do I know too much about the Revolutionary War because of Hamilton? 

no, I know too much about the Revolutionary War because for some reason in middle school I got two years of US History instead of one year of US History and one year of World History and my teacher (same teacher both years) had absolutely no sense of timing and spent the whole year covering pre-colonial North America, the French and Indian War, the Revolutionary War, and maybe the War of 1812. We never made it to the Civil War even though as previously stated she had two years with the same kids to cover US history. She just started over again the next year. 

I know teaching is a hard job but like. Why’d she do that? Why am I stuck with this generally un-useful knowledge?
