little snippet of my probably sub par writing oh well i had fun hehehe....

“Blah,” Rory said. “Blah Blah Blah.” She threw a pile of novelty socks in the open suitcase. It bled candy orange and pink lovehearts like an open wound. 

“Mmm.” Lane agreed from the other side of the room. She was carefully taping together a stack of CDs: When the Pawn… and Sgt Pepper’s as bookends. Rory’s bedroom was an explosion of nearly-nineteen years of novels and diaries and cups. Lots and lots of cups.

“I hate packing.” She proclaimed, frowning at a stack of paperbacks, twisting them this way and that, inspecting her jewels. Lunch Poems and The Outsiders and Anne of Green Gables. She tossed them in the case.

“I also hate –” kicking a pair of leather boots out the way, ones that zipped all the way up to her calves. Keep. “ – choosing. Like, what stuff to leave behind. I can’t Lane, I can’t do it!” Rory clutched a stuffed rabbit to her chest. The eye was falling out. 

“Well,” Lane gently pressed the stack of CDs into the bedsheets. They were a dazzling array of untucked corners and bright blue paisley. “That’s why I’m here. To be your ruthless right-hand man.”

Rory hummed, riffling through fourteenth-birthday cards in her desk drawer. “For instance.” Lane cleared her throat. “Do you really want to bring your I love pesto pasta from the annual Stars Hollow pasta eating contest that was cancelled five years ago?” She fingered the sleeve, the bright green stain. Rory snatched it. 

“Duh!” She brought it to her nose. “Mmm, still smells like 1998 and pesto and winning.”

Lane scoffed. “Okay, fine. How about your broken little miss piggy bank? Your half-depleted out-of-date lip smackers set? My grey guitar sweater?”

Rory huffed. “Okay, okay. I get it, I’ll purge.”  Lane put on Parallel Lines. They sat in their respective corners and purged.

Decided to mess around and do some screenshot edits with my Wukong’s markings that he hides a lot of times. I might do more later...

He tends to hide them under glamours just due to the fact the markings along with his eyes have been deemed ‘scary’ by a lot of people in the past. Plus, more marketable as the ‘hero’ you know? A hero can’t be scary after all.

HELLO! I wish I could put this part BEFORE the poll itself but basically here’s where I’m at:

I don’t want to say Soulfell is done because it’s not. I have so much planned out and the story as a whole is a complete idea. BUT I ALSO know myself and I also know how long it took us to get here.

Hundreds of pages and several years of regular updates and we’re barely halfway through my original plan. *stares into the void* I was in my 20s when I started the Soulfell comic. MDNDKFNFKF

ANYWAY. I don’t want to say I’ll never pick the comic pages back up again BUT in case life never stops exploding or my brain never returns to being able to juggle multiple art projects at once, I wanted to give some OPTIONS so you guys at least know how the story goes.

Since I’d rather the rest of the story be out there anyway, no matter what I decide there might still be doodles or the occasional pages that go with whatever I do.

Anyway PLEASE VOTE. I, of course, reserve the right to do what I want :tm: but I truly really want to know what you guys would like more. I’m bad at making decisions dkshdkfndhd

2. rank methods of dying:

number one, drowning. i've always been really in love with the concept of it and when i am to die would like it to be this way. next is freezing, because (and lots of experience in the cold here) after a while it stops hurting after a while. by then it's just like falling asleep. and finally burning. very violent way to die, leaves behind a lot of energy. pros though, it does bring the drama so like...

6. weirdest idea you've had for a fic?

weird is a...well, weird word. because I don't really consider any of my fics to be particularly normal? weird as in - content, probably this OC fic that I won't shut up to you about. weird as in concept - probably the world tipped on its side, mostly because i know that type of story is not like the 'norm' for this fandom space in particular. oh! or lust for a vampire, or the forthcoming all mouth that remains in wip limbo. also a good contender is when you all let me write fic based off Weezer songs and nobody said anything?
