exhausting and weird to have people frame putting your age in your bio as “harm reduction”
some of you have never been substance users and it shows
#so fucking sick of pretending that it does anything at all#like i’m happy to participate in this weird cultural ritual we all have decided on#but you have to know on some levels that people can and will just *lie* on the internet if they’re assholes#just because many of us are operating on#good faith doesn’t mean everyone is#also: harm reduction is about self-harm first and foremost#and i cannot stress enough that it *is* stigmatizing to addicts to frame it as this broader thing#like fully fuck you if you’re making ‘harm reduction’ about trivial shit you do online#there are absolutely things that communities can do that reduce harm#but also it’s fucking bizarre to see a blog that posts stuff *romanticizing substance use/ abuse* say putting age in bio is harm reduction#hey if you’re into harm reduction: don’t fucking post about drugs like that???#at least don’t do it untagged#absolutely WILD behaviour#anyways yeah like intox kink goes brrr or whatever but some of us are trying to stay sober#so just fucking tag your shit
