Soo, idk if ur still doing Harry Hook requests, but could you possibly do Harry Hook x reader who is the daughter of the cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland? And if you do, I would like it to be Head cannons pls!! :)
Your Cheshire Cat grin
Such a good request! I hope you enjoy what I wrote <3 sorry it took so long and that it’s not as long as it could be!!
Warnings: none
Not proofread
You and Harry as a pair were a dangerous combination. You constantly got into trouble together and would be asked where your other half was if you were seen without the other.
-Your relationship started from being friends and blossomed into a relationship. However your friendship consisted of a lot of flirting and people often mistook you for a couple any way.
-You match each others freak. There’s nothing more to say than that.
-You of course inherited your fathers smile and Harry loved it. He thought it was the right mix of cheeky and cute. He always made you laugh just to see your Cheshire Cat grin.
-Due to your father you also loved playing tricks on people and you often roped Harry in to help you. He would go along with anything you said though he was too lovestruck to care.
-You could disappear and reappear at will and used this to your advantage to confuse people. But you also were a bit lazy and skipped the walk from each class. Harry however would still insist to carry your bag like the gentleman he is.
-You had grown up in wonderland so of course you were slightly crazy but nothing you did ever fazed Harry even if other people were.
-Harry would love to visit wonderland with you and find out more about your childhood. He understood what is was like to grow up somewhere completely different to Auradon and the isle. He knew what it felt like when you were homesick and missed the comforts only your world offered. He would help out in anyway he could, trying to recreate certain foods or teas you had there, he just wanted to see you happy again.
-Harry would happily listen to any stories you had of wonderland and would grow to love the place almost as much as you.
-if you inherited powers to turn into a cat you would live to wonder around in this form. You would always catch Harry off guard and sometimes manage to scare him. Would love to play games of hide and seek Harry doesn’t know he’s part of.
-He would find you sunbathing on a window sill, completely unbothered by how worried he looked by him thinking you had gone missing.
-Would always be willing to protect you and put himself in danger for you.
-You would be classes as the oddball of Auradon (think the Luna lovegood of the school) yet he never took notice of the weird glances you got.
-You always seemed to be off in your dreamworld and he was fascinated by what was going on in your head
-You would happily visit neverland with him and got on with tinker bell very well, she might even lend you some pixie dust which Harry was quite jealous of.
-His friends were a bit confused by his interest in you at first but after spending more time with you saw how interesting you were as a person. You were conniving yet kind and it drew them to you. Harry was pleased that the people he cared about liked you, not nearly as much as he liked you though.
-Would always attend any tea party’s thrown in wonderland and would think they were the best party he had ever been to (though he hadn’t been to many in the first place)
-Found your style of purple clothing very attractive even if others didn’t. Loved how you were never scared to express yourself.
-Would never judge your whimsical behaviour in anyway and would always protect you from the weird glances thrown at you. He would love every part of you and nothing would ever change that.
Thank you for reading 🫶

voyeurant | kenma kozume x f!reader
he tentatively wrapped a palm around the shaft, shuddering at the contact, his eyelids fluttering shut. god, i’m such a pervert, thinking about her like this. she’d hate me if she knew i saw her like that, knew that i was touching myself thinking about her tits...
warnings: 18+, timeskip!kenma, kinda dubcon, kenma’s unintentionally pervy, male masturbation, poorly written video game content (i tried my best), mutual pining but u both are oblivious
w/c: 1.5k
a/n: yes, the title is a shitty pun of valorant. no, i will not be changing it. also this tiktok about timeskip kenma made me giggle so pls enjoy.
voyeurant: part one ↓ | part two | part three:
“fuck, i hate this map,” kenma grumbled into his headset.
your voiced chimed in his ears. “is it ascent?” you turned to see his face on your screen, pinched in annoyance. “ha, it is ascent. sucks for you.”
“which one are you on? haven?”
“you know it,” you chuckled. “your favorite.”
“i hate you.” he weighed his options, did he really want to play this game? the layout of the world made it irritatingly hard to strategize, and today’s losing streak was making him more agitated than usual. with a sign, he closed the application. “fuck this. i’m gonna go piss.”
“yeah, yeah, you’re such a big baby. and...” you released your mouse, throwing your hands up in triumph, “we just won. at this point, i’m gonna outrank you.” you were joking, of course. kenma wasn’t just a gamer, he was kodzuken, one of japan’s best pro-gamers, and you were just someone that played as a hobby. but it was always fun to tease.
“hmm,” he hummed. “i’m sure you will.” he turned his head to look directly at his webcam, smirking, “in your dreams.”
“ooh, catboy’s getting feisty!” he flinched at the nickname. “go pee so i can beat you at your best.”
he obliged, pulling his headphones off and looping them on the top of his chair. he casually raised his middle finger at you while smoothing out strands of his hair, prompting a series of profanities to escape your mouth, none of which he could hear. he chuckled playfully as you responded with two middle fingers of your own, before moving out of the camera to get to the bathroom.
you and kenma had met in an... interesting way, to say the least. after going moderately viral from lashing out at him for refusing to heal you in a game of overwatch—while he was streaming—the two of you reconciled over a twitter thread and exchanged gamer tags. since then, you’d struck up an easygoing friendship, characterized by almost nightly discord calls and occasional flirting. but we’re just friends, you often reminded yourself. and you were fine, well, mostly fine, with that.
tonight was like any other night: both you and him spending hours in a video chat with nothing better to do than mindlessly play games and bash each other. it was more than enough to strengthen your relationship but fell short of giving you the romantic tension you craved.
with kenma off in the bathroom, you, already bored, spun wildly in your chair. forgetting that your earbuds were still plugged in, the white wire caught on an opened can of coke sitting on your desk, spilling the sugary drink all over your keyboard and the front of your shirt.
“shit!” you quickly scrambled for paper towels, but the still-connected wire yanked you backwards. in your haste for something to wipe the soda with, the fact that your camera remained on in the video call completely slipped your mind. making the split-second decision that the trip for a towel wasn’t worth it at this point, you quickly whipped off your shirt, dabbing the keys with the part that was still dry. since you were home, you’d gone braless, and your current predicament had you flashing your webcam.
now, kenma had seen a lot of things from your side of the call: he’d seen you get chewed out by your residential advisor for being too loud, you with two sticks of pocky poking out of your mouth like walrus tusks, and you doing random cosplay moves you’d seen on tiktok. what he wasn’t expecting to see, not even in his wildest dreams, was a screenful of your tits, slightly damp from the cola that had seeped through the fabric of your long-gone shirt.
he stopped in his tracks, still out of the frame of his camera, eyes wide and heart racing, desperately trying to calm down and prevent the gradual hardening of his cock in his pants. unable to deny his desires, he continued staring at your plump breasts on his computer, you completely unaware that he could see you.
you quickly threw your soaked top in the laundry basket before throwing on a random sweatshirt and trying to calm your frazzled nerves. you tentatively touched your keyboard, groaning internally when you fingers lightly stuck to the buttons. it’s gonna take forever to clean this, you mourned.
“hey,” kenma mumbled, reappearing on screen and shaking you out of your thoughts.
“hey.” you noticed his flushed expression. “are you okay? you look really red.”
“uh, yeah. i actually uh, i feel kinda sick. so i’m gonna, gonna go.”
“oh, okay.” why’s he acting so weird? “feel better!” you disconnected from the call with a huff, disappointment morphing your face into a pout. well, you thought, better get to cleaning.
kenma, on the other hand, was still, swallowing as the bulge in his boxers became agonizingly hard. though the only thing left on his screen was his reflection staring back at him, the luscious view of your bust was etched in his mind. his hands moved to free his cock, the tip an angry red and smearing pre-cum over the waistband of his underwear.
he tentatively wrapped a palm around the shaft, shuddering at the contact, his eyelids fluttering shut. god, i’m such a pervert, thinking about her like this. she’d hate me if she knew i saw her like that, knew that i was touching myself thinking about her tits...
“fuck,” he whined, slowly stroking up and down. his thighs trembled as he fell back into his chair, mind wandering. he couldn’t stop himself, his thoughts become more and more lewd, fantasizing about how your breasts would bounce as he thrusted into you, how your thighs would wrap warmly around your head as he ate you out, how you’d cry out his name so prettily when he made you squirt around his fingers.
it was all too much, and as the circle he made with his fingers tightened as he reached his tip, he lurched forward, alarmed at how good everything felt just by thinking about you. i can’t cum, i can’t, the small part of his brain that wasn’t completely overtaken with pleasure tried to reason with him. there’s no going back if i—shit—if i cum. she’ll know, somehow, if i—if i cum, i—
the ecstasy kept clouding his judgement and his body worked against his mind as his hand pumped faster and faster while his conscience screamed to stop. his wrist wetly slapped the base of his cock, the sounds of both his hands and his moans getting too loud for comfort, but all he could think about was you. your eyes, your mouth, your chest, your legs, your ass, your pussy. god, he wanted to be in you so badly.
he couldn’t hold back, his insatiable need to cum overriding his senses, and the translucent liquid twitched out of his throbbing cock in spurts, drenching his fist and his balls. “fuck, fuck, fuck. i’m—fuck.”
he collapsed against the back of his chair, chest heaving with the sheer intensity of his orgasm. he combed a hand through his hair, the consequences of his actions now weighing heavily on his shoulders. i’m never gonna be able to look at her in the eyes again, he lamented. how am i ever gonna—damn it.
the sudden ping of a notification had his eyes raising from the mess on his pants towards his computer screen.
meanwhile, you were messaging kenma, a little off-put by his sudden radio silence but chalking it all up to his mysterious sickness.
[11:05 PM] you: hey ken! hope u feel better
[11:05 PM] you: if u get the chance u should check out what i added to our minecraft house. its perfect for sick victorian orphans like u
[12:14 PM] you: guess

[12:05 PM] you: why arent u responding
[12:05 PM] you: guess
[12:05 PM] you: ok u got me ill tell u
[12:05 PM] you: its a hot tub
[12:05 PM] you: but with soup
[12:05 PM] you: but the soup is lava
[12:05 PM] you: genius right
[12:06 PM] you: anyway get some sleep and feel better <3
[12:06 PM] you: lmk if u wanna play animal crossing

[12:06 PM] you: no animal crossing for u!
[12:06 PM] you: sleep well so i can destroy ur ass in val tmrw
[12:06 PM] you: >:)
he sighed as he read your one-sided ramblings. he really liked you.
and he really wanted to fuck you. lucky for you, you wanted the exact same thing.
if only kenma knew what you did on the other side of the screen, hands in your undies and his name on your lips...

— HAIKYUU BOYS WHEN YOU’RE CRUSHING ON AN ANIME CHARACTER
includes - bokuto koutaro, iwaizumi hajime and oikawa tooru
a/n - hi this is just me projecting onto my fav boys AHAKDNS anyways pls enjoy bbys <33 also this is pretty suggestive content so if that makes you uncomfy pls don’t read
find pt.2 here!!
↳ BOKUTO KOUTARO bakugou from bnha
- you guys love cuddling while watching anime but when he noticed your new found love for bakugou he hated it
- poor baby just wants all your attention to be on him and not some 2d character
- he just wants to be the perfect man for you so if you show interest in another man then he wonders what he can change about himself so you will like him more
- yes he’s in desperate need of love, reassurance and validation from you so please give it to him
- the way you would squeal and fangirl every time bakugou showed up on screen just made him more pouty
- starts wearing more black tank tops like bakugou so he can prove to you that he looks way better than him and has bigger muscles too
- he would intentionally try to be more like bakugou so you can squeal over him too
- thinks that you like bad boys so he tries so hard to be mean to you
- but he physically cannot bring himself to ever be rude to you so he gives you a million hugs and kisses as an apology for the fact that he even thought about being disrespectful to you
- you were very confused
- one day you were sitting in the couch for such a long time watching bnha but no matter what bokuto did to get your attention, you wouldn’t give it to him
- so desperate times call for desperate measures
- he got up from your lap where he was laying and went to his room
- when he walked out, he was only wearing boxers hoping you would notice and fawn over him like you usually do
- but you don’t
“BABYBABYBABY LOOK AT ME PLS. LOVE ME”
- it isn’t until he walks in front of you, with a large dick print evident in his boxers that you realise that youve been neglecting your poor boyfriend
“what’s wrong pretty boy?”
“want your attention but you seem pretty busy with your new boyfriend bakugou. now come come come”
“go where baby?”
“to the bedroom. gonna make you forget about your little puppy crush okay princess?”
- mhm mhm yk what happens um anyways next person
↳ IWAIZUMI HAJIME nanami from jjk
- home boy was pissed
- he honestly thinks nanami looks ugly and old af
- but we don’t accept nanami slander in this house
- the way you defended nanami made him even more pissed off
things that he says every time you mention nanami:
“but he doesn’t even exist”
“he could never love you the way i do”
“he looks like he could be your dad”
“mr. skinny penis”
“you know you’re mine right?”
“i could probably bet him in a fight”
- no baby you couldn’t but ur cute for trying
- yes iwa is definitely slightly possessive of you but he never lets it go too far
- so when you start swooning over a man that does not exist?? good luck baby you’re gonna need it
- is secretly insecure bc like how much of a shitty boyfriend does he have to be for you to like a fictional character
- but you assure him that it’s not like that and that it’s merely physical attraction
- ??? mf does not believe you bc nanami is ur wallpaper of your phone and laptop and have a poster of him on your wall
- he has caught you fangirling over nanami one too many times and he’s sick of it
“okay doll, i see how it is, you wanna play that game huh? don’t forget who’s the one who can actually make you feel good okay sweetheart? now follow me before you regret it”
- you didn’t regret a single thing that happened that night <3
↳ OIKAWA TOORU mirio from bnha
- pls i love mirio so much ugh ksnskxdn anyways
- such a pouty baby
- will literally try to turn off the tv whenever he’s on the screen
- will also try to makeout with you whenever he’s on screen so he knows your attention is on him
- lets be honestly oikawa is the biggest attention whore when it’s comes to his s/o
- your little crush on mirio is bringing out both his inferiority and superiority complex’s out
- so do everyone a favour a boost his ego a little bit before he punches another child in the face (was that uncalled for?)
oikawas brain:
“pfft he’s literally just a bunch of pixels, he couldn’t compete with me”
“she probably only likes him for his muscles”
“would they love me more if i had muscles like him”
“it’s doesn’t matter, he couldn’t hug and kiss them like i do”
“fuck mirio, who does he think he is, tryna steal my s/o”
“god i wanna punch his face”
- and when he realised that mirio is your wallpaper, good luck girly
“my love, what’s this?”
