#anywayz back to shipping... one of my fav ships i had in the past with nikki was with another sonic rper. they were so cute.

i do see nikki very easily developing crushes on other sonics. mainly because i feel like it adds a fun contrast between the typical "evil sonic" rivals, (metal/shadow/scourge/surge/etc.) who typically do not like sonic and even want him dead.

granted nikki isn't really an "evil" sonic LMAO, i'd label her more as a fallen hero. but still, she looks at sonic and sees everything she's failed to become. a well-rounded hero, the best friend and older sibling figure that everyone deserves, a good person, someone who's worth being alive.

and she's drawn to that. she wants to protect sonic and care for them. she wants to be a shoulder for them to cry on, and someone they can lend an ear to. she wants to serve as a warning so they don't end up like her one day.

basically, she has a hard time loving herself, so she loves other versions of herself instead.
