-POV: you. 10 am-

Inevitably, after the stream, I went to sleep. A nice calm slumber with schlatt's videos in the background. It was calming. I love his voice.

The next day came fast.

"Shit!" I ran out the door, late for my monday-morning class at college. Community. I wasn't exactly the high-achieving type. Well - I guess I was, but I'm not good at school. I was really smart, charming, and funny, but if I have to sit down to take a test, I might have a panic attack. The student rep's office didn't care, either, and said I had to have a disability diagnosis to qualify to even test in a separate room away from everyone else. I'm not disabled... just late.

I slammed through the doors to the building all but one of my classes took place in. Today was gen. ed., English. God, I hated this. What good was English class if I already knew how to speak it?

Using it to read and write, I guess. Cracking my laptop open, I managed to ignore the entirety of the lecture while prepping ideas for my next stream. THIS was what I aimed high for. Stardom. I hoped for it, at least. I never really thought I would be able to do it, I just wanted attention. Good attention - the kind that made people want to share their stories with you. None of that mattered anyways. I wanted a man. Schlatt. God, he was on my mind all the time. His hands.. his arms.. God, his voice. That man was so attractive I could drool. I needed him.

-General POV.-

As your professor droned on for 2 hours, you scoured the internet for ideas, help, and schlatt fics. You even pre-wrote some of your messages to schlatt. You were incessant. Right now, you were back in his DMs writing another sweet message. You worried this would drive him away - but he never came close to begin with,

what did you have to lose?

Your breakfast, apparently.

As you typed, you noticed something. Your breath hitched, hands instantly becoming clammy, shaky, and glued to your keyboard. Vomit crept at your throat.

Instead of seeing a notice - one that reminded you every day that he was out of reach - one saying "Invite this person to message.", you saw:

You slammed your computer shut, packed your bag, and ran out. You threw yourself and everything into your car, aimlessly scratching at your phone. You were desperate. Panicked. Nauseous.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" a blood curdling SCREAM croaked out of your throat. Thank God your windows were rolled up. You wiped the sweat off your forehead, leaned your head on the steering wheel, and held your phone. You shook. Panicked. Lost your marbles, for hell's sake.

"It was a terrible idea to ever message him," you started to hyperventilate. Tunnel vision ate away at your already poor, astigmatism ridden eyesight. Your eyes welled up with tears. You were so confused.

"What is going on? Why can I text him? WHY WAS MY TEXT READ?!"

Your head slammed back into the seat headrest. You had one person to call about this - your childhood best friend. She wasn't exactly reliable, or smart, but by God was she a party.

riiiiiiiiing, riiiiiiiiing, riiiiiiiiing click "Bex!! Oh God, you're not ready for this," "What are you talking about? What happened? Why do you sound so freaked out?!" "Schlatt read my texts. He accepted my dm request and now I can text him." "NO FUCKING WAY" "WAY" "AAAAHHHHHHH, Y/N, this is your DREAM! Get that sucker to collab and you'll be famous!" "It's more than that, though, I'm worried this is bad. Like he's gonna blast me on his stream or something. What do I do?" "You play the part, you get his ass." "Dude. Stop. I'm not scamming him. I WANT to be like him, not be his enemy." "God, okay, fine. But when you ain't got that bag girl.. don't come crying to me." "Alright, bud. Bye." "Byee~" click

"Motherf.." your eyes glanced back down at the phone. You opened up the chat again.

What now?

A short time had passed, just enough to get home and settled, but also enough to make you feel as if father time had fallen asleep on the job and forgotten to make the clock tick. You went home and got back to your desk. Maybe now you could gather an idea as to what was going on.

You desperately tried to find the words. Any words, actually. The only thing that came to mind was to be completely honest and truthful.

Your mind travelled all the possibilities of this - it could mean nothing, he could be belittling you, suing you, or doxxing you. Maybe this was him begging you to leave him alone. Maybe he would invite you onto a podcast, and if it didn't pan out well, you wouldn't reach the air at all? Maybe he was proposing. No, that was a weird thought for even you to think. He’s a star, not someone normal like you. You clicked off your tab and slammed your phone down onto your desk. God, you were a wreck. HE wrecked you. Emotionally at least..

