Reading ur religious texts (whichever) can also be fic research if ur totally insane
#genuinely dont think ppl who dont care about religion should bother writing fiction that deals with it#characters themes plots etc#but to this day my fave hxh fic was written by a muslim friend and its palpable throughout the entire story#and then theres tolkien and lewis and that shows too#cant listen to leonard cohen without hearing jewish storytelling#please flavor ur stories with everything you know. u can even use it as an excuse to dig deeper if u need that inertia#anyway this is to say im doing my reading b4 bible study and i know its gonna extrapolate out