“oh it’s mirio yk fro-“
“ i know who he is but why is he your wallpaper”
“it looked nice”
“don’t you think that i look nice”
“yes tooru i think that you’re incredibly handsome”
“so why is he-“
“listen, can we talk about this later, i’m busy right now”
“ah ah ah my dear. if you think you’re gonna get away with making me jealous, you are highly mistaken princess. after all, he isn’t the one fucking you to sleep every night is he? that’s what i thought. now come with me”
- yikes yeah good like surviving that one
- it’s your fault for getting such a horny and petty bf

There was the silence and there were the stars | Corpse husband x reader -Among Us AU
Among us AU : There was something. Something in the silence and the harsh coldness -that only space was capable of- that turned your brain into a sarcastic and bored mess. Maybe that’s why you found yourself so interested by any sabotage pulled on the crewmates, maybe that’s what made him so interesting to witness. He was different from the rest of you. Different to an extend you were about to understand.
❚ Word count : 4.2k ❚ Warning : A bit angsty but you will get that fluffity fluff and touch starve feeling you require I promise ; swearing ❚ Note : there will be no mention of death or killing as it is basically a real life Among us, just some shenanigans. Y/C : your/color
A/N : This little thing was inspired by -⭐️ anon. It was a fun thing to write even though it took me way too long because I asked my brain “sir may I pls have the focus capacity I need” and brain said no (: so yeah, this is litteraly just me ranting n complaining about space. This is a bit angsty but as what if is way too happy for me that was a nice opportunity. I hope you won’t mind and appreciate it anyway. As always just let me know. As it’s my first time writing like a one shot thingy I’m really curious to know. Also it’s supposed to be proofread but if you find any mistake just take ur glasses off. Thanks. Enjoy the wild ride.
You met him again. He was fixing wires while you were downloading some files on the computer. Difficulties happened regularly around here; various oddities that occurred from time to time, sometimes a few times a day. It would go from doors closing mysteriously to no electricity, you never knew which one it would be. Those inconveniences used to draw a smile on your lips, a grin you tried your best to hide from everyone else. The sound of the urging siren resounded in your head like a call, reviving the last spared spark left in your brain. At this point, you were pretty sure it was one of your crewmates’ doing, too many coincidences for any other options to be left. You didn’t mind though. The game started months ago but still amused you to this day.
He never let a word escape his mouth. To your awareness, no one knew anything about him, no one had ever heard the sound of his voice which you could only dare to imagine since the two of you met. It felt silly, you fabricated this voice inside your head, a half-finished melody you played to keep your mind busy. It would have sounded just as an old piano would. So slightly out of tune that maybe, if you didn’t care enough or wished for it not to be true, you wouldn’t even notice.
You called him black. It resonated with the color of his suit and the darkness that emanated from his soul. Not that he looked like a mischievous character, but rather like someone who would have been gnawed by life for years. A shade that reminded you of the bittersweet feeling 4 AM forced you to taste. Describing that presentiment was a challenge you couldn’t take. It was one of those things that had to be felt, not narrated.
Shit.
He caught you staring again. How could you look any other way? There was something with him that appealed to you, that pulled your eyes toward his direction every time. Probably only a peak of unwarranted curiosity you couldn’t really be blamed for, probably the oh-so mysterious aura that floated so carelessly around him. He always had this way of sneaking in and out, just as if he was nothing but his own shadow.
Yet, being near him was easy. Silence only felt comfortable when he was in your surroundings. The whole world stopped existing -and it had in fact since the first day you two met.
He had dark charcoal hair which fell so perfectly in curly strands around the two horns that crowned over his head. Paired with two ruby hued eyes, he truly was a sight for sore eyes. A wicked and breathtaking beauty, so unique it gave you the impression that he wasn’t even human.
He used to hop in a vent after finishing his tasks. As if his true home was there; a secret hideout for him and him only. You didn’t even know it was a thing before you watched it with your own eyes. Who wouldn’t blame him. If you could have escaped that warmth deprived place too, even for 5 minutes, you would have.
That’s why you never asked any question about it nor tried to investigate further. Being stuck in space was only a kid’s fantasy, nothing a fully conscious adult would inflict to themselves. Which, in itself, was pretty much self-explanatory about everyone’s mental condition in here.
It was also a pre-established rule, no questions. No one ever expressed it out loud, but you would have to be a fool not to guess it. Every crewmate grew accustomed to the deadly silence only space had to offer. A giant timeless hole where nothing really happened. With nothing but the smell of technology and the constant purr of engines as the only distractions left. See, living in a spaceship was no ordinary lifestyle : days and nights melted into each other until it became nothing but a groundless concept. The crewmates perceived it as comforting for some reason. You used to shrug it off, no questions. How unethical would you be to disturb their peace?
If you had to be honest, you would probably say that you felt bad for Black. Nothing like pity, but being alone in this stark and brutal silence for this long must have been pretty life-consuming. That’s why, even though it made your cheeks and the tip of your ears flame up in a raw and unforgivable tint of pink, you always kept looking into his eyes for one more second after he noticed you. Just to be sure he knew that he wasn’t alone in this shit hole. You stared into the depth of those ruby eyes, hunting for silent answers to questions you weren’t even sure of in the first place. He never quivered, only stood motionless until his task was completed. Just locking the eye contact. After that, he always ran away as silently as he existed. Leaving your head disturbingly empty.
Every single time.
Something changed one day. You were about to prepare some test samples when it happened. He jumped off a vent and you followed his movements from the corner of your eyes, too distracted to remember about the task that was assigned to you. He ran to the door and proceeded to shut it. Within the last second, the one that always lasted hours, he put an index in front of his mouth. Silently asking for you not to say a word. And before the steel door could obstruct your vision completely, you noticed a smile on his lips. A smile that made the whole spaceship turn inside out, draining the blood out of your body in a painstaking, almost sore way. There you stood, intoxicated by stupefaction and trapped as a cat.
Black mutated you into a self-depreciating joke : in here, you were only interestied in the impostor. The only one who made your day a little better was the one giving nightmares to the others.
It was him, from the beginning. It was him and he smiled. A grin that twinkled maliciously from his lips to his eyes, wounding your heart in an insoluble way. It made every prejudice you had about him crumble : he was no longer that miserable existence you sensed he was but a quiescent sun that could radiate all around him once unleashed into the world. How did he do that? How could he be both the tunnel and the light at the end of it?
When red came to the rescue, she described you with a glare. She judged you in the not-so-pleasant way. You could always count on those glares to know their opinions about you. Because their judgment would have to be expressed one way or another. She thought you looked suspicious, with your half poured concoction into a hand and the rest of it in the other, just staring blankly into the void. You wouldn’t blame her for that.
It stuck with you for days, filling your empty mind with the sight of a smile that could no longer be experienced. The scene shamelessly repeated itself in your mind until it became nothing but a progression of disassembled images, forcing you to taste the astonishment over and over again. The problem was, you hadn’t seen him for days. And, even though you wanted to know what happened, you couldn’t ask. That was the rule.
What would you say anyway ? Black is the imposter and I watched him close medbay’s door ? Yeah, I don’t think so. You should have stopped him in the first place -and you would have if you weren’t just mesmerized.
So, you took each day -or night … or piece of time, whatever you wanted to call it since it was no longer existent- with composure. Forcing yourself to do any task with a meticulousness that didn’t look like you. Just to make sure your brain was busy enough not to think about it or him. Being trapped in a place and being trapped in your own mind are two different wrestles, yet in here those two intertwined perfectly. Just like the rest of it, it didn’t even make any sense : the guy smiled at you for ten seconds and here you were, an absolute clutter of questions and recollection. You were probably just too bored and he, as always, was the perfect distraction. That must have been it, right?
You walked in admin. Your heart skipped a beat before your eyes could process who stood in front of them.
Look what the cat dragged in.
His hair twirled flawlessly above his face, almost hiding a grimace that indicated so transparently his mind. You leaned against the door frame and crossed your arms, unabashedly watching him as he swiped his card frantically while sighting heavily every time that “bip” of failure rang.
Eventually, he looked at you with an expression you couldn’t quite read. You tried anyway, staring at him as if he was some sort of work of art that needed to be decrypted. From the way his chest moved heavily under the pressure of the irritation to the way his glowing eyes witnessed you. This expression on his face gave him a funny look, a scowl which made the laugh that tickled your throat hard to hold back.
“Y-you have to do it slower. Otherwise, it won’t work” you stuttered. “I guess it’s harder since …”
You walked to him carefully, so carefully you forgot your words. Just as if he was a wild animal who could run away if scared. Making sure no step would fall out of line. He was so close, so close, maybe if you tried to catch him this time he would stop running away.
“Since it’s not my job, right ? Is that what you were about to say ?” he asked with a low voice, a voice you would have never dared to picture for him. Not the broken tone you pictured but a melody so sweet and so unique it felt like it was made just for your ears to enjoy, taunting you to dive into his mind.
“Do you need help” ?
“I- hum- You’re not supposed to help me, you know ?” he stuttered, visibly amused, judging by the way his eyes wrinkled under his smile.
“Are you gonna lock me in the room once again ?” He shook his head as a chuckle escaped from his lips. “Then who cares” you finally breathed.
Your fingers brushed against his warm skin as you grabbed the card. You tried to appear unbothered, hoping so intensely for the swipe to be a first try success. That way, maybe he wouldn’t notice the way you breathed heavily under the weight of your pounding heart. But those red eyes piercing through the depth of your soul were hardly bearable for those like you who suffered from unbeknownst afflictions.
You grew aware of his every move, the way those eyes fell on you, the perfume that emanated from his skin, the sound of his slow yet noticeable respiration.
You gave him his card back and he captured your fingers in the palm of his hand, making it impossible for you to escape his grip. Hiding those blushing cheeks from a sight that seemed to see everything was a defiance only the proudest people would be capable of. It wasn’t your case, but you counted on preserving the last sane cells left in your body.
“Your secret is safe with me.” You whispered, avoiding any eye contact.
“I know that.”
A simple answer that would never be enough to satisfy you. Yet, before you could review the best option of an answer, he left. Just as he always did, he walked away silently -still this time it seemed to last an eternity- while you just stood there inertly as you watched his black silhouette disappear into the endless gray hallways.
You finally caught the breath you had been holding this whole time. Leaning over, you observed your reflection into the screen of the digital tablet as you rubbed your hands together, hoping for that strange spike of electricity that ran through your fingers to fade away quickly. A mess.
“There you are, Corpse” green said as he sat cross-legged in black’s secret place “I’ve been looking for you.”
Corpse was the name green chose for Black, feeling like it would be the most suitable image for the one who always worked in the shadow. Not the most refined nickname, yet black ironically related to that. Silent as a Corpse, he thought. A level of sarcasm that amused him and which probably led to him immediately falling in love with it.
Corpse observed the little sprout on the top of Green’s head. It floated lightly and followed his every move. What a little freak. Just a thing deprived of any sort of self consciousness, out of this world just like he felt he was. Corpse remained fixated on it, hoping he could get as self-aware as it was. The last impromptu reunion he had with you was nothing he had planned, nothing that should have happened. He wouldn’t exactly call it a mistake and still, he had no one else but him to blame.
“Did something happened with y/c ? You seem a little flustered.” Green asked, pulling Corpse out of his overflowed mind.
“I don’t know, I think I kinda fucked up.” He replied with a shrug. “I’ve been spotted.”
“Was it really a mistake ?”
Green was the only one who was granted with the privilege of learning how to understand Corpse. Because, deep inside, they grew up to be the same kind : the kind that didn’t belong here. Two sides of the same coin.
Green’s social intelligence, on the other hand, Black didn’t like it that much. Thanks to that guy, he would be able to work comfortably in the darkness, where no one could see him, but it also meant that he saw clearly what was going through Corpse’s mind. Actually, it didn’t take him too long.
What was the surprise when he realized it was you who lived rent-free in his thoughts? See, in Corpse’s eyes you were different from the others : too conscious about the reality that happened before yours eyes. It made you interesting to observe. What a delightful sight it was to watch you rolling your eyes in your crewmates’ face, to notice the serious look you had when you were focused on a task, the way your eyes sparkled every time a new sabotage was made. He wouldn’t track you, yet he would never resist a peek once your paths crossed. It happened often, more than you actually realized.
Yet, Corpse was no fool. You and him never belonged together. You were destined to a bright destiny and he was the obscurity. That’s why he was more than careful not to get too close, not to see his bare mind get burnt under the exposition of those peculiar feelings in the pit of his stomach.
That’s why his previous reaction made no sense to him. But what could he say? You took him aback when those words were directed at him. You made his short-circuited brain unable to be sensible anymore. He just wanted to know what your touch would feel like under his fingers. Why was his skin blazing with electricity now ?
Corpse swallowed it all. From the blossoming feeling inside his body and mind to the warmth and the softness of your skin. He couldn’t feel that way. “I’m not really sure.” he finally said, as honest as he could be with himself.
He would spend his next few days planning with Green, cornering you to a small part of his brain. You couldn’t be there, you had no right to be. The game was progressing faster than they anticipated it. It made him thrilled, accepting the challenge no one but the two of them could bear.
However, a new unwanted seed grew into his mind. The idea that, maybe, you were only by his side in this game. That, maybe he would never be able to witness your existence in the real world.
“Have you ever noticed how weird the stars look sometimes ?” Corpse asked as he joined navigation. You jumped and your mind turned into a scattered place stuck between a task you battled to achieve and the proximity left between the two of you. Your heart beat in rhythm with his echoing, never ending footsteps. Still you had, indeed, noticed. “It’s like they’re not even real” you answered with a smile that made your voice higher. A melodic lift that betrayed your intention of ever finishing your job.
When you finally looked at him, his lips moved into a satisfied curve. Shivers tickled your arms and your neck. Maybe because he was just standing so perfectly still in front of the glass window. So perfectly still that, among all those celestial bodies, he appeared to be the most beautiful one. “Mind keeping me company for a bit?” Your mouth betrayed you when the question escaped your grip. But Corpse snorted faintly and shook his head.
“From all the people in here you want to spend time with me ? That’s probably not your wisest decision.” He said as he tried to muffle a high pitch laugh with a hand that covered his mouth.
See, that’s the words he had been afraid of since the first time he saw you. The words he would have to turn into derision since he knew he would have no strength to refuse. Yet, you stood there with those glimmering eyes and those eyebrows that arched in a strange manner, cutting every single inch of air out of his lungs. Even if he wanted to say no -and he should- he wouldn’t have been able to.
It was never meant to happen, not judging by your two so hostily opposed nature. Fuck that shit. Who cared about that speech when you were here and you were so beautiful?
You moved closer to him, a strenuous and slow tense that shouldn’t be disregarded. You’ve had seen the same scenery for months yet never it made you feel the same way as you did at that very moment. Because those balls of lights floating into the void shimmered in his ruby hued iris just as a dozen of fireflies would. He made your world a little blurry, narrowed to his presence at your side.
“You forgave me really easily the last time we met.” He noticed. “That’s a little sus if you asked me.”
“Well, what can I say ? You’re the only distraction I have left, so I’m not really in the position to hold grudges.” You shrugged sarcastically.
“You’re really funny, I have to concede that” he said as his smile made its way to his eyes.
Your brutally honest words intertwined with his chuckles and crewmates never heard the spaceship as lively as that time. That time when you got to discover who Corpse really was. A man who hid his blooming existence behind a silence.
