Temptations
Tony Stark x Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: When Tony singles you out at one of his many parties, he doesn't mind that you have a ring on your finger. The question is: do you?
Warnings: 18+ | heavy petting | infidelity/cheating | feminine reader? idk you wear a dress
Word Count: 1.5K
When your husband dragged you out here for work, the last thing you expected was to end up being dragged out to some party or event hosted by Tony Stark himself. And then subsequently left alone after a passive-aggressive whisper-fight when he wanted to go off with the few people he knew from work when you didn't know anyone. And from the looks of it, you weren't sure if you cared to know anyone.
That is, until someone unexpected caught your eye, or maybe you were only seeing him because you had caught his. It was the devil himself, and now technically your husband's boss. That interested stare from across the room had you feeling like a deer in headlights, weak legs and all. You pretended too late not to notice, attempting to go about your business that you never had in the first place. He took it has his opportunity, swooping in on unattended prey.
"I don't think we've ever met," a voice that could only belong to one person right now chased after you. A hand carefully cupped your elbow, drawing your attention to the man behind you. You quickly got lost in that too-polite smile, and for all the sin that you knew hid behind those innocent eyes, there wasn't even a trace.
"No, but I've heard a lot about you," you teasingly warned, shyly looking down for a moment to try and chase away your already nasty thoughts, hopefully with him in tow. His touch drifting its way to your hand didn't help.
"Nothing good, I hope," he retorted playfully, not so subtly tilting your hand and glancing at the ring around your finger. There was no apprehension in those eyes when they looked back at you. If anything, they held a new anticipation that had him holding his head a little higher. There was a power in his confidence that was hard to ignore. One that knew he could take what wasn't his. "Haven't seen you around," Tony started, eyes shamelessly drifting over you as if to prove a point. "It's usually the same crowd."
Maybe it was just code for: I've already slept with everyone here and now it's boring! And you were the perfect candidate. It should have been an alarm bell, but you'd ignored all of the others thus far.
"I just moved here." Even after trying your best to keep your stare in check, you couldn't fight the urge to give him a once-over. And maybe a second, just to take note of the glass of whiskey in his hand and the fingers curled around it. "My husband came out here to work for you, actually," you informed him, knowing he wouldn't have any idea or care who worked under him anyway, and that word had just as little effect on him as your wedding band.
"Oh, you mean the guy that just left you alone at a party?" He ignored the topic you were pushing and steered toward what he did care about with a sarcastic bite under his tone, dark eyes waiting for your reaction and bringing his glass to his lips. You were a bit taken aback.
"You don't have to make it sound like such a bad thing," you reasoned with a smile, keeping your tone lighthearted.
"Is it a bad thing?" He feigned innocent curiosity, but you both already knew his intentions. You thought about the question. It was an invitation to something far more tempting- he would make sure it wasn't a bad thing. You just had to give in to those eyes that were already undressing you and thumb rubbing circles into the top of your hand when they could be doing so somewhere else.
"It doesn't have to be," you said lowly. It must have been the right answer because that polite grin now smirked down at you—the type of grin that found satisfaction in getting up to no good. "Let me get you a drink."
"If you can behave," you joked, letting the hand cuffed around your wrist lead you along. He turned to you with a challenge gleaming in his eyes. "Can you?"
Neither of you behaved.
You lifted yourself onto the cold marble of the bathroom counter when he caged you into it, your legs instantly parting to give him room. You barely even got a good look at him in the dim lighting before lips crashed onto yours. It was a mutually and instantly rough connection, with a bourbon-flavored tongue licking into your mouth and heads tilting almost infuriatingly to find the angle that would have you drowning in him. The hand palming up your back and tangling into your hair only helped that goal.
One long press against your lips and he harshly pulled at your hair, forcing your head back with a whimperish moan and diving into your neck. You regretted that you weren't his to mark up. He generously avoided any conspicuous evidence of your current infidelity with wet open-mouthed kisses and barely grazing teeth. But as disappointing as it was, the hot tongue on your pulse and soft lips working at your jaw were still more than welcome to continue.
Your short dress was definitely a blessing for him, easily able to feel up your thighs and press himself between your legs. You flinched at the quick nip below your ear that just couldn't keep holding back and melted at the hot breath making its way across your cheek. It teased at the corner of your mouth, but cruelly drifted away when you turned to meet him. The grip you had on his suit was now tugging at him, begging him closer again with your lips still parted and pleadingly looking up at him. The apprehension that should have been there earlier gazed back.
But thankfully before either of you could get your thoughts straight, lips finally crashed back to yours, and a hand gripped your jaw to keep you from escaping in case you'd thought about it. You didn't have time to think anyway. You didn't even think about it before you were suddenly working at his belt buckle, almost expertly undoing it alongside that pesky button and zipper. You barely brought his pants down his hips, just enough to have better access to his thick length straining to find the extra room in boxers that were now far too tight. You palmed at him, his grunt shooting straight to your core and curling two fingers around what you could, semi-stroking his clothed erection with your thumb and forefinger. His fingers dug into your thigh, feeling a smug excitement at seeing that flash of gold on the hand desperate to get him off.
You couldn't keep it up for much longer, eager to have him fully in your hand and feel him inside you. But he caught your wrist as soon as your fingers found the band of his briefs, thumb digging uncomfortably into the center of your palm. You quickly looked up at him, worried you'd done something wrong. His expression was unreadable, but hungry eyes lingered over the space between your thighs that was still barely covered by your dress. There was a short sigh when he looked back up. "You have someone else to go home with." Those sharp eyes searched yours as if deciding what to do with you. The words shattered something. He'd nearly made you forget. You weren't sure why he was suddenly taking the moral high ground, perhaps rethinking the thrill of getting caught. You didn't have the strength to even care about scolding yourself about it.
He made up his mind when he finally let go of your wrist, instead reaching into his jacket and taking out a business card and pen he'd been hiding. You instinctively lifted your chin up when he pressed it to the space below your collarbones, gently scribbling his personal number (or maybe even a burner). You doubted he cared enough to carry those around other than for convenience in a situation like this.
"You should call me sometime," he casually suggested, never breaking eye contact when he lifted your dress. There was barely a smirk pulling at the corner of his lips when he pulled at the top of your panties, carefully sliding that card in and letting the lace snap back against you.
He gave your wide-eyed stare a wink before stepping back. Neither of you said another word as he pulled his pants back up; the way he pulled and fastened his belt was almost tortuous, locking you out. He spared you one last glance before checking himself over and leaving you still sitting on that cold marble counter in your hot and bothered daze. You were almost envious of how easily he could keep his cool, going back out as if nothing had happened. He was giving you a way out of whatever he was inviting you into, but let's be honest: you both knew you couldn't leave after being pulled in so hard.

Marvel characters with s/o who has gen z humour !
warnings : swearing, jokes about serious matters, concerned avengers LMAO, fem reader in mind
characters included : tony, nat, thor, steve, wanda, pietro, vision, bucky
tony stank stark —
cue bug eyed expression
tbh he will probably make similar jokes but coming out of your mouth, the person he cares most about
he almost has a— i was gonna say heart attack but he ain’t got one 😟 you get the gist
when you reassure him it was a joke he just barely calms down
clings to your side for a bit after said concerning joke
if asked he won’t admit that he was scared shitless
eventually gets used to it tho
and even agrees sometimes
people are so concerned for the both of you they just watch your interactions like 😮
‘these hoes fr?’
he doesn’t really find your especially concerning jokes amusing per say but he won’t almost faint with worry for you
moral of the story is give the poor man a warning
so he doesn’t almost channel his endgame self bc of you.
natasha romanoff —
SHES FR SO CONCERNED THE FIRST TIME
she’s like : 😶😮😦
“don’t say that.”
cue concerned pouting
and you’re like issa joke bby
but she ain’t convinced
from that day forth she officially declared PDA her thing and was all for it, just to show you how much she loves you
she’ll grow used to it
apologies to other concerned and bewildered people on your behalf
a lot of tired sighs
some hidden laughter
but she’s mostly concerned 😭
don’t get me wrong, bae has a great sense of humour but the gen z level humour is a whole other level
won’t really join in on the joking, she’s gotten used to ignoring it at this point
it’s normal for her after a while so she forgets that others are concerned
but hey? your sense ‘a humour is a part of you so she loves it... kinda.
thor odinson —
NO PLS HE’S SO CUTE
imagine the most horrified, appalled, shocked facial expression
that’s his reaction
exactly that.
“lady y/n why would you ever say such a thing?”
you have to sit him down and explain that it’s just how you speak, you don’t mean it.
... most the time anyway 😁
he’ll tilt his head confusedly
“why would talk of your demise be humorous to any sane creature?”
bitch i can’t he’s so cute
AND SO CONCERNED
he’s like a concerned mom 😭
while always frown at the comments
so you lay off on them as much as you can, not liking the unhappy expressions he makes
the rest of the team find his reactions absolutely adorable tho they won’t say that
but also annoying cuz in the middle of full on blood guts and gory fights he’ll come over and hug you and check you ain’t feeling like throwing yourself in front of one of whatever it is you’re fighting
it’s cute but like-
miss ma’am we’re in the midst of a battle
anyway he’s the sweetest<3
steve rogers —
my guy would be FLABBERGASTED
and really sad :(((
he sketched out your whole lives together you couldn’t just leave him now
“what’s wrong? are you okay? did i do something- i’m so sorry if i did-“
and you’re like “no, no, sweetheart it was a joke.”
but he just frowns
“well it wasn’t a funny one.”
rude 🙄
we could say the same about your bland white boy 40s humour but we don’t do we
anyway-
this humour and him don’t really mix well LMAO
but, for you, he’ll try and come to terms with it bc he would never want to change anything about you
and everyone around you is wondering how this relationship dynamic works
bc for shit half as worse as the stuff you say, steve reprimands other people
but with you
it’s just like a free pass
and everyone else’s like 👁👄👁
‘eXSQUEEZE ME’
and you’re just like 😁👍
you’ve got the man whipped so he don’t do or say shit
not in public at least
wanda maximoff —
my baby is the cutest of them all :(
i love her so much
the first time you make the joke she knows you don’t mean it bc she can literally be your mind
but she still gives you a slightly frown-y look like ‘stop please’
and idk bout youse lot but i’d melt at that look
you smile at her in reply
and she gently grabs your hand and kisses your palm affectionately
OROWJFNBEWIWJG
sorry that was me malfunctioning
:) moving on
i feel like she might even laugh at some of your jokes because she knows you don’t mean them in a serious way
and she gets more clarity from seeing in your mind that it’s literally just how you joke
you & pietro would be besties
and wanda would be the tired but slightly amused mom
she gives you warning looks when you say things death related in public and she can FEEL the shock from other people
hand squeezes in warning
thigh squeezes, too
😩😩😩😩😩
basically wanda is just my favourite. :)
pietro maximoff —
i feel like he would have the same ish sense of humour
he’d laugh at every single one of your jokes.. just cuz he’s a simp
and he’ll join in with the same energy
the two of you are in your own little bubble of gen z humour
and everyone not in said bubble is so concerned 😭
“hey piet what do you think about speeding the both of us off this cliff and ending my suffering?”
“only if as my dying wish i get a cheek kiss, princesa.”
“done deal.”
everyone is is like ‘uhhh guys..’
steve’s sneakily pulling out his written and rehearsed speech about mental health awareness
straight up cackles are always heard from the two of you when you’re around each other
cuz you just get each other’s humour
oh, and you’re around each other all the time
so the non stop laughing drives the team absolutely up the wall
vision —
please my mans would give you the number of a suicide hotline
and you’re laughing like —“it was a joke vision.”
his poor android self don’t understand
and probably will proceed not to understand 😭
you have to thoroughly explain your humour to him for him to like 🤔😯🙂 ‘i understand now’
still tempted to give you the suicide hotline number ngl
it would be okay-ish if the jokes were once in a whole bit it’s like multiple times per day
can you hear his electric brain frying ?
you confuse him a lot
like a lot a lot
but he knows he loves you
and will continue to do so
despite your confusing sense of humour
:)
bucky barnes —
JAMES the love of my life
the last he remembers of society, it was still a majorly sexist time and the girls he knew certainly did not act like the girls now
especially the humour
so this fine ass man is SHOOK
bae fully freezes and is like - 😲
he just looks at you in stunned silence
and you’re like 🤨”what?”
“you- yo- are you okay?”
and you realise what’s the matter and it’s hard not cackle but you plaster a smile on your face and push down the laughter
“yeah, yeah i’m fine, that was a joke.”
“that’s how people joke now?”
you just explain to him it’s your sense of humour and his still in disbelief
will call steve later on that day on the device he doesn’t understand and inform him
the sexc grandpa duo share their shock
never gets used to the jokes
he doesn’t comment tho
he just shakes his head with a small smile
because even tho he doesn’t understand your humour or why you even find what you do funny, he genuinely thinks you’re perfect the way you are
plus if he understood everything about you and you were just normal it would be boring, he’ll admit.

Our Little Moments
Morgan Stark x Imaginary!Reader, Natasha Romanoff x fem!reader.
Warnings: idk what this is, but I wanted to try something different. starts soft but ends a bit angsty.
Summary: After losing Natasha Romanoff to the soul stone, you didn’t have much left, so what happens in the afterlife after snapping your fingers instead of Tony Stark?
Tumblr media
You’re in a deep state of confusion. One moment you’re wandering through the afterlife gardens hand in hand with Natasha, sniffing out different flowers and bathing in each others presence after what felt like many lifetimes for Y/N.
Now, you’re in a familiar bedroom that you didn’t think you’d see again. Toy’s litter the floor, crayons and coloured pencils scattered along the tiny dresser and soft glow of a night light bounces of a small girls sleeping body. You take a few steps forwards, not caring how so, as you know you can’t physically make a sound anyway.
However, you’re proved wrong when you accidentally kick a sparkly pink barbie car, and while you don’t feel anything, the non-existent sound causes the tiny girl to jump awake, who now stares at you in annoyance for waking her up.
Too shocked to say anything, you analyse the girl, noticing how in the period since your passing, her familiar shade of brown locks of hair have grown longer, and a few of her teeth are missing.
“Aunty Y/N?” Morgan mumbles, now a little bit more awoken,  in confusion. “What are you doing? It’s still night time.”
“Hi My little Mockingjay.” You whisper back, tearing up at the thought of just how much you missed her. Her eyes light up at the nickname, Tony always laughed about how Morgan would brag about her Nickname her favourite Aunty gave her. Natasha usually would be upset at such a comment, but everyone knew Morgan had you wrapped around her finger. “How can you hear me? Or see me?”
“Can you come lay down with me? Daddy didn’t stay for long enough.” Morgan asks instead, and you don’t waste a second before you have the brown haired girl cuddling up to you. “And I wished for you!”
“Wished for me?”
“Yeah! I saw a shooting star the other night with Mommy and Happy while getting cheese burgers and I wished for you to come back.” You look down at Morgan as she talks, and you can’t help but melt. While you wished you were still kicking it with the alive gang, as you call them, you don’t regret your decision being with Natasha, and you would much rather Morgan have her father too, as you know if it weren’t you to snap your fingers with the stones first, Tony would have.
“You did?” You ask, too emotional to say anything else.
“I did.” She nods proudly. “But just to me though, I had to share you last time.”
You can’t help but laugh, and you’re grateful only Morgan can hear you. You lay your head on hers, and she yawns quietly.
“Go to sleep Mockingjay, I’ll still be here when you wake up.”
“Goodnight Aunty.”
