GOD WAIT. I’ve straight up mocked Dakota before for having his whole super identity as just his initials and literally putting “Colestyle” on his pants, being like “bro is not trying to keep his identity a secret” but. fuck dude it’s literally… he does that TO keep his identity a secret. or rather, his family a secret.

After all, if he brands himself Cole so openly and clearly, why would you ever stop to question if that’s true? And if you’re absolutely certain he’s a Cole, why would you ever look into or involve yourself with a Damascus?
