Hi just wanted to remind everyone that this is the new disability flag and that July is disability pride month

This month celebrates every kind of disability, and with someone with both mental and physical disabilities, I feel like I should make a post about the new disability pride flag real quick. Image of it is right below this:

The old disability flag (the black one with the zig zags), from what I've lightly researched, was removed due to people with epilepsy and similar disabilities getting triggered by the bright, contrasting colors and general boldness, while other disabled people (myself included) just kinda hated it since it was ugly, so people came up with this one.

If I'm incorrect, please reblog this with the right information, as I had only lightly researched this and only found complaints about people with epilepsy getting triggered by the bright contrasting colors and the general fact that it was pretty ugly.