-
As long hours pass in boredom waiting for the sun to rise, you wander around the Stark Cabin trying to catch up on as much as possible. You smile at the new photos, and tinker with some of Tony’s new gadgets. You even manage to relocate some of his tools, knowing he’d be deeply confused next time he goes to use them.
When morning arrives, you’re standing in the window, watching the lake, imagining the scene of the day all your family gathered around for yours and Natasha’s combined memorial, you know this from the small plaque that sits at the end of the small jetty, that you could see read;
“Y/N & Natasha Romanoff’s forever home.”
It is true, when you and Nat would come to the cabin to visit, you two often spent time somewhere in the lake in a little boat, sometimes Morgan tagging along too. Natasha often joked that if you were an animal, you’d be a Bass fish, just because you loved the lake so much.
“Y/N!!” You hear Morgan calling from upstairs, before rushed feet come bolting down the stairs, when she reaches the bottom, eyes wide in concern, you chuckle. But before either of you can say anything, a half asleep Tony comes trudging down the stairs.
“Morgan, we’ve spoken about this, Y/N isn’t here anymore.” Tony says softy, an you can’t help but smirk at how wrong he actually is. Having not seen him during the night, you take note of his greying hairs and bushy beard, you also can’t help but want to pluck his eyebrows.
“She’s right there!” Morgan laughs pointing directly at where you’re standing by the window still, wanting to prove her dad wrong. Tony looks at Morgan in confusion, looking back between you and Morgan, obviously not seeing the same thing Morgan was.
“Tony did you hit Morgan’s head on the doorframe taking her to bed again?” Pepper jokes, making her entrance down the stairs, just hearing the conversation between her two brunettes.
“No I didn’t.” Tony denies quickly, before defending himself further. “And it was one time!”
“Twice.” Morgan adds in quickly, causing Tony to shake his head in disbelief before making his morning coffee. Morgan sits down at the table as Pepper places a bowl of cereal in front of her, and pulls out the chair next to her and pats it, expecting you to sit down too, and you do.
“They really can’t see me.” You say quietly, looking at Tony and Pepper as they look at Morgan looking at you. You wished they could, you wished you could hug them and tell them how happy you are now, and how they should be too.
“Of course not.” Morgan replies after a few moments, her mouth full, but yet never taking her eyes off you, the chewed up cereal spilling everywhere.
“It’s Offical, Morgan has lost her mind.” Tony snorts, causing Pepper to chuckle with a roll of her eyes as she get’s up to clean Morgan up.
-
It’s a few hours later, You and Morgan sitting in her tent out in the garden after lunch. You’ve spent every moment with the little brunette, playing and laughing and playing pranks on Tony.
“I didn’t want to play with Luna after that day in the sandbox.” Morgan concludes her story, and you can’t help but stare at the girl as she absentmindedly plays with her barbie and rambles on about another story. You have a feeling your time with her earth-side is ending soon, so you want to remember everything about your Mockingjay.
The twinkle in her eyes when she get’s the approval for another juice pop, or the frown she gets in-between her eyebrows when Pepper brushes a little too rough through a knot in her hair. You will never forget her concentration face when working with Tony, one identical to her father.
You wish Natasha was here to see her and your family too. Although you and Morgan had the closest relationship, Nat wasn’t far behind. You and Natasha had always spoke about the day you may both have your own children, and see Morgan love them like she does the both of you.
You and Nat never told Tony, but Morgan had always told you both that she loved you 3002.

Already dating
Word count: 1618
Genre: Probably fluff, idk really
Pairing: Natasha x gn!reader
Warnings: None (let me know if I need to add any)
Request: could you maybe write something with Natasha x male reader (if your comfortable, otherwise you can write it with female or gender neutral) where Natasha blushes when the reader compliments her in front of the team and the team immediately goes crazy and does everything in their power to get them together, only to find out they've been dating all along?
Summary: Steve and Tony (mostly Tony) lock you in an elevator to admit your feelings, not knowing you’re already together.
A/n: Thanks @mochamoff for the request, sorry it took so long to do it! I’m writing this authors note over a week before I’m posting the fic which is unusual because usually I post within twenty four hours of finishing. Anyways it feels nice to be on a break and this fic being posted means I’m officially back which I’m excited for. To be honest this fic isn’t the whole team, just Tony and Steve, but I’m pretty happy with the way it turned out so I hope you all enjoy reading!
Tumblr media
“Next time you have to listen to me in the field Stark.” Steve says as soon as everyone is settled into their place on the jet.
“Actually I don’t, you have absolutely no power over me and as much as you want to be the leader of this team you are not so stop acting like it.” Tony snaps back.
“Someone has to step up and lead.” Steve tells him. “It’s not like you could do any better, you would probably mess things up.”
“Maybe I would, but I would do a hell of a lot better than you are doing.” Tony says. “You like to pretend you’re all high and good and above us but who made you leader? Nobody. You crave control so you took it.”
“I did what needed to be done.”
You watch them snap back and forth at one another a few more times, rolling your eyes at Natasha. She gives you a small smile to show that she’s amused and turns her attention back to your two teammates whose argument has only gotten more and more heated.
“Y/n what do you think?” Tony asks, catching you off guard.
“About what?”
“About who would be a better leader for the team.” he explains. You think for a moment and they both stand as tall as possible (in Tony’s case it isn’t tall at all) and puff out their chests. You scoff, the male ego is so big, even in men who are good and try to do the right thing.
“Neither.” you decide.
“Neither- but the team needs a leader, you have to pick someone.” Tony splutters.
“Just because I don’t think the best leader is either of you doesn’t mean I don’t think the team needs a leader.” you tell him. How one of the smartest people in the world can’t figure that out for himself is beyond you.
“So who would you choose then?” Steve asks, confused.
“Natasha obviously.” you say, smiling at her. The corners of her mouth tug up slightly and even that small movement makes you feel proud.
“No offense, but Natasha???” Tony asks, seemingly outraged. “Why?”
“Well first of all she doesn’t have a fragile male ego like you dumbasses.” you tell them. “But it’s more than just that. She’s smart, both book smart and street smart. She can hack into computers and memorize information easily and knows how to blend in, or to get people to like her. She is more rational than the both of you combined but is also good at making decisions on the fly. She is an excellent fighter and can keep track of strategies and she has connections in and out of the government, with backup plans for almost every situation. Not to mention she has an amazing heart and don’t argue like some other people on our team tend to do. And of course she’s absolutely gorgeous but that doesn’t have anything to do with it.”
You wink at her at the end of your mini speech and are surprised to find her cheeks noticeably pink. She can’t help the smile that creeps onto her face when she thinks over your words.
“Abort mission, Romanoff is blushing and smiling, I think I might be about to die.” Tony states obnoxiously.
“Shut up, you’re just annoyed that she likes me better than you.” Natasha tells him, taking a breath to (mostly) collect herself.
“You’re scary when you’re happy. I haven’t seen you like that before.” he says. “Are you in love with Y/n or something?”
“Shut up.”
Tony smirks. “Make me.”
Natasha takes one threatening step towards him and that’s all it takes for him to back away, stuttering out apologies and mumbling under his breath about how Natasha is too scary to be a team leader. Natasha’s scare tactics do seem to work though because he doesn’t speak to anybody but himself for the rest of the ride home.
As soon as the jet touches down you and Natasha exit, heading straight to the room where you are supposed to be debriefed. Steve tries to follow but Tony grabs his arm to let him know to hold back a second.
“I know I joke but I honestly think they’re in love with each other.” Tony tells him. “I didn’t see it before today but there’s no way Y/n’s speech was platonic, who memorizes lists of reasons why they like their friends, not to mention their flirty wink at the end. And then Natasha, she’s scary but she was acting weird and happy around Y/n.”
“I hate to say this but I agree with you and they would make a cute couple.” Steve says. “But we should probably catch up now.”
Tony takes Steve’s words as an opportunity to stop being serious and become obnoxious again. “Onward dear captain, lead the way fearsome leader, how ever could I-”
“Tony I’m trying to be polite but you are making it very hard.”
---
“Tony no.”
“Tony yes.”
“That is a horrible idea.”
Tony opens his mouth in outrage. “I think it’s a pretty good idea actually.”
“I won’t work.” Steve counters.
“Well I think it well and need I’m the only genius here.” he says smugly.
“You can’t force love!” Steve tells Tony, running his hand through his hair in frustration.”
“Ah, ah, ah,” Tony says, “I’m not forcing love, they are already in love. All I’m doing is giving them a little push.”
“By locking them in an elevator?” Steve asks in a deadpan voice.
“Exactly.”
“You can’t just go around locking people-” Steve starts to say but he gets cut off by Tony.
“Shhhhhhh, hi Y/n, hi Natasha.”
“Hi guys, what are you up to?” you ask, obvious to what was going on seconds before you entered the room. Natasha eyes them suspiciously because they are acting weird, holding their bodies stiffly, which means they are hiding something.
“We were just about to head down to the training room, want to come?” Tony lies smoothly while Steve shakes his head in the background.
“That sounds good,” you reply, “you want Tasha?”
“Okay.” she agrees, still eyeing both of them, Tony in particular suspiciously.
“Great!” Tony says and starts to walk towards the elevator and the rest of you follow him, Steve trying to convince himself that going along with Tony’s plan is doing no harm.
“Ladies first.” he says, stepping off to the side and giving a big flourish with his arm. It’s weird but then again Tony is always weird so you don’t think too much of it, stepping into the elevator. As soon as Natasha follows you in he orders Jarvis to close and lock the doors and to prevent the elevator from moving and then pulling up a screen so he can watch you.
“You better run when I get out of here!” Natasha yells. “You too Steve!”
“You’re going to thank me later.” Tony says. “Steve, why don’t you explain why we locked them in.”
“Um,” Steve hesitates, not knowing where to start, “well we think that you two need to talk about, um, feelings.”
“Feelings?” you ask, confused, while realization dawns over Natasha’s face.
“Um, yeah feelings.” Steve responds, feeling very awkward and hoping this works so he didn’t do all that for nothing.
“They don’t know we’re dating and they’re trying to get us together.” Natasha leans over and whispers in your ear before straightening back up and talking to Tony again. “I didn’t take you for such a romantic Stark.”
“What? I’m not- romantic me? Pepper says I’m the least romantic guy she’s ever been with.” he splutters, trying to regain his masculinity.
“And that is not a compliment.” you tell him. “But for some reason even though ‘you aren’t romantic’ you wanted to get us together.”
“Maybe I did,” he says. “but you have to admit that my plan is amazing and it's totally working.”
Natasha snorts “What part of this conversation screams working to you?”
“Well you haven’t killed Y/n yet and neither of you have denied your feelings so it’s obviously working. I expect a thank you speech dedicated to me at your wedding.” He says arrogantly.
“There will be no speech.” Natasha tells him.
“But there will be a wedding?” He asks, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively and Steve has to look away because it looks ridiculous.
“Hopefully.” you say, teasing Tony with your vagueness but also making Natasha smile as she thinks about what that might be like.
“Told you my plan would work.” Tony brags to Steve before telling Jarvis to release you from the elevator.
“Your plan sucked.” Natasha tells him. “We were already dating dumbasses.”
She grabs your hand and pulls you out of the room as Steve and Tony stare after you, shocked.
“Did you know about this?” Tony asks, looking at Steve with suspicion.
“Not at all.” Steve answers, his mouth still half open. In hindsight it should have been obvious. Of course Natasha wouldn’t want to be open about her dating life right away, she likes her secrets way too much.
---
“You owe me fifty bucks Y/n.” Natasha tells you once you’re out of earshot.
“Seriously?” you whine.
“You said they already knew but they didn't, so pay up.” She holds her hand outwards expectantly and you both laugh.
“Later.” you tell her. “There are more important things to do now.”
“Hmm, like what?” she teases gently, taking a step closer to you. Your breath catches because you still can’t believe you are dating someone this beautiful. You match her halfway and pull her into a deep kiss, only pulling back when you need to breath.
“This.”

(no) rest for the innocent
summary: Tony wasn’t even on trial, but the jury found him guilty and he couldn’t disagree.
a/n: idk last night i was thinking about tony dealing w survivor’s guilt after endgame (and IW) so i threw this together, tw for mention of death and implied thoughts of suicide
“Good evening, Doctor.” FRIDAY’s warm, pleasant voice always reminded Stephen of home and cinnamon scented candles. “How was your trip?”
“Too long for a meeting that could’ve been handled over email. Or through carrier pigeon, as Tony would say,” Stephen replied as his cloak sailed off down the hall.
He washed his hands carefully, drying them on an Iron Man dish towel that Peter had given them as a joke wedding gift before putting the kettle on.
As the water was boiling, he noticed a covered plate on the kitchen counter. There was an obnoxiously orange piece of paper in front of it, which made Stephen smile. Tony always left him little notes on purposefully electrifying paper, that way they were easy to find.
The sorcerer’s smile only widened as he read the note.
Steph—
I wasn’t sure when you’d be back, but I decided to make you dinner anyway. But not because I’m missing you and wanted to surprise you, I just accidentally cooked too much. You know how that happens sometimes and you just end up with an ungodly amount of chicken parm? Life’s funny like that.
Anyway, I’m in the lab. I had some good ideas earlier and I wanted to start them while I still felt productive. Welcome home sweetheart, and if you go to bed before I do (because you probably will, you responsible asshole you), sweet dreams and goodnight.
Love, Tones
PS— Orange you glad you met me? … don’t answer that, I just couldn’t help it and had to write that down.
Stephen rolled his eyes fondly. “Fri, will you tell Tony that even though he’s not funny, I’m very glad I met him?”
FRIDAY was quiet for a few moments before responding. “Boss says, quote, ‘fuck you Gandalf, I’m hilarious,’ unquote.”
Stephen smiled, heating up his meal before sitting down to eat. He flipped through a magazine while he ate, FRIDAY turning on some soft jazz music as background noise until Stephen cleaned up and left the kitchen. After a refreshing shower, the sorcerer found himself in his most comfortable pjs and slippers as he walked through the house. Stephen wasn’t sure if he was going to bed yet, but he wanted to see Tony (and maybe he wanted a kiss or two or even three).
The music in the lab automatically lowered when Stephen shut the door behind him, and Tony looked up with an expression that could only be described as tired.
Actually, he looked exhausted. Weary. Barely holding himself together. Stephen wasn’t a thesaurus, but very concerned about his husband.
Tony was trying to smile, but he seemed too exhausted to do that and just gave up, not saying anything as Stephen sat beside him.
“Hi.” Stephen leaned over and softly kissed his husband’s temple. “Thanks for cooking for me, you didn’t have to.”
Tony shrugged. “I had a lot of energy earlier, and I accidentally cooked way too much. Maybe it was intentional, you know I’d take any excuse to go out of my way for you.”
His words said one thing, but his tone betrayed him. His voice was brittle, hard, and almost staticky. Stephen thought he sounded like a rusted hinge that was trying not to cry out for repairs… or maybe that analogy only made sense given where they were.
Stephen kissed him again as Tony sat back at his desk, closing his well-used sketchbook. “You alright?”
“Yeah. Tired I guess.” Tony sounded as unconvinced as Stephen felt.
“Come to bed with me,” Stephen offered. “I’ll bore you to sleep by telling you about the meeting.”
Tony laughed hollowly. “That bad?”
“I don’t know how to describe it, but it was a waste of time. Even Wong was bored, and he watches the Antiques Roadshow remake for fun,” Stephen replied. He yawned and leaned against Tony’s side.
“I see what you’re doing,” Tony murmured, trying to be lighthearted. He was just feeling some kind of way right now, he felt serious and was so endeared by his husband that it hurt.