“Why did you stay silent this whole time ?” You dared to ask before the silence fell upon the two of you, a silence that maybe you wouldn’t be able to endure this time.
“Because I never wanted to lie”
“I- ...hum- there’s really nothing I could say against that, right ?”
With every grin, every chuckle, every abrupt eye contact, your proximity kept embedding his mind a little deeper until you stole the stars’ show completely. It’s no good, you held his breath hostage when he realized he could feel the warmth stemming out of your skin. So tempted to get closer and witness it with further clearness.
Thus, he lifted a hand that starved connection. He tried to close the gap between your two touches so prudently, so discreetly that you didn’t even notice. A touch, that would go beyond his movement, more like a proof he needed to make sure someone like you really existed in a shithole like this.
He was so close.
Yet, the alarm rang before he could embrace the object of his desire. “Better check that out quickly” you said with a sigh. Somehow, it felt peculiar just knowing that, this time, you were the one running away. A sense of some sort of joke played by space. As if space hadn’t done enough. When Green cut the communication, he couldn’t realize -If only he knew the double meaning of that sabotage. Ah, the irony of it all.
“I’ll see you soon” Corpse informed you, more of a promise than a farewell and he stayed there long enough, staring numbly at his hand.
You ran until the communication room, holding this bittersweet feeling on the tip of your tongue. You tried to swallow it and almost found yourself praying that no one would arrive before you could. This way, maybe your fugue would make more sense.
Blue was already sitting on the floor, trying to find the good frequencies. “I’m already on it.” she said on a plain, monotone voice. Of course, she fucking would be.
Now what was left to do ? Corpse was probably already gone and-and the silence … the silence had returned. A dead, cold, cruel silence. It tested out your nerves, built up some pressure down your throat that made keeping your composure barely possible. Corpse slipped between your fingers again. The game was no longer a funny and pleasant diversion from the plain, austere daily life you had. You grew tired of that cat and mouse game. You just wanted him.
After going back to the oh-so empty navigation room, you completed your tasks. And you were finally done. You wandered around for hours, days -who knows-, searching for a purpose.
The game was coming to an end, you could feel it. Something in the air changed, it became dryer than ever. Unbearable on your skin that ached for something you couldn’t apprehend. The crewmates were agitated, everyone kept running around day and night just to make sure the last tasks would be completed as soon as possible. New difficulties were triggered almost as soon as the last ones ended. Chaos.
Just as if he wasn’t ready to end the game so soon, as if he didn’t want to get the hell out of this place as much as you did. From time to time, you almost found yourself eager to ignore the alarm. Taunting him one last time by neglecting his call.
Maybe that way he would show up, maybe that way he would stay with you. Yeah, maybe that way he would stop being nothing but an ephemeral being that almost made you wonder if you finally gave up on your mind to the silence. Because at that moment he only felt like a chimera your brain created to protect you. Because you were just so fucking bored.
You gave up on that idea, turning on the CCTV as you sighed. Just to see more colorful suits running around, trying to hold their shit together for what appeared to be the ultimate hour. Despite all the sabotages, it seemed like your number made your strength. You imagined Corpse’s face, probably piqued. A dark frown covering his pretty eyes. It made your lips twitch for a second. Who knew it would end this way ? Definitely not you.
Yet that amused smile faded away when you heard the familiar sound of the door closing, locking you in yet another time. You rolled your eyes and turned around, unprepared to witness who locked themselves with you. His body laid against the door, guarding it as his chest moved frenetically under the weight of his rushing breath.
“This is the end” he whispered frantically under his breath. He doesn’t look as worried as you thought he would, but it didn’t matter. You moved impulsively toward him, never stopping until he snaked a hand around your waist and slipped the other one in your back. That way, this time, there were no escape.
He let his head rest in the hollow of your neck, soaking the divine and comforting warmth you had to offer. His warm breath on your skin sent shivers through your body which responded by squeezing him a little tighter, holding him as close to your heart as humanly possible. You could feel his, beating so fast.
“This is the end.” His whisper grounded on your skin.
He lifted his head to dive into your eyes with the same sweet smile you offered him. The one which expressed the happiness, the relievment it felt to embrace him.
“If it were for you, I would do it all over again.” You said, pressing your forehead against his, sharing a breath as you closed your eyes. One last attempt to memorize everything about him. You sensed his smile, so wide you didn’t even have to look at it to see. He left a trail of kisses on your cheeks and your hand wandered in his hair as a faint gasp escaped your lips.
Corpse looked back at you. And then, as his thumb drew light circles on your cheek. With glowing eyes that translated all the adoration he felt for you, he whispered “Maybe it was just meant to be”. And then, he closed the distance between the two of you, brushing your lips softly at first before capturing them completely once he was sure you felt the same way as he did. A kiss that tasted like 4AM and home.
“I’ll find my way back to you, my love. I’ll find you in the real world.” He promised.

We are getting up to some hopefully good nonsense up in here~! Let’s see if I can’t cook up something tasty for ya! Also this was one of those prompts that really got away from me and kinda... rambled away from the main point of the request and dissolved into a bit of a character study with added notes of fun shipping goodness so please forgive the length! And obviously if this is unsatisfactory please feel free to scream at me for my sins.
Trigger Warning: Transphobia, Mentions/ References to Body Dysphoria
She wasn’t Nashi.
Momo had to remind her of that fact every now and again, when the doubts about her appearance started to leak in. Did she present well enough? Did her hobbies speak loudly enough of the truth of her femininity or did people think she was faking? If she decided to go with a bob cut like Ochako’s, or a cute pixie like Mina's, would it make her features stand out wrong? Would she be fine wearing shorts, or would it be safer to pick a skirt or dress? It wasn't as often as it used to be that the anxiety about her appearance reared up - especially since she had been eagerly accepted by her peers when she confessed that she'd been deemed male at birth - but there were still moments where it did.
Like that evening, in specific.
While Father and Mother still worked in Pro Heroics, their roles had shifted quite drastically over the years. Momo herself had only been eight years old when Father was gravely injured in a Villain fight, taking a serious blow to protect a fleeing civilian. There had been countless surgeries and treatments to follow, leaving Father unable to move as well as he used to. He retired as an active on-duty Pro and became more involved with the agency behind the scenes. He worked more with the finances, employee relations and things of that ilk while Mother took over control as the public face. For a while, things were fine like that. It was a nice balance between them and, even though it was clear Father missed interacting with the public, he settled into his position quite well.
But as Momo's second year at UA started its second half, Father's health started deteriorating quickly. His immune system had been compromised as a result of all his past procedures and the side effects of that started to hit fast and hard. Momo herself had missed three days of classes to rush to see him when his cold escalated enough to warrant a hospital stay. While there, Mother and Father had discussed an upcoming business mixer. It would allow for them to connect with various other agencies to locate team-up partners as well as connecting to a few new support development teams. Mother had seemed rather concerned by the idea of going alone given that Father had always been the social core of their team.
And so, despite her discomfort, Momo had volunteered to go along. Mother had seemed surprised but agreed to take up her offer.
The day had been very strange leading up to the event itself. After getting out of her classes that Saturday, Mother picked her up to get put together. The full works were done for her; hair, make-up, manicure and pedicure, all coordinated to match with the long, sapphire blue evening gown Mother had picked out for her. Mother was an odd mix of overly involved and incredibly distant, taking care to ask if the length of her heels were comfortable for her or if the red of her lipstick was too dark for her liking. Once getting a response, though, she’d be heading off to tend to something for her own attire for the night without a second glance.
A part of her said she should have expected as much. It was a hard thing to define, her relationship with her mother. Ever since she came out and asserted who she really was - claimed Momo as her true name - Mother had never misgendered or dead named her. Even in the beginning, when the change in name and pronouns were still new, she’d gone out of her way to speak more carefully, to address her daughter the correct way. Momo took that as a sign that she was accepted, yes, but… Mother had always been incredibly distant. She seemed to only take an interest in Momo when it involved her Quirk training and her accomplishments therein. She often wondered if the problem was more that Mother had never wanted children in the first place and only agreed to having one to placate Father, or to carry on the family name.
It was rather disheartening to think about.
The moment they entered the extravagant ballroom for the mixer, another Pro that Momo couldn’t place was flagging Mother down excitedly. “Yaoyorozu-San, such a delight!” he greeted happily, offering her his hand. His gaze flickered over to Momo, smile remaining in place though his eyes gleamed in confusion. “Ah, and who is this? A niece or cousin of yours or your husband’s?”
“No,” Mother said, quirking an eyebrow as if the answer should be obvious, “this is my daughter, Momo.”
Momo made sure to flash a demure smile as she bowed. “It’s a pleasure to meet you,”
“A daughter? I heard your only child was a son,” Momo could feel herself tense as she righted her posture. Of course, she thought, it would already be starting so quickly into her evening.
“A mistake, I assure you. This is my daughter and I expect you to respect her as such,” There was an odd undercurrent to Mother’s tone that caused Momo to glance at her sideways. She looked thoroughly unamused, judging by the scowl and slight glare she had fixated on him, and her shoulders were squared as a show of confidence. She supposed that Mother got tired of hearing this same statement time and again.
He blinked slowly, nose wrinkling briefly, before nodding curtly. “Of course. My apologies,” he shifted his gaze away from her to Mother quickly, clearly uncomfortable. “Anyway, Yaoyorozu-San, I had been hoping to have a word with you! I have a case on my hands that seems well suited to your skills.”
Mother perked up a bit at that. “Hmm. For now I’ll just take a general overview. I assume you do not have any official documents regarding it on your person currently, yes?”
Momo let out a small breath at the attention being directed away from her. “I’ll be going to get a refreshment, Mother,” she announced, though she doubted that she was heard. She made a beeline for the aforementioned table. It was often at these kinds of get-togethers that there were two separate refreshment areas; one for the younger crowd and another for the adults. She grabbed the ladle in the punch bowl and started to pour some into a decorative plastic cup for herself. There were orange and lemon slivers floating on the surface of the liquid so she prepared herself for the tart bite of citrus on her tongue, a small smile on her lips.
For a second she thought of Shoto, most likely settled in the dorms with his Nintendo Switch, most likely catching bugs or fishing on his new Animal Crossing game. The system and game - according to him - were a bribe from Hawks to keep some secret from Endeavor. Shoto had held up that part of the bargain but, he confessed, had snitched to Natsuo. It had been the most entertaining family meal they’d had in a while after that, he assured, and she giggled to herself as she sipped her drink. He may not seem like it, but Shoto had a mischievous streak in him.
“No way! Is that you, Nashi?” She jumped and whipped around, noticing a group of three boys around her age approaching. She recognized one of them from her first grade school, before she’d started her transition, but it took a moment to place a name to the face.
She plastered on a smile as she turned to face them fully. “It’s Momo, actually. It’s good to see you again, though, Hiroki-Kun,”
Hiroki blinked and tilted his head, confused for a moment, before his eyes widened in epiphany. “Oh, okay, my bad! Momo it is!” he agreed with a grin before indicating the other two with him. “Well, let me introduce you! This guy to my left is Yori, and the one to my right is Manzo! Guys, this is Momo, the one I was telling you about!” His tone dipped slightly as he introduced the second boy with him, as if saying his name had left a bitter taste in his mouth, but quickly perked back up after.
Yori offered a shy smile, staying close to Hiroki, but still offering her his hand. “It’s very nice to meet you, Momo-San. Hiroki-Kun says a lot of great things about you,” he said quietly.
"Does he?" she asked in slight surprise.
Hiroki grinned at her, folding his hands behind his head. "Of course! You were, like, the coolest kid on the playground! Cool Quirk, super nice, really smart… Who wouldn't admire that?"
She looked away bashfully and giggled. "You're too kind, Hiroki-Kun," she mused, turning her attention to Manzo. She held out her hand to shake his hand next. "You're Manzo-Kun, right?"
“And you’re Nashi, yeah?” he quipped, stuffing his hands in the pockets of his slacks.
She flinched and shook her head, still trying to be civil. “No, I’m not. As I just told Hiroki-Kun, my name is Momo,”
“Your name now is Momo, but your real name is Nashi,” he retorted.
Her hand dropped to her side, clenching into a fist at her side as she tried to keep her cool. “Momo is my real name!”
“No,” Manzo laughed, taking a step towards her that caused her to take a step back, “Momo is the name you use to play dress up.”
Hiroki stepped forward, shoving an arm against Manzo’s chest and nudging him back that step. “Dude, don’t be a disrespectful ass!”
“She hasn’t said or done anything to offend you. And even if she did, that doesn’t give you the right to act like this,” Yori chimed in as well, a disappointed frown on his face.
Manzo glared before shoving Hiroki’s arm aside and advancing on Yori, who recoiled at his approach. “Oh, what? You think just because you have your stupid little buddy here you’re hot shit?” he barked, moving to shove him.
In a flash, Momo rushed forward and grabbed his arm. “Leave him alone!” she snapped.
Manzo whipped around to face her and wretched his arm free, a nasty grin on his face. “Oh, what, you wanna fight about it? Fine! Let’s fight like men! Since that’s what you really are, Nashi-Kun!” he goaded.
“I’m not a boy and my name isn’t Nashi!” she shouted back, grip on his arm tightening slightly as angry tears started to pool in her eyes. “My name is Yaoyorozu Momo and I’m a girl!”
There was a beat of silence following her words, making her glance up as she realized that all conversation had died around them. Her stomach churned at the realization of the spectacle they’d become. She wasn’t supposed to behave like this! She was supposed to come and be the perfectly sociable young lady her parents had raised her to be. She wasn’t supposed to be getting dragged into situations like this.
“What is the meaning of all of this?” Mother’s curt tone cut in, snapping her from her thoughts. She had to steel herself to look up only to see that furious orange eyes were not fixated on Momo herself, rather, Manzo.
“Yes, son, explain,” another voice chimed in from behind Mother. The man she’d been chatting with when Momo first wandered away approached, looking directly at Manzo with a clearly forced smile on his face.
Manzo opened up his mouth to speak when Hiroki interrupted with “Manzo was being a dick to Momo! He wouldn’t respect her identity or name!”
“I was just stating the truth!” Manzo sneered angrily, finally wrenching his arm free from her grasp.
“Son, you-!”
“Momo, we are leaving. Now,” Mother said, tone clipped and flat.
Manzo’s father looked at her in panic. “Um, uh, Yaoyorozu-San, how about we select a time to discuss that case I mentioned in a more professional setting? One where the adults can talk without the children around?”
Mother glared at him, the look so harsh he shrunk back, before moving to wrap an arm over Momo’s shoulders to lead her out. She said nothing as she allowed Mother to lead her out and to the car, the air between them tense and awkward, barely catching Hiroki trying to call an apology after her and Manzo’s father berating him.
