is what I do best." He wanted a show. That sentence seemed to cast a spell on her, because with another hit, she felt something thicken in her pit, she clung to the boy's hair, "I can't hold it anymore!" The man lifted his fingers and, before she could lament the loss, replaced them with the tip of his tongue. His wet fingertips held her widened opening, diving between her thighs to devour her in a way that made her gasp and tug at her dark locks, "God, Nung... I'm going to...," escaped her by closing her knees around his head. Ao'nung growled upon hearing that new nickname as he lapped at every crevice between her walls. The tip of his nose brushed against her spongy nub continually, but only when he moaned did he decide to gather it between his lips, sucking it greedily; the same with which he moistened them when the spray hit him. The final stimulation he needed to climax. "At last," he exclaimed panting as he ravenously cleansed her. She felt the viscosity of her own arousal sticking in her inner-thigh where Ao'nung's moist cheeks brushed against her. She was stunned, breathless and exhausted as he rolled onto his back and laid Celeste on his chest. A proud smile colored his face. He stroked her chin, relieved to look him straight in the eye, those sharp, criminal eyes, and haphazardly dusted the grains of sand from her hair and later from her body.
Blissing in the warmth of the sun, the tenderness of his embrace, and the comfort of his heart, Celeste snuggled against his chest, closed her eyelids, and dozed off. A soft smile adorned her lips.
In Ao'nung's arms, she was finally home.

A lot of his peers from school assume he's just some muscular, hot headed guy with an ego so big, when in actuality he's not.
He was, until he met you.
People change, people don't change. He was the first factor.
People naturally assume Ao'nung is the type to just buy you expensive shit that have no meaning, but he really puts thought into every little thing he buys or crafts himself.
Also assuming that your relationship with Ao'nung was going to end after one month.
How could that possibly happen if he is head over heels for you?
Mans is caught off guard by the thought of you, even when you're not there with him physically
Brags about you, his kind and sweet girlfriend 25/8 just because.
"Bro my girl is so fucking cute, she met my mum yesterday and brought her flowers. like??? if you want me to get on my knees, just say so babe. My dad and Tsireya love her already... AND OH MY GOSH, my baby sister, Luna, Y/N held her for five seconds and Luna was already so smiley and giggling. Like yeah Luna, I get the same feeling,"
"We've heard this shit for the last 10 minutes" his friend rolls his eyes playfully.
When he's playing basketball with his friends, he's the type to shout "Oi, this is for my missus" before shooting the ball, and making it in.
Laughs at Lo'ak when he attempts to shoot for Tsireya but misses the hoop completely 😹
"Mean ass airball" is all Ao'nung says while chuckling
Bites back to the mfs who want him, even when they know damn well he's got a girlfriend
He posts about you every hour of the day, how could anyone not know ☠️
rayraybae has sent you a message!
rayraybae: hey you got some fine ass back muscles
m.nung: i will literally make a film of my girlfriend leaving scratch marks all over my back, back the fuck up.
Ao'nung says before blocking the user that texted. Rolling his eyes, he places his phone on the night table of yours. Sitting up from his position, his arms wrap around your waist as you sat on the edge of your bed. He lifts you easily on his lap as you let out a soft squeal. "Ao'nung!" you softly say, blushing intensely.
"Let me hold you, baby," he says smirking into your neck, pecking along your shoulder trailing up. Whispering into your ear, "I want us to try something."
Grabbing your phone and press onto the camera icon before hitting record. Placing your phone on the side table while his phone lit up with notifications. Getting the perfect landscape angle of the both of you, as he lays on top of giving your neck slow and sensual kisses. From the corner of his eyes, he caught a glimpse of his phone repeatedly turning on and off, yet he ignored it as he was too busy with the lovemaking you were about to do.
That little thing he said before was half true and half untrue.
Truthful to making you scream his name while scratching his back, recording it all
The untrue factor was sending it.
He respects you and knows your boundaries (every relationship has boundaries ofc) he only really said it to her because bro just loves to argue and brag about his girlfriend
Every recording you make, whether on his or your phone stayed between you two.
Posts a lot about you. His insta story, his tiktoks, twitter acc = all about you. Lets you make tiktoks on his account to show you off
But sets his comments only for his mutuals, he doesn't fuck with the comments that talk about you as if you aren't his.
Hell, his bio on everything is "@y/nnnnn 💓" or "i love my girlfriend."
Trusts you 100%, doesn't force you to give him your passwords to anything nor asks to check your phone
Spams your camera roll so much, like a lot.
Once he sees your phone without you around, he's already on your camera roll
"Mama. Mama, come. I got y/n's phone, she's in the bathroom. Pose with Luna. Smile Mum." he says with a hushed tone, smiling with his arm around his mother's shoulder. Ronal chuckles at her son's actions, the newborn baby in her arms, she lays her head on his shoulder as she sees in the camera her newborn baby lying against her chest.