“What am I doing?” Stephen asked, resting his head on Tony’s shoulder.
“Being cute and sweet so I’ll go to bed and let you be the big spoon,” Tony accused. “And maybe I just really fucking need a hug, but… it’s working.”
Stephen shifted and pulled Tony into his arms, holding the mechanic close as he went lax.
“My Boss Is Singing Closing Time Protocol please, Fri,” Tony mumbled.
“Goodnight Boss, goodnight Doctor,” the AI replied, beginning to run the lab’s standard closing protocol.
“Portal?” Stephen asked. Tony was getting better with going through portals, but some days were harder than others. Stephen didn’t know what tonight would be like and opted to ask, selfishly wanting to make sure Tony got some rest as soon as possible.
He was so out of it by that point that Stephen wasn’t sure if Tony registered the question, but he nodded slowly and trusted Stephen to lead him through it and into their bed.
Despite “resembling a sloth clinging to a tree bough,” (Tony’s words) Stephen was intuitive and knew when not to hug Tony. Even when he was asleep, if Tony woke up thrashing or fighting against something in a dream, Stephen let him go.
Tonight was a bit different. Stephen wasn’t brought to the edge of reality by Tony thrashing in their bed or accidentally tangling himself in their sheets, so he assumed everything was fine. That was until the sorcerer hugged his husband closer, still mostly asleep and just following his instinct, and Tony outright begged Stephen to let go of him. He wasn’t quite awake, but Stephen backed off immediately and heard Tony trip over his own feet as he left the room. The sorcerer fell asleep again after that, trying to stop the sound of Tony’s broken plea from cementing itself in his memory. When Tony climbed back into bed some time later, Stephen was stirring a little bit more. Tony hid his face in Stephen’s collarbone and said nothing, his breathing still slightly erratic.
“Sorry if I woke you up,” he mumbled.
“Don’ be,” Stephen replied, his voice unsure whether or not to wake up.
“Will you hold me again?” Tony asked pleadingly, his voice almost imperceptible.
Stephen wordlessly obliged, kissing the top of his head. “Whatever’s bothering you… you can talk to me about it. When you’re ready. And you don’t have to, but I’m here for you.”
Tony nodded. “It feels like too much right now. What I’m thinking about, I mean. I need time to process, I guess.”
“Okay,” Stephen said simply. “But I’m here for you whenever.”
“I know. I love you,” Tony replied.
Stephen began to trace soothing patterns on Tony’s back. “Love you Tones.”
++++
Tony didn’t seem any more rested the next day, but his confident Tony Stark™ pose seemed natural. He’d easily be able to fool people who didn’t know him as well as his family did. So it was a “fake it until you make it” kind of day, and Tony’s energy was on a strict schedule. There was only so much he could take today, and if his teammates wanted to call him selfish then that was their choice.
It would just go in one ear and out the other, especially this late in the day and after brutal team training. Tony was close to skipping the meeting, but a cutting remark in the hallway made him change his mind. Why did they always act like it was breaking news when Tony needed to step back from something anyway? He was just as human as anyone else, and the world was happy to throw responsibilities on his unenhanced, steady shoulders just because he was a natural caretaker.
The arguments about Tony’s quiet, withdrawn demeanor started two minutes into the meeting. Stephen was ready to defend his husband as soon as they got to the conference room, Tony collapsing into a chair and leaning his head against the cool metal of the table.
He didn’t want to talk today, and Stephen didn’t want him to.
“It’s not nap time, Stark.” There was a small hint of fondness in Natasha’s cold, clipped voice.
Tony was already regretting his decision to show up, wishing he hadn’t told Stephen again and again that he was fine. He wasn’t, and they both knew it. Everyone knew it, but Tony knew better than to advocate for himself in front of his… colleagues.
“I don’t even remember what we’re meeting about,” Tony muttered, looking up enough to address whoever was talking to him.
Rhodey took a seat beside Tony, encouragingly patting his back. “You good?”
“I’m fine, Honeybear,” Tony replied. He was sitting between his two favorite people, and that helped him feel a little more grounded. “I just didn’t get a lot of sleep last night.”
Someone scoffed. “I don’t think anyone’s slept right in months. And don’t say you haven’t slept in years, Stark. We don’t need a story about how everything you’ve ever done has led to years of sleepless nights. We know already. Put it in a book or something and make the team more money so I can have better arrows.”
Stephen was two seconds away from dropping the archer into the Dark Dimension, or flipping a table. He wasn’t sure how to handle the man yet, still taken aback by the rudeness and stupidity of his comment. “Barton, what the fuck—”
“Steph, don’t bother with him,” Tony said. He stood up, forcing his tiredness into a corner and giving his coworkers a confident glare. “Pardon me for giving it my all and being a bit tired as a result. Now I’m going to get an ice pack for my shoulder and maybe a cup of coffee. Does anyone want anything?”
“I’ll take a—”
“Get it yourself, you know where the kitchen is.”
For dramatic effect (and moral support), the cloak landed on Tony’s shoulders and billowed out as he left the room. He returned with the aforementioned ice and coffee, and a mug of tea for Stephen.
“You didn’t have to do that sweetheart, but thank you,” Stephen said appreciatively.
“That’s why I wanted to,” Tony replied. He relaxed a little into his chair, starting to believe he could get through the meeting.
Then, like clockwork, Clint opened his mouth to complain.
“Why did you bring him tea and nothing for the rest of us?” He whined.
“Doesn’t Tony do enough for you?” Stephen asked, innocently taking a sip of his tea. It was his afternoon green tea, made exactly the way he liked it.
Tony was always so sweet and attentive with his loved ones, it warmed Stephen’s heart. The sorcerer stifled a laugh as Rhodey poured half of Tony’s coffee into his own empty mug.
“Thank you,” the colonel said impishly. “Consider the roommate tax paid for this month.”
Tony tried to smile at the old inside joke, but Stephen noticed that it fell flat.
“Are we done with the interruptions? We need to talk about what’s out there. We don’t know if Thanos is the exception or the rule, and—”
Tony stopped listening. Clint’s snootiness was doing his head in, but the idea of another threat, another thing, another colossus he’d have to conquer and survive if his luck had anything to say about it… that was the breaking point.
Tony didn’t have a good relationship with luck. He didn’t really believe in it, but apparently it believed in him. Because Tony was lucky. It was true that he was lucky in meeting his husband, his friends, and his family, but this was a different kind of luck. Tony was intelligent and skilled, shrewd and savvy, and there was virtually nothing he couldn’t do or solve, except for one thing.
He was constantly lucky, constantly cheating death.
And he didn’t realize that he was hyperventilating, didn’t recall dropping his head into his hands. He didn’t recall that he’d just walked out in the middle of the meeting after a minute, didn’t realize that he was home when he opened his eyes.
Tony was home, in his spot on the couch in Stephen’s library. Stephen was sitting beside him, quietly watching a documentary or something like that. Tony was laying down, his head in Stephen’s lap with the cloak draped over him like a blanket. The crimson fabric continued to cling to him as he sat up, further proving Tony’s point that Levi liked him best, but he wasn’t in the mood to banter now. He just appreciated the support and the warmth of his sorcerer and their shared, sentient blanket.
With some hesitancy, Tony leaned over and rested his head on Stephen’s shoulder. They locked eyes for a minute, Tony’s gaze deliriously bright and vacant.
Stephen didn’t know what to say or do to make the man trembling in his arms feel better, but started by hugging him closer and softly stroking up and down his spine.
“I’m sorry,” Tony whispered, lowering his head and hiding against Stephen’s chest.
“No apologies,” Stephen reminded him. “I don’t want or need them, and you don’t have to explain yourself.”
“I have to give a good reason,” Tony said, his voice beginning to shake. “Everything I do needs a reason.”
“Why? Says who?” Stephen asked. He was more thinking aloud, half expecting Tony to leave the question unanswered.
For a while, he did. He just sat, furiously trying to blink back tears and gather his thoughts as Stephen held him protectively.
“Sometimes I think about… things,” Tony began vaguely. “And people. And places. I guess I just like nouns.”
At this point, he didn’t even know if he was trying to deflect or just tell a joke, but his attempt at humor fell flat. He tried to force a laugh, but halfway through it turned into a painful sob. He cried harder with each breath, ignoring the ache in his chest. Tony barely listened when Stephen encouraged him to breathe, but eventually he gave into his exhaustion and listened to his lungs.
His stupid lungs, which apparently were just as stubborn as his brain.
“I can’t keep doing this,” Tony whispered. “I shouldn’t have survived Afghanistan, New York, Sokovia, Siberia, or Titan. I can’t keep cheating death, Stephen. I don’t want to. I don’t want to be lucky and survive when the damage I’ve caused, the damage I claim full responsibility for, has taken so many lives. I don’t want anyone else to get hurt or killed for me.”
Stephen pressed a soft kiss to his hair, feeling Tony’s guit and fatigue as if it was his own.
“I don’t want to do this,” Tony repeated. “I’m probably just spiraling or being needlessly selfish, but  I… I don’t know.”
“You’re taking on too much responsibility where you don’t need to,” Stephen said. “I know that’s easy for me to just say from the outside, but you aren’t the only Avenger. It’s about time the team, if you can even call them that, takes accountability for their actions and stops bulldozing you with their problems. You aren’t selfish, Tones. You’re tired and overworked, and you deserve a break. You deserve to breathe, to just exist without feeling like you have to look over your shoulder or justify your every step.”
“I don’t think I know how to even do that anymore,” Tony replied. “And I don’t deserve it.”
“You do,” Stephen argued. “And rest assured I’ll keep telling you that. And I’ll keep telling you how much I love you, because I really do.”
Tony smiled sadly, trying to press himself closer to Stephen if that was even possible. “I love you too.”
He was starting to settle down, soothed by a flurry of soft kisses in his hair and the gentle brushes up and down his spine, when FRIDAY quietly spoke up. She almost sounded remorseful.
“Mister Parker is requesting one or both of you in the lab, whenever it’s convenient,” she began. “And he’s asked me to assure you that it’s nothing major.”
Tony sighed, sitting up again. “I’ll investigate.”
Stephen shook his head. “No, let me. I’ll tell Peter that you’re resting, and he’ll understand.”
“I don’t want him to think I don’t care,” Tony whispered.
“He would never think that. You know how he gets about making sure you take care of yourself, and Peter knows with certainty that you care about him. Our son is much more mature than the Avengers,” Stephen replied.
“I still feel bad,” Tony said.
“I know. I can promise him Thai food if that’ll make you feel better?” Stephen suggested, half jokingly.
“It actually would,” Tony admitted. “FRIDAY, will you schedule a Thai food delivery for 6:30pm please?”
“Scheduled,” she replied simpy. She still sounded apologetic for disturbing them right as Tony was falling asleep, but maybe Stephen imagined that.
The sorcerer stood up gracefully, covering Tony with another blanket as the cloak wrapped a bit tighter around him. “Look after yourself and relax, or get some sleep. No one’s expecting anything from you right now Tones, alright? I love you.”
Tony nodded, a little smile on his face as Stephen kissed him again. “Love you.”
He really wanted to sleep. He actually put effort into falling asleep, which was something he never thought he’d do, and of course sleep didn’t come easily. Sleep never came easily, but the memories did. It was all too easy for Tony to get caught in a thought stream, whether he was planning a surprise, inventing, or remembering unpleasantries. Today he was overwhelmed by guilt, readily convincing himself that he was a selfish failure like Howard Stark and his teammates liked to say. It was too easy to get lost in their ire and wanting to please everyone, and Tony had given up so much of his agency just to try and make other people happy.
It was exhausting, and he didn’t even feel like he’d succeeded at that.
The mechanic started tearing up again as he continued to think in a circular pattern, faintly aware of the Cloak trying to comfort him. It was a sweet, welcome gesture, and Tony let it happen and let himself cry. He was still laying there in tears when Stephen came back in half an hour later.
“Pete says he hopes you feel better,” Stephen said, returning to his spot and pulling Tony close. “And I told him to just go ahead and eat whenever he’s hungry, or when the food gets here.”
Tony just nodded, feeling relieved and supported in Stephen’s arms again. He nodded again, as if trying to shake the unending self-deprecating thoughts from his head, before saying anything. “Sounds good.”

How the Avengers would react if you flinched when they tried to touch you..😭
I have been dealing with the aftermath of domestic violence for a couple years now, and with intense PTSD and panic disorder, this was so calming to think about tbh.
Tony Stark: Oh gods, he would notice, with immense distaste. He would probably hesitate to touch you afterward, but he would be gentle about talking to you about it, and would reassure you over and over that you’re safe, and that nobody will ever hurt you again. He may also ask for addresses and names, just because he’s..well, he’s Tony. He’s got the power to do crazy shit. And if he cares about you, can you imagine what he would do to someone that hurt you? My sweet man.
Steve Rogers: He would be horrified that you would ever think he would hurt you. He would probably tell anyone else in the room to get lost and sit you down and just hold you, telling you that you’re safe with him always, that nobody will ever hurt you again. He wouldn’t push you to talk about it, but if you wanted to, he would listen. He’s not one to reveal his anger as easily as Tony or Buck, but it would break his heart to hear about it, that’s for sure. He would leave the killing to Bucky and Loki tbh, but he might join in too. Maybe.
Bucky Barnes: He might be hurt, physically, that you would think he would hurt you, but he wouldn’t be surprised at the action. He was a scary guy, at one point or another, but he would gently pull you in against him and squeeze you so tight you couldn’t breathe, maybe even sway with you for a while until you felt better. And then, he’d blow up, ask who the fucker is, where they are, and wouldn’t take no for an answer. He would be on a death mission with only one thing in mind, and that’s keeping you safe. That’s all he cares about.
Thor: Honestly, he might not catch on at first, because he probably doesn’t see domestic violence as much at home, but after you explain it to him or get emotional, he would want to understand what he did wrong. He doesn’t seem like the type to push you, but he does seem like the type to go in to hold you, maybe run his fingers down your back, and just kinda curl himself around you protectively. He would probably bring you to get food too, and maybe ice cream to cheer you up.
Loki: OKAY so the tough one. On one hand, he may understand why you might flinch around him, but boy would he explode once you told him it wasn’t from him, but from..someone else. Holy shit he would be a time bomb. Who is it? Where are they? Do they have a DEATH WISH? He would slide those daggers out like nothing and call Bucky to assist him. He’s out for fucking blood. He would probably leave Thor to babysit you in the meantime lol.
Bruce Banner: Soft boy would be HORRIFIED. He would get it because the green guy can scare people sometimes, but of him? Oh no. He would bring you somewhere quiet and make you a cup of tea and just kinda talk to you gently about it, rubbing your shoulder when it gets tough. He’d probably also put a movie on afterward and just hold you, just to remind you that you’re safe with him. He’s definitely a snuggler.
Natasha Romanoff: She would be joining Bucky and Loki. Someone HURT YOU? Death, on the spot. Of course she would want to understand what happened and if you’re alright, and she would probably just talk to you one on one if you needed it, but she would give you her full attention. And then afterward, she would be joining those boys on a death mission. Those three, as a group, with Wanda too? And CAROL? I mean, RIP whoever decided to lay a hand on you.
Clint Barton: Oh he would be HARDCORE concerned. What do you mean you’re gonna flinch when he raises his arm? Why? He would bring you in the kitchen and force you to talk to him about whatever the hell that was while he makes you a grilled cheese. I mean, what kinda sick fuck hurts someone like that for no singular reason? He’s such a dad, but he’s got your back, always.
