HI BFF CONGRATS ON 5 MIL!! amia famous era real ?! anyways, i’d like to req the scenario of “boyfriend hoodie”/sharing clothes with me and anzu! im 180cm and she’s tiny asf and i think that’s cute 🫶

personality: i like to think im a pretty outgoing person? i’ve been told i make friends easily and am always the loudest person in the room. but i do like my peace and quiet, so i guess you could say im an ambivert? im enthusiastic about my interests and tend to ramble for long periods of time. i also have a quick temper… i’ve been told i come off as “flirty” too hehe.

style: usually i just wear whatever is comfortable, like baggy hoodies and shorts. im preferential to pants/shorts but i do wear the occasional skirt/dress when the occasion calls for it.

taste in music/media: pretty much exciting stuff with not too much content? something with a more linear direction that is easy to follow… basically i think media where it isn’t a necessity to be caught up on content so you can do so in your own time :3 for music, i pretty much listen to whatever catches my fancy at the time lol but rn it’s a lot of jpop (vocaloid, enstars, etc) and kpop (ateez, le sserafim, etc)

legs linked together and bodies close, they both slept quietly. anzu woke up first, moving to sit up before reze pulled her back under the covers. “we’re off today.. let’s just sleep in..” they mumbled and anzu smiled, playing with their hair as they fell back asleep.

after an hour or so, reze woke back up and sat up. as they yawned, anzu sat up as well and kissed them on the cheek. “good morning, did you sleep well?” she asked, and they nodded. “do you wanna go get breakfast? i don’t feel like cooking..” they asked before yawning and she replied “sure, let me get a jacket though since it’s kinda cold.”

they got dressed into a random shirt pants combo, before throwing on jackets and hoodies. anzu wore rezes hoodie unknowing of their name on the back of it, and while leaving the house reze pointed it out. “are you wearing my hoodie?” they asked, and anzu shrugged. “probably. but it doesn’t matter does it?” she said and reze kissed her cheek before they walked to a store nearby. ritsu waved at them as he was leaving, before pointing out anzus hoodie. “you guys are so cute. i wish i brought maos hoodie..” he said before joining mao on the bench, opening the bag he had and handing him a drink.

you two entered the store and got what you wanted, before walking out and back home. “it seems like everyone noticed it today.” anzu said while plopping on the couch, almost spilling her coffee in the process. “it’s okay though, it’s cute!” reze said and pat her head.

here’s some outfits for her!! tbh the winter one was made on the spot soooo idk if it’ll actually stay

here’s the faux scout cards <3 they took way too long to make and yes i stole the bg of the second one from mika’s card (the first is also from the game). i’m not drawing a background

heres some more info about her. no organization im just gonna spout some rapid fire facts. keep in mind she is a little bit (a lot bit) of a self indulgent oc <3

-she is what i am dubbing a fill-in idol. essentially, she’s an idol who fills in for other units when they’re missing a member for a performance . this is why she works with valkyrie most often (she can take the roll of shu or nazuna for ex songs)

-her first name comes from a song (hikari by royal scandal). no real reason i just like the song lol

-she left switch on very good terms (she’s still besties with all 3 of them). she just left because she thought the unit functioned better as a trio (“you three shine brighter on stage without me~”) she still performs with them from time to time though (usually for smaller audiences, or she just joins them for practice)

-she’s been friends with mika since before they entered yumenosaki (they applied together), and became close to arashi in her first year too. she had planned on trying out for valk alongside him, but got caught up with switch

-speaking of switch! she runs into tsumugi on the day that he first visits the library (with the key rei gives him to get into the secret area) and recognizes him as one of the fine members . she goes with him to the library and meets natsume there (same scene as canon just. she’s there .) she gets along really well with him (and with mugi), which is why she ends up as a member of switch during her second year.

-she used to have a crush on nazuna (product of watching the performances and going to mika’s practices) . not really relevant i just wanted to throw it out there. does she have a crush on someone now? i don’t know

-her last name (yuuta) is intentionally the same as my twst oc, aurelia . they are sisters (aurelia is the older one by a year and a few months -(her bday is 2/2)). my thought is that when aurelia is sent to the world of twst, somehow the people who know her in her or world forget about her, so hikari doesn’t remember her as of now .