The silence in the back of the limo once they were settled inside was staggering, making Momo wish she could stick her head out the window to scream instead of keeping her gaze fixed on her toes. It was even worse than the air between them on the walk over with the added lack of escape route. She felt like such a failure as she struggled to take in breaths to keep herself composed. She was a top student in the top class at the top Pro Heroics school, for crying out loud! She should be able to handle herself against a bigoted moron! He shouldn't be more terrifying than the ruthless villains she'd faced!
“Momo,” Mother said, her tone so shockingly soft that her head jerked up. Her gaze was fixated on her, as unreadable as ever.
Momo swallowed thickly as she forced herself to square her shoulders. She should apologize for her behavior. She’d caused a scene and surely Mother had been embarrassed by that. “I’m sorry, Mother,” she said, trying to keep her voice steady.
“You don’t have anything to apologize for,” she said, blinking in surprise at her words. There was another pregnant pause as Momo let her gaze wander away again, fixated on a small fuzz ball in the limo carpeting by the heel of her left shoe. “Is that normal? What that little brat was saying and doing. Is that what normally happens to you at these kinds of things?”
She squeezed her eyes shut and nodded timidly, wringing her hands in her lap. “I’m sorry, for blowing up like that. I can normally keep myself more composed than that during im-!”
“Do not apologize to me, Momo; you were not in the wrong,” she insisted, her voice catching in a mix of irritation and… concern? Mother opened her mouth three times before shutting it again and sighing, her shoulders slumping. “So this has happened and you never told us.”
Feeling a lump sprout and block her throat, Momo could only nod in response.
Mother lifted her head to meet Momo’s eye, her expression filled with sadness and regret. “You don’t feel comfortable coming to me with these concerns, do you?”
“It’s not just… I… So many more important things are going on right now. I don’t want to put more on your plate,” she said softly.
“Nothing is more important than you, Momo,” she argued with a shake of her head. She looked away for a moment before taking a breath and reaching out, setting one of her hands on top of Momo’s. “I haven’t always been the best with affection when it comes to you, or, well, really anyone aside from your Father. I suppose that I had always assumed that it was fine to leave those things to him, that one of us would focus on the emotional side of things and the other the more practical. Father was the fun parent you could play games and sing songs with, while I was the parent who made sure you kept your Quirk in check and your grades up. I thought… I thought that would be a good balance, that it would give you everything you needed. I’ve come to understand how wrong that belief was.”
“M-Mother?”
She placed her other hand above her heart, giving Momo’s a small squeeze as she held her gaze. “I’m going to work at being better for you, at giving you what you need from me. I need you to understand that my failings as a mother... None of that was ever your fault. I’m sorry that my actions made it seem like my love is something you have to work to earn. I love you, Momo, and I’m sorry I’ve presented that fact as being conditional and not eternal,”
She could feel more tears starting to pool in her eyes before she surged forward to embrace Mother. She was tense for a second before she embraced her back, one hand gently combing through her hair soothingly. The rest of the ride back to campus was spent like that, with her face burrowed into Mother’s arms as she cried and settled. It was strange, how nice it felt. It wasn’t like the bear hugs Father used to give her, where her small frame would be completely enveloped and held snug. No, this was something a bit more careful and delicate, something nostalgic and delicate but just as important.
Mother offered to walk her in, carefully dabbing the smeared mascara and smudged eyeshadow aside with a handkerchief, but Momo insisted she’d be fine alone. After stepping out of the vehicle and into the brisk evening air, she took a breath to help settle her nerves and maybe alleviate the twinge of a small headache she could feel brewing. It rattled inside her, still a little shaken up, but she squared her shoulders and made the trek inside. Mother didn’t leave until she was inside, she noted, and made a mental note to talk to her later more about everything that had happened that night. The incident with Manzo had been one thing, but there was the separate can of worms it had opened that she wanted to take care of, too.
She made sure to be quiet as she made her way to the elevator, the sounds of some of their peers milling about in the living room easy to hear. She was pretty sure they were gearing up for their Saturday evening game fest. Surely there’d be a barrage of broken controllers a la Bakugo if it was one of their Super Smash nights, she thought with a small huff, before turning to hit the elevator button. “Momo?” A familiar voice chimed beside her, causing her to jump.
She turned and blinked to be greeted by Todoroki Shoto, staring at her with his usual unreadable face, and let out a small squeak of shock. “Ah, Shoto,” she sighed as her shoulders sagged slightly. “Perhaps Ochako-Chan’s suggestion of putting a bell on you wouldn't be such a bad suggestion. You startled me.”
He hummed in acknowledgement, tilting his head as if sizing her up, and blinked slowly. “I got my Snooty and Cranky villagers earlier,” he said.
She gasped before pouting at him. “You said you’d wait for me to do any more island hopping, Shoto!” she huffed.
“I needed to load up so I could give Ojiro some oranges, and then I got kinda wrapped up doing stuff,” he admitted. He stole a glance at their classmates as Sato and Tooru made their way from the kitchen area with a few bowls and snacks. “Are you going to join everyone else for JackBox tonight?”
She shook her head. “No. Tonight has been a bit more… eventful than I would have liked,” she said, making sure to keep her composure. She didn’t want to worry him over it all. “I just want to go finish washing off the make up, put on some comfortable clothes and relax.”
“I’ll get snacks, then,”
“Huh? Snacks?”
“I still have two plots left for my island and a lot of Nook miles tickets. You get changed and I’ll meet you in your room in a few minutes so we can do them together,” And with that, he moved towards the kitchen.
She blinked and watched him before letting out a small laugh and shaking her head, hitting the elevator button. Shoto was an odd one to be sure, especially since he’d started working towards coming out of his shell more. A part of her was grateful but another part found his stubborn streak to be a bit exasperating. Then again, he only seemed to push when he knew something was wrong, so maybe it was more just trying to offer comfort? Despite his usual aloof demeanor, he was surprisingly astute at reading a room. As to whether or not he could understand how to react to what he was able to deduce was another matter entirely, though.
She set that aside while she got washed up and changed. Her mind shifted gears as she stared at her reflection, thinking about what Mother had said. She felt a tightness in her chest as her mind whirled again. There was some comfort in Mother acknowledging that there was room for growth, sure, but… The catalyst that remained unsaid left her sick. Even if Mother hadn’t said it, she knew this was a reaction to the looming shadow of Father’s death. She had to swallow a growing lump in her throat and shake her head, put those thoughts to bed until a more appropriate time.
She didn’t want to ruin the rest of she or Shoto’s evenings.
She opted for some old sweats and a tank top, taking a moment to comb her hair out from the complex updo it had been styled into, opting to leave it loose afterwards to help abate the small headache she had brewing. Though, if she was honest, sitting and playing games with her boyfriend seemed like a nice way to wind down. She had been having a blast watching Shoto become completely enamored with his little island and all the cute animal villagers with him.
She’d had her own file a good time longer than him and was mostly done with all the villager-hunting and replacing she’d wanted to do but found watching him work through his first experience with it endearing. He’d never even played an Animal Crossing game before so everything was completely new to him. Once she was settled, she took her unit off the dock and propped open the door. Not too long after she’d taken the time to give daily gifts to Phoebe, Ozzie, Chai and Shep, Shoto appeared in the doorway. He had four lychee ramunes, a bowl of popcorn, a bag of konpeito, a variety bag of hi-chews and a package of black licorice tucked away in his arms, his Switch case strap around his wrist. “Ah, here, let me help you,” she urged, setting her Switch down and getting up to help him. “Also, you can dock your Switch on mine. That way we can see your island visits on the big screen together.”
“Thanks. I grabbed a few different things but I can go downstairs and get more later,” he offered as she took the drinks and popcorn. He set the other snacks down on her dresser before heading over to her bed to rearrange the pillows to form the usual cocoon they made for play sessions together. She took his Switch and docked it for him, then grabbed his joycons and put them in the controller holder. Once that was all set up, Shoto settled into the large pillowy ring with his legs spread so that she could settle between them, resting her back against his chest, him using her pillows to prop him up and her relying on him.
She used her remote to flick on the television, then grabbed her console from the other end of the bed and reached for the bowl of popcorn, popping a few pieces into her mouth. “So you did some island hopping while I was gone? Find anyone you liked?” she asked as they watched his game load up.
“I encountered Diana on one of them. She talked to me like she didn’t know me, which was weird,” he said.
“Well, of course she did! That Diana is different from the Diana on my island,” she giggled. She then perked up and glanced up at him. “Oh, and I still need to come get some oranges from you. They’re the only fruit I’m missing on my island.”
“I still can’t believe that out of the fourteen people that have this game, I’m the only one who ended up with oranges as their island fruit. Or that one of you didn’t at least get it as your exotic option,” he commented as his character stepped out of his house. “Oh, and how soon before I can move my villagers' houses?”
“You’ve already gotten your first three furnished homes, so I think you should have access to it. It’s just a matter of having the bells to spend on moving someone,” she explained as she glanced down at her own screen. Shep came rushing from the left to talk to her excitedly. “Who were you thinking about moving?”
“Roald. I want to move him to the other side of the island from me,”
“Aw, why? He’s so cute!”
“I think he’s plotting to kill me,” he said, completely serious as he stopped in front of the penguin in question's house. When he’d first made his file, Shari and Roald were his beginning villagers and he’d decided to place their tents close to his own for the sake of ease.
She snorted and looked up at him. “He’s just a penguin, Shoto,”
“Just look at his eyes, Momo… He’s a villainous mastermind,” To illustrate his point, he ran his character in a circle around the little avatar, before turning and darting to the left. “That’s why I need more villagers like Ruby and Kyle, who have my back no matter what. I need a whole squad for the day he finally snaps.”
“You don’t think Gayle and Punchy would have your back?”
“Gayle would probably be on my side. She and Roald had a fight the other day so there’s bad blood there. But I don’t want Punchy putting his life on the line. He is a precious boy who must be protected,” he said, glancing down at her with a stern gaze.
She couldn’t help but snort at the expression. Specifically in that it was being enacted regarding pixelated animals on a Nintendo game. “And did you find anyone worthy of enlisting for this most noble of causes?” she teased.
He hummed, reaching with one hand to grab a bit of popcorn himself as he came to a stop between a labelled plot at the edge of the beach. He clicked on the sign, pulling up a card that read “This spot reserved for Static’s new home.”
“Oh, you got Static? He’s a great choice for your Cranky!”
“I like that he is a very tiny squirrel with a very deep voice,” he said.
“Much like how you like that Punchy is a cat and is Lazy?”
“You get me,” he said before running upwards. He crossed a bridge to another area to show another plot with a sign that read “This spot reserved for Willow’s new home.”
Momo giggled. “Willow’s a good choice, too. I almost expected that you’d try to get another cat villager for your Snooty villager, but sheep villagers are always a good one, too,” she said excitedly. She plopped a few more pieces of popcorn into her mouth as she walked into Bruce’s house on her own game. “So you officially have every personality type on your island! Do you have any idea as to what kind of personality types you’d like to have duplicates of?”
“Hmm… Not too sure. You have two Jocks and two Normals, right?” As he asked that, he ran back to his Resources Center to get the first of his last two house kits.
“Yeah. I have Bam and Tybalt, and Bertha and Savannah,” she hummed. She watched as he placed the new house right behind his own, as if it would be watching the back of his own. She rolled her eyes and shook her head at the sheer ridiculousness of him.
He hummed thoughtfully before he made his way into the airport. “I guess I’ll just go for characters I like. Personality doesn’t really matter to me since I already have one of every type.”
“That’s a good approach, I think,” she hummed, tossing a bit more popcorn into her mouth. “How many Nook Tickets do you have?”
“13,” he said while speeding through the dialogue to board the plane. “I farmed Nook miles after I found Static and Willow so I could go get more villagers once you got back.”
She tilted her head up and pressed a small kiss to his chin. “So sweet,” she hummed before looking down at her own game as she started looking for her daily fossils. She’d already completed the fossil exhibits in her game, but like the extra scratch she got from selling the duplicates.
For a moment things were quiet as Shoto used his ladder to climb up the three tiers of the small island to the top, where his potential new villager was waiting. To then immediately start climbing back down at the sheep sitting in front of the campfire. “Nope. Nope. N. O. P. E,” he mumbled as he did.
“Aw, you don’t want Pietro? He’s considered rare!”
“And he can stay rare and away from my island,”
The next three islands were deemed ones Shoto wasn’t interested in - Eugene, Jeremiah and Limberg - not that she could blame him with Limberg. “He’s not particularly good,” she mumbled.
“You know, I don’t think I’ve seen a single mouse villager that I like the design of,” he commented as he wandered off the desk and onto his fifth island.
“Bree and Dora are pretty cute but most of them are really lackluster,” she agreed, saving her own file and setting her Switch in her lap as he approached the campfire.
Shoto blinked in slight surprise. “A snow leopard?”
“Actually, Bianca’s classified as a tiger, despite her markings,” she said. She watched as he immediately invited her to his island. “Just so you know, she’s a Peppy type, I think.”
“She looks like Fuyumi-Nee,” he said. Ah, of course that would be enough to get him on board with adding Bianca to his roster.
She set her Switch aside and carefully maneuvered off of her bed. “I’m going to open one of the ramune. Do you want me to open one for you, too?”
She made quick work of opening the drinks and offering him his once he finished placing his last plot back on his own island. She took a quick sip from hers before opening the package of black licorice and eating a piece as she watched him. “Mind if I ask you something unrelated, Shoto?”
He glanced up at her, mismatched eyes sparking with something she couldn’t quite place, before he set his drink on the bedside table and patted the space she’d left. “Sure,” he said, his avatar boarding the plane to do his next round of island hops.
She was quick to settle back in with him, turning her body this time to snuggle into his chest. She felt him shift to wrap his arms around her, controller lax in his hand. “We’ve discussed it before but… What do you think it takes to forgive someone?”
He let out a thoughtful noise. “Well, I think forgiveness is different from person to person. Everyone has a threshold for what they feel is forgivable, so I think that needs to be considered,” He set the controller off to the side to card one hand through her hair while the other stroked up along her spine, the movements slow and soothing. “Speaking from my own situation… I chose forgiveness because I could see a genuine change and a refusal to shy away from the wrongs that had been done. I’m still keeping a distance, and I’m ready to burn that bridge in a heartbeat if I see a relapse, but… I can see authentic change. And that’s enough for me to offer my tentative, conditional forgiveness.”
She nodded at his words, closing her eyes and burrowing into him further. She had always wanted to have a better relationship with Mother, if she was honest. So… This could be a good chance for that, right? They could work on mending things between them and find some common ground. The thought of having a better relationship with her left a warmth in her chest, one that made her smile. Could they have proper Mother-Daughter days? Maybe she could learn more about the older woman’s hobbies and interests outside of Pro Heroics work? That could be nice. “Thank you, Shoto,” she mumbled.
“Any time, Momo,” he said, tipping his head to press a peck to the top of her head. He perked up again and glanced at the screen. “Not to derail but… I think it’s another cat?”
“Oh yeah? What color?” she mumbled.
He shifted his hands to pick his controller back up, keeping his arms looped around her though. “Grey. Oh, their eyes are different colors,”
“Oh, that’s-!” Momo’s eyes snapped open and she sat up, looking wildly over her shoulder at the screen. “Shoto, that’s Raymond! You got Raymond!”