Wanda Maximoff: I’d tell her literally all my deepest secrets. She would never take anything personally, but she would be upset that someone blatantly hurt you. Why would they hurt this small, ordinary human? Absolutely not alright. She would hold you for however long you wanted and then make you some good food for dinner while she made you laugh. When you went to bed, though..like I said, she would be joining the death party. Sorry.
Pietro Maximoff: PIEEEEEETRO. He would be so confused, and unsure of what to do, but he would probably blatantly ask you if you wanted the person to die like it’s a normal question, like “hey what’s for dinner?” Yeah, like that. He would make a big blanket fort with snacks and soft blankets and hold you until you fell asleep, and wouldn’t sleep a wink, keeping watch over you the entire night. He’s ✨soft✨.
Vision: He would try so hard to understand what the fuck is going on, but his mind would have a hard time processing why the fuck some idiot would ever hurt you. Why? For what purpose? Even after explaining it, he would probably just be infuriated, no matter what you say. How could they do this to you? Those assholes. He would probably offer a hug, or something to eat to make you feel better, but he would be plotting their demise. Guaranteed.
Carol Danvers: She would start a full out war, given the circumstances. How dare some scummy human being hurt you? She would show them, and make it the worst day of their lives. No matter how much you tried to calm her down, she would be out for blood. No way this woman would NOT be are you KIDDING? She’s too spicy for that.
Sam Wilson: He would also be another one I would tell literally anything to. He would be incredulous that you would ever think he would hurt you, but man would he pay attention when you told him. All that man would do is pull you into his arms, hug you as tightly as he can, and tell you everything is alright now, he would never let them hurt you again, and that he loves you. Sammy just seems like a guy that would tell you he loves you during something traumatic like that.
Doctor Stephen Strange: Another one that wouldn’t quite know how to react. He would probably be confused, at first, and then deeply concerned for you once he caught on, and would probably ask to speak to you about it whenever you were ready. He would probably mention that you can come by later to his room to talk about it when everyone else is asleep so it’s a calmer atmosphere, and would probably rub your shoulder as he passes you, but that’s it. And that’s enough.
Peter Parker: My devastated little bean. He would be WILDLY apologetic, thinking he did something wrong, and just saying he’s sorry over and over and wondering what he did wrong and how to fix it, but then when you explain, he wouldn’t be so..apologetic. Peter would probably order a pizza and pull you onto the couch with him and let you choose a movie, and just let you curl in against him. He would probably fall asleep with you, too, while Tony has to pay for the damn pizza.
T’Challa: Um..tbh I feel like he would be furious, in a plainly way to put it. That guy has venom in his eyes every time he’s on screen, and this wouldn’t make him feel any better. Of course he would move to comfort you first, but that man is a whole king. You think he wouldn’t do something about it? Say goodbye to whoever hurt you. He would take them off the map.
Scott Lang: He would probably joke about it at first and think you’re just messing around, but he would be absolutely devastated when you get upset over it. He would be HORRIFIED that he upset you, and would probably try desperately to talk to you about it, or try to make you feel better. He would probably end up getting knocked out by Sam or Bucky, but he would welcome it after that lol.
Valkyrie: She would not probably comment on it until you guys were alone, because she might think it’s a private matter for you and she would respect your boundaries, but if you got seriously upset on the spot she would probably pull you into a hug and yell for everyone to get the fuck out. She wouldn’t make you talk about it, but she would know when you needed to be alone, so she would make sure you got the time you needed. If you needed her afterward, she would be there.
Groot: I AM GROOT. That is all.
Rocket: A lot like Antman and Thor, he would probably joke about it or think you weren’t being serious at first, but after you were, man he would be upset for you. He would probably comfort you by telling you jokes to get you to laugh, or something, but in his mind he would probably be plotting the end of a pitiful human being far away.
Gamora: She wouldn’t let that shit go, no sir. She wouldn’t pester you, but man she would want to know what the hell that was about, and what stupid, God forsaken bastard decided that you were a punching bag. Not on her watch. Be prepared to tell her, because she won’t let anything like that go. I don’t make the rules.
Peter Quill: Idk if he really knows how to be serious at..serious times..maybe? Anyway, he would make sure to never move that sharply around you again, and wouldn’t say anything about it unless you wanted to talk to him about it. He might ask the others what was going on with you, but he’s not the type to show that he cares about a lot of shit. Sorry, Quill.
James Rhodes: He is such a dad lol. He would be taken back by the action, don’t get me wrong, but he also wouldn’t be one to let it go. Who is it? What happened? He might not be aggressive about it like the others, but he would want to know that they are long gone now, and he would remind you that you’re safe.
Nebula: Ah shit, what did she do wrong now? That’s it. Haha.
Baron Zemo: Who the fuck was it? Who the FUCK hurt you? Oh no, Zemo would be out for blood. He wouldn’t need a team, or partners in the quest, nah, he would be going alone and would scare that bastard in their beds in the night. DING DONG, it’s the boogeyman, I’m here to end you for your bullshit choices.
Hope van Dyne: This badass Queen would not back down from asking you about what was wrong. Did someone in the compound hurt you? Did she have to kill them? But when you tell her, she would be horrified for you, and offer to hurt the person that hurt you. An eye for an eye, right? Up to you.
Drax: Do they need to die? He would do it for you. No charge.
Mantis: She would read you like an open book the second you flinched, so don’t try to deny it, or say that it was just a reflex. She would probably have a detox night and make nachos with you and throw on some comedy movie she heard about from Rocket. She wouldn’t let you hurt on your own. She would be there.
Wong: UGH what a GUY. He would probably make you some soup because it’s the ultimate comfort food and talk about it together. He wouldn’t get agitated, or force you to open up too much, but he would offer his company and his attention as long as you wanted it.
Okoye: She would probably be with T’Challa tbh. Sorry. She would be out for some tucking vengeance.
Shuri: She would be the one to bring you along with her somewhere private, wrap you in a blanket, and hold your hand as she urged you to tell her what the hell that was. She would be one of the best at comforting, and afterward she would show you around her collection of inventions to make you forget about that stupid, repulsive human being.
Pepper Potts: Someone..HURT YOU? Oh no. She would go right to Tony with it and demand that the two of them do something to avenge you. There is absolutely no way that she would let that slide. She would also make you your favorite food, some warm cookies, and get a bath going for you to help soothe you.
Korg: Dude is made of rocks. ROCKS. You expect him to understand what the fuck is going on? He would probably get a video game going to let you release some anger and ask Thor for help in the meantime.

Hi love. I adore your work. Can you write for the prompt “You need to get out of there!” for stevetony? I’m a sucker for za *angst* and I can already imagine tiny Stark being his stupid adorable self and getting in trouble.
hiii thank you!! idk how this ended up being 3k words, but i hope that you like it!
It happens so quickly that Tony doesn’t even have time to really process it. One moment things are as close to fine as they can be in the middle of a fight. He’s close to breaking through the system, just a few keystrokes and a minute away from being able to stop the near army of robots right from the source. The next is filled with blaring alarms and dust starting to fall from the ceiling, though he hardly notices through the laser-focus. He hears Steve’s voice through the comm line in his ear and rolls his eyes, but doesn’t respond.
“Iron Man, you need to get out of there!” Steve says again, firmer and louder, and this time Tony opens his mouth to tell him off for being distracting right when he’s almost done, but the words die on his tongue at the first crashing beam.
All he actually manages are a few ineloquent curses muttered under his breath while he scrambles to finish his task. Adrenaline and fear are coursing through him in equal parts, but the fear isn’t for himself. It’s for what happens if he doesn’t do this. If the building takes him out before he can take out the enemy, leaving the other five with far too many opponents to handle on their own. He can see it now - their blood on his hands because he wasn’t fast enough. Just one job to do and he couldn’t do it right.
There’s more shouting on the comm line, more than just Steve, but Tony can’t take the time to listen to it. The floor is shaking beneath him, and the dust in the air has accumulated to cloud his vision. He’s thankful he has the foresight to ventilate the suit through numerous filters, otherwise it would be getting hard to breathe.
There’s flashing on the monitors in front of him, and he knows he’s done it by the way everything goes quiet for just a second, then explodes back into sound. He hears the relief in Clint’s voice, followed by the barely concealed panic in Steve’s as he urges him to get out of the building yet again.
Tony powers up the suit to go back out through the shattered window he came through in the first place. No longer focused on dismantling the system, he realizes that the window doesn’t exist anymore. The wall has collapsed on itself, the left side of the room blocked off with rubble. His initial scan of the building showed another floor above him and two below, joined only by one set of stairs, but those were off to the left, too. The suit could probably make it through the wall directly, if he got enough power going. Might break a bone or two, he thinks, but with no other way out, he’ll take the risk. As he scans the walls again for the weakest point, he says into the comm, “Be out in a sec. Maybe, uh, get ready to catch me.”
Whatever Steve says next comes through layers of static, cutting in and out until the only word Tony can make out is his own name. It’s the last thing he hears as he turns up the repulsors to full speed and aims for the center of the wall.
______________
All things considered, it could have gone worse. He has a concussion that makes him feel dizzy and a couple of large gashes in his abdomen from where the suit had caved in just a bit that required more than a few stitches. Two broken ribs and a dislocated shoulder top it off, but he doesn’t need to be in the hospital for more than a day. A precaution to make sure his concussion doesn’t turn into something worse.
He tells himself that the short stay is why Steve didn’t show. Natasha was the first to come, with her own fresh bandages on her arms and stitches in a jagged cut on her forehead. She told him about the end of the fight from the outside, and the way all the robots suddenly came to a stop, just like Tony predicted when he told them his plan for going into that building in the first place. Clint and Thor come together after. Their loud voices make his headache worsen, and the laughter makes his ribs ache, but he can’t bring himself to be upset about it. Pepper ends up kicking them out when she arrives and notices that he winces a little every time Thor speaks. Bruce is last, arriving the next morning after he’s recovered from those few hours as the Hulk, but still looking tired from it. He sits with Tony while the doctor tells him about all the things he shouldn’t be doing for a while, then rides home with him.
In the elevator, Tony thinks about telling JARVIS to take him to the workshop, but one stern look from Bruce makes him reconsider.
“It’s really not that bad,” Tony tries to argue.
“You’re not allowed to move your right shoulder.”
“But my hands are working just fine.”
“You can’t even stand up straight. You’re actually swaying right now.”
Tony shrugs with just the left side of his body and grimaces when it pulls on his broken ribs. “So I’ll sit down.”
Bruce pinches the bridge of his nose. “Don’t make me physically restrain you.”
“Kinky,” Tony jokes, but it falls flat because Bruce clearly isn’t in the mood for his humor and his own heart isn’t in it, anyway. He sighs and recognizes the losing battle. “Fine, take me to the penthouse, J.”
Bruce walks out of the elevator with him, hovering close behind like he’s prepared to catch him if he suddenly passes out. Which is fair, Tony supposes, because his vision goes dark around the edges a couple of times before he makes it to his bed. It’s why Tony only complains a little when Bruce kneels to take his shoes off for him when he sits down at the edge of the mattress.
“Alright, stop that, I can take care of myself,” Tony says, pushing on Bruce’s shoulder. Except the pain in his ribs and head that he gets when he bends over makes him audibly groan, and he feebly sits back up. “Okay, nevermind. You’ve got it covered. Even if this does make the top twenty most embarrassing list.”
“It makes it that high?” Bruce teases, and Tony weakly kicks at him.
Out of his shoes, Tony maneuvers himself under the covers the best he can, trying to find a position that doesn’t make any of his injuries hurt. The pain medication he’s on is fairly low grade by choice, because he hates the stronger stuff, but he’s wondering now if the fuzzy head it gives him might be worth it.
Bruce lingers a little awkwardly after, so Tony half-jokingly asks, “Are you going to stay and watch me sleep?”
Rolling his eyes, Bruce says, “No, but it’s my shift to make sure you don’t do something stupid, so I’ll be in the living room.”
“Your shift?” Tony raises his eyebrows.
“Nat’s up next. Clint’s after her.”
“I wasn’t aware I needed babysitting.” He tries to sound annoyed, but he isn’t, really. It’s almost nice that they’re concerned.
“Thor’s on night shift,” Bruce smiles. “Figured he’s the one most capable of carrying you back to bed if needed.”
After his absence at the hospital, the lack of mention of Steve sticks out even more. Not that it wouldn’t have anyway. His life revolves around the presence of Steve a little more than he wants to admit, but no one else needs to know that he plans his appearances in the communal kitchen in the mornings based on when Steve will be back from his runs or that it’s never a coincidence that he only remembers to be on time for team dinners when Steve is the one that did the cooking.
His face must reveal enough for him, though, because Bruce’s smile softens with just a touch of sadness and something that’s a little too close to pity for his liking. He doesn’t say anything about it, though. He just reminds Tony that he’ll be right in the other room if he needs anything, and Tony thinks about it while he’s trying to fall asleep.
It was almost something, he thinks. Him and Steve. It seemed like it to him, anyway, if the recent interactions were anything to go by. He didn’t think he was imagining the change in the way that Steve had been looking at him lately. The way the glances seemed to linger, eyes flitting down to his lips and back up again, and his cheeks turning a pretty shade of pink every time Tony caught him staring. Then there were the almost dates - restaurants Steve always claimed he’d been meaning to try, movies, museums, baseball games. Always on nights all the others just happened to be unavailable, leaving just the two of them. He swears he saw Steve glaring at Clint the one time he actually said yes to one of those half-hearted invitations. Clint’s yes turned to a no just a moment later.
There’s a new ache in his chest that has nothing to do with the injuries when he realizes just how wrong he was about it all. He must have read too much into it. Mistaken Steve’s friendliness for genuine affection. He would be here otherwise.
______________
True to their word, his friends really do stay around the clock, though the shifts aren’t exactly accurate. Natasha and Clint usually come together, and Bruce doesn’t usually leave for a while after they do. Someone’s always there in a way that would border on stifling if he didn’t secretly soak up all of the attention with fervor. It’s a few days before his dislocated shoulder no longer needs a sling and his concussion has mostly cleared up so he can do more than lounge around. Steve is painfully absent for all of it, and he finds out on the third day that he’s left for a mission without saying goodbye. Natasha distracts him from how badly that stings by asking him which shade of nail polish she should paint his toenails with. He ends up with glittery pink and a pit in his stomach.
It’s a week after the bruises have already faded that Steve comes back, and Tony pettily decides that two can play the avoidance game. His hurt has morphed from sadness into anger, because even if Steve didn’t share his feelings he could have at least bothered to ask how he was. Even a text would have been better than this.
Knowing Steve’s schedule pays off in the opposite way now. He knows when to avoid all of the common areas, like the gym and kitchen. If he needs more coffee in the middle of the day, he knows to go between one and three, because Steve will be in a training session with the new Shield agents. If he shows up a little late for movie night, the only seat left will be the uncomfortable armchair in the corner that no one really likes, but he won’t have to awkwardly avoid touching Steve on the couch.
Days pass like that, with Natasha giving him tired looks every time she catches him sneaking around and Bruce bordering on annoyed with how many times Tony goes to his lab instead of his own just in case Steve decides today is the day he wants to start coming by again. It’s childish, he knows, and it grows even more childish when he reasons that Steve started it first.
He shouldn’t be surprised when the rest of the team decides that enough is enough, though he is surprised that they choose the pantry of all places for it. The ambush happens on a Monday evening, right when Tony is coming back from a long day of meetings that already have him feeling drained. Natasha grabs his arm, and it seems innocent enough at first. Until she pushes him into the pantry and slams the door shut behind him. He nearly topples right into Steve, who catches him by the elbow and rights him before he can fall. There’s the sound of something being dragged in front of the door, then Clint’s voice on the other side.