-she works part time at the same diner/restaurant/whatever as niki. he has to teach her a Lot about cooking though (she’s getting better)

-she absolutely Hates hates hatesssss rinne and crazy:b when they first start to cause trouble. she’s very protective over her friends and the other idols at es. even though she dislikes eichi for everything he did, she recognizes and appreciates the work he’s put into making es. she doesn’t like how crazy:b throws themselves into others live shows (live shows are so important and personal to units!!), and she gets very snappy and upset with them for it. however, she does her best to keep the peace when she’s around them because they’re under the same agency. after the main story stuff in !! finished though she begins to understand the position rinne +the bees were in, and she starts to forgive them and grow somewhat close to them. i would put them in the frenemies area

-i think her shuffle unit would be flambé!…? i tried to make it branco since they only have 4 members, but since she works with sora so often i think that disqualifies her. i really would like her to be in blend+ but again. same problem

-i think she’s close with anzu too. girlies gotta stick together! her, anzu and naru can go out for girls nights together

-the only unit she doesn’t really fill in for is 2wink because . the whole twin dynamic. kinda hard to replace one . and mam/doubleface obv

i watched the anime romantic killer when it first came out, and finally got round to reading the manga. tbh, i prefer the anime slightly more, but the manga is great! there’s hardly any difference between the two, i think, but i’m sad that there wasn’t further content for the manga tbh! (apparently the manga got cancelled and then the anime got made, but woe, i would have enjoyed seeing what anzu did next tbh)

lil bit surprised that the entire manga was in colour tbh! i… actually prefer the black and white layout tbh…

tbh i wouldn’t mind an anime only s2, continuing the storyline/loveline, with anzu forming actual feelings (maybe??) (or officially make her aroace/beat the system) because you could develop the characters further, even though the open ending of both animanga is nice… but. doubtful of that happening. idk who anzu should have ended up with, everyone would have been cute tbh.

anyway it was short and sweet and v. enjoyable poking fun at romcoms, and i liked it a lot.

9/10 for me.

"Perhaps they are simply very hungry?" Sonia offered, though having several fish suckle at her fingers in search of more fish food than she'd been permitted to give proved to be sufficient in keeping her from giving Shinobu her full attention. Sonia grinned: it was the strangest feeling, the fish kisses, but it wasn't unpleasant. Far from it, even if for most the prospect of scaly, slippery fish showing affection towards humans would elicit disgust. "More than usual? But I have gotten on well with many of Tanaka-san's animals. This is the first time I am becoming acquainted with live fish, but perhaps it may be a similar circumstance. But I am glad, no matter the reason!"

Still, she didn't want to inconvenience her friend more than she already had. Upon getting to her feet and having one of her hands once again taken by Shinobu's, Sonia opened her mouth to protest as they approached the house. Her hands were wet and terribly fishy, not the most desirable situation to be in if she was to share her hand with another. But Shinobu's was too, and that, alongside with her opening the door and beckoning Sonia inside, rendered her silent. Instead, she slipped off her shoes when the layout of the house prompted: she didn't have much experience being invited to homes in Japan yet. At the Imperial Palace and the splendid residence of the Prime Minister, she'd been a guest several times. But nothing quite so normal.

Or, as Sonia noticed, sparse. Japanese design was similar to Scandinavian, she thought, at least by how minimalist it was. "Thank you, though I shall try not to leave too large of puddles," Sonia replied, though her head had been turned every which way: side to side, the ceilings and the aforementioned floor. A few decorations, an intricately-pruned bonsai tree, and lots and lots of wood fixtures.

Large and traditional as it was, it was a world away from what she was used to: collections of antiques and artifacts carefully arranged by several interior decorators, gifts from various nobles and fellow royals, and portraits adorning nearly every wall and room: from great masters of the past, the latest trends in modern art, and royal portraiture that recorded centuries of the House of Nevermind in oil, pencil, and watercolor. And nothing in Shinobu's home possessed a gilded gold finish, or chimed loudly upon the hour, every hour, or featured a discreetly placed button to call down below stairs whenever a need arose.

Sonia was enchanted, nodding as Shinobu guided her through the first floor of the house to the second. It did share, at least, something in common with Novoselic Castle without any tours or events to take place: it was far too quiet, especially with its vast size. Did her friend have no other family, or other practitioners of her sport to stop by?

