also also with fe engage i really love the battle animations. tbh the games ive played (3ds and switch fire emblem) have nice battle animations, but in engage they feel especially nice with more dynamic dodges and attack animations

#idk how else to put this. i really love the way combat looks in this game it looks more natural and fluid #also the magic looks rlly nice and just. the animations look so neat that its like #etie is kind a shit unit but prompting her to sniper makes it more fun to use her bc the sniper animations are really good #anyways now every time i think abt making some bitter post abt somthing from totk i hate #ill instead make a post abt something i like from a game i actually had a good time with #tbh the camera sometimes works against rhe battle animations and the lack of the usual critical cut-ins make it a liiittle hard to notice #a crit esp from generic enemies. ive just. not noticed an enemy crit was happening until it was too late and they oneshot alfred or smth #i just rlly like the crit cut ins theyre flash and cool. anyways engage’s combat animations are tasty #salty talks
