anyway fuck lean staffing fuck just-in-time manufacturing and everything else that contributes to the intentional and profitable precarity of the supply chain. don't you loveee when staffing and inventory and expenses are slashed to absolute minimums such that shareholders can receive endless dividends and do stock buybacks to get even richer forever while the supply chain gets more and more susceptible to shocks and disruptions. but number go up!!! number go up more when you lay off your workers the moment that the demand for their work drops below urgent levels!! everything is about supply chains to me rn so that's how i am processing being laid off but damn. hate to see exactly where you fit into the supply chain and exactly how disposable your labor is!