That was where the similarities seemingly ended: whether it was at Hope's Peak or Novoselic, their living spaces were nothing alike. In comparison to Sonia's silk-upholstered furnishings, her canopy bed, the separate yet connected room that made up both her closet and armory, Shinobu's room seemed nearly devoid of anything personal or significant to her. A place to sleep, Sonia thought, rather than a refuge from the world. Her talent was represented, naturally, but to Sonia's delight she found that Shinobu kept a small library of her own. Many books she was familiar with due to their cultural or historical significance, sure, but plenty she knew nothing about. She smiled, her expression becoming warmer, fonder, at both the hideous figure of a plant and the photobooth snaps of Shinobu and Anzu. The figure she recognized from her father's office, but she couldn't place the name, and the photos...

"Do you not keep more photographs, Yaguchi-san?" Sonia asked, eyebrows raised as she looked over the two best friends, acting as Sonia expected: Anzu full of energy and Shinobu looking like any enthusiasm would be displayed on request or by force. "Or is that not done in Japanese households? Forgive me, I have not had the opportunity to be invited to many so I do not have much to compare to. But at home, photographs and portraits alike are much cherished by people from all walks of life. Especially those of ancestors, of family and friends."

It hadn't been a criticism, merely a question as she tried to decipher differences between Novosonian and Japanese customs, the differences between Sonia Nevermind and Shinobu Yaguchi. They both liked feeding fish and enjoyed kaiju movies, but Sonia now wondered if that was where the common ground ended. "Which one is your favorite?" She interjected, to her own surprise, gesturing towards the bookshelf. "I like to read too, you see."

It was a start, as she thanked her before looking through her closet. The suits wouldn't fit and her friend seemingly had nothing in the way of a dress, or skirt, or a blouse other than a dress shirt made to coordinate with the suits. Sonia's hand, after having been wiped on her dress before reaching for Shinobu's clean clothes, paused when it reached her kimono. Her eyes widened in awe as fingertips brushed over the design: red flowers, with thin, long petals stood out against the black fabric. They gave Shinobu's closet, Shinobu's entire room even, energy. Color. Life, beyond being simply functional. She couldn't help herself from smiling at it, and she wouldn't dream of asking to borrow it. Beyond the confusion of trying to put it on correctly (and not offend her host in the process), it belonged with her friend. Exemplified her, defined her, even if Sonia couldn't put into words why.

"May I borrow this?" She asked, finally deciding on a black samue set that she pulled free and held up towards Shinobu. It seemed like one of the easiest things to put on and wouldn't look entirely remiss when paired with her pink heels upon her leaving. Rather like some of the linen lounge sets at home, worn in pale shades popular with grannies in the summer which meant it was modest. Modesty, she'd been reminded, when paired with discretion and the best PR team money could buy, were the three most valuable assets a royal had when avoiding scandal. Beyond protecting her skin, it was why she'd been relegated to wet suits during swimming holidays. "And," She continued, accepting the towel with a nod of thanks. "Might I be able to change in your bathroom? Forgive me, I am not quite used to undressing in front of others, my maids at home aside." Despite the fact they were both girls, the aforementioned modesty was too important for her to forget.

Sensing that the topic of family was a delicate one, Shinobu said nothing further of her mother. Having not spoken to her in nearly six years, she had no idea whether the woman would be proud of her. She'd packed up her things as quickly as she could and disappeared out the front gate without looking back. Where she lived, whether she was in contact with Masaru, and even whether she and their father had legally divorced, Shinobu wasn't sure. Considering how little she was spoken of in the Yaguchi house, it was as though she'd never existed at all.

And so, Shinobu shouldn't think of her, not when there were other things that demanded her attention. "They're always fed, without fail, even when I'm away for competitions, and yet they treat each mealtime as though it might be their last," she observed after stepping aside. "It would be easy to overfeed them, since they look so pitifully needy even after eating." Contrary to Shinobu's often-cold tone, that was said with an almost affectionate affect. "They're rather manipulative in that sense, though it's rather difficult to be upset with them."