You ripped your phone up from the desk with your nasty, clammy hands. You were drenched in sweat.

"HE ENJOYS MY PODCAST?!" you absolutely screeched from your desk into your hands over your face. What WAS THIS? Was it a dream? A terrible, irresistible, divine dream? Your favorite person ever, whom you were utterly obsessed with, liked YOUR podcast? You slapped yourself so hard it would burn. Why? You didn't know, but by God, you came to your senses.

"I gotta get down to business. I need time with him. Content or not, this is going to fill every gap in my heart that ever existed. Holy shit. I can't believe this." your stomach fluttered inside of you, the weigh on your chest became crushing, all at the same time. "Holy fuck. I'm gonna meet schlatt. In person or online, one way, or another."

"She finally saw, huh?" he muttered to himself. He sat at his desk while he uploaded the latest VOD, hearing his phone buzz. He just guessed it was her. His phone didn't go off much. Just Tucker and him exchanging wordles every day, and that had already happened. What else could it be?

"She makes some good shit. She's normal too. Unless she's faking it, then whatever I guess." he scoffed. "Maybe.. nah.

his fingers diligently typed a reply to you. He carefully worded everything, in the event you decided to screenshot, or let all of your 5 twitch streamers what happened. He scoffed again. "The fuck am I even doing? I know I shouldn't.." he backspaced a few letters, his breath hesitating as he stared at his screen. "..What would 200 people on youtube do to someone like me? Nothin'. It'll be fine. Bitch probably won't even say yes."

He thought back to about 6 months ago, when he first read your message. You were a frequent stream watcher, donator, and you messaged him everywhere, all the time. He knew it was you, your handle was the same on every platform. You were unmistakable. Obvious. Incessant.

"Damn. She fuckin' likes me, huh?" Schlatt looked at ted and showed him one of your many dms, holding his phone out to him. They both let out a deep chuckle, having a few drinks with Tucker at the end of recording one of the few Chuckle episodes left.

"Yeah bud. Just like the other 13 women that watch you." Ted snorted, sipping. "I do think it's sweet though, y'know? All these people genuinely look up to us sometimes. Means a lot to me." He took another large gulp.

"Let me see!" Tucker said in a drunken stupor. "I'm a member of this podcast, by God! Fuck you!" Ted pat him gently on the back as he started hilariously laughing after yelling at Schlatt.

"C'mon bud, I'll get you upstairs. You know your wife is waiting. She went to bed three hours ago." Ted chuckled softly, smacking Tucker on the back as he tried to stand up. "BRB schlatt."

"Yea, fuck 'em. Fuck you too tucker." Schlatt drunkenly chuckled. He looked back down at the message he showed his friends.

"well, maybe.."

His thumb hovered.

He started to scroll through your Instagram. Photos of you, your favorite people, your cat, your car. You had a small black tabby and a shitbox of a car. You acted as if they were the best things in the world when you posted. Why? Grateful for the little things, Schlatt guessed. Maybe you grew up poor. Maybe.. you were just a good person.

You two were messaging back and forth for a few minutes. He let you know he didn't care about the money. You were a small influencer doing something he deeply respected: what made you happy. Now, it was all on you to get the podcast episode together. He would just sit and chat on it - no leg work needed. Easy money. Or lack thereof.

He went on your youtube. The only thing he kept up with was this. Vlogs, GRWM's (which he didn't particularly enjoy, but he wanted to see what you were all about) VOD's of the lives you deemed genuinely entertaining, recipe videos, everything.

"This chick's still got her whole damn life on the internet, huh?" he snorted in confusion. "The hell?" he glanced down at the very bottom of your channel, starting a year and a half ago. He hadn't seen this before.

"To the people who sparked my inspiration:" 15 min. 4 sec.

