MY PLEASURE (thanks for enabling me, this somehow turned into a full propaganda post)

The short version is: VOTE JUNANA (Hoshimi and Nana)

But here’s the longer propaganda, and im gonna ramble a bit about both ships:

Maya x Nana

Full disclosure, i have not watched the stageplays, but based on what I’ve heard and the tags in this post, the main reason for people voting for MayaxNana is this scene here (particularly when you get to timestamp 4:07)

Basically Maya cuts off/stabs Nana’s arms in the fight. I can see why they’re in this poll bcos Maya is completely feral here akhdykcuochkvkcky. Also i did some research and these lyrics are based off the greek myth where Zeus falls in love with a woman named Europa, and kidnaps her by disguising as a bull. It’s implied that Maya is Zeus and Nana is Europa? So yeah. These two have a lot of toxic yuri going on and clearly has some baggage. Particularly because Nana is one of the few people able to challenge top student Tendou Maya.

However, I do somewhat agree with the person further up. At least compared to JunnaxNana, it’s not as personal. From what i know of these two, defeating each other is just a means to an end. (Again i dont know the full context of the stageplays so i may be wrong)

Now onto junnana

Junna x Nana

I present to you Junna and Nana’s Revue of Hunting aka their 10 minute long theatrical gay divorce.

While Maya and Nana are fighting to defeat each other, Junna and Nana fight because Nana is obsessed with her. Or a past version of her. So when she realises Junna is no longer the same person she used to be, she well…. tries to execute her.

SHE’S OBSESSED WITH HER

Nana literally spends the entire revue referring to the Junna in past tense because she’s no longer this ‘perfect’ version of her that Nana is clinging on to.

She’s grown possessive of Junna and tries to force her into this role she’s made up for her. Refers to her as ‘My Junna-chan’

I’ll also mention that Nana’s whole schtick in the show is that she created a timeloop not because she wanted to change the past but because the past was perfect to her and she wanted to relive it over and over again. Here she has basically projected her whole fixation on the past onto Junna.

(Also side note: im surprised Futukao - unhealthily codependent childhood friends and stars of the other 10 minute long theatrical gay divorce - did not make it into this poll lmao)