#crumbles grumbles#TodoMomo#TW: Transphobia#TW: Body Dysphoria#my fics#So I got this request like four months ago#So that shows how long I've had my reading of Momo's Parents waiting in the wings lmao!#Hori has given us v small nuggets to work with for Momo#So I'm gonna give her the Ojiro treatment and give her family ties to explore#Also I'm a sucker for parallels with ships so *yeets some of those in here too*

that was enough (andreil)
i decided to write a short little blip based off of some photos i took of myself and of course, as an andrew kinnie, it became andreil focused. the pictures will be attached at the end of the post! (btw this was not proof-read at all and it's really just a mess pls forgive me.)
~
after a rough game of exy, neil and andrew are the last ones in the locker room to shower. it was against a difficult team; they had won, but it was a close call. all of them had been exhausted after the game but neil and andrew had both been on press duty that night and it had been rather lengthy. the foxes had offered to stay and wait, but neil waved them off. he didn't mind dealing with the publicity. of course, with the way neil's mouth tended to get away from him, andrew decided it might be smartest if he stuck around, even if he didn't particularly want to. someone had to limit the amount of senseless shit that neil spilled to the public; although it was rather funny.
the foxes knew that, quite frankly, andrew didn't care if they stayed or not. they were also aware that even if invited to celebrate their win, the two boys most likely wouldn't join them. they preferred to spend more time with each other than the foxes. well, at least andrew did. neil sometimes was able to convince him to come socialize with them instead because it was 'interesting' and 'made them a better team'. to andrew, it was laughable, but it was always worth it to see the soft smile on neil's face whenever he agreed to something slightly outside of his comfort zone.
by the time the boys were done with the press and moving on to get cleaned up, the rest of the team had gone back to fox tower and most of the stadium had cleared out as everyone tried to avoid rush hour at the same time. only wymack and abby were waiting for them, and after a gruff reminder for them to lock up and a softer reminder to stay safe from the both of them, they were gone. just like that, it was only the two of them.
neil was now comfortable enough around andrew not to be ashamed of his body and it’s numerous scars. andrew had been seen by neil a few times now, and though it was still new, andrew wasn’t as afraid of it anymore. both boys undressed openly, seeing as though they were the only ones there. neil finished undressing first and went into one shower, and shortly after, andrew knocked lightly on the door and asked, ‘yes or no?’
neil smiled slightly to himself. they’d showered together before; well, he had showered, and andrew had showered afterwards, not keen at first on taking his clothes off in front of neil. on one hand, it seemed weird that the first place to shower together would be in the foxes locker room; but at the same time, it couldn’t have been more fitting.
he gave his affirmation, and andrew slipped into the shower with him. it wasn’t spacious by any means, and they were rather close together, but neither of them seemed to mind. neil was careful of his hand placement, and kept them to his sides while andrew just stared at him for a moment. neil was content to do the same. every time neil opened himself up to andrew like this, his boyfriend got the same exact look on his face; the same warm look in those dizzing hazel eyes. he developed this stare that at first glance would seem blank and empty; but underneath, neil could tell that andrew was taking a moment to appreciate him. he was appreciating the trust given, and cradling it to his chest like it was the best gift he’d ever received. and even though andrew would deny it, and even if neil wasn’t quite sure it was there, he still swore that he saw something akin to love in andrew’s eyes when he looked at neil like that. but what would he, neil josten, know anything about that?
little did neil know, he looked at andrew much the same way. eyes full of admiration, gratitude, and trust. it was easier for him to show it with his soft smile and bright blue eyes, and it never failed to take andrew’s breath away. which, of course, he hated. he not-so-gently cupped neil’s face and awaited a nod before kissing him. it wasn’t long, by any means; they were both really too tired to get anything serious going right now. plus, they were in the foxes locker room. but andrew couldn’t help himself when he saw neil bite his lip like that, and the latter wasn’t complaining.
at first they continued the rest of the shower in comfortable silence. andrew helped wash neil, with consent first, of course, before moving on to himself. neil, knowing better than to touch without say, was content to watch. however, andrew sent him a look as he grabbed the shampoo and paused, staring for a moment. he then suddenly handed it to neil. neil blinked emptily, not really understanding, but taking the bottle anyways. andrew mumbled out with an impatient breath an explanation.
‘you said someday you’d like to wash my hair. now’s as good a time as any. my arms are tired from playing and getting you clean.’ he kept it brief and to the point, and neil knew he shouldn’t, but he still allowed that big grin to slowly cover his face anyways. he almost couldn't believe andrew had remembered him saying something as casual as that, but he also knew about that eidetic memory of his. andrew rolled his eyes, but there wasn’t any malice in it as he closed his eyes and let neil wash his hair, relaxing against the soothing scrubbing motion he picked up.
neil finished washing his boyfriend's hair and left him to rinse it out, getting dried off and dressed. he decided at the last minute that instead of wearing his own sweatshirt, he was going to steal andrew’s, and so that's exactly what he did. he checked his phone as a few drunken texts were starting to pile into his inbox, mostly from nicky. he browsed his text messages feeling mildly amused while he waited for andrew to come out, and a few seconds later, the water shut off. neil instinctively looked up when andrew exited the shower, and his heart leapt to his throat. yeah, he’d just seen andrew, but he hadn’t seen him. it was one thing when they were pressed close together in the dim light of the showers, and another thing all together when he was just… there. almost sparkling under the bright lights of the locker room, water droplets trailing down his skin and falling into crevices such as his abs or making little puddles in his collar bones.
neil was very obviously entranced. he snuck his phone up and snapped a picture of andrew drying off. he smiled fondly at the image before secretly catching another, but it didn’t go unnoticed for long. he giggled childishly when andrew noticed, and playfully told him to, ‘smile!’ andrew responded with quite the sneer and flipped him off, but again, there was no negativity behind the action.
once andrew was dressed (now wearing neil's sweatshirt instead of his own) they locked up the stadium and headed back to their dorm. everyone was down in the basement partying still, as they hadn't been absent long, so andrew and neil had the dorm room to themselves. both of them being absolutely exhausted from their long and well fought win, however, simply headed to bed. they curled up to one another; not quite touching, but close enough to feel each other's presence. with the fatigue of a long day of exy setting in and the smell of the vanilla body wash neil kept stealing from him, andrew was fast asleep in minutes. it was surprising to neil, as usually he was the first one asleep, but he wasn’t complaining. with a crooked smile at his sleeping boyfriend, he took a couple last photos to remember the night. maybe this night hadn’t been a big thing to andrew, but to him, every little moment meant the world. every little bit of trust handed over was like winning a thousand exy games all in one sweep. and even if it wasn't all of andrew's trust, it was some. it was progress. and to neil, that was enough.
~
when i say i wrote all of that just for these 5 pictures i'm not kidding. the sleepy andrew photos were kind of second thoughts, but i literally just wrote a whole ass one-shot solely because i'm a raging kinnie who looks like andrew minyard and also happens to kin him. well. i hope you enjoyed, and as promised, here are your pictures! (don't worry, all very sfw unless ur triggered by collar bones or shoulders)

Alone, Together | Chapter 28 | Morgan Rielly
A/N: I couldn’t bear to re-live too much of the playoffs so...yeah. This is the last chapter to deal with them. We are now moving on to the summer! Fun and interesting shenanigans ahead!
Lmao wow. So official with ur jacket in the wag group pic. Bet u begged the other wags for a jacket and to be in the pic.
You look really cute in your jacket! I think you’d look better if you were maybe Steph or Madison’s size though! Other than that, super cute!
OMG you are honestly the most desperate person in the city of Toronto
pls pls pls how can I become a wag
can u give Auston my number 416 555 0123
So…how’s Scotiabank treating you?
For the love of God, sign up for a yoga class girl. Pilates. Start jogging. Something. Nothing about your body is flattering. You can’t tell me Morgan likes all that flab. You were always a calf but you’ve been a cow since Christmas.
You want to make it seem like you’re ‘part of the group’ of WAGs but we can all tell you’re not. They include you to be nice but in reality, they probably don’t even speak to you outside of the arena. To think you are isolating Morgan from his friends and teammates – and for what? So you can have a WAG jacket one year? So you can flaunt in front of everyone? Morgan would be so much better off with someone who doesn’t leech off of him and who doesn’t reek of desperation.
***
Bee didn’t know how she survived all the way up to game six. It was a back and forth between the Leafs and the Bruins and she didn’t know how she was going to handle this game, with the Leafs being able to eliminate the Bruins if they won. The Leafs won game three, even though at 6:15pm that same Monday, it came down that Naz had been suspended for the rest of the series – however long that was. The boys were angry, but they tried not to let it show. That Wednesday, they lost 6-4. Morgan got two assists that night but they still couldn’t capitalize. In Boston for game five, the Leafs won 2-1, with Morgan getting another assist on Kappy’s goal. Now, with game six about to start, she was jittery. She even felt hot in the jacket but couldn’t bear to take it off.
She was praying for an Easter miracle.
Once everyone settled back into their seats after the singing of the anthems by Martina, her leg couldn’t stop bobbing up and down. It was Aryne who had to lay her hand on Bee’s thigh to get her to stop. “Are you nervous or something?” she asked sarcastically.
“How have you done this for almost ten years?” Bee asked. “I don’t know if I can handle it.”
“You’re going to be okay. You get used to it,” Aryne said. “Besides, this is actually only the fourth time John’s made the playoffs.”
“What? Really?”
Aryne nodded her head. “When we went to Sochi it was much more nerve-wracking. But that’s besides the point. You need to calm down.”
“So if they win this, they face the Columbus Blue Jackets, because the Blue Jackets swept the Tampa Bay Lightning,” Bee listed off, remembering the look of the bracket in her head.
“Exactly.”
“Could we beat the Blue Jackets? Like in a series?”
“In a heartbeat.”
Bee’s chest tightened. “So…like…we could really do this.”
Aryne nodded her head. “Really really. But we can’t think about that right now. We need to focus on beating the Bruins.”
Morgan opened the scoring. It happened about ten minutes into the first period, a one timer from the blue line thanks to Willy keeping it in the Bruins zone, and Bee erupted from her seat with the crowd to scream and cheer for him, even high-fiving a man and his son who were seated in front of her. She looked up at the jumbrotron to see him fist-bumping with the bench before they replayed the goal. Her heart fluttered in her chest knowing that he had opened the scoring in such a big game, motivating the rest of the team.
That didn’t last long though. Brad Marchand scored less than two minutes later, and another goal by Krug ended the first period. DeBrusk, still playing even though there were rumours that he had a concussion, scored in the second period. Auston scored in the third period and tried to rally the team to tie it. Late in the game, Morgan and Jake DeBrusk got into a little…scuffle on the ice, and DeBrusk pushed Morgan’s helmet off. There was an exchange of words, a little pushing and shoving, and Bee couldn’t bear it.
“PUNCH HIM IN THE FACE!” she screamed at the top of her lungs, surprising even herself at the ferocity and volume of her demand. She stood up in her seat to watch the aftermath and the replays on the jumbotron. Surely an opponent pulling off the helmet of another player would result in a penalty? “WHAT FUCKING BULLSHIT!” she screamed at the top of her lungs again.
“Bee, there are children present,” Aryne grabbed her hand.
“FUCK YOU DEBRUSK!” she shouted one more time before sitting down, huffing and puffing in anger as they showed a replay yet again. “I guess game two let us all know the Bruins can do whatever the fuck they want and get away with it!” she said loudly, but not as loud as before. She looked at Aryne. “Can you believe this?!”
“Yes Bee, it’s game six of the playoffs,” she giggled slightly. “This is the most I’ve seen you get riled up about hockey ever. I think Mo needs to start getting more physical more often,” she wiggled her eyebrows.
Bee snorted. If only Aryne knew. “I just…nobody’s allowed to touch him. Nobody. I’ll deal with them myself if I have to.”
Unfortunately, the Leafs couldn’t capitalize and Brad Marchand scored again. The final was 4-2. They’d be going back to Boston.
Another game 7.
Bee could see the looks on everyone’s faces as the buzzer rang to signal the end of the game. The girls who had been through this before – Alannah, Lucy, Madison, and others – were not smiling. At all. There was a look of worry mixed with dread on their faces. As fans filed out of the arena, the girls all sat in their places, staring at each other. Nobody got up – Bee didn’t think anyone had the strength to. There was always a lot of media after the games, anyway, so there was no point in leaving when the fans did.
Aryne, forever the optimist, saw the look on Bee’s face. “They can do this, Bee. I know they can,” she said. “We need to stay positive.”
“I know they can. The question is if they will,” Bee mused. “What if they get those awful referees from game two again?”
“They won’t. The NHL will never let them officiate another game again, they were so bad. We need to stay positive. They have all the tools they need. They can beat the Bruins.”
Bee wished she could be as positive.
***
Morgan wasn’t a man of many words when he came out of the locker room. He gave Bee a kiss and said goodbye to everyone before they descended down to the parking garage. Rocco and Clarette had invited them over for an Easter dinner, and that’s where they were supposed to be headed. But Bee could see the dejected look on Morgan’s face and the bags under his eyes. She knew he would probably rather just go home. She knew he was tired, aching, that he now had a flight to catch tomorrow to go into enemy territory.
As they got into the car, she looked over at him and put her hand over his. “I can call Clarette and tell her you’re tired if you want to go home,” Bee said softly. “They’ve been watching. They’ll understand.”
“Why would you do that?”
“Morgan, come on,” she said. “If you want to just go home we can go home. Or I can take the subway up myself and you can go and rest.”
“No no no,” he said, flipping over his hand to hold hers and bring it to his lips to kiss. “We promised them we’d be there for Easter dinner. Clarette’s probably made four different courses. We’re going. I’m okay.”
“Morgan.”
“Briony, I want to take my mind off of hockey right now,” he said, his voice sombre, firm, and resolved. “I want to be around family.”
She couldn’t protest. Not when she heard the tone of his voice, not as he cradled her hand in his against his chest, not as he looked at her with his blue eyes. She couldn’t do it. “Promise me you’ll tell me you want to go the second you want to? Don’t feel obligated to stay longer.”
“I will Bumblebee. I promise,” he said, kissing her hand one last time before pulling out of the parking spot.
When they arrived, it was Rocco who opened the door to greet them. “Mr. Goal Scorer tonight!” he beamed as he hugged Morgan. “Great goal tonight!”
“Thank you,” Morgan smiled.
“And you!” Rocco turned his attention to Bee. “That jacket looks great!” She spun around so he could see the giant Maple Leafs logo on the back and he oohed and awed at it. “Can I buy one too?”
Bee giggled as she showed him the ‘Rielly’ patch on her arm. “You have to start dating Morgan to get one.”
“He’s handsome. That could happen.”
