woke up & saw a twitter thread someone posted abt letting someone else lose via timeouts on mtg online & getting cursed out and theres people in the comments talking about how they should have done the courteous thing and conceded early like this is the bullshit im talking about with this game! the social expectation that exists to just quit early and let the other person win is so prevalent and so dumb. like im sorry but its a game and the goal is to win and if youre so dumb you make a deck that causes you to lose bc it does a bazillion complex things and you time out or mill yourself or get stuck in an infinite loop why do EYE have to take YOUR L??? like please 🙄