Kneeling down beside Sonia, she watched as the other girl fed the fish with such clear delight and joy upon her face. For her part, Shinobu didn't notice the faintest hint of a smile growing upon her own lips until it had already taken hold. "They seldom warm up to someone so quickly. I don't believe I've ever seen them eat from someone's hand at the very first meal." Of course, it made a certain sort of sense. Sonia projected a kind and warm energy that they imagined most people, and animals, would find soothing and pleasant. Though Shinobu would never describe the koi as intelligent, they did possess a certain judgment of character.

As Sonia fed the koi, Shinobu simply dipped her already-wet hand into the pond, letting the fish glide over her palm. Periodically, one would wriggle back and forth happily, enjoying the self-inflicted belly rub that came from pressing itself against her hand. This, too, caused a light, quiet smile to settle on Shinobu's face. It wouldn't be unpleasant, they reasoned, to sit out here in decent weather with Sonia and the koi, but Sonia was right - overfeeding was dangerous, and to stay near the fish after a mealtime only contributed to a mild sense of food-related stress. And yes, Sonia needed to change. "I'm glad they cooperated," they said, standing up.

Noticing that both of Sonia's hands were dripping, Shinobu took care to pick up her bags with her own dry hand. Without realizing it, she took one of Sonia's hand in her other one as she turned back to face her, then kept from letting go as she reasoned that they'd need to walk back along the path. With both of them having been splashed, it might be a bit slippery to walk upon the stones, so some steadiness would be of use. "But, you're right. We shouldn't delay much longer."

Even along the stone path, it was a short walk back to the house, and Shinobu slid open the door, motioning for Sonia to follow them inside. "Don't worry about dripping upon the floors. I intend to clean them today anyway." It wasn't important for Sonia to know where everything in the house was, but she seemed somewhat charmed by the traditional layout, so perhaps it was no issue. "The kitchen and living room are down this hallway, and my father's room is right here." Sliding doors meant that the living room and her father's room could be open to the elements when desired.

"And those small doors lead to the bathroom, the restroom, and the closet." The downstairs all gave off a traditional and rather minimalist aura, with few pieces of decoration save a few wall scrolls espousing the dojo's mantras, and an impressive bonsai tree meticulously cultivated by her father set into a small alcove. The house had been designed for large families; that only two people lived in it gave it a rather sparse, empty feeling, in Shinobu's opinion. Though, what they might do instead with it hardly mattered, in their father's eyes, so there was little point in complaining.

Up the stairs revealed the smaller second floor which led out to the balcony. "My room is right this way," Shinobu murmured, stepping past the room that had once been Masaru's, now rotting away as an unused guestroom, as well as the room that had once been her mother's study, now simply extra storage. At least this upstairs space had a slight increase in visual intrigue, with a painting of the ocean hanging upon the wall that greeted arriving visitors, and a fine wood endtable at the stairwell's side, upon which sat a fine vase. More of her mother's things, too unwieldy to easily take.

Shinobu's room was an oddity for a teenage girl, she knew that much, and though she wasn't often embarrassed, it was a slightly uncomfortable feeling to show someone how bland and unimportant it all was. Masaru's old bed sat in the corner with plain dark sheets, beside a small table with a day calendar. A small rack for a bow and some archery gear was propped up against the far wall, for occasions where she wouldn't have time in the morning to go to the dojo to retrieve her things. Beside the door to the small walk-in closet was a corkboard with pictures of Shinobu and Anzu from a photobooth, and a slightly grotesque toy figure of a plant kaiju resting atop a small bookshelf that included a number of classic novels, as well as modern classics typically enjoyed more by overly-thoughtful university students or other writers. There was even some work from an underclassman at Hope's Peak, a fact which had surprised Shinobu, though she supposed talent came in all forms and it wasn't strange for a young writer of such esteem to be invited.

"You may take whatever you like from my closet, Miss Nevermind. I regret that much of it may not be to your tastes, or your sizing, but perhaps there's something in there from a few years ago that might fit you." The suits would likely be a poor fit, but there were other things that could be better - samue, or the rare piece of casualwear. Their kimono was inside as well, Shinobu realized, though with how complicated it could be to put on, it seemed unlikely that it was a reasonable option. "Here's a towel as well, if you'd like to dry off." The towel was handed over, and as she pulled away, Shinobu caught sight of her school bag in the room's corner. Ah... Was now really any time to consider handing that over?