They broke out into a fit of laughter as Sarah Jessica Barker came running towards them, bringing with her Angie, Mason, and Joshua. Morgan bent down to pet her and coo at her while Angie, Mason, and Josh looked on with amused expressions on their faces. “Sorry about the game,” Angie said as Sarah Jessica Barker had enough of Morgan and moved on to Bee.
“What are we having for dinner?” Morgan asked. His way of letting her know he didn’t want to talk about it. Angie got the hint. So did everyone else.
“We’re Italian. We have lamb on Easter,” Rocco informed him.
“We’re also French-Canadian,” Clarette piped up from the kitchen. Morgan couldn’t help but laugh. “We are also French-Canadian and have butter tarts to offset the Italian lamb.”
“That’s what I like to hear, Clarette! Dessert!” Morgan called out to her as she appeared from the kitchen. “I’m sorry we had to push this back so late because of me.”
“Late? What late? It’s barely 7. Italians have dinner at 9pm,” she said, side-eyeing her husband. “But everything is ready, so everyone should go sit at the table.”
***
pls tell ur boyfriend the next game is kind of important and if he could step it up that would be nice
lemme guess…ur going to boston on mo’s dime for game 7? U have a job yet u never work. So lazy.
No matter how hard you try you will never be as pretty as Steph or Cassie. Don’t know why you think you are. Don’t bother.
You know all the other girls are talking about you behind your back, right? Word on the street is you’re the most desperate social climber ever, and when the playoffs are over, you’ll be gone too. On to the next hockey player, slut.
***
Bee didn’t have anymore nail polish on. She had peeled off her shellac from sheer anxiety. Going into the second period, the Bruins were up 2-0, and then John had scored thanks to an assist from Tyler. Going into the third, it was 2-1. The boys could do this. They could do this. They could do this.
Bee decided against getting together with any of the girls. She was too nervous and she didn’t want any of them to see just how worried, panicky, and jumpy she was. She was alone in the apartment and, honestly, right now, she preferred it that way. She could yell at the TV without anyone looking at her. She could yell stupid stuff, stuff that probably didn’t even make sense, and nobody would say anything. She could cry in peace if she wanted to. She also knew that, regardless of the outcome, the boys would be on a flight after the game, coming home in the middle of the night. She wanted to be home for Morgan. Regardless of the outcome.
When the third period started Bee was optimistic. But less than three minutes in, Sean Kuraly scored. 3-1. The boys could still do this. They could come back.
Then Charlie Coyle scored near the end. 4-1. Bee’s chest tightened. That was what the score was during that awful game seven in 2013 before the Bruins came back. Maybe the boys could do the same, with much, much less time.
Patrice Bergeron. An empty-netter. 5-1. The Bruins fans went wild. A waterfall of tears streamed down Bee’s cheeks.
The Toronto Maple Leafs had been eliminated from the playoffs.
Despite her sadness and despite her pain, she kept the TV on. The stupid panellists with their stupid opinions provided background noise for her tears, but she didn’t listen to anything they had to say. Why would she when they were trashing Fred, saying he was incapable of being a “game seven goalie”, whatever the fuck that meant, when just two weeks earlier they were calling him the best goaltender in the world? Why would she when all they did was go over every single little thing the Leafs did wrong? Why would she listen to them completely tear apart and break down a team they all relied on for their hefty paycheques? She wasn’t stupid – she knew how sports media worked. She knew the Leafs provided rating and that their ratings were through the roof because of this – they’d probably be getting some nice bonus cheques. They were all feckless – all of them. They changed their opinions on the fly, whenever it suited them, whenever it got them more ratings and more viewers who ended up adopting their shit opinions. ‘Experts my ass’ Bee thought. Especially that Nik Kypreos guy. What an idiot.
And then Morgan appeared on the screen.
She wanted to scream. Were they actually interviewing him right now? Really?! Not even two minutes after the end of the game and they had paraded him out of the locker room into some hallway to answer asinine questions about another heartbreaking game seven? ‘LET THEM GRIEVE!’ she wanted to shout. ‘LET THEM FUCKING GRIEVE!’ But no. Apparently that was impossible. They wanted every sound bite they could get just so they could talk about it for fifteen minutes afterwards. Because they Leafs were money. That’s all they were to these people – sound bites and ratings and money. They weren’t just hockey players dejected after a loss; they weren’t men who put everything they had into the game, into the entire series, into the entire season; worse yet, they weren’t human beings with complex emotions who didn’t want microphones and cameras shoved in their faces as they dealt with the insurmountable fact that they had let an entire city down. Money.
She looked at him and how dejected he looked, how heavy his breathing was underneath all his gear. She wanted to shatter every plate in their kitchen against a wall in anger. When he was finally released and went back to the locker room, she shed more tears. God knows how many reporters would be waiting for them in there, too.
She just wanted him home. God, all she wanted was for him to come home.
***
When Bee heard the door unlock at almost 2am, she jumped off the couch but stood stoic in her place. She watched as Morgan pushed open the door, lugging himself into his apartment, letting the door close behind him. The first thing he looked for was her. She was all he wanted to see.
“Baby…” she mumbled, running over to him. “Baby, baby, come here.”
She grabbed on and attached herself to him like he was going to float away. He immediately wrapped his arms around her, burying his face into her neck. He lifted her up and she wrapped her legs around him tightly. Almost absent-mindedly, he walked them over to their bedroom before collapsing on the bed. He didn’t let go. She felt tears on her neck as they lay there, wrapped into each other, and she began running her fingers through his hair and playing with the tufts of hair at the base of his neck, knowing it was soothing for him. It was all she could do; all she knew she could do. There wasn’t anything she could say that would make him feel better. There were no words for this. No words besides “I love you,” which she whispered to him over and over again, for however long she needed to.
***
“We couldn’t do it.”
That’s what Morgan kept repeating.
“We couldn’t do it.”
Bee couldn’t rewrite history. “You couldn’t do it now. But you can and you will. One day.” It was all she could offer.
“We couldn’t do it.”
***
Bee had pre-emptively taken the day off. She didn’t need to worry about work and, quite frankly, didn’t exactly want to right now. She got a text from Mark early that morning. Tell Morgan we were rooting for him all the way. We’re proud of him. He’s one of the only guys who showed up to play the game the entire series.
Bee read the text out to him. He said nothing.
***
Bee only left the bed to make him breakfast – some Greek yogurt with an organic granola mix and some fresh raspberries and sliced bananas. When she brought it to him, still in bed, she saw he was in and out of sleep. She could only imagine he was trying to survive on his last legs of energy by this point. She placed the bowl on the side table before helping him out of his clothes so he could at least be comfortable in his sleep. He moved around absent-mindedly to help her, but she knew he wasn’t there. He probably thought he was hallucinating. When she was finished, she cupped his face in the palm of her hand gently. She’d put the granola mix in the fridge to eat later.
“Y’know what?” he mumbled out suddenly, barely audible or understandable through his fatigue, his eyes cracking open only slightly to look at her.
“What?”
“I wanna take care’f you.”
Bee didn’t understand what he meant. She thought for sure he was dreaming already and in some form of sleep paralysis or lucid dreaming. “What are you talking about?”
“I wanna give you s’much you c’n quit your job n’do s’mthin’ you really love. Cause I love you.”
Bee was completely still as the words escaped his mouth. Before she could come back to, or say anything, she heard his soft snores.
***
It was a few days until Morgan returned to his normal self. Well, semi-normal.
The locker clear out was scheduled for Saturday, April 27th, and because they were leeches who didn’t know when to stop sucking the life out of something, the media was expected there. Mike Babcock would hold a press conference. The summer rumour mill began of who was staying and who was not; who was going to earn these many millions here and who was going to earn those many millions somewhere else. Morgan spoke to the media, as he always did. Off-camera they asked about what he would get up to the entire summer over in Vancouver, since naturally he’d go home. ‘Lots of golfing, probably,’ he’d answered. ‘Dad’s birthday at the beginning of June. Long walks with Maggie where she gets to swim – she loved swimming. She’s queen of the ocean, too. Lots of poolside days. Good wine on the deck. Back to Toronto for the Pride Parade. Fishing trips too, as always. But mostly just stick around home.’
Of course Morgan would go home. He deserved more than anybody to go home to his family, to take in the fresh air of the B.C. coast and rejuvenate himself. He deserved to relax; to kick his feet up and sleep with Maggie in his lap; to take the boat out to Gibsons for oysters or to chase pods of whales again. He deserved to go fishing. Go golfing. Do anything he wanted to do. Isolate himself from the outside world, from hockey. Live through summer on his rules, how he wanted to.
She just wondered how their life in Toronto factored into that.
It was a long flight, from Toronto to Vancouver, and Morgan was meant to relax. She didn’t want him to feel obligated to do anything he didn’t want to do. They had events that they needed to attend together, sure – like Zach’s wedding at the end of June – but she wondered how all that would factor into him taking time for himself. She knew they would work it out, like they always did, but it was four months of summer that needed to be accounted for and planned. There was only so much time she could take off at work – they both knew that. So she’d have to stay in Toronto. She wondered if his schedule would be like how she assumed last summer’s was, when she met him. A bit of time here, a bit of time there, a bit of time anywhere he wanted to be.
When the locker clean out was all said and done, Bee and Morgan sat together in their apartment, her legs draped over his. It was all she thought about on the way home. Since the reporter had asked the question. “What are we going to do this summer?”
“Well, we have Zach’s wedding and--”
“You deserve to go home,” Bee blurted out. She was trying desperately not to let her tears fall. Being without him for long stretches of time was going to be hard – just like it was during the season – but he needed it more than anything. “You deserve to go home and relax for a bit. You’ve had a tough year outside of hockey, too.”
She watched as his brows furrowed at her words. “What was so tough outside of hockey?” he asked.
“Me. The break-in. My mom dying. You didn’t deserve to have to deal with that and--”
He cut her off by giving her a kiss. “Do you mean outside of hockey, when I met the love of my life?”
She couldn’t handle his words. The tears escaped her slowly, and immediately she wiped them away with the backs of her hands. Morgan leaned forward again, capturing her lips in another kiss, and soon, they couldn’t tear themselves away from each other. It was only when they had to break for air that he spoke again. “I am going to go home, Briony. But only for a bit. I’ll be back and forth, but it’ll be okay.”
“You need to take this time to relax,” she stressed, putting her hand on his chest. “You can’t go back and forth all the time. This is your time off.”
“I’ll be fine. It’s nothing that I’m not used to,” he said. “Besides, you know I can’t go too long without seeing you.”
She sighed again. “I can’t go too long without seeing you either. But your priority shouldn’t be me, your priority should be yourself.”
“Hey, you’re always my priority,” he said, grabbing hold on her hand on his chest. “You’re my home now too, Bumblebee. Don’t you ever forget it.”
She internalized his words as much as she could. You’re my home now too, Briony. She never thought she’d hear those words – that someone would consider her home. But of course Morgan did, and Morgan was the one to say it about her. And even though she knew that in her close future she’d be spending more time than she liked alone, she knew that once he came back to her, they’d go back to being themselves, together. “Let’s…let’s take out our calendars.”
“Bumblebee.”
“I want to see when you’ll be gone. I know you’re out in PEI with Dion an the Boys and Girls Club, and I know--”
“Bumblebee--”
“Please Morgan. Just take out your calendar. For me.”
He didn’t fight it. He moved to take his phone out of his pocket and he opened the calendar. “I’m going to see if I can catch a flight to Vancouver mid-week, okay? It can give us a couple of more days together,” he said. Bee nodded her head, cuddling more into him so she could lay her head on his chest, just below his shoulder. “We don’t have much in May. I know you have Alannah’s bachelorette party on the 11th but it’s not like I need to come to that. I can be back in town for the long weekend the following week and stay for a while. But then I want to be back home for dad’s birthday. I want to take him golfing. We always go golfing for his birthday.”
“Of course,” Bee said. She couldn’t help but smile slightly. “Back and forth, back and forth – it’s gonna be like hockey didn’t even stop.”
“What did I tell you?” he smirked, giving her a quick kiss. “I’m gonna miss your cooking.”
“I’m gonna miss you eating all my cooking,” she said. “The apartment is going to feel so empty with you gone.”
“You should get a gerbil.”
She snorted as he wiggled his eyebrows at her. “Don’t tempt me, Morgan Rielly. You’ll come back in May and this place will be a literal zoo.”
“If that’s what you want that’s fine by me,” he mumbled, leaning in to kiss her again, and again, and again. Eventually, he pulled her on to his lap and let his hands wander underneath her shirt. “I’m gonna miss this most,” he mumbled against her lips.
“Me too,” she agreed, her hands cupping his face so she could look at him. He had shaved off his playoff beard, and there was only stubble now. She ran her thumbs along his jawline. “Gonna miss waking up to those baby blues every morning.”
He gave her another kiss. “Gonna miss waking up with my face between your thighs.”
A smile broke out on her face. “You’re a perv.”
“Only for you.”

EPISODE THREE
“this was literally one of the worst decisions i've ever had to make so now i'm just kinda pissed off!” - nash
HOH: Nash UPSIDE DOWN: Joey & Saira NOMINEES: Brianna & Gina POV: Jacob FINAL NOMINEES: Emma & Gina EVICTED: Gina (11-1), Jake (WALK)
ARIA

JOEY
WATCH THIS AGE LIKE MILK:
I feel great!!!!! Nash winning means my ass aint going up, I gave her 2 tokens, and she gave me 1, and I feel fantastic heading into this week
SAIRA
i feel okay about nash being hoh, she wasn't my first choice but i don't think im in any danger of being nominated (hopefully haha) im not sure who i WOULD want to be nominated, i just know who i wouldn't want, so as long as they're okay i'm good!