"Hey! Let me be in it!" Tsireya quietly whispers before making her way beside Ronal, kissing her cheek as Ao'nung presses the shutter button.
That happened last week because now Ao'nung was smothering kisses all over your face while you giggled after he saw your new lock screen.
He loves to send paragraphs
Loves typing (even writing letters) paragraphs all about you. From the way your laughter sounds like a melody from Eywa, how your smile along with your pearly white teeth make him also smile, how your soul ties him in.
He loves pda, but not the type where you both makeout with each other's tongue down your throat
(i have a couple from my school who does this & it makes me wanna cry cos literally stop & go to class pls.)
Holding hands, wrapping an arm around your shoulder, hugging, kissing your knuckles (uses you as an armrest to tease you but stops when you elbow his side.)
Forehead kisses, kisses on the cheek & pecks, that's how far he'll go in public.
in private, BROS GOING HAM DURING MOUTH TO MOUTH SESH.
"Nung," you let out a breathy laugh as you feel your boyfriend trail kisses from the side of your mouth down to your neck.
"Hm?" he mumbles, lightly sucking and licking the sweet spot of your neck. You moan lightly, too immersed in the pleasure. "O-oh!" you gasp slightly, your hands now on the back of his head, bringing him closer.
"Nevermind, keep going," you say as you feel Ao'nung smirk into your neck.
Loves to spoil you.
Whether it be with clothes, makeup, shoes, stuffed bears. Anything.
But his most favourite are handmade gifts
He loves it when you shyly hide your squeal of excitement to everything, but when he pulls out an origami rose that he sprayed with your favourite perfume rather than an expensive stuffed bear, he loves seeing the glimmer in your eyes
Since you're his baby, he's already got both the handmade and the expensive shit hiding in his bag.
As he pulls out the bouquet of paper-coloured flowers from behind his back, he watches as you hide your squeal with your small hand, a bright blush appears on your face as you bring him into a tight hug, your head on his chest. You pull away before rocking from side to side shyly as you look to the ground, hiding back a smile as you hold onto the bouquet softly.
"Thank you, Nung, they are absolutely cute. I love them," you say politely, your nose slightly red. You stand on your tippy toes as you kiss his cheek. He smiles gently at you, wrapping his arm around your shoulder, walking with you. "Well, I love you."
He will fight for you, doesn't care if the person is taller or more muscular (as if he's not already the tallest mf in school 🧍‍♀️)
Will never, ever bring up the fact that he got his ass beat by Lo'ak when he was 15
If Lo'ak were the one to bring it up to you, he'd definitely tell Tsireya about all the stank ass piss stains he used to leave on his bed when he was sixteen.
Neteyam told Ao'nung this because he just felt like it. Or maybe Lo'ak just pissed him off that day, who knows.
Safe to say that if they sparred now, Lo'ak's ass is 6 feet underground.
But they're best friends now, won't ever happen.
"He what? Where the fuck is he?" He angrily says, throwing his bag off his back harshly. You look around frantically, "Nung, really. It's okay," you calmly say as you grab his bag before following behind him, trying to grab one of his arms.
"No, no, no, he touched your thigh when you told him to stop."
He walks around the halls and finally spots the guy he was searching for. Rushing up to him as you call out his name from behind, stopping as you figured it was no use. Grabbing him by his collar, he harshly throws the guy up against a wall. As people surround the two, you can only watch as his friends try and pry him away from the poor, shaken up boy. Lo'ak who made his way beside you, grinning at the sight.
"I would've gotten my ass beat if I tried to intervene," Lo'ak snickers. You roll your eyes before push his shoulder roughly as a joke.
Both your faces cringed and heard the crowd grow loud as you heard something from the crowd crack. A few seconds later, you see Ao'nung being pulled away from the crowd as the guy on the ground holds his nose, blood staining his hands.
You look over to your boyfriend who had an angered expression on his face, his shirt being pulled at as four of his friends pushed him back. His shirt slightly riling up, revealing his define V line and toned abs. "Touch my missus again, I'll fucking knock you out." You hear him yell out.
"He deserves some good head," you blurt out. Lo'ak side eyes you so fucking hard.
He walks you to class <333
If you have a class together, best believe mans is seated next to you
But if he knows one of your best friend's in the same class, he rather you sit with them
He feels like you spend a lot of time with him & rarely with your friend group, so he feels slightly guilty
Although you feel the opposite as you've sorted a way to spend time equally with both him & your friends, you give him a soft peck on the lips for the lovely thought
If you do sit together though, it doesn't necessarily mean he'll be distracting you with kisses and secret whispers of affection
He knows education means a lot to you and knows when and when not to be affectionate
You do still hold hands under the table often, or link arms.
