#anyway very thematically appropriate as the right job to fight Urianger and Thancred - the two sneakiest bastards (affectionate) :)

How did they feel about competing against Thancred and Urianger?
They (and Y'shtola) are the only scions Frog is certain not only could kill her but would kill her should it come to it (Thancred might have a Pull The Trigger Piglet moment but she trusts him to get there eventually; she'd prefer Urianger because he would Not Hesitate :P) and so, she was genuinely, delightedly surprised by their presence in Tural.
She was actually secretly thrilled that this might end up with a combat tournament between them as the culmination of the trials, and while bullying Bakool Ja Ja in turn was fun but she reckoned wouldn't make her break a sweat, and knocking some sense into Zoraal Ja was work and boring, she was pretty certain the last two standing in the competition would be Wuk Lamat and Koana now she knew who was working for him. And so she was already gripping her daggers a liiiittle closer and thinking about what she knew about the potential weak points in Thancred's defence.
Thancred, of course, performed exactly as expected when he collapsed the tunnel on their group, and the confirmation he was playing the exact same game as Frog absolutely kicked her into high gear and had her ready to GO.
Of course then events unfolded so they actually learned Friendship and Teamwork because this wasn't for them and they already knew all this so it was rather less enriching than they'd have hoped.
I have to assume that post-Rite of Succession but pre-heading to Shaaloni, Thancred and Urianger were heading back to their rooms for some privacy, only for a level 97 ninja to drop silently out of the shadows in front of them and crack a terrifying grin, and when they turned around, Alisaie was behind them blocking their escape, and a playful duel was joined to blow off all the steam they'd been accumulating >:)