"Well, you got my interest sweetheart. I'll bite." he sighed with a small and unintentional chuckle. His finger hovered over the thumbnail of your sweet face.

"Hey guys! This will be one of the first videos I really get out there, but in the event I randomly blow up hehe, I needed to get this out!

I'm starting my freshman year of college soon.. I never wanted to go, but I know it's what I should do. I don't even know what I'll be going for. I don't really know what to do. One of my favorite people has a similar story - except he dropped out to follow his own path. I may end up doing the same. I don't know what my future looks like, but I do know I'm gonna do my best to GIVE myself a future, and to make it authentic. I want a community."

He listened to all 15 minutes intently.

SwapOut/Webcomic/Twitch PSA!

Hi everyone 👋🏻 Zk here >< or Cats, for older followers

So I've been getting back into doing SwapOut again, but I would like to appeal to everyone who reads and loves the comic. Much love to all of you who's still sticking around 🙏🏻💙 But something has also always been bothering me throughout this journey.

As many of us know, we artists do these comics for free (especially fan comics), starting them out of love and taking a LOT of time and energy out of our lives to continue making them.

And it's amazing how many of you come from translations or comic dubs on Youtube, which are also very well-done and take a lot of effort to make, much love to them too. There is a difference, however.

Monetization.

And I'm not asking for pity! I'm appealing for understanding.

Because some comic dubbers on Youtube are able to earn ad revenue from the videos they upload. From the beginning, we artists have given them the permission to dub our works. But we don't receive anything from it, nor do we usually charge them for using our art (against our better judgement).

We let them use our comic pages in their monetized videos for free. And occasionally these videos receive thousands and millions of views, which I imagine gives a decent amount of ad revenue, while the artists themselves don't usually earn anything from their own artwork, nor do we ever want to put it behind a paywall of any kind. (we like reading free comics too so don't worry x|)

... But doing full-colored comic pages for free eventually gets hard to sustain without any income from it, even more so when we need to give our time and energy to other jobs to earn money for a living instead. We legitimately keep going on our comics purely out of love. Truly, we would LOVE to do our own art for a living. There's things like Patreon but it's only feasible if we're also able to produce bonus content or show BTS, and only people willing to spend money for them can help us, and not readers who aren't able to.

And we understand that not everyone can afford to support us monetarily. And that's okay!

But if you love these comics and want to really help us to keep going, there ARE ways you can easily support us for free!

For example, affiliates on Twitch (like myself) are able to earn ad revenue very early on (they must have at least 50 followers, quite a requirement, but still easier to obtain than Youtube's 1000 subscribers).

(my Youtube, btw. not much rn but drop a subscribe?)

But simply put, if the vast majority of readers from the yt numbers visit and stay for ads on the artists' Twitch streams (remember to have adblocker disabled for the site, if any), they'll be making an actual, physical contribution to the artist themselves, at no cost whatsoever. We earn up to 55% from any ads that run on our stream, so the more viewers, the better!

(this is my twitch on average 8 viewers, with a 3 hour stream. again, the more the better!)

(ofc you can also buy subs to watch ad-free and supports me directly, but i'm typing all this to share the free ways people can support their fave creators ✨)

And even if that doesn't work out, I'd be happy enough to see most of you there 🙏🏻💙 I've been treating my streams as work, so I'm striving not to break the streak.

So drop a follow on my Twitch, and catch the streams when you can! They're great if you need company or background noise, and also great for co-working~

copacabana: parasocialite style

hi. the setting and story is kinda inspired by depression era films, though the copacabana started after the code. the song is about a showgirl and a bartender, but what if it was like this…

showgirl - twitch | bartender - yt | line cook - kik

kik admires from afar because she's always hidden in the kitchen and working in a kitchen sucks. she takes a smoke break whenever twitch is on stage and is able to watch through an open door from outside. he also frequents the bar so has some kinda acquaintance with yt and has proximity to twitch aside from watching on stage ig.