You both take notes, help each other out, ask each other on what you've misheard from the teacher
He does give your thigh or hand a comforting squeeze when he notices your brows furrow or a slight pout on your lips form, an overwhelming feeling taking over your body as you look stumped on a certain task
You both are mature people and can communicate, so he lets you speak your thoughts rather than going ahead and helping you immediately, if that makes sense
Only when you really feel like something is too much and you can't talk or communicate properly like you both usually can, that's when he drops his shit and soothes you.
"Would you like some help, baby?" he whispered soothingly, his hand comfortingly caressing your thigh, as he notices your confused expression. The rest of the class was too focused on their sheets of paper. You were too caught up in your thoughts that you let your hands massage the temple of your head. You shake your head, signalling no.
"It's okay if you don't know the answer immediately, sweets. You don't need to rush," His hand now on your back, sliding up and down slowly.
For a few seconds, he lets you take a breather, and you finally answer with a broken voice and a small whisper. "Can you help me please?"
"Of course, lovely," an arm around your shoulder and he kisses your temple. "Which part are you stuck on? We can break it down and solve it."
Doesn't give any care about who you're friends with, even if they're a guy. Will warn you or hint if he knows something is up with certain people.
Is protective, will always be there behind your back to defend you.
He has friends that are girls, but aren't close with them either. Even if he is close with another girl, bro never touches her. Just a simple dap is good enough to him.
As soon as he gets the "I got something to tell you." text from a girl.
Blocked. Sorry, but he literally blocks them.
He knows exactly what that six worded sentence means because those were the exact words he said to you before confessing.
He has a girlfriend and only has eyes for you, they should know better than to pull shit like that 🤷‍♀️.

A devious smile sits on your face while you watch Ao’nung squirm and fidget underneath you. His hips jerk and buck dying for friction. You move your hips back and forth lazily just enough to keep him hard and twitching inside of you, but nowhere near enough to help him finish yet.
“Please, yawne. I need…need you t-to move…” he pleas with you throwing his head back. This was torture for him and you knew it. But that was what made it hot.
“Mmm, I can’t hear you, my love.” You tease turning up your vibrator that sat against your pulsing clit making you moan louder.
Ao’nung watches you with drunk eyes that are just on the verge of watering.
“I-I need to cum!” his voice cracks just the slightest bit and it makes you bite your lip.
“Hmmm…” you pretend to think about it for a moment starting to lift your hips just about an inch finally giving him a glimmer of hope. “Nope.” You quickly sit back down and rip away his chance at real relief opting instead to rub the head of your vibrator in circles on your clit.
He lets out a pained groan and his whole body shudders desperate for you to give him what he needs.
“Please, please, sevin!” he cries out.
You reach out one hand to hold his face and make him look at you. His eyes are glistening with tears that are starting to form and his parted lips spill panting breaths. His skin is slick with sweat and his hair is in messy, loose curls on his head.
“God, you’re so pretty when you beg.” You coo at him. It was true, the sight of him pleading beneath you and desperate to fuck you senseless made heat ignite in your belly and the knot in your core was ready to snap at any second. “I’ll give you what you need soon, love.”
“No, I need you now” he whines. His hands sneak their way up to hold your hips to try and make you move on his own. You quickly smack his hands away causing him to groan again.
It was getting to be overwhelming for Ao’nung. He was always the impatient type. Cockwarming was fine for him when you’d go to sleep together and he wanted to be extra close to you, but right now, he was fighting for his life trying to reach his release. And you were making it hell for him. It was already a tight fit for him inside of you, but with you using your vibrator, not only could he also feel the gentle rumbling from inside of you, it would also make your walls clench and pulse around him even tighter. He was starting to feel delirious from his need.
“I’ll do anything. Whatever you want! Just please move!” he says letting his head fall back against your headboard in defeat.
“Anything?”
His ears immediately perk up hearing your tone and he looks at you like how a puppy looks at a treat. “Yes. Yes! Anything! Just please let me cum!”
“Tell me how good it feels and maybe I’ll give you what you want.”
You didn’t have to tell him twice. “You feel so good, yawne. So warm and wet. Mmf and you’re squeezing me so tight. I want to cum inside of you so bad.”
“Ahhh…fuck…” you moan listening to him. “Ahh, I’m so close, Nung. More!”
His hands slide up to grope at your tits and tease your nipples between his fingertips. “You’re so perfect. My beautiful mate feels so good. I love having my cock inside you.”
“Mmm, Ao’nung!” your head spins when your orgasm finally crashes into you. Your whole body shakes on top of him and he sucks in a sharp breath feeling the constant fluttering of your walls around his dick. A sinful moan falls from your mouth and you finally pull the vibrator away before you scream.
Both of your chests heave dramatically catching your breath. When you look at Ao’nung’s face, his eyes are still pleading with you waiting for permission to take what he wants. You just smile at him and press a messy kiss to his lips.
“Take it.”
In seconds, his hands are on your ass and his hips are fucking into you wildly knocking the wind out of your smaller body.
“You are mean, you know that?”
“Shut up, you loved it.”