“Get your shit together, and then you can come out again,” he says.
Tony sputters, flitting between glaring at the door and at Steve. The look towards Steve softens a bit when he realizes that he looks just as confused as Tony, then hardens again when he remembers that he’s still angry at him.
He turns to the door and pounds his fist against it. “Guys, open the damn door. This is fucking ridiculous.”
“So is watching you two avoid each other like the plague,” Bruce says.
“Just talk to each other and stop being dumbasses,” Nat adds.
Tony sighs, and when he turns around, Steve won’t even meet his eyes. He stares down at the floor, shoulders hunched and folded in on himself in a way that makes him look small.
It might be childish again, but Tony doesn’t want to be the one to break the silence first. He slides down to the floor and leans back against the door with every intention of waiting it out. It’s Steve’s famous stubbornness against his own, though, and god only knows how long this could take. He starts counting things on the shelves. Two bottles of ketchup, four boxes of microwaveable popcorn, a jar of pickles. He makes it as far as the tenth different type of cereal before Steve finally says, “I should’ve been there.”
The admission is so quiet it’s barely audible, and Tony glances up to see that Steve still won’t look at him.
“Yeah, you should’ve been,” Tony agrees, and he can’t quite keep the bitterness out of his tone. “Why weren’t you?”
Steve hesitates, and Tony rolls his eyes. “Whatever, Cap. It’s fine. We’re not those kind of friends, I get it. I mean, if you were in the hospital, I’d want to make sure you were okay with my own eyes, but you don’t feel the same. It’s my own fault for thinking that you -”
“I was scared,” Steve cuts him off, and Tony snaps his mouth shut. “I was scared, because you were - you could have died. You don’t even know what it was like watching you fall like that. You didn’t see all the blood. You didn’t have to carry your body to the medics because you were unconscious. All I could think is that you could have been dying, and it would’ve been on me. Because I couldn’t do enough, and I should’ve done more.”
Steve looks like it hurts to even say the words, like he’s reliving the memory of it, but Tony only feels angrier for it. “And how does that translate into ignoring me for weeks? You were scared, so what, you just left?”
Steve nods a little, guilt and shame on his face. His hands clench and unclench at his sides, and he’s quieter when he continues, “I ran, and then I felt like shit for running, so I ran some more. I thought -” Steve swallows, finally looking up to meet Tony’s eyes, and Tony can see that his blue eyes are rimmed with red. “I thought you would hate me for it, and now I know that you do.”
Tony tilts his head back, closing his eyes with a sigh, “I don’t hate you. I missed you, and I’m mad at you, but I don’t hate you.”
“You don’t?” Steve asks, and the hope in his voice is enough to make Tony’s heart clench.
“I could never hate you.”
“But can you feel the same way about me that you did before?”
Tony opens his eyes, a fragile smile starting to form. “And how do you think I felt about you before?”
Steve’s cheeks turn red, and he looks away again, but Tony won’t have that. He stands up from the floor, and in the small space it’s only a step before he’s right in front of him. It’s nerve wracking to be the one to reach out first, but he does it anyway. He turns Steve’s face back to him with a hand on his jaw and asks the questions again.
“How do you think I felt before?”
He gets another one of those now familiar looks. Steve’s eyes move down to his lips, lingering there, before returning to Tony’s own eyes again.
“Tony,” he whispers. “I’m so sorry.”
“Answer the question,” Tony whispers back. “What were we?”
“I don’t know what we were, but I know what I wanted us to be,” Steve says, and Tony quietly waits for him to continue. “I wanted to be yours, and I wanted you to be mine. I still want that, if you can forgive me for running.”
Tony nods, “But you can’t do that again.”
“I won’t,” Steve promises. His hand finds Tony’s hip to pull him in a little closer. “And if you could stop falling from the sky, I would really appreciate that.”
“I’ll do my best, but I’m not sorry for what I did. I hate that I scared you, but I can’t pretend that I wouldn’t make the exact same choice again. Not when it’s me or everyone else, especially you. Don’t act like you wouldn’t do the same.”
Steve opens his mouth, and Tony can tell he wants to argue it, but instead he sighs. “I would sacrifice myself every time for you.”
Tony smiles, “I know you would, but I’d never let you.”
“Try and stop me,” Steve replies, teasing and light to make Tony laugh. His arm wraps around Tony’s back to press them together chest to chest.
Tony tugs on the collar of Steve’s shirt to pull him lower, and Steve takes the hint to finally kiss him like he’s been wanting for so long.

Note
oooh may's relationship with harley? idk i just love may okay, i want more may in my life. i want someone to love me like may loves peter
“I hAve EMptY BrAiN DIseaSE” (comes up with brilliant idea i never ever even considered)
• peter brings harley back to his apartment to meet his aunt three months after they’ve started dating, which- yeah, okay, maybe they waited a while (longer than most couples, anyways).
• he just wanted to make sure. wanted to make sure harley was right for him, wanted to make sure harley felt like peter was right for him, wanted to make sure this wasn’t going to be a two-week relationship that fizzles out like a firework in the rain.
• (it isn’t, of course. somewhere in the back of his mind, peter knows that he’d known that harley was special the day he’d met him. they’re happy, gentle with each other, squabbling like an old married couple. sue them for being careful, really)
• (in peter’s opinion, the alternative- introducing may to harley too early on and letting them both down- is much worse)
• they walk home from stark tower on a stormy tuesday in october, all bundled up in their coats and each other. there’s rain dripping from the rooftops and the air conditioning units onto their defenseless heads, seeping into their curls and creating the perfect conditions for an absolutely miserable first meeting.
• the boys aren’t miserable, though.
• of course they’re not.
• harley keeps shaking his head like an overgrown golden retriever, shooting cool droplets into the air and splashing them all over peter’s face and neck. he’s grinning that all-teeth grin that peter loves so much, red lips and perfectly white pearls, and even though the sky is practically purple at this point, peter doesn’t want to rush.
• that changes when the first boom of thunder sounds out through the near-empty streets.
• harley sobers up the minute peter twitches, glancing around like he’s about to be attacked. his fingers are clenched into fists, and the drawn line of his jaw is so hard that he looks like he might break his teeth.
• they walk much faster after that first boom, harley with his head tilted over peter’s to protect him from the rain, both of their long legs keeping perfect stride with each other.
• (peter doesn’t like feeling small, and harley knows that, in most circumstances, having someone his size looming over him like this would be an absolute recipe for disaster- especially with how tense he is. with harley, though, peter feels safe.)
• (he’s told him. he knows.)
• they climb up the fire escape, side-by-side, shivering like wet cats. the door on the landing is covered in green paint the color of peter’s flannel, and harley’s the one to knock, shaking a few flakes of paint to the metal floor. he holds onto peter, trying to ignore the butterflies in his stomach, and winces as a cold raindrop lands right on the ball of his nose.
• macy keener had loved harley and abby.
• macy keener had also loved johnathan.
• macy keener had been a very distant figure in harley’s life for the entirety of his childhood. his memories of her are full of yellow bottles full of rattling pills (mommy has to take these so she’s not sad, harley had told baby when she’d asked why macy always had bottles in her purse).
• that’s why he doesn’t really know what to expect of peter’s aunt.
• he knows his uncle had died a few years ago, when peter was fourteen. he knows that peter was there. he knows that peter held him while he bled out on unforgiving pavement.
• he knows that his parents had died a very long time ago, when peter was a toddler. he knows that they died on an airplane, and that their names were mary and richard. he knows that peter doesn’t remember them very well.
• but he doesn’t know anything about may parker.
• so that’s why, when the door of the apartment opens to show a very short, very pretty woman with a dishtowel in her soapy hands, a wedding ring on her finger, and frizzy hair in a cloud surrounding her head, he finally realizes what tony meant when he told harley that peter was just like may.
• they look. so similar.
• wow.
• may invites them in, biting her lip when she sees the way peter’s shivering beneath the thick layer of his hoodie (harley’s hoodie). harley waits for her to towel off her hands before holding one of his out, shaking hers, and asking if he can help with dinner while may situates a trembling, chatter-teeth peter at the kitchen table.
• linoleum creaks under flimsy wooden chair legs. may pulls a steaming lasagna out of the oven and nearly burns her hands. peter lays shaking fingers out on the table and gesture for harley to take his hand, and he does, and they hold onto each other while they eat and may cracks jokes and the lasagna is fucking disgusting but it’s the best thing harley thinks he’s ever tasted.
• if the keeners had been shattered glass, the parkers are warmth and light. if the keeners had been night, the parkers are day.
• harley feels like the sun, though, in that cramped little queens kitchen.
• he’s radiating warmth like icarus.
• but, of course, peter’s the one who flies too close to the sun.
• may and harley don’t speak again for a month- not because the first meeting had gone badly, of course, but because there’s just not much need for a line of communication between them when peter’s there.
• peter’s the reason they meet again.
• peter’s the reason harley gets a phone call at three o’clock in the morning on a wednesday.
• peter’s the reason harley picks up his phone to hear a sobbing, entirely incoherent may on the other end of the line. the only thing he can make out is that he needs to come to the parker apartment before may abruptly hangs up.
• harley wants to lie down and die right there.
• but he can’t.
• he makes it to their apartment in record time, jogging through dark streets, and fucking kicks the door in when nobody opens it. whatever. he’ll get tony to buy them a new one, and it needed a new paint job anyways.
• he sees them right away.
• the little bathroom adjacent to the kitchen- not the main one, but the one sans shower- is paved with the same yellow linoleum as the kitchen itself.
• harley can’t see any of that yellow linoleum.
• harley can’t see any of that yellow linoleum beneath the thick coat of red liquid that spreads out from the base of the toilet.
• harley can’t see any of that yellow linoleum beneath the thick coat of red liquid that spreads out from the base of the toilet, where peter, pale and choking on his own breath, is lying spread-eagled on the floor with may crouched above him.
• he’s kneeling beside them before he can blink. groping for the injury- a neat hole beneath the left side of Peter’s ribs- he strips his flannel off and presses it into peter’s skin, flinching at the tortured yell he gives out.
• he’s crying. peter’s crying, shimmery trails cutting through the grime and blood on his face. he can’t seem to speak, instead whimpering his way through the pain and gripping harley’s hands like they’re the last thing he’ll ever feel.
• may’s crying, too.
• harley knows his eyes are watering.
• while he presses down on the wound, trying his best to hold peter down where he can’t aggravate what looks like a bullet hole, may reaches across her nephew’s body and takes harley’s wrist in her unoccupied hand.
• her fingers barely connect next to his wristbone.
• “he’s going to be okay,” she whispers, voice hoarse from crying for help.
• peter lets out another sob and tightens his grip on harley’s hand. his curls are choked with blood, so much that they’re more red than brown, and there’s a little speck of dirt at the corner of his right eye.
• “i know,” harley says, reaching down to brush the dirt away.
• (he’s lying)
• (he doesn’t believe it until he’s sitting in a plastic emergency room chair, holding may’s hand in his own, peter’s blood smeared over his skin, and a surgeon with those same streaks of red all over his scrubs approaches them and tells them that peter’s stable)
• (he doesn't believe it until his and may’s hands are joined over peter’s motionless body in his hospital room, where he’s been moved from the ICU)
• may is still crying.
• harley feels like he’s about to float away.
• peter’s chest is rising up and down, one, two, steady, steady, steady steadysteady
• may smiles through her tears as the beeping of peter’s many machines fill the room.
• harley smiles back.

hi! so. a while back (like, a good while back) I found a fanfic for you and you said something about a story/short thing in return? I said I'd take you up on it, but then took an extended leave of absence from Tumblr and never did. anyways, im feeling things about gay dads and also Peter Parker and I was wondering if you could do something with iron husbands and tony's many adopted children, both bots and otherwise? idk. you're amazing.
The first kid that gets adopted, in a sense, is Dum-E. He’s the product of a lot of “you can’t do this” energy.
People really do think that Tony and Rhodey aren’t capable of creating an Artificial Intelligence unit that can think for itself.
The final nail in the coffin is when Rhodey is visiting the Stark family home and Obadiah Stane treats their goal dismissively.
When they get back to their home in Boston, Rhodey sets his jaw.
“We’re making that fucking system, Tones. I don’t care what happens.”
“So what you’re saying is that we’re disregarding our previous agreement about limiting lab rules?”
“Yes. Null and void until we bring this fruition.”
This is a very important rule. Despite what most would think, Rhodey and Tony are capable of setting limits and following them. But if there is no physical reminder of that rule, then they can ignore it.
(This is actually just the excuse that they make up so that they can make Machiavellian machines.)
Dum-E spins around and ruins at least three pairs of socks that Rhodey leaves on the floor.
“At least you finally stopped that habit,” Tony says. Rhodey rolls his eyes, watching as Dum-E finally realizes that he cannot possibly open the door to the porch and will stop bumping up against the glass.
"He’s an idiot,” Tony says fondly.
“Took after his mama,” Rhodey jokes. Tony slaps his arm.
“Hey!”
The second and third are twins. Kind of. Both of them absolutely insist that they are not twins because they are very different. After all, U likes alternative pop, which Butterfingers finds simply unforgivable.
Rhodey and Tony didn’t know that the other was making a robot. Dum-E was lonely, and their anniversary was coming up.
They both decided to make Dum-E a sibling and laughed as U and Butterfingers basically rolled up to each other and immediately tried to fight.
“So...who’s first?” Tony asks.
“Hm...U, I think.”
Butterfingers sulks. She’s youngest by one day, and U will never let her hear the end of it.
“I know baby girl,” Tony coos. “But you look so pretty. Look at how nice your dad painted your display!”
It is rather pretty. It’s all cool with yellows and blues. Dum-E is a jealous.
Jarvis is more Tony’s than anything. Made after a lonely Christmas. Not the one that most people think.
Edwin Jarvis died in late November.
Tony didn’t rest until it was done.
They sob together as Jarvis states the weather in a crisp, accented tone that sounds so much like the original.
The siblings all get along like a house on fire, although Rhodey swears that Jarvis loves to instigate drama when Tony doesn’t need it.
This is how Dum-E and Butterfingers get into a week-long feud about whose turn it is to close the fridge door. This is a Very Important Job.
Jarvis makes it worse.
“You are trying to kill me,” Rhodey says, scowling. “You know your brother and sister would fight.”
“I am a learning program, Colonel Rhodes.”
“Don’t call me that. Call me anything but that.”
“Confirmed, Private Rhodes.”
“I hate you.”
“You wouldn’t visit my creator so much if you truly meant that.”
Rhodey gives him the bird, and Jarvis almost huffs.
He’s an amazing kid, really.
The next kid isn’t for a while longer. It’s not until a year after the actual event, that Rhodey wasn’t there for.
So he went by Iron Patriot for a while. Didn’t stick. He’s kind of glad it didn’t.
This one didn’t even know about Rhodey, which is a travesty.
It’s a snot-nosed little tween who says he’s not a tween, and his name is Harley Keener.
“Tony Stark and I are connected,” he says stubbornly. Rhodey let him into the house, not like he’s going to just make this kid stay outside.
“Like what, through an email chain? Texting?”
“Life experience,” Tony says. “Hey kiddo. Who the hell let you take a bus all the way here?”
“Bus drivers.”
“Ha ha. Where’s your mom?”
Harley tenses.
His mother got a new boyfriend. New boyfriend didn’t like Harley or his little sister. Little sister is living with an aunt, and Harley didn’t want to live there. So here he is, in New York.