kik is a writer bc its the obvious hobby imo. here she writes little notes and leaves them in twitch's dressing room as a way to express herself without actually being outted (i was also thinking this is similar to sending twitch sub messages).

twitch goes to the bar whenever its empty enough to have a drink and talk to yt. of all the people he knows in the nightclub, yt is the only person he thinks could be leaving the notes. so she thinks of him as a sensitive guy who puts up a front.

one night she brings up the notes, and youtube is like. what notes. he thinks the idea of leaving notes is creepy and suggests that twitch might have a stalker, which she didn't consider before. after asking around, twitch concludes that nobody they know is leaving the notes, so it must be the case...

youtube confides in kik at the bar about the situation, talking about how a totally creepy stalker guy is following twitch and leaving weird notes in her dressing room every day!!! he says that he's been watching the patrons, suspecting one of the mob guys to be the culprit and is like "let me know if you got any leads, right buddy."

kik gets self conscious and depressed about it. when the notes stop coming in, twitch is relieved at the prospect of the stalker disappearing, but still misses them bc she thought it was cute :(. yt isn't exactly what they thought he would be. meanwhile, kik begins writing a full on confession, but keeps rewriting it and mulling over it because he really doesn't want it to come off as any more creepy.

that part of the song where rico shows up... idk who it would be, i mean if anything i guess it could be a company like the filmscore one. worldstar or limewire maybe haha. there's probably other mafia members around them. youtube tries to save twitch, but gets scared and hesitates. kik dives in and fights, gets shot.

twitch finds the confession or is given it, maybe kik actually says something to them before dying. maybe they should’ve interacted before this point too idk this isnt a movie pitch. anyway things don't work out between twitch + yt either, and she just forever wonders about kik.

at the same time i really like the idea of kik using a second hand suit to try to pretend they're rich w/ twitch (who is also working class, hence why shes “trying to be a star”). maybe it can be a dream sequence after kik dies. to drive home the doomed yaouri LOL. ok im done here.

I won’t really talk about their life outside of YT/internet so you can decide for yourself whether this is an AU or not, and whether they’re a full-time YouTuber or not.

Victor probably has a cooking channel

scratch that. he absolutely starts as one of those Aesthetic™ cooking channels like Cooking tree, HANSE, Sweet The MI or Nino’s Home.

his channel is called Souvenir because he’s not THAT original you can’t expect everything from a man, people.

he starts off doing these voiceless cooking videos, but after a voice and face reveal at 2 million followers where he cooks something for his followers as a thanks...well, who wouldn’t want more of that sultry voice and glorious face

currently has about 4 million subscribers

Victor’s channel is kind of comparable to Junskitchen, a rather relaxed, casual atmosphere combined with exquisite, refined cuisine

if he feels like it, he does a voice-over, otherwise he just puts calm jazz, blues or r&b over his cooking

HAS done an ASMR special. low-key dislikes the video because he has to whisper voice-overs but people LOVE it

likes making all kinds of foods, but his channel features quite a lot of sweet foods and desserts because a certain dummy has a sweet tooth

a pretty popular feature during quarantine is Cooking w/ Sou, essentially a live stream where Sou (aka Victor) cooks a whole three-course meal while talking to and instructing his followers

his subscribers notice that he doesn’t really need editing to look clean during cooking because his technique is IMMACULATE

by the end, he’s made a themed dinner for two...which always raises a question mark

is Sou single? does he have a roommate? a girlfriend? a kid? WHAT?

after getting your explicit permission, Victor addresses the situation in one of his recent Q&As

“Why do I always make dinner for two? I have a fiancée, she edits my videos in her spare time. She works as a producer. *you wave your hand over the lens* Dummy.” he breezes over it like it’s no big deal even though he’s a tad nervous about exposing something personal like this

his fans blow up the internet, baffled but not entirely surprised that someone like Sou isn’t a bachelor

of course, some leave hate under the video honestly, people who do this to celebs who start dating are HORRIBLE

most subscribers are super supportive of your relationship and thank you for the editing that makes Souvenir such a well put-together channel...also did he seriously call his fiancée a dummy? such a tsundere!

sometimes, you’ll (well, your hands...we’re keeping a bit of privacy here) even be in the end shot of videos, munching away at the carefully plated food

one day, Sou will be making a video titled Wedding Cake.