JEV
I'm once again feeling pretty good this week. I've grown pretty close to Nash since nominating her in week 1 and she told me and Nathan we aren't going up so, there's that! She's told me Gina is going up and will be her target which I'm not thrilled about but hopefully Gina can pull some miracle and win POV. I'm a little worried about Emma and Jake too, as they've both said they haven't spoken to her much which is dumb, bc like hello??? its week 3, i feel esp with Jake, I can understand Emma bc Nash keeps leaving her on read but I don't think Jake has even tried much (crying emoji) So hopefully they can ALSO pull something out
JAKE
FUCK MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i hate everyone in this game t b h. why can't people just follow with a plan and go through with it like it aint that hard to put your chips on one person from your alliance so youre all safe like........ i dont think these ppl understand strategy and it's TIRING. i frankly am over people relying on their friendships to get themselves through another week bc fucking nash won an alliance-based hoh comp. now we have to deal w this fucking friend group running the house another week. i don't know if i'm safe i'm honestly probably going to be put up??? even tho nash is the one that CONSTANTLY ignores my PMs even tho ive given her paragraphs to respond to... she's gonna do whatever her little friends want her to do. i mean that's what she literally said to me. i was like pls don't nom me <3 and she was like "im not making any promises im just doing whatever the house wants me to do" like girl............ lkjghklsdfjhg what kind of dumbass bullshit response was that. just tell me you're putting me up or you're not. youre a big girl you can make your own fucking decisions.
i give nash what i would give any hoh if they won and that is "i'd never ever nominate you it's never even crossed my mind" and hoping that's enough to make her wanna keep me. she might think im not going after her but, if she's smart, she'll send me out the door this week before i can retaliate.
im super super worried that jacob will be like oh jev n jake aligned in BBHOS9 u should put them up together since jev nominated you week 1. like i feel like she'd do ANYTHING jacob tells her at this point cuz shes just another one of his sheep so like hoping im good w jacob but he's such a wildcard idfk
at this point im just hoping me or emma don't get put up and if we do there will be a veto to be won and a nash/jacob to come after next so...... period
ARIA
yall i feel so fucking cracked and tired of everything but itS FINE!!! I got this easy peasy!! Im not going to always feel motivated but im doing my best and thats valid baby!!! So lets jump in, first off lets start with a random information dump of things i've collected
-jacob has talked about me w/ nicholas during pasio
-monty and jacob have a connection ( i dont even remember how)
-nathan nash (maybe jacob) obviously tight lmao
-joey monty close
-Jake made a counter alliance to Jacob's (actually joshes) alliance made of me gina saira emma and josh
-josh emma me alliance
-JOEY RECORDS CALLS
-Jake is wary of nathan (but also thinks hes cute ugh)
-told jake im wary of pasio peeps so he might nom them
-Jacob alliance STILL isnt created
-called with josh and told him that jacob is wary that the alliance isnt made yet
-jacob josh have a pregame
-told josh, saira and nick have a pregame
-josh kiki close
-josh thinks saira is a social threat
-josh prefers jev over nathan
-told monty to talk to jake more
-told joshua jacob is the most connected person
-got back to nash gina doesnt like her
-jacob kiki nash confirmed trio alliance
-nash told jev gina is the target (jev then told jake)
-josh thought jacob was the original maker of the alliance
-jake thinks jacob/josh are snakes
-jake also thinks jacob-josh-nash-kiki-bri-nick-nathan are an alliance
-josh wants to play the middle w/ me :uwu:
So from here I want to get into how my ideal week will go and how it will realistically go. IDEALLY Nash noms jev and josh with them not winning veto and the house gets rid of a utr social threat but realistically its gonne be gina and jake with gina going bc she doesnt talk to anyone of have any motivation for this game (I LITERALLY WROTE HER A PARAGRAPH TO SEND TO NASH TO NOT BE NOMINATED AND SHE GOES "hmm idk maybe ill send it" LIKE????)
Okay the other thing im freaking out about is bc i feel like theres tension between me Jacob Josh and Jake and im not sure what it is about. I mean i kinda do but im missing key components. The whole situation just doesn't sit right with me at all and I feel very at odds with them in a weird kinda way. I've explained this so many times but i have such a bad feeling that josh leaked the janelle alliance to jacob and is more with him than me and now josh is setting these two sides against each other and i just heard from him that nash isnt nomming him so now im really uncomfy ughhhh i have such a bad feeling and i really need to work on people like jev saira monty to make sure i have people behind me i can fall back on, but also im getting the vibe jake really really trusts me which is great because i want to go far with him as well, unless hes just misting me SUPER hard ughhh
god i just have such a bad feeling about this week buts its fINE totally fine ill work it out eventually,,,but now its trust ranking time yay
1.Gina (youre so inactive i adore you!)
2.Joshua (kid GANG!!! thank you for trusting me sometimes <3)
3.Jake (hes a crackhead but hes my crackhead)
VERY BIG GAP
4.Emma (shes chilling what a lovely gal)
5.Monty (better inactive than be active and a threat)
6.Nathan (youre kinda sketchy but hes like a funky older brother)
7.Josh (youre at the center of a balancing act i wonder if u can keep it up)
8.Nick (they always give such an honest vibe,,,,,i dont trust it)
9.Brianna (shes so sweet but the sweetest angels make the fiercest demons)
10.Jev(,,,,your on slightly thicker ice than joey but combined with a little more charisma)
ANOTHER GAP WOOT WOOT
11.Joey (youre on THIN fucking ice buddy,,,,please be more open w/ me)
12.Saira (im begging for u to talk game to me,,, but also since we havent talked u cant snake me yet)
13. Jacob (idk ily sm but youre so fcking connected and idk if i reached ur inner circle yet)
14. Kiki (my favorite furry)
15.Nash (please talk to me im begging ill do anything please plsease plaease plae-)
So update ive been talking around and wow this game loves looking at my allies and kicking them in the kneecaps while spitting in their eyes ugh. So nash is probably leaning towards nomming jake and Gina with gina as the target (really weird that jake is nommed makes me think jacob had some influence there) but in that scenario best case is that veto is used and anyone but josh goes up and that person leaves easy fucking peasy!! Anyway i just talked with josh and apparently jacob was the one who came up with the alliance idea which is interesting bc he tried to pin it on josh. Anyways not to totally contradict my initial rant but me and josh had a really good chat where we're kinda in the same position between two groups (the og alliance and janelle) and we dont know if we should make the og alliance and with who bc of janelle so we're struggling to see whats the correct move from here....or maybe josh is completely misting me but i fucking hope not ugh- either way im surviving this week and thats that!!
JEV
I'm realising that I'm getting myself into a pretty tight position since I have firm alliances with Emma & Jake and Nash & Nathan, as well as being extremely close to Josh C, which could prove difficult for me down the line, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.
KIKI
https://youtu.be/6cn8xUFWqhA
BRIANNA
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XvZzg3dTEZ89VeFbG3bxk4JFNtr7Ixm0/view?usp=sharing
i had to use google drive bc it wouldn't take my file on youtube :((((
JEV
So right now I've somehow accidentally wriggled my way into conspiring with Nash on how best to take Gina out, which is so dumb of me because I don't really want to see Gina leave this week, but at the same time I'm having to fight Nash's decision because she wants to put Emma up beside her and... I can't let that happen because I'm worried Emma would leave over Gina
JEV
So I'm speaking to Nash, taking the heat off of Emma by telling her I feel she could be a number for me/her/Nathan down the line, and now I'm pushing for Brianna to go up since Nash wants someone who 100% wouldn't leave over Gina and I'm thinking like... WHO would vote to evict Brianna, but at the same time I'm feeling super terrible about it because Brianna is a literal angel
JEV
Wow a lot going on so I'm trying to update as best I can, Nash is saying she's going to randomise for who goes to the upside down so I'm having to encourage her not to include me or Nathan in the randomisation just incase she needs us for strategising but REALLY its so I can stay and hang around and try my best to keep Emma from touching the block at all this week.
NASH
sorry for nominating women i didnt mean it.
EMMA
If i am being honest the more this game goes by i get so unmotivated and its only week 3 i suck because well in bbgames like galar and almia i mostly played from the bottom now im like alright i kinda want to fuck up my game for fun but kinda pisses me off a bit that i almost could of been nominated if it wasnt for jev but that pisses me off so much i tried talking to nash but i get left on read i dont take things 100x personal unless if somebody is being mean like laughing etc but knowing that i would be on the block over brianna when i did try talking to nash its still hurts a little but if somebody like gina wins veto if i get on the block it issss what it isss i guess but i played on the bottom way to many times maybe i can do this??
JEV
So my efforts worked and Brianna went up instead of Emma, now I've just gotta hope neither of the noms win POV/that the POV isn't used so I don't have to throw someone elses name out there to Nash :flushed:
JOSH
hello ladies and gays. straights aren't welcome here.
today, we are feeling GOOD because the person we nominated just a few days ago won power and STILL didn't nominate me. is that iconnery or what? i was honestly ready for my ass to be TOAST but i did approach nash before they won HOH and had a conversation about where we stood and they said i would be OKAY this week bc we did start talking. we love to see it, yes we do!
the nominees this week are gina and brianna and.. even though i'm in two different alliances with both of them, i'm not mad at either of them going up. i don't REALLY talk with either and i'd be happy to see either one of them go. the tricky part will be figuring out WHO to vote when the time comes, but we have a POV to happen before we get there. we'll SEE.
if i had to choose, i'd probably send brianna home simply because i find her a bit CHAOTIC where i feel like gina isn't really going to cause a lot of waves with me. she's much more quiet whereas brianna is more likely to be able to pick herself back up.
some other fun events going on:
jake was NOT happy about nash winning and thought he was going to get nominated because of it. he was about to RIP nash a new one and is really brewing with how much he hates them. MAKES ME LAUGH A LIL BECAUSE IT WAS SO UNWARRANTED BUT NEVERTHELESS, it's something to note that jake does NOT like nash.
i think aria is my number one right now bc we get along really well and have very similar opinions. i'm really open with how i talk to her so i'm HOPING she's not spilling everything i say to someone else but i don't think she WOULD? i dunno. i love her energy and i'm hoping we can SLICE AND DICE together in the middle.
my strategy is to take my HOH under my belt and take a step back for a minute while my two alliances (one: jake, aria, gina, emma, saira, me & two: jacob, aria, brianna, kiki, me) get picked off back and forth. i'm going to see if i can craft a narrative for them to go after each other but we'll SEE. there are a lot of people in the middle i enjoy a lot more than some of the people in my alliances so IDK. i feel like some people got thrown into these alliances that i did NOT want but they were kind of forced in so i don't trust it. and i think people KNOW because i'm not very chatty abt it in the chats (and i haven't even made one of the chats. am i supposed to? idk)
anyways that's all for now x

JEV
Not miss Nash coming to me asking how I'd feel about being renom :flushed:
JEV
So I literally just woke up from a sleep and in the space of 30 minutes have had to talk Nash out of renomming me, Emma or Jake since we've just made an alliance together so I warned her that probably wouldn't work out for us in the long run. We narrowed it down and she shortlisted Aria, Josh C, Monty & Nick, and I have spun her to try and get her to nominate Aria, because 1. I don't wanna see Josh C go up and 2. like with Brianna I feel nobody here would vote to evict Aria, and Nash wants Gina GONE (crying emoji) so I feel this was the only logical renom to suggest.
JEV
The conversation has turned back to Emma and I just really don't wanna let that happen because I do feel like she'd leave over Gina. Part of me is saying not to stick my neck out too much to save Emma but at the same time she's my number 1 in this game and I hope she'd return the favour if she was in my position.
NASH
this was literally one of the worst decisions i've ever had to make so now i'm just kinda pissed off!
ARIA
Well,,,, FBSFJDF I feel like im making so many of these but honestly this game changes everyday so please dont be too annoyed by me uwu, the mood swing i had just this DAY was insane so lets begin w/ the general info-
IN TIME LINE ORDER
-Jev told jake that something about noms but acted dumb when I asked
-Gina/Joshua/Aria alliance created!!
-Saira and Josh are close
- VIDEO DR GOES HERE
-Jake spills Emma-Jev-Nathan-Nash-Jake alliance with Emma/Jev/Jake being a trio as well= Jev created the alliance
-Jev prefers gina out
-jake doesnt believe in screenshots or recording calls
-Jev and Jake are close
-Jev/Jacob/Jake all played together before
-I leaked Bri's backups to Jake as well as Jacob's trio with Nash and Kiki
-nash almost backdoored jev bc he wasnt responding to her
-jev was the reason i was almost otb
-I WAS ALMOST OTB
-Josh AND Jacob both want Jake out
-Bri thinks nash's comp ability is scary
-Nash and Nick are close
-Jacob nervous about Bri's backup leaking
-Jacob barely talks w/ saira and monty
-made a final three w/ jacob josh called malibu
So now im debating whether its morally okay for me to analyze what happened in the living room in a game sense. FBSdffan So lets run down things in chronological order and I might mention my thoughts if they arent too controversial, Nathan leaks the alliance with jev/nash/jake/emma. Eventually emma says 'i wanna know who put these thoughts in the hohs head" and nick starts to shut the discussion down which is an interesting contrast to their earlier attitude where they were very for the drama continuing, which leads me to begin they had some sort of hand in it. Nathan goes on to say he likes nash on a personal lvl which jake analyzes as a nod to a friendgroup and a mini confrontation between nathan and jake occur. I believe that part was just a misunderstanding on both parties account. Then happy discussion until Jake calls nash out for being in the diary session for too long which leads to a discussion of house guests over analyzing production and using that as a strategy which is ultimately unfair and also at this time I believe nash was going through itTM leading to their friends to be slightly defensive on their behalf (which is valid) and i after rereading things i really hope that they're okay, ultimately this leads up to frustration on Jake's part and his ultimate quit.
I mean where do i go from here? I have the Bri's angels but that did get leaked to Emma on Jake's way out so i need to figure some way to micromanage that where i think im gonna make a emma jev alliance and work with them as a trio in the future (if gina goes) but rn i feel like this force of energy that is Bri's backups is gonna body for a bit but i think theyre gonna throw hoh leading me jev or emma to step up and body a bit. Like i think i might actually win hoh and nom nash and monty with a nick potential renom bc im BORED and nash continuing to skate by without even talking to me is not valid, and monty is so not here its like??? HEWWO??? but idk thats making big moves i may just chill a bit for now but i dont want jev and emma being targeted in the future bc theyre gonna be numbers for me and thats on PEWIOD!

EIGHT
Trevor comes back to the condo just after six, bearing the gift of Thai takeout. Not knowing what Harry likes, he just picked up two orders of curry and two orders of chicken pad thai for us all to share. Harry gets excited over the curry like a kid in a candy shop, claiming it’s his favourite, which is just as well. We sit around the dining table with the TV on in the background, Trevor telling us about his day.
“You didn’t sleep with him?” I ask in slight shock. Not that Trevor is a slag or anything, but he’s only ever had hookups with this Chris guy and has never shown interest in it being anything but sex.
“No. We went to Times Square and window shopped, which turned into me actually shopping. And we went to lunch and actually talked and had a good time. Then we went to Central Park and walked and talked more. I found out that he’s actually really funny and he’s a pretty good guy.” Trev seems a little surprised by the turn of events of his afternoon, too, which is pretty funny to watch.
“All the times you hooked up with this guy, and you never had a real conversation with him?” Harry asks, a little astounded. Like the notion of not at least knowing a little bit about your sexual partner is a foreign concept to him. Maybe it is.
Trev shakes his head. “I met this guy at a frat party the second week of the school year. I thought he was straight, since he was hanging out with all his frat brothers, making lewd comments about girls there. Came onto me later that night by kissing me and pushing me into his room. It never went beyond booty calls for us. I just assumed he was closeted gay or bi.”
“You should know better than to assume, Trev,” I point out. People assume he’s straight all the time, which makes for awkward situations for the girls who try to come on to him.
He rolls his eyes and clicks his chopsticks at me. “Yeah, yeah, I know, mother.”
“So are you gonna see him again, beyond a hookup?” Harry asks, mixing more of his curry with the white rice on his plate.
“We agreed to go out next weekend,” he admits, his cheeks tinging slightly pink. I smirk at him as he pushes his glasses up the bridge of his nose to try to hide it.