“You don’t have to take me in, but I won’t stop bothering you,” Harley says.
Tony sighs.
“Come on in, kid. Like I’d let you do anything else.”
It’s complicated. Rhodey realizes he’s dealing with another Tony with a bit more stubbornness to him and blistering genius.
He calls his boss.
“I need to put in my two weeks.”
“You can’t be serious.”
“I am.”
“Why?”
“Let’s just say I got preoccupied by surprise.”
“Don’t tell me your guy brought home another bouncing baby robot.”
“Well...not really. This one’s human.”
“Christ.”
Harley loves New York. He manages to navigate far easier than Tony ever could, and he grew up there half his life. Harley learns which bodegas are good, and what food trucks he needs to watch out for.
He also adjusts to school far easier than expected, although the environment is much better. He’s being challenged, and he has people that can follow him.
This is when Tony and Rhodey look into Midtown and discover a kid with a lot of promise.
Spider-Man, technically, isn’t confirmed to go to Midtown.
But Harley’s a bright kid and realizes that Peter Parker is Spidey.
It also helps that the makeshift suit is hanging out of his backpack in a back alley.
Peter gets an internship, and Rhodey laughs as Tony groans.
“Oh my god, how do kids have so much energy. How.”
“We were like that.”
“No we weren’t.”
“Do you forget we created Dum-E in, like, a week because we ignored the concept of time?”
“Hm. I choose to forget that. It didn’t happen.”
Rhodey laughs.
They all have family nights. The bots are particularly enamored with movies, and drag Harley and Peter out of the lab to watch them.
It’s Butterfingers’ turn, and she always chooses a soft movie. This time, it’s an old silent film.
Dum-E likes action movies, so this is not the favorite.
“Hush, you got to choose last time honey,” Rhodey scolds. “Don’t make me cut off your turn.”
Dum-E goes silent as Peter snickers, flicking a piece of popcorn at U, who is currently trying to rearrange the furniture.
(He’s decided he wants to watch videos about interior design this month. He’s very invested in Manifesting His Vision.)
Tony smiles at Rhodey across the way. Harley had said he wasn’t tired, and now his head is on Rhodey’s leg, and he’s out of the world. Peter’s getting there, yawning into the pillow he’s decided is his.
U has gone to “charge” although he says he’s Fine, No Charging for Him!
(Jarvis has to laugh.)
It’s not the typical family lifestyle. But Tony and Rhodey want anything but typical.

i don’t know if you’re still taking prompts but maybe peter telling harley he has a crush on him? with maybe some fluff and angst. thank you :)
Peter had never really had an internet friend before, and sure, he was worried about what he was getting himself into at the start. They met because of Peter’s Twitter account which had amassed over three million followers because of his connection to the Avengers, Spider-Man, and being Tony Stark’s Intern.
There had been some comments he’d seen written by one Harley Keener, and eventually he started replying to them, and then one day, he sent Harley a message.
Worry had time to boil while waiting for a response, waiting to see if Harley was just someone who wanted an inside scoop on what Tony was really like, if Harley would get what he wanted and disappear, if Harley would use Peter’s trust.
But Harley responded with a dorky meme followed by how are you? and saw your last tweet, if you want help I’m always happy to :) Fixing up cars is kinda my forte.
The Twitter messages continued for nearly four months before Peter received a message with Harley’s number. Peter was worried about giving out his private phone number, even to Harley. He wasn’t quite sure he could trust him yet, not with any personal information.
But Harley had followed it up with a message that read only if you feel comfortable using it :) If not, no worries at all. I like Twitter all the same.
Before he knew it, he was waking up to Good Morning Texts, falling asleep to Good Night ones, spending weekends glued to his phone screen. By month seven, they were texting constantly, and by month nine, they started calling at least once a week.
When Peter falls, he falls hard.
Harley, over text and on the phone and even when they facetime, is the best. He’s a bit rough around the edges, the way May always worried Peter would become after all he’s been through, but Harley makes up for the brashness by being charming and doting. He did quietly sweet thing that he never took credit for like sending care packages to Peter. Well technically to the tower because he didn’t want to make Peter uncomfortable by asking for his address. Tony had teased Peter about it for ages.
The anxiety set in the moment he realized how he felt about the boy he’d been texting for a year.
He wanted to tell Harley how he felt, but he was scared. He didn’t want to lose one of the greatest things that had happened to him in a while.
It didn’t help how in the dark he was feeling.
This is where he would’ve turned to Ben.
Maybe even in recent years he might’ve turned to Tony for advice. He did tell Tony all about Liz after Peter started working with him. But Tony gets worried and protective, and if he found out Peter was talking to a boy who he’d never met, Tony might end up doing a full background check, maybe intimidating him. He didn’t want to put either of them into that situation.
He’d already talked to May. It was different, not how it ever felt when he talked to Ben about that sort of thing. Not necessarily bad, just different.
“I really like this boy,” Peter said. His head was in May’s lap and an old romcom was playing muted on the TV. “But we’ve only ever talked online, he lives all the way in Tennessee, and I’m terrified of screwing everything up.”
“You know your parents met online.” May had laughed quietly, nails scratching gently at his scalp. “Mary was working in California and Richard was here, but they met through mutual coworkers, I guess. They emailed a lot and eventually, when Mary moved back here, Richard told her how he felt.”
Peter pouted childishly and rolled his eyes. “It’s not that simple. We’ve been talking for a year, I can’t lose him now.”
“Well if you two are really friends, he won’t drop you if he doesn’t feel the same. But, I know I’m a little bit biased because I love you, he’s missing out on a lot if he lets you go.”
And that was that. To May, it was that simple.
To Peter, not so much.
Harley could ruin Peter’s life easily with the amount of information Pepper and Tony have fought to hide from the public.
But he knows he has to do it anyways.
Hey. I don’t want this to ruin our friendship or anything and if you don’t reciprocate we can just move on and pretend it never happened. I swear I won’t be angry or upset at all.
I just kinda have a huge crush on you. You’re so sweet to me and funny and sarcastic and I just idk I really like you.
And then he does something stupid.
He puts his phone in the suit’s pocket and goes out Spider-Manning, not wanting to miss a reply from Harley despite how late it is.
And then, because Parker Luck will never let him live a peaceful day, he falls straight into the Hudson River again, breaking his phone.
“It’ll work again, kid, if you’re really so attached to this one,” Tony says, flipping the phone upside down and watching the water drip onto the floor.
Peter finishes toweling off his hair and frowns. “I need it. I sent an important text last night and I need to see the response.”
“Thirty-six hours in rice, kid. That’s what Fri says does the trick.”
The towel falls from Peter’s grip. “Thirty-six hours? You’ve got to be kidding me. I need it like now, Tony.”
“I can’t do now, kid.”
So Peter waits.
Thirty-six hours.
He goes to school and his knee never stops bouncing, fingers tapping on his desk and getting reprimanded by five out of six of his teachers. Coach Wilson doesn’t, solely because Peter manages to turn most of his nerves and anxiety into running the track. Unfortunately, it means he forgets to be the pre-spider bite kid with asthma and could barely do three pushups, so Ned has to physically grab him when he’s on his sixth lap to tell him to cool it.
He’s scared.
He doesn’t want to know what his phone will tell him when he gets it back. He doesn’t want to see the rejection on the screen, the potentials of blackmail. It would be so easy for Harley to tell the world the truth about him. Bisexual, nightmare-riddled, dorky, Midtown High School Student, grieving his uncle’s death, secret holder for Stark Industries, Peter Parker. The target it would put on Peter’s back would make Tony put him in lockdown.
But when he arrives to the lab, seven am on the dot, exactly thirty-six hours later, Tony’s grinning in amusement, bag of rice in hand.
“Can’t believe your phone was so important that you’re risking not only detention but a grounding by skipping first period.”
Peter rolls his eyes, a little more annoyed than fond of the teasing, and Tony seems to pick up on it because he hands over Peter’s phone with a huffed, “God, teenagers.”
Fifty-eight texts from Harley and two dozen missed calls.
The most recent text reading a simple call me please.
So he does. He doesn’t even wait for the elevator doors to close behind Tony, leaving him alone in the lab, before turning his back and pushing his phone against his ear.
“Peter?” Harley sounds like a wreck, voice rough and hoarse, trembling like he’s trying not to cry. “If you’re fucking with me, I swear to god, I’ll walk all the way to fucking New York to punch you.”
“I’m so sorry!” Peter gasps. “I had my phone in my pocket and I fell in the river and Tony insisted it had to sit in a bag of rice for thirty-six hours, and I had no way to contact you-”
Harley cuts him off. “You fell in a river?”
Peter hasn’t told him about Spider-Man. “Well, uh, you know me, so clumsy… It’s not important. I’m just so sorry. I had to wait the thirty-six hours before I could see what you said-”
This time it’s Peter who cuts himself off.
Because he didn’t actually read the messages. He doesn’t know what Harley thinks.
“I didn’t sleep last night, I was so worried. Fucking hell, Peter, don’t do that to me, alright? You never answered me, are you fucking with me? Is this some strange joke? ‘Cause it’s not funny.”
“Not a joke,” Peter says quickly. “I swear, it’s not a joke. I’m sorry, Harley, if you- if you want to just forget this all happened, I’d totally get it and I-”
Harley laughs. Well and truly laughs. “Forget this happened? This is by far the funniest love story I’ve ever heard, Parker. Tell me you like me and then fall into a fucking river. What is your life?”
“Love story,” Peter repeats.
“I like you too, you dumbass.”

The Best and Worst Things About Each MCU Movie
These are all just my stinky opinions. You are allowed to disagree, you are allowed to agree. Most of these are jokes anyway. I’m honestly just happy you’re reading this. Minor Spoilers Ahead!
Iron Man (2008) -
Best: This movie almost perfectly sets the tone for the entire universe that has at that point yet to have been created. Looking back, you can imagine the feeling of “Where are they going to go from here?” and I think that’s one of the most important things that this movie needed to accomplish.
Worst: What the fuck is Jeff Bridges doing? What’s his endgame here? I get he’s trying to take over Stark Industries but how’s he gonna do that from inside that giant metal suit he uses to kill people inside their cars?
Incredible Hulk (2008) -
Best: Tim Roth is in it and I think that is pretty cool.
Worst: I haven’t actually seen it, but the cgi looks god awful, what the hell.
Iron Man 2 (2010) -
Best: Sam Rockwell is so goddamn annoying in this movie and I think that’s amazing, he’s such a little stinker.
Worst: I remember basically nothing else about this movie except some guy talking about birds, idk.
Thor (2011) -
Best: It introduces Loki, probably one of the most beloved villains in the entire franchise.
Worst: This movie is so goddamn boring and it’s my least favorite and I hate it. Don’t @ me.
Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) -
Best: The first good chunk of this movie is actually a really compelling character study on Steve Rogers and what makes him a good man. Seeing him basically being paraded as this propaganda figure and watching him struggle with this is one of the most compelling things about him as a person. Really wish they kept this up for the entire movie.
Worst: The red skull is really boring guys. He’s red, that’s it. Give me something else to work with man.
Marvel’s The Avengers (2012) -
Best: This movie proved that you can have a superhero team up with this many people and have it fucking work. It doesn’t matter if you hate or love this movie, you cannot deny the effects it has on the genre.
Worst: It’s shot like a bad CW show. It looks so ugly.
Iron Man 3 (2013)
Best: This one is actually my favorite of the bunch. Exploring the question of what makes Iron Man, the suit or the person, is shown really well here. I thoroughly dig it.
Worst: That scene where Harley flip flops about whether or not he really knows Tony makes me so irrationally angry.
Thor: The Dark World (2013)
Best: It’s slightly better than Thor, and I actually can feel myself start to have a good time whenever Loki’s on screen.
Worst: Once again, this movie is insanely forgettable. Christopher fucking Eccleston is in this movie and I could not tell you a single thing about this character.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) -
Best: This movie has one of the best hand-to-hand fight scenes in the entire MCU. You know the one I’m talking about. It gives me chills, I love it.
Worst: Having the government stand-in that Steve questions in the beginning of the movie actually be a front for N*zis that he can just beat up, and not an actual metaphor for the issues with the government today? You ain’t slick.
Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 1 (2014) -
Best: This is the mcu movie basically anyone can enjoy. Anybody can watch this movie and find something to love about it. The characters, the messages about family and learning to be okay with feeling love, the jokes, hell, even the space setting. THE MUSIC. It’s the full package baby.
Worst: Chris Pratt has an unfortunate cameo in this one.
Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) -
Best: I have a couple of things. A) The party scene where we get to watch the Avengers talk and be friends with each other and act like people. B) I love James Spader no matter what he is doing.
Worst: Why is everyone quipping? Why is the robot quipping? Why would they massacre my boy like that?
Ant-man (2015) -
Best: I want Paul Rudd to marry me, best dad in the mcu.
Worst: The moment Edgar Wright left this project.
Captain America: Civil War (2016) -
Best: Introduces two great characters, Spider-man and Black Panther. These two get a lot of love when it comes to designing their characters in this movie and it makes me very happy.
Worst: It made the fandom very unhappy and I don’t like picking sides. It feels like watching your many parents get divorced for two hours.
Doctor Strange (2016) -
Best: The magic looks really fucking cool in this movie. Also, the ending with Dormammu is up there for one of my favorite endings of an mcu movie. Having Doctor Strange actually outsmart the villain instead of actually fighting him is endlessly more satisfying.
Worst: Could not tell you a thing else about this movie other than I heard Tilda Swinton plays a character that’s probably not supposed to be white.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017) -
Best: Guys, I gotta come clean about something. I actually like this one better than Volume 1. I know, I know, a good majority of people do not feel this way, but I feel a lot more emotionally attached to the movie, and that’s mainly because of two characters: Yondu Udonta and Rocket Racoon. Rocket realizing that he’s an asshole but his found family still loves him gets me, man. I can’t help it. Helps that Ego is a great villain as well. Also the cinematography is some of the best in the mcu.
Worst:  No Howard the Duck.
Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) -
Best: I think the best thing about this movie is just the solidness of it all. No one part stands out as the best because most everything about this movie is pretty damn good. Michael Keaton will knock your socks off, go watch it.
Worst: Donald Glover is in it to tease a Miles Morales reveal, BUT NOTHING HAS HAPPENED ABOUT IT SINCE.
Thor: Ragnarok (2017) -
Best: Taika Waititi knows how to do shit right, lemme tell ya. Taking away Thor’s hammer from the beginning was probably one of the smartest choices in the movie, and this is a movie of smart choices.
Worst: Jeff Goldblum isn’t in it more.
Black Panther (2018) -
Best: Erik Killmonger is easily the best villain in a Marvel movie, and you can quote me on that. An amazing performance from Michael B. Jordan. It’s also the first Marvel movie I saw in theatres (I know, I was very late to the game)
Worst: Everett K. Ross is CIA propaganda and the last fight scene on the train tracks looks like shit.
Avengers: Infinity War (2018) -
Best: It’s really hard to sum up exactly what my thoughts are on this movie. I think one of the movie’s best qualities is the bigness of it. This movie feels huge, there’s a lot of different stuff to love here. If you like Wakanda, there’s a whole epic battle set in Wakanda. If you’re more a fan of the space stuff, we got a whole lotta space stuff. The best part of this movie is there’s probably gonna be something that everyone can enjoy packed in here.
Worst: I also think the bigness of this movie is also one of it’s larger weaknesses. Because there’s so much stuff in this movie, not all of it is fully fleshed out. Tony Stark gets a lot to do in this movie, but Steve Rogers sort of feels sidelined at parts. There’s a perfect balance that I don’t think was quite hit.