Lucien

Lucien’s channel LucidLight is a tad bit all over the place

he’s a man of many talents, and his channel reflects just that

i’m not saying it’s a disorganized channel, because the theme is very much there - the uniform theme in Luci’s content is a cozy background, a cup of tea and a soothing thumbnail

i mean that content-wise, his subscribers don’t really know what they’re going to get next...he has a slightly similar style to the YouTuber simon plant

his content varies from interesting science theories to poetry reading sessions to ASMR to painting/sketching to cooking and much, much more

he has an heavenly soothing, smooth voice. it’s his trademark since Lucien doesn’t show his face on camera. ever.

doesn’t have a TON of subs, because his channel is a bit of a niche thing, but I’d say he has 1,2 million subscribers and 400k followers on his added ‘business’ Instagram

he holds a lot of live streams on Instagram/YouTube (i know Moments exists in the game, but that’s more like a Facebook or Twitter kind of app...) and is always shown with just his torso and neck in frame. the lives usually include some poetry reading and generally just having a nice, relaxing chat with his followers. they can last up to 5 hours at once, and YOU know it’s because he doesn’t need sleep like a normal human being, but his fans are still asking questions about his timezone

his subscribers are strangely fascinated by his mysterious, gentle nature and also incredibly obsessed with his large, elegant hands

his ASMR videos are often roleplays of Librarian Lucien or Professor Lucien explaining to people why their rest is important

other times, they include soft affirmations, positive whispers, finger fluttering, hair touching and maybe kissing sounds...

Lucien paints a lot too, although he works primarily with ink and pencil sketches. you’ll find a watercolour or oil painting somewhere, but they’re not his most prominent media

his art videos are usually silent, although he might say something once in a while. there’s always some type of solo instrumental music playing in the background.

he does educational videos about biology and universe theories, but will also have reading sessions about scientific books

not intentionally secretive about your relationship, but he’s not one to mention it either

the first time you appeared on screen was when he was doing another live stream. he’s in his office talking about a play, when you come padding in to bid him goodnight.

“Yes, indeed. Laura’s glass menagerie, as the play suggests, is a symbol of fragility. Laura herself is very frail, but her favourite—”

“Good night, darling.” your soft voice rings through the room. viewers see Lucien’s torso turning a little bit, a hand on his shoulder and a curtain hair appearing from the top of the screen. his hand moves, presumably to cup the person’s cheek, before a soft kiss is heard through the mic. “Sleep tight, my love,” he murmurs.

“Ah. Laura’s favourite glass figurine is the unicorn, which...”

people are in uproar, but Lucien is a strong-willed man who refuses to explicitly announce the nature of his relationship.

his subscribers stop asking after a while, because it really isn’t any of their business, and they now know Lucien’s a taken man

you kind of appear on live streams accidentally a couple more times, but nothing’s really changed about Lucien’s content

the only thing he WILL say, and this is purely to give you credit, is “Ah. The background instrumentals in my art videos are played live. Yes, my lover’s very talented.”

you guys are the mysterious, talented, soft-voiced power couple of YouTube

Gavin

Gavin’s channel probably starts as a joint channel with you, something like Rachel and Jun

it’s relatively obvious from the start that Gavin from Birds&Cops is in a relationship, since you guys have a vlogging-style channel

your channel is filled with gym vlogs, travel vlogs to other countries and a lot of self-defence and sport at home videos.

you guys also post a lot of funny vlogs talking about your day, going on fun dates, of course food vlogs in restaurants, all that stuff...

you often sit down and talk about your life, and maybe you’ll even do a mukbang during it for someone so fit, Gavin does eat a lot of food.