“Aw, Trevor has a crush!” I gush, genuinely excited. I’ve only ever seen Trevor actually interested in someone else once in our whole friendship, and the guy was very much straight. “Chris is really cute, too. Good job on that one.” I nod appreciatively at his selection. He has that typical frat boy look going, with the light brown hair, baby blue eyes, and snapbacks, but his broad shoulders, pretty smile, and constant scruff more than make up for it.
“Thank you, thank you.” He pretends to take a bow at the table.
Harry’s phone rings from his jeans pocket, interrupting our conversation. He sighs when he sees the name, but promptly answers it. He’s mostly quiet during the call, except for the occasional affirmation or hum. When he hangs up he sighs again.
“That was Paul. Lads wanna go out tonight.”
“And you don’t want to go with them?” I ask, slightly surprised. Harry seems like the type of guy that likes to take opportunities as they’re presented. A night out in NYC or even Jersey seems like something a twenty-one year old guy would jump at. Though, Harry isn’t a normal twenty-one year old guy.
“It’s not that. They’re all going out, so that means Paul needs to be there, which means I have to go.” He takes the last few bites of his food before moving to take it into the kitchen.
“Leave it, I’ve got it,” I assure, placing a hand on his arm to stop him. I’m sad that he’s got to go, considering how amazing the day has been. I’m also not sure that I’ll ever actually see him again, considering the two different worlds we come from. It’s bitter sweet, having had such an amazing day with this man who was little more than fantasy in my head for years. He’s so much more than I could ever had imagined, and I’m so hesitant to give that up. “C’mon, I’ll walk you out.”
Harry grabs onto my hand and presses a sweet kiss to my knuckles, lingering there for a few moments before letting me pull him up with me.
“It was good meeting you, Trevor,” he says, flashing my friend a smile. “I hope your date with Chris goes well.”
Trevor grins and nods. “It was nice meeting you too, Styles. And thanks. I’ll Tweet at you and let you know how it goes.” He winks at Harry, which makes me giggle.
Harry chuckles and nods. “I’m looking forward to it. On the edge of my seat.”
“Later, loser,” Trevor calls as I pull Harry out the door. Harry chuckles as he wraps his hands around my hips, pulling me to his chest.
“I like him,” Harry nods decisively.
“Me, too. That’s why I’ve kept him around so long. Plus, he’s loaded. Who doesn’t want a rich best friend?” I say sarcastically.
Harry’s smile is wide before it softens as he looks over my face. “I’m gonna try to make it back out here tomorrow. We don’t leave for Ohio until the day after. You’ll be around?”
I nod. “I’ll be here,” I assure.
Harry reaches into his back pocket and hands me his phone. “Give me your number so I can get ahold of you.”
I bite my lip and put my number in his contacts list. When I look up to hand it back, Harry’s hand is out in front of me, palm up, one of his rings in the center. It’s black and silver in a braided pattern.
“Yes, Harry?” I ask.
“Just in case I don’t see you again while I’m in America. I want you to have something to remember me by.” He seems a little shy, a light pink tinge spreading across his cheeks.
“Harry, I could never forget you. Besides the whole ‘A list celebrity’ thing, you’re a pretty unforgettable person.”
He bites his bottom lip as he grabs my left hand and slips the ring onto my thumb, the only one of my fingers that it’ll fit. It’s still warm from his skin.
“Still, I want you to have it.” I hear his phone ding in my hand, and we both look down to see there’s a new text from Paul, most likely urging Harry to get back to the car. Harry takes it from me and puts it back in his pocket. “I will try my best to be here tomorrow.”
He reaches up and cradles my head in his hands, his thumbs softly stroking the apples of my cheeks. I wrap my hands around his wrists just to feel his skin on mine. Harry leans in and very tenderly presses our lips together in a slow kiss. I can taste the spice of the curry on his lips, but there’s also his natural taste lingering underneath. It’s intoxicating in the best way possible, making my lips tingle and my heart rate to accelerate.
When he pulls back, I feel his breath puff against my face. I open my eyes to him licking his lips.
“I have to go,” he whispers. He tucks a piece of my hair behind my ear.
I rub my lips together and nod. “I know. Have a good night with the others.”
He smirks and shakes his head. “I’ll text you. I still have more to learn about you.”
True to his word, only half an hour after I watch him walk out of the building, my phone buzzes with a message from an unknown number.
Lads want to go clubbing. Don’t make me go!! Don’t pretend you’re not going to love it. Go get pissed and dance with pretty girls. But ur not with me. Ur the only pretty girl I wanna dance with. Ur full of it, Styles. Actually, I think u were full of it earlier ;) I was…I already miss u inside me :( Fuck, don’t do this right now. Don’t make me hard in public, pet. U started it! Well, now I’m ending it. No dirty talk tonight. But I thought daddy liked dirty talk. Micky… Yes, sir? Don’t make daddy have to tell you again. I’m sorry, daddy.
There’s a lull in the conversation like there hadn’t been before. I figure that he’s probably getting to a club and chatting with his bandmates, so I shrug and set my phone on the armrest beside me. Trevor and I are watching an episode of Jeopardy on the couch, so I pay a little more attention to the game. It’s the beginning of Final Jeopardy when I get a text back.
Ooh, ‘daddy’, eh? Never realized H was so kinky.
My heart seizes a little at the message, realizing one of his bandmates got ahold of his phone. I don’t know how much the other boys know about Harry’s sex life, but they just learned a whole lot more about it, now. From what little I know about them, I know this information isn’t going to be kept to just whoever is texting me from Harry’s phone.
Oh dear. Who is this? Niall. Who is this? The name Micky is familiar. Wait…ur the bird from m&g yesterday. Oh shit. H scored last night. Holy shit. H GOT LAID THERE’S A GOD JESUS Niall, give the phone back to H pls. He’s in the loo. And we’re not done here. How old are u? I remember you being fit. Lads teased H about it after you left. Um…i don’t think i should answer anything w/o H. But, thank you, i think? C’mon, love. H would tell us anyway. Us?? I thought i was talking to Niall. Tommo and Li are reading over me shoulder. You 3 are the worst. TELL US! -Tommo Please -Liam I’m 21. Nearly 22 Oh thank god. -Liam Did you fuck him? -Tommo Ignore Louis -Niall
The messages stop for a moment, and I’m left staring at my phone screen in a sort of horror. Trev’s too absorbed in the episode of Wheel of Fortune now playing on the telly to notice my dilemma. My phone buzzes again, and I expect more slightly inappropriate text from Harry’s bandmates, but it’s ringing an incoming call from Harry instead.
I answer and walk down the hall to my bedroom.
“Harry?” I answer, wanting to make sure I’m talking to the owner of the phone instead of his probably drunk and nosey mates.
“Hiiii,” he draws out. I can hear music in the background. “I’m sorry about them. They were pre-gaming before I even left yours.”
“I’m sorry they saw our messages,” I laugh. “Hope you don’t mind them knowing you have a daddy kink.”
He groans, and I can just imagine him pinching the bridge of his nose. “I mean, it probably would have come out eventually. I’m just gonna get mocked about it for a few weeks.”
I grimace. “I’m sorry.”
“Not your fault. Shouldn’t have left my phone on the table unattended.” I can hear other voices, yelling to be heard over the loud music, then Harry’s deep sigh. “And it’s begun. It’s only gonna get worse the more drunk they get. Especially Liam. Can’t handle his drink yet.”
“Maybe just get drunk so you won’t remember any of this in the morning,” I suggest jokingly.
“Be expecting some naughty texts around midnight, then. I’m a flirty drunk.”
“You’re always a flirt, Styles.”
“True. But now that I’ve had you, I can be more explicit. Have a good night, princess.”
“Goodnight, daddy.”
I fall asleep by eleven that night, despite my nap, having not had a whole lot of sleep the night before and a long day. I vaguely hear my phone buzzing on my bedside table at some point long after I’ve fallen asleep, but I’m too tired to check it. I have a pretty good feeling it’s Harry, but the messages will still be there in the morning.
I never get a chance to read them, however, because I’m woken by the buzzing of the intercom, someone requesting to be let up into the building. I check the clock with bleary eyes and see that it’s only nine in the morning. My first thought is maybe that Trevor forgot a key, or his mum is back from her trip and forgot a key. So, I quickly throw on the first shirt my fingers touch on my floor and trudge into the living area. The buzzer is still going incessantly when I reach it. I press the button to speak into the intercom.
“Trevor, I swear to God, if you forgot your key again, I’m just gonna leave your ass out there. This is the third time this month. And it’s only the tenth.”
“Not Trevor,” the voice comes back, crackly over the shoddy speaker. “But I come bearing breakfast and coffee and a day planned of sightseeing, so if you could be so kind to let me in anyway.”
“Harry?” I question. Last I had heard from him, he wasn’t sure if he was gonna be able to come into NYC today.
“Yeah, love. Let me up, I’m attracting a crowd. It’s like an episode of The Walking Dead out here.” There’s an urgency in his voice that I’ve only heard just now, so I quickly buzz him in, hoping he gets in without letting a crazy fan into the building. I unlock the door to the condo and wait for the knock on the door. I open in quickly to Harry, a drink carrier in one hand and a bag of delicious smelling food in the other.
“Jesus, Harry. You could’ve called or something,” I tell him, pulling him inside. He sets the food down on the counter and turns to pull me into a hug.
“I did, love. And sent texts.”
I look up at him and grimace. “I haven’t checked my phone. And I sleep like the dead.”
He chuckles, “I’ve realized. It’s alright, just telling you I wiggled my way into coming here today. There were conditions, though.” This time he grimaces.
I raise an eyebrow. “What conditions?”
There’s another knock at my door just as soon as the words are out of my mouth. Harry gives me a smile that says, ‘Please still love me after this.’ I glare at him suspiciously as I turn to open the door again.
“Ah, the famous Micky,” an Irish voice greets. And the voice definitely doesn’t belong to Paul.
Liam, Niall and Louis stand in the doorway, each with different smiles adorning their faces. Liam’s is a genuine smile, though he looks a little worse for wear. Probably drank too much the night before. Louis is giving me that cheeky closed mouth grin that alerts me that he has something to say, but he’s trying his best to keep it in. And Niall looks absolutely giddy, eyeing me up and down in appraisal.
“Security said we had to all go out today. Publicity something or other,” Harry supplies as an explanation for why the entirety of One Direction is now entering the condo.
“Hello, boys,” I greet as I close the door. The four of them in here makes the space look uncannily small, like even this extravagant condo in Upper Manhattan pales in comparison to these four men.
“Morning, Micky,” Niall greets enthusiastically.
Liam mumbles a good morning with a small smile, squinting. He’s very obviously hungover, though he’s trying his best. Louis grins and wraps an arm around my shoulder in a greeting hug.
“I brought coffee and food as a peace offering,” Harry admits, wrapping an arm around my waist. He seems to look down at me for the first time and grins. “You look good in my clothes.”
I look down at myself and realize I’m wearing the shirt he gave me yesterday in order to leave the hotel. I blush. “I wasn’t wearing a shirt when you rang. Had to throw something on real quick.”
“Who’s the third coffee for, H?” Louis asks, taking a seat at one of the barstools lined up at the counter. “Thought we were just grabbing Micky.”
“That would be for me,” Trevor says, coming down the hallway from his bedroom, only in a pair of trackies and his glasses, his hair a little bit of a mess from sleeping. He nods at Harry in greeting before picking a coffee cup out of the drink carrier. “Thanks, man.”
“Figured she’d be more forgiving if I buttered you up, too,” Harry admits.
“Good move,” Trev nods. He takes a sip of the coffee and sighs. “So damn good.” He finally looks at me. “Might want to put some pants on, girl. You’ve got four attractive men looking at your pretty legs. And your ass hangs out of the bottom.”
“I’m wearing pants!” I object, appalled he thinks I’d come out of my bedroom without them on.
He rolls his eyes. “I meant shorts or something. Jesus. Either way, they’re all still staring at you.”
“I’m in a committed relationship, mate,” Liam interjects. “I don’t look at other women like that.”
Trevor snorts unattractively. “Yeah, and I’m totally not gay. You’re full of shit, Payne.”
Niall cackles at Trevor’s casual call out of his friend and lightly punches Liam in the arm. Liam scowls at the Irishman and rubs at his arm, looking like a put out child.
I roll my eyes and extricate myself from Harry’s grasp. “You five behave. I’ll be back in a mo’.”
“It’s a bit warm outside,” Harry calls. “And we’ll be doing some walking.” I throw him a thumbs up over my shoulder, thankful for the heads up about what to wear. I pretty much already have an outfit picked out in my mind, but the shoe choice now has to change.
When I get to my room, I take off my t-shirt and go to my closet to pick out the appropriate items. I find the green crop top I had in mind and head to my dresser to find the black skirt with a thing white plaid pattern. I contemplate whether I should wear a bra, but figure the hot weather and the tight material of the shirt is reason enough not to wear one. I find a pair of no-show socks to wear with the maroon Converse I plan to put on later.
I quickly change into my clothes and go to the bathroom to run some product through my hair to tame it a bit. If it’s warm, that means it’s most likely humid, and my hair doesn’t take too kindly to the moisture. I do what I can with it and then add a minimal amount of makeup just so I don’t look like a troll while out with the boys today. I can only imagine there may be some photos taken by some fans, and god forbid I be caught in one by accident looking like I just rolled out of bed. I don’t plan on being in any of them, but people can be sneaky.
“All set, love?” Harry asks as I reemerge. I nod and smile as I sit on a side table to slip my shoes on. The coffee he brought is really calling my name, but I go for the food first, knowing I can take the coffee with me while we walk.
“What are you all doing today?” Trev asks, still just standing, eating his breakfast sandwich and coffee in nothing but his trousers.
Harry is sipping on his coffee, so Louis answers. “Bit o’ sightseeing. Hoping we can get away with goin’ some bigger places. People think we’re already on the road, so no one will be looking out for us.”
“Wanna go to the MoMA,” Harry says, passing me a sandwich. I thank him with a smile.
“You’re in New York, and yeh wanna go to a damn museum?” Niall asks with a crinkle of his nose in distaste.
“I’ll go with you, Harry,” I offer. “Lads can go do something else while we go there. Probably better if you split up for a bit, anyway.”
The boys nod and Harry looks at me, his fingers pulling at his bottom lip in a sign of contemplation.
“There’s a chance there’ll be paps today,” he warns slowly, his brow furrowed. “If you don’t wanna come, you don’t have to. I don’t want you to get overwhelmed.”
I reach over and put my hand over his with a smile. “I’m okay, Harry. I’ve got thick skin. We’re only friends hanging out while you’re in NYC.”
Trevor clears his throat and I see Louis’s eyebrows raise quickly on his forehead before settling back down, that same smirk I saw during the meet and greet taking up residence on his face again. I don’t know what garnered that reaction, but I ignore it.
Harry’s eyebrows furrow further in what I perceive as worry, but then he nods. “Right. Still, just let me know if you need to tap out and come back here.”
I smile. “I will. Now come on. There’s a lot to see in New York.”