Ant-man and The Wasp (2018) -
Best: I still really love Paul Rudd in this movie, and I think his relationship with Cassie is still really cute. World’s Greatest Grandma indeed.
Worst: This movie really had its work cut out for itself, coming off the heels of Infinity War, so it sort of falls short in that respect. I don’t want to criticize it too harshly, it is what it is, nothing insanely memorable.
Captain Marvel (2019) -
Best: I still think this is a pretty good movie, despite what a lot of people think. I struggle a lot with believing that I have to prove myself to others, so having Carol finally realize that she doesn’t have anything to prove to anyone was really important to me, and probably a lot of other women.
Worst: There were parts where I wasn’t as engaged, like the scenes in the Kree empire. That made some of the movie feel off to me, it’s a bit unbalanced.
Avengers: Endgame (2019) -
Best: This movie 100% achieves what it sets out to do, and that is to be a huge cinematic event. I don’t even really see this movie as a movie, it’s more like one huge experience. My viewing had one of the most energetic crowds I’ve ever seen a movie with.
Worst: I don’t really think this movie holds up to multiple re-watches. Granted, I saw it in theatres three times. I don’t think any subsequent viewings are ever going to pack that same punch that my first viewing had, and that makes it harder to come back to. Also Steve had a totally lame ending.
Spider-man: Far From Home (2019) -
Best: After ending on such a downer note in the last movie, this felt like a weight being lifted off my chest. Jake Gyllenhaal gives an insanely energetic performance that I absolutely adore. (Also seeing it with my dad was fun, he would nudge me every time they switched locations to tell me he’d been there)(Also when I saw it with my sibling a kid ran out of the theatre during the Mysterio mind-fuck sequence, some just can’t handle that lifestyle)
Worst: Peter Parker and MJ remind me of how perpetually single I am.

Tumblr media
It was awkward living in the home of your ex-boyfriend, but not as much as it could have been considering Tony Stark’s home was huge. You practically had your own separate wing for God’s sake, and despite now being exes after nearly three years of dating, the two of you were actually on quite good terms.
The break up had been mutual. It had gradually been getting more and more painfully obvious that the only thing keeping the two of you together was wonderful, rough, and heated sex. There were no more long, late night conversations in his lab, no more fun and social outings to all types of conventions and galas and events he helped fund, no more date nights at your favorite burger joint. Even the hugs and kisses felt bland and forced. It was sad and scary to suddenly be single again after having been convinced for so long that Tony was going to be your husband one day, but you knew you would be alright. The two of you had shared a surprisingly mature conversation about the matter; he was just as heartbroken as you were, but he told you that he would always love you, even if it may be in a different way than before.
For the most part, you did not see much of each other despite staying in the same home. He was often working, as were you, and during the nights he would be slaving away in his lab on God knows what. The only reason you were still there was because you were still in the process of moving your things out; you would stay at your friend’s place until you found an apartment of your own. Tony had offered to buy you a place himself, but you had assured him it was alright. The two of you may have been friends, but you did not want to have to rely on him.
You had stepped out of the shower, wrapping your towel around your figure when you realized you had completely forgotten to get your laundry. Stepping out into your bedroom, you practically ransacked the dresser looking for something, but to no avail. A lot of your clothes were already packed up in boxes and ready to be moved. With a light sigh, you headed for the laundry room, holding your towel around yourself. It was around 9 PM, meaning Tony would most likely still be at work anyways. Not that this was anything he hadn’t seen before.
Too lazy to retrieve all of your clothes, you simply pulled out what you needed. A bra, thong, tank, and sleep shorts-- nothing fancy, and besides, most if not all of this would probably come off by the time you were ready to sleep, anyways. It was then you heard Tony’s voice from the hallway, his footsteps approaching the laundry room probably having seen the light turned on. “Hey, Y/N, I’m glad I caught ya-- I wanted to talk to you abo-” he began, then instantly paused when he stepped inside the room, brown eyes now focused on your towel wearing frame. “Oh. Well, hello to you too.” He muttered, and you bit your lip, laughing awkwardly. “Sorry, forgot my clothes. Here, I’ll just go change and then--” you started to say, but as you were trying to move around him you dropped one of the articles of clothing in your hand; looking down, you scoffed silently in disbelief. Of course it happened to be the thong. “I’m just gonna….” you trailed off and laughed again but leaned over to pick it up, trying to hold your towel up despite your hand holding onto your clothes. For once, Tony was completely silent, and this was slightly concerning. When you straightened up, however, it was easy to see why. You knew that look in his eyes, and you knew why it was there. He really was not the type to get so worked up or turned on easily, but you supposed it had been difficult for both of you going from fucking every single day to having to take matters into your own hands (literally). You cleared your throat once you straightened back up.
“Did you need anything?” you asked, trying to make this strange experience as casual as possible. He kept his eyes on you, now taking a step closer as his teeth pulled on his lower lip. “No, but fuck, now I do…” You knew this expression even better than the first, and it made you slightly press your thighs together underneath the towel. “What is it…?” you asked, though your voice was soft and distracted, your hand clenching your clothes tighter. He was now standing directly in front of you, barely leaving any space between your bodies as he looked down at you with lust filled, desperate eyes. “Jesus Christ, Y/N, don’t act like you don’t know how much I want you right now…”
His words sent shivers down your spine. You knew where this was headed, and your more rational side could try to interfere all it wanted, but you knew it would not succeed. “One time can’t hurt… right…?” you whispered, and a wide smirk crossed his lips. Before you knew it, you were being pulled into his body, his lips crashing against yours in an incredibly rough and familiar kiss. Your tight fist immediately relaxed, dropping the clothes you had originally been so determined to put on. You brought your arms around his neck and he lifted you up to sit on top of the washing machine, not breaking the kiss for even a second. “Fuck,” a growl of a curse uttered forth from his lips, and the husky tone in itself was enough to make you wet combined with the sinful way his tongue worked around yours. “It’s been too damn long…”
“We… broke up… a week ago, Tony…” you reminded him with breathless giggles in between kisses, wrapping your legs around the man’s waist tightly to keep him close to you. He smirked and bit down on your lower lip, barely tugging with his teeth. “My statement still stands,” he murmured, giving your kiss swollen lips yet another peck before running his hand up under your towel to rub your inner thigh. “I just miss this perfect body so damn much.” He paused as he pulled back slightly to look into your eyes, barely wrinkling his nose as if thoughtful. “And you in general, I suppose.” He joked in typical sarcastic Tony fashion, and you laughed, teasingly playing with the hem of your towel. “I think you need to get undressed a little more,” you whispered, nodding towards his fully clothed body. “This doesn't seem very fair.” He simply smirked as he suddenly grabbed the towel, tugging it off of you with one rough movement and haphazardly tossing it aside. “Life’s not fair, sweet cheeks.” He made a point to bring his hand down to your ass to squeeze as he said this before peppering your neck in kisses and nibbles, other hand moving to grope your soft breast. You let out a moan as you arched your back towards him, whining softly as his fingers teased your sensitive nipple, his tongue tracing hot circles over your skin while his teeth left dark marks behind. You knew the others would give you shit for the hickeys if they ever saw them, but at the same time, they had probably practically been placing bets on the fact that you and Tony would most likely hook up again after breaking up.
“Fuck me,” you suddenly begged, rolling your hips and clenching your thighs together to appease the wet heat between them. “Please, Tony, I need you so fucking bad.” He groaned simply from hearing your words, pulling back to make direct eye contact as he brought his fingers up your thigh to rub against your wet folds. “How bad?” he asked innocently, and as frustrated as you were, you had known this was coming. Tony was not the type to let up teasing so easily, even if it was torture for him too. “Fuck, Tony, I’ve been... thinking about you every single night... since we broke up,” you admitted in a half whimper, only slightly distracted by his fingers teasing your entrance. “And I- I’m tired of.. using my own fingers… or the toys you bought me…”
“Now I spent good money on those toys, baby doll.” He spoke as if reprimanding you, eyebrow raised slightly. “Would you rather Daddy use them on you?” He pushed a finger inside you, pumping deeply already as he tilted his head. “Or is this enough for you? Let’s see how many times Daddy can make his little cock slut cum for him before he fucks you nice and hard, yeah?” You let out a desperate moan as you rolled your hips further, legs now relaxed on either side of him but spread slightly to give him room, one hand holding the edge of the washing machine. You loved when he became authoritative like this, even when his already arrogant air about him was increased. He used two fingers to rub against your folds slowly but roughly, applying just the perfect amount of pressure making you mewl in a needy sense of pleasure as you gazed up into his eyes. “M-more,” you begged, and his dark smirk grew, his eyes fixed on yours. “I don’t even know if you need more, to be honest,” he replied nonchalantly, moving to start rubbing your clit. “I think you’re going to come undone for me right fucking now.” You gasped as he teased your sensitive bundle of nerves, fingers moving in circular motions knowing just exactly the pace you liked it. “D-Daddy! Fuck, I’m gonna….” He chuckled lowly, using his other hand to roll your nipple between his fingers. “Already, baby girl? And to think you were greedy to ask Daddy for more.” You gasped as you released, your cheeks practically pink and your eyes round as you watched him taste you off his fingers.
“God I missed how addictive you taste.” He admitted, sighing deeply before suddenly bringing his fingers back down, rubbing again. You widened your eyes, instinctively reaching down to grab his wrist. “Wh-what are you doing?” you asked in breathy whimpers, already feeling oversensitive. He arched an eyebrow as he slowly pushed a finger inside, your hold on his wrist having no effect on him whatsoever as he began to pump slowly. “Making you come again, duh. Have a problem with that, sugar? You did ask me for more, didn’t you?” You let out a soft whine, unsure if it was out of feeling overwhelmed or pleasured, biting on your lip harshly. “Daddy…”
He suddenly grabbed your hip with his other hand, scooting you further back on the washing machine, “Lean back against the wall,” he demanded, taking the initiative to lightly press you back himself until your back was leaned against the wall, your body naturally arched towards him with the way you were positioned. He continued pumping for a few moments and you moaned louder, feeling your legs shudder. “Daddy..!” you cried out from the stimulus, and he pushed another finger inside, watching you closely and breathless from being so turned on. However, just when you were about to come…..
“You know what?” He suddenly withdrew his fingers, giving you a devious smile as he licked at them again, taking in your shocked expression and even whine of disappointment. “I need a more direct approach.” Grabbing a hold of your thighs, he spread them apart and leaned down, swiping his tongue across your heated sex. You immediately took hold of his hair, fingers entangled in the chocolate brown strands as he moved his tongue to toy with the hood of your clit, a string of moans escaping your parted lips. When he pushed his tongue inside your entrance, you remembered just why it had been so damn hard to break up with him. Even the tiniest movements had your mind hazing, your grip on his locks tightening as you felt his beard rub up against your skin. It was almost infuriating how good at this he was, and your back was arched so incredibly towards him you would probably need a chiropractor in the near future. He gripped your thighs so hard you knew there would be bruises by the morning, but that was the least of your concern. Moving one hand so that he could stimulate your clit once again, he plunged his tongue deeper inside you, taking his time to lick all around. You were sighing in content as you tilted your head back, grinding yourself against his fingers; and then he pulled back for a second, gazing up at you to take in your lust filled expression, groaning to himself before dipping his head back down. His tongue found your clit again, flicking at it with the perfect amount of force, knowing just how to play with it; he practically knew its shape by heart, and he knew just how to move it around to drive you crazy. It was when he used his lips as a suction that you knew you were reaching your limit, unsure how you had even lasted this long to begin with. “Daddy!” you moaned as you came again, watching turned on as he lapped up every single bit of your release into his greedy mouth, practically unable to catch your breath.
“Do I taste good?” you whispered innocently, and he smirked, straightening up again as he yanked you to his body, returning you back to the edge of the washing machine. “Why don’t you find out yourself.” He kissed you again with even more passion than before and you gasped against his lips, bringing your arms around his neck to keep him close while you hitched your legs up around his waist. You felt his clothed bulge press against your bare thigh and you found yourself grinding against it, whining from feeling overstimulated but unable to help but want it. “Fuck me,” you pleaded again, and this time he did not argue. He hastily unzipped his pants, kicking them off before removing his boxer briefs. Jerking your body even closer to the edge of the appliance, he moved one hand to hold the back of your neck, forcing you to look at him. “Don’t take your eyes off me, doll,” he commanded, and you immediately nodded. “Y-Yes sir.” He smirked, scoffing lowly from being so aroused just from hearing the term of authority, guiding himself to rub his tip against your already sensitive folds. Pushing himself inside, you shivered upon hearing his husky groans, moving your hands to hold his biceps as he started moving his hips. “Mmm..! You’re so…. So big….” you moaned as you rocked your own hips in sync with his, tilting your head back feeling your damp hair from your shower fall lower onto your bare back. He smirked weakly as he began thrusting even harder, moving his hands to grasp your legs and push them back so you were even more spread for him as you sat atop the washing machine, beginning to move even faster. “God… Dammit…” he grunted, still maintaining eye contact with you, loving how pleasured and out of breath you seemed already. “You look even more sexy when you’re taking Daddy’s big cock… holy shit I’m never going to find a better fuck than you, I swear.” The praise only turned you on even more; you had always felt genuinely happy when you could go above and beyond when it came to satisfying Tony’s needs, and a more selfish part of you was a little pleased that he could admit himself that he would never be able to find anyone like you. He pushed himself even deeper, loving to hear your moans becoming louder and louder, bouncing off the walls of the relatively small room, not giving a shit if they traveled through the vents-- no one was there to hear them, anyways, though Tony had to admit such a factor would make this even hotter.
He was moving with such vigor and speed that you weren’t expecting him to abruptly pull out, but it was only to put you in a different position-- before you knew it, you were suddenly placed on the ground again, feet on the floor but facing the washing machine. Bending you over, he thrust himself right back into your tight entrance, groaning as his hands held your waist. You were nearly screaming in delight as you held the edges of the washing machine, cheek pressed against the cool surface, too overwhelmed to even lift your head. However, his hands reached around to lift your upper body slightly, only to grab your breasts he loved so much, playing with and bouncing them around even though the force of his thrusts was already rocking your body hard. The sound of skin slapping only increased arousal, and once he hit your g-spot, you knew you were about to be sent over the edge.
“Come for me, darling,” he hissed into your ear knowingly, nibbling on the tip of it sensually; you sometimes hated how well he knew your body, but how could he not at this point? The two of you had been having sex for years. You let yourself release, your chest heaving from how breathless you were, whimpering as you felt him come inside you. He often had when the two of you were dating, considering you were on birth control, and so you were not so worried about it now; if anything, it felt good, and you let out a slow and somewhat shaky sigh as you let your body relax, straightening up as he pulled out of you. Turning around, you gave him a breathess smile, barely chewing on your lower lip. “That… was definitely not part of our whole break up plan,” you murmured, and he chuckled huskily, leaning down to pull his underwear and pants up again. “No, no it was not, but what’s the fun in having a plan, really?” Still, he sighed, running his fingers through his hair afterwards as he picked up your towel from the floor to gently wrap it around your frame. “We’ll work on it. Alright? We’ll be fine. No harm in, you know, fucking like rabbits every now and then.” You scoffed as you playfully gave his chest a light shove, but couldn’t help but smile, especially upon seeing his own cross his lips. “We can’t do this anymore, Tony,” you insisted, even though your own tone sounded like you couldn’t even fully convince yourself. “We’re gonna be good. Starting now.” You bent over to pick up your clothes from the floor before stepping around him, making your way to the room you were sleeping in. He followed after you with a loud sigh, but suddenly reached forward to give your ass a slap underneath the towel. You squealed and turned your head back, looking at him in shock.