Gavin’s channel didn’t blow up right away, because vlogging channels aren’t exactly unique, and he looks like the typical ‘straight boy with a girlfriend’

but he started gaining followers after people noticed how cute and blushy he acts, and how incredibly respectful and caring he is towards you

for someone who’s kept so secret, you’re actually really involved in Kiro’s virtual persona. you’re usually behind the camera during his In Our Kloset videos and are in charge of extra research regarding topics so he doesn’t spread any misinformation

you also give pointers during filming (of course, these bits are edited out) because Kiro tends to trail off and get distracted when sewing

another way you’re involved is setting up the food during mukbangs. you have a great sense of aesthetics, so all of his videos in general will go through you.

while you like being low-key in Kiro’s life, you don’t want him to feel like he has to protect you from all the hate.

he doesn’t particularly love keeping you a secret either, and it makes him feel guilty because he doesn’t want you to think he’s ashamed of you. he could never be.

you guys give it a good chat over how you’re going to announce it, and he just ends up making a video titled Miss Chips where the two of you sit down and talk to the camera

a few things about chai’s internet fame:

YT:

he started on yt when he was 16 with his best friend Mikhail.

They lived pretty damn close to one another and would play pranks on each other. That’s basically how they got started and would do that.

Chai played guitar and sang and Mikhail told him he ought to upload vidoes.

Mikhail learned to play the piano and worked on keeping the beat / beat-boxing when they didn’t have an instrument so they could still upload some decent videos.

It got pretty popular as they uploaded often between the years of 16 - 18.

Chai was going through a lot of things with his aunt and not doing well in school and feeling pretty hopeless about his future in general, so working on the channel gave him some focus.

They also played video games and did Let’s Plays, mostly rpgs, but sometimes horror games. The jokes were usually on Mikhail’s screaming in Russian as Chai roasted him.

Mostly turned into a channel about music and gaming after Chai returned from his military service.

Insta:

After they joined the army, they ended up switching to Instagram and sometimes Twitter. There was a lot of restrictions on what they could post, but they kept on doing it as much as they could anyway.

Sometimes they got in trouble, but not too much as they were pretty good about adhering to protocol.

A lot of the pictures were just stupid pranks again between the two of them, but also some of Chai singing / playing guitar.

Lots of scenic pictures.

Chai tried to keep them fairly frequent, but sometimes they would have to go radio silent and then would come back in a few weeks.

The longest it went silent was 5 months between Chai’s last assignment and subsequent discharge from the army.

He got a pretty warm welcome across his social media channels from people who remembered him when he posted again.

There were lots asking about Mikhail and Chai refused to answer, and still hasn’t answered.

Twitch

Chai added Twitch after his friends, Lara & Taz, bothered him into streaming on the service. They played a lot of MMOs until Chai decided to get into streaming some more single player games.

He doesn’t use it nearly as often as his yt channel, but he streams almost every other day.

His cross posting between yt and Twitch is what brought him quite a lot of followers. He got into fighting games, but also played more story-based games.

When Twitch started allowing IRL, he started streaming covers on request.

Sometimes when he’s really stressed out or having a bad time with his various physical and mental health issues, he takes a break from Twitch and just records for yt.

There’s a lot less stress without the live aspect.

His Instagram really picked up during his time in the army, and so that helped him gain more popularity on both yt and Twitch later on. He’s not as big as some others, but he has a pretty huge number of subs / followers / etc and gets some money from it. If he put even more work into it, he would have a lot more.

After he pairs up with his DJ friend Lara and they start their music duo, Exx!Plaza, that’s when things really take off.

OK, I don't consider myself a Stan and just enjoy his content but I'm tired to see Dream get dunked all the time on by people who don't all the infos or don't care and just want to hate someone. (sorry if that's misrepresentative but from what I've seen in the notes, that's what I get from you all)

From what I've seen all his last streams brought a lot of haters and people harassing him. Each time he does something, people are scrutinizing each of his action and finding something to insult him. That became even worse after his cheating (maybe accidental, maybe not but he recognized that). He doesn't stream the Dream smp to let more audience to the others members so they have more clout even during important lore stuff and with a lot of people begging to see his pov. When he streams speedruns, oh boi, he can be sure half of the internet is going to have something to say about that. Plus, if you're not in the fandom, it's logic that you don't know but all of them, including Dream, have so many projects and stuff to work on and merch stuff to organize. He also have to play minecraft a lot just to train and stay "one of the best players", search for new techniques to be sure the next manhunt will be as epic and fun to watch as the last. So maybe the lack of time due to work and the knowledge that hate and mean comments will come his way if stream kept him from streaming. He has adhd and that influence him a lot in his actions (how he reacted to the cheating allegations, how he reacts to every allegations really) and, by having adhd myself, I'm pretty sure that if in the end, in my head "streaming = getting hate and stress" I would not stream as much as I want too.

On the donations now, he said in a tweet :

“any money from subs, donations, bits, or otherwise from streaming this month will go to the Trevor project to help LGBTQIA+ youth :D"

“Just a small thing I think would be cool for us to do together, give me motivation to actually stream some too LMAO, happy Pride Month!”

3 things :

1 : from subs. I don't think we know the amount because Dream doesn't have like the number on screen (I think I don't really watch his streams, not that he streams a lot anymore :')) but i' m pretty sure that's a big number since you know... 3 mil of followers on Twitch if I'm not mistaken, 20 millions on YT, the dude have fans who like him and want to show support.

2: or otherwise. Some people theorized that that meant litteraly YT revenue and merch money. If that's true, that's a lot.

And also, important to note but the whole dream team gave 50 000$ from their own to the Trevor project. So I'm sure if you add everything up, that's a pretty good amount of money in the end.

3: the motivation to stream. This has no link to the money but for me, that lack of motivation to stream when he used to refer himself as a streamer and speedrunner shows that streaming is probably stressing him now because of the hate he receives (you know? Like the scientific thingy with the rat and the electric shocks? Sorry I'm losing track). And I'm sure you all know how people with adhd are bad with time and productivity. Sometimes we already have issue doing stuff we want to do so stuff that stress us??? When we can be productive an other way?? Yep, it would not surprise me if every day Dream was like "hmm, I finish that and then I stream" and then "oh, the day is over and it's not a good time to stream anymore, oh well, I have time". But it's all suppositions and not real facts so you take that like you want.

To conclude, a few last things: why the f*** do you spat on donations anyway??? Maybe that amount is not massive but I'm sure the Trevor project will be really happy anyway! And I know that feeling of "that's a small amount :\" because I know an event (the Z event) where they raised millions for charity so every amount ever since seems small BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT, the point is : money goes to charity. It's not a competition, it's something creators choose to do since it's not an obligation and Dream could probably have just sent a tweet like "Happy Pride everyone!! 🌈🌈🌈" and be done with it. But nop, he gave money and even tried to stream when he maybe didn't have the mental energy to do so.

Other thing : Dream is not a conservative or a republican. He had those views from what I understand but guess what : humans change. He's more progressive and tries to learn. And a lot of the (loud) fandom is queer and/or neuro divergent and Dream created a safe space for them. It makes me think of how people still talked shit on Technoblade for the last mcc when the dude helped raise more than 100 000 $ (I think it's way more but I forgot) for LGBTQIA+ charity and gave 26 000$ himself. People change and them? They changed for the better (even if I would argue that Techno is just bad with words because again : adhd, and that he never meant to be mean and cancel culture struck again where it wasn't meant to) (but the post is about Dream). He's nice to everyone in his chat (accepting to say "hi _____" or "_____ rights!!" each frickin time a dono ask) and always tries his best to make the best content.

Tldr; Dream is receiving a lot of hate, hate that probably kept him from streaming, he gave money to charity anyway and tried his best, shitting on the amount of money given to charity is dumb because every dollar counts.

that dream guy saying hell send donations toward lgbt groups for every stream he has during pride month and then not streaming until the last day and having donations turned off is funny like i’m sorrythats actually pretty funny