He gave you a nonchalant grin but lifted his hands up in defense. “Right. Starting now.”

I have this idea for myself but it's generic enough that anyone can write it. Where Peter takes care of Tony's wounds, bruises, etc. Or seeks out help from someone to do it, idk. But Peter doesn't like Tony acting like his wounds aren't a big deal, because "hey you don't have super healing like I do so please stop pretending you do".
“Mr. Stark!” Peter greets as he bursts enthusiastically into the lab. “I had this amazing idea earlier today and—”
He stops abruptly, taking in the sight before him with wide eyes. Tony groans and looks up at the ceiling with irritation.
“FRIDAY, I thought I told you to lock the doors,” Tony grits out.
“Actually, what you said was, ‘Keep Pepper out so she doesn’t try to kill me for almost getting killed. I’ve already filled my quota on attempts on my life for the day.’ Sorry, boss,” the AI responds, not sounding sorry at all. “Perhaps next time you should clarify.”
“That’s it,” Tony announces. “I’m scrambling all your data. You’re too much like me. Can’t have too much of a good thing. Pete, are you alive, buddy?”
Peter slowly puts his backpack down, unable to tear his eyes away from the bloody mess around Tony. For all his nonchalance, Tony’s clearly in pain as he tries to stop the bleeding coming from his shoulder while using the hand of his injured arm to open a First Aid kit.
“What—what happened?” Peter asks, trying to keep the panic out of his voice.
Tony grimaces. “Knives are sharp,” he says, as if that explains anything. “It looks worse than it is.”
And yeah, it looks pretty bad. There are a couple bloody cloths littering the floor, and Tony’s hands are covered in a sickening red.
Peter walks over and bends down to study Tony’s shoulder. “May I?” he asks, gesturing for Tony to move the cloth he’s holding to the wound.
“Go for it, Dr. Parker,” Tony jokes before hissing when Peter prods at the gash. “Jesus, kid, be careful, will you?”
“I barely touched it,” Peter says, rolling his eyes, but gentles his touch nonetheless. He carefully places the cloth back before shifting his gaze to where Tony’s fumbling with the First Aid kit. “God, no—here, give it,” he commands exasperatedly, snatching the kit from him and peering at the wound again. “You need stitches,” he decides.
Tony flinches away at that. “Don’t be dramatic, kid. Just slap a band aid on it, and I’ll be as good as new.”
Peter stands up and fixes him with a serious look. “Hey, you don’t have super healing like I do, so don’t pretend you do.”
Tony rolls his eyes. “No need to brag.”
“I’m not,” Peter huffs, grabbing the suture kit and readying the supplies. “Just—you always get mad at me for trying to brush off my injuries. It’s only fair if I do it back.”
“Whoa, who’s the adult here?” Tony protests.
“If I may, sir, if we’re going by levels of maturity, I would say that Mr. Parker surpasses you by far,” FRIDAY cuts in.
“You may not,” Tony snarks back. He eyes Peter wearily as he bends to pull the thread through the wound. “Since when can you do stitches, anyway?”
“Technically? I can’t,” Peter says right as he pulls the needle through. “But I helped May sew a quilt made out of Ben’s old t-shirts last summer and that’s basically the same thing.”
Tony lets out a big breath. “Cool, cool. So I’m probably gonna die.”
“Yeah, probably,” Peter agrees. “But really it’s your fault for letting a teenager do your stitches.”
Tony barely manages to refrain from whirling to give the kid an incredulous look. “You little—”
“I’m joking, I’m joking!” Peter amends hastily, and Tony calms again, pouting childishly.
For a moment, they sit in silence as Peter works with calm, steady hands, and Tony is suddenly struck by the strangeness of the situation. Tony’s used to picking Peter up, putting him back together after bad patrols, and the role reversal throws him off for a second.
“I was joking about the quilt thing, too,” Peter says after awhile. “I mean, we did sew a quilt out of Ben’s old shirts, but that’s not—that has nothing to do with me being able to do stitches.”
“Oh?” Tony prompts, not entirely surprised. Peter’s hands are too confident than for this to be his first time doing stitches.
“Yeah. Sometimes Ben would get roughed up at work—you know, being an officer and all—but he’d always, like, brush off medical attention, and sometimes he’d come home with pretty nasty gashes and stuff. So I used to watch May stitch him up, and I was weirdly fascinated and just dying to learn. So May finally caved and taught me how,” Peter explains.
If Tony’s surprised by how forthcoming Peter’s being about his uncle, who the kid rarely mentions, he doesn’t show it. “Hm. I can’t decide whether I find that heartwarming or horrifying,” he comments.
Peter laughs. “Both?” he suggests as he finishes up. “Aaaaaand there we go! Good as new. Well, as close as you can get without having super awesome healing powers.”
Tony rolls his eyes but smiles fondly, giving his shoulder a look of approval. “Doesn’t look like I need any healing powers,” he says. “I’ve got you. Not that this is going to be a regular occurrence. Stitching people up is my job.”
“No, no, I get it,” Peter says cheekily. “You’re getting old, your reflexes are slower...”
“Hey—”

Sleeping Together
Pairing: Tony Stark x Reader
Warnings: Questionable fluff??? One bad word ;))) (This is written after Pepper said that she would leave Tony, but Tony let Pepper leave.)
Summary: You and Tony Stark were sent on a mission together, but since S.H.I.E.L.D. forgot to provide accommodations, you decided to take matters into your own hands.
Authors Note: This is a writing challenge by @buckyismymainman in celebration for their 1k followers! My prompt was; “There was one bed!! *gasp*” This is my first-time writing fanfiction, and I know that my writing is terrible. But I did it for fun anyways and I did have fun writing it. (Although I was SO stressed out bc I’m gonna be judged on my skills) Congrats on getting 1k followers!!! Keep doing what you do and be happy doing it!!!! 💕💕
Also, special thanks to @superbanananinja234 for being my first reader and my personal hype man or else idk if i would’ve posted this. I love you 3k ;)))
Word Count: 2k
Nick Fury had decided to assign you and Tony Stark on the same mission, something about needing twice the amount of brains for the mission. Nick had also assigned Natasha and Clint on another mission, and since it was on the way to their mission location, both of you decided to take the same Quinjet as Natasha and Clint, so that you would be able to joke around with Natasha and get closer to Clint before the four of you went on your different ways.
The moment you found out that you were going on a mission with Tony, you were ecstatic. You always sneaked glances at Tony, whenever he was working out, tinkering around, or taking charge of Stark Industries. Thanks to your training, you were able to escape under his radar for a long time, until you had to spend time alongside him. Sure, he made it hard, because he pretended to not care about anyone, but you knew that he was the most caring person to everyone that he cared about.
Now, Tony Stark had everything he could ever want in the world, and if he didn’t have it, all he had to do was ask for it. Whatever he had was understandably luxurious, as is befitting of someone with a billionaire status. However, since young, he had learnt to close himself off to everyone, and misdirect everyone if he ever needed to do something sneaky, so if he cared about someone, he cared about them. He remembered everything everyone said, just to keep himself safe from imminent danger.
After Natasha and Clint had dropped you and Tony off, you both slowly come to the realisation that S.H.I.E.L.D. decided to not provide suitable enough lodging (according to Tony, at least), both of you went to find the nearest hotel. Except for the fact that this was in a weird part of Earth, and there weren’t any hotels at all, let alone five-star ones.
“Why don’t we just go to a nearby motel or whatever instead? It’s only one night.” You ran after Tony as he took off stomping. “Look, I’ll get a Google maps to the nearest motel up and running quick.” As quickly as you said that, he turned around and pushed a finger square into the middle of your chest, staring into your [E/C]. You stared back, and batted your eyelashes, albeit playfully. “Yes, Tony?”
Tony opened his mouth, but before he could say anything, a notification sound came from your phone. “Hey! There’s a motel nearby! Let’s go! You need to charge your suit anyway, right?” You grabbed his arm and pulled him along. He shut up immediately and threw his free arm up in disapproval before trudging after you silently and unwillingly.
“[Y/N], you know I don’t like to sleep in foreign areas.” He eventually spoke up, but not before you both reach the motel.
“It’ll be fine, TonyTones--”
“Do not call me that, [Y/N].”
“Besides, we’re already here, so let's just get a room with two beds, in case you do fall asleep.”
“I will not fall asleep. I’ve got things to do before we continue with the mission tomorrow.”
You shrugged, and headed towards the receptionist, asking if they had a room with two beds.
“Yes, we do, actually. Room 204. Just turn right and head forward. For how many nights?”
“Just this one, than--”
“Make it two.” Tony spoke up from behind you and handed the receptionist his credit card with a wink. The receptionist blushed hard and coughed while inputting some details. They then handed Tony the keys, who in turn, smirked at the receptionist, and gave them a silent ‘thank you’ before turning around and ushering you towards the rooms.
“Tony, why are we staying another night?” You inquired as you both walked towards the room, Tony playing with the key in his hand.
“Well, with me being the best Avenger and everything, I decided to be thoughtful and thought that you would need another day to rest before heading back to the HQ. Totally not because I have something else to do here the next night…” Tony mumbled the last part and attempted to insert the key into the keyhole. You tapped your foot lightly to an invisible song while waiting for him.
“TonyTones, are you not done with the door? I thought you were a genius engineer, what happened?” You laughed lightly at your own joke.
“[Y/N], I told you not to call me that, and the fucking key doesn’t fit the keyhole.” Tony revealed, and you took the key out of his hands.
“Language.” You opened the locked door effortlessly, and scoffed at him. Tony rolled his eyes, muttering something about ‘still being smarter than you’, and you laughed. You walked in, not before stopping at the doorway.
“Oh Jesu— Hey, Ms ‘I-Think-I’m-Smarter-Than-Tony-Stark’, don’t just stop in the middle of the hallway!” You stumbled forward, your back hurting a little.
“Tony, there’s only one bed.” You gasped out, and Tony shrugged.
“It doesn’t matter, I have things to do tonight before the mission tomorrow, remember? I’m pretty sure I told you that I wasn’t going to be sleeping.” He pushed past you and immediately set his suit up to charge. You proceeded to lie down on the bed and sighed.
“And I’m pretty sure I told you that sleep is good for you, oh like, at least a million times now, Tony.” You retorted, but Tony being Tony, he just shrugged. Lack of sleep seemed to do Tony well, but not so much for yourself. Damn you, unfair genetics.
After a nice shower, you sat down beside Tony, who was tinkering with his suit. You never knew what he was doing, going on about transistors and capacitors. Tony had changed into his tanktop, which, in his defence, was ‘the single most comfortable thing to wear, second of which is my suit’. You thought it looked stupid until he busted out his sunglasses. He looked even stupider, and you cracked up laughing.
But, god. Tony looked so good in everything he wore, but somehow, he looked even better in a tanktop. His muscles bulged as he tightened some bolts in his suit. You had to physically turn yourself away so that the weird fantasies in your head will stop. “I’m gonna be sleeping now, Tones, good night!” You said loudly, and pulled the blanket over yourself.
“Good night kid, good job today. You did great. Get some rest.” Tony said softly, not breaking eye contact with whatever he was soldering. He rewired some parts of his suit, and tested out his blaster, without letting the blast loose, in case you woke up from that. After that, he flipped through the files about the mission that was about to happen the next day, before looking over at the bed. He was functioning off of one cup of coffee, and two cups of whiskey. Both of which he took before you both left Stark Tower for the current mission. Which was at least a good twelve hours before this.
Tony could feel himself crashing, but he didn’t want to intrude on your peaceful sleep. Therefore, he grabbed a couple of pillows and put it between both of you, before falling asleep on the bed the moment he laid down.
You woke up in the middle of the night, tangled in someone else’s arms and legs. Trying to pull your arm out, Tony pulled you into a tight hug instead. Looking up to a sleeping Tony, you tried to wriggle free, but his grip was hard.
“Jarvis, you there?” You spoke to the suit, as much as you could possible, being tangled in the arms of Tony.
“Yes, [Y/N]. Do you need help waking up Mr Stark? I’m sure he will let you go the moment he wakes up.”
“It’s fine, just tell him the next time he wants to hug me, he can just do it awake.” Jarvis made a sound of confirmation. Your nose itched, so you sniffed. God, what kind of aftershave did he use, because he smelled SO good. You decided that it wasn’t that bad, and fell asleep soon enough again, feeling safe and secure in his arms.

Eventually, Tony woke up to an alarm, with a sore arm. He groaned, and found one arm below you, with the other on you, as if he was hugging you. Wait, he is hugging you. You were hugging him a little, too, with your legs tangled underneath his. It’s been awhile since he had gotten a good night’s sleep, but he’d never have thought that the reason for his good night’s sleep would’ve been you. You snored softly under him, and he smiled. He tightened his hug, and snuggled against you.
You soon woke to the same alarm, as Tony was snuggling against you. Thinking that it was a dream, you closed your eyes again and leaned closer, before snapping up immediately. You looked around for your phone, while Tony groaned loudly, a verbal way of expressing his dismay at you leaving his arms.
“Tones! We’re late! C’mon wake up!” You flew out of the bed, and hurried to get dressed properly. When Tony did not move from the bed, you gave him a few light slaps on his abdomen. “TonyTones!!! Get up! I’m not about to disappoint Fury!”
“The next time you call me TonyTones, or Tones, I will make you shut up.” Tony sat up on the bed and pointed a finger at you. You stared back at him and retorted.
“And, Mr. TonyTonyTones, how would you do that?” You cocked your head, a genuine question. You started to think. “Put a finger against my lips? Physically shush me until I keep quiet? Oh! Or would you just cup your hand in front of my mouth instead? Because you and I both know I would very likely lick your hand if you di—"
“I’m... gonna kiss you.” Tony said, with a very ‘as a matter of fact’ tone, without breaking his eye contact with you. “I will kiss you to keep you quiet, and I dare to say this, because I know you like me. I know the way you look at me sometimes, [Y/N].” You were about to say something, but he shoved his index finger against your lips. You looked down at his finger, and he chuckled, then removed his finger.
“So, lemme get this straight. If I call you “TonyTones” again, you’re gonna kiss me? Is that right? What if I called you “LooneyTones”? You know, like “LooneyTun—"
All you saw was that Tony took one step forward, and suddenly his lips were against yours. You tensed up, but slowly started to lean into it after you realised how calm, and yet, demanding, his kiss was. You could feel how soft his tongue was, exploring and gently probing around your mouth, desperate to claim you for his.
You closed your eyes, and took your time exploring every nook and cranny of his mouth. Your hands made its way up to Tony’s shoulders, and tenderly touched his cheek. He slid his arms around your waist, pulling you closer towards him. Moaning softly, he leaned in more, before you broke apart from him.
“Hey Tones, no wait, don’t kiss me.” Tony looked at you, amused, and you carried on. “I mean you can, next time, just not now. Remember we have a mission to do?” You mumbled, while looking at him. He put his hands up in defeat, and went over to his suit, unplugging it from the socket. You’ve learnt that hard way once, when he forgot to unplug his suit and had called it during a mission, it ripped out the wires in the walls.
“Let’s go then, as much as you don’t want to disappoint Fury, I don’t want to disappoint you tonight.” Tony smirked and winked, grabbed the keys from the table, and headed out. You smoothed out your clothes, attempted to calm yourself down, and headed out after him.
