Incoming prompt, if you don't already have enough! Bingqiu or Bingyuan, either is fine. Binghe is in the kitchen, cooking. Sy (or Sy!Sqq) comes up and maybe hugs him from behind while Binghe is forming dumplings or whatever and, for the very first time, jokingly calls him wife. At least he tries to make it sound like he's joking, but it comes across yearning, entirely too serious. Binghe, too, doesn't laugh. It's a bit too close to what he desperately wants to be, it hits way too close to his heart. So theyre both just standing there, silent, testing out the feel of it and being aware that the other one is just as affected.
The feeling of that scene could be tender and a bit fragile and silently intimate, full of unspoken feelings?
But yeah, feel free to disregard that if you don't want to write it or change it as you see fit^^ Have a nice day<3
zar u know i'll always write goodies for u if u ask 😘😘

It - it really had been a joke, Shen Yuan swears! He’d only wanted to poke fun of Luo Binghe a bit, this great and fearsome demonic emperor who’d crossed entire worlds just to stand in Shen Yuan’s dingy kitchen and make dumplings.
Luo Binghe was even wearing that stupid frilly pink apron he’d found shoved in one of Shen Yuan’s drawers - a gag gift that Shen Yuan hadn’t quite worked up the nerve to actually give to Luo Binghe, but that Luo Binghe himself seemed quite pleased with as soon as he’d learned it was, indeed, for him. Dressed up like that, diligently working on dinner hours in advance, wasn’t that basically asking for Shen Yuan to come play with him a bit??
So Shen Yuan had only wanted to have a bit of fun, nothing serious!! Nothing serious, okay?!!

But ah, why was it that when Shen Yuan came up behind Luo Binghe, tugging playfully at the frills of his apron and then dancing his fingers up further to tug at his hair, too -
“What are you, ah, my wife?”
- why was it that his words didn’t sound nearly playful enough for what he was asking?!!
Luo Binghe’s fingers stutter around the dumpling he’d been folding, making it come out a bit lopsided and misshapen. He clears his throat, delicately setting the dumpling down. Shen Yuan still has his hand in Luo Binghe’s hair.
“...Could I?” Luo Binghe asks, a bit too quiet.
“Um!” Shen Yuan says, quickly dropping his hand from Luo Binghe’s hair. “Um!
Sorry, could you
 what, exactly?”
Surely, Luo Binghe didn’t mean - that is, he was probably just asking for permission to menace Shen Yuan a bit in exchange for having been poked fun of, right? Hahahahaha -
Luo Binghe turns his head to peer over his shoulder at Shen Yuan. The angle makes it look like he’s looking out from under his lashes, and the heat of the kitchen seems to have painted his cheeks pink even though the oven isn’t on right now.
“Could I be your wife?” Luo Binghe asks, and Shen Yuan very suddenly feels like all the breath has been punched right out of his lungs. “You - you’d let me marry you?”
Shen Yuan spends several long moments with his mouth flapping open and closed like a fish. That - no way, right??
“I think,” Shen Yuan wheezes, “I think I misheard you?”
Luo Binghe turns around fully to face Shen Yuan. Shen Yuan manages to have one single coherent thought about the way this position - Shen Yuan pressed in close to Luo Binghe, Luo Binghe trapped between him and the counter - really feels like the setup for a bad porno.
“Could I marry you?” Luo Binghe asks again, and - wow! Wow, Luo Binghe’s face is - um! Wow!
“No?” Shen Yuan says, though it sounds strangled and not at all like a firm answer.
“Oh,” Luo Binghe says, and suddenly the expression he’d been wearing before - his eyes blown wide and cheeks pink and his mouth parted just slightly with what could only be apprehension and hope and a thrill - suddenly Luo Binghe looks much, much less happy.
“It’s against the law!” Shen Yuan rushes to clarify, his hands flying up to hover uselessly over Luo Binghe’s cheeks. He wants to - ah, he wants to - to help?? He wants to make that face go back to what it looked like before, ah! “It’s - in this world, um, that is - you couldn’t marry me. Because it’s, uh, against the law.”
Luo Binghe tilts his head, considering. “Marriage?”
“Not all, just - between two. Uh, two men. Or two women. Or - uh, yeah, just the gay ones. Are illegal.”
Luo Binghe draws his bottom lip in, just slightly, chewing on it. Shen Yuan wants to chew on it too. Fuck.
“I could say I’m a girl?” Luo Binghe offers, and Shen Yuan -
Shen Yuan very quickly turns around so he doesn’t have to look at Luo Binghe as he rallies himself. Focus, focus, do NOT think about that -!
“That would be worse,” he manages to get out, embarrassingly breathless. “I mean - uh, they wouldn’t believe you. You’d just end up harassed.”
Luo Binghe hooks his head over Shen Yuan’s shoulder, nosing into his cheek. Shen Yuan shivers, even though he is suddenly several degrees warmer than he’d been seconds ago.
“But if it was allowed,” Luo Binghe says, his breath fanning over Shen Yuan’s cheek, “I could marry you? I could be your wife?”
Shen Yuan’s knees buckle. Luo Binghe, ever attentive, catches him around his waist before he can really fall, and pulls him in even closer. The line of their bodies pressed together - Shen Yuan’s thighs, his hips, the whole length of his back - feels unbearably warm.
Marriage feels - that’s a lot. Of everything. A lot of Luo Binghe - Luo Binghe would want to spend his whole life with Shen Yuan - a lot of - well, marriage seems quite a bit more gay than just roommates who share a bed and all their meals and sometimes get each other off.
“Please?” Luo Binghe asks, and - fuck!!
“Yes!” Shen Yuan says, as if the answer has been punched right out of him. “Yes, yes, of course - I mean, if you’d really want - I mean, we can’t, but -”
Luo Binghe presses a wet kiss on Shen Yuan’s cheek, humming happily. Shen Yuan’s jaw snaps closed with an audible click.
“Okay,” Luo Binghe says, pulling away from Shen Yuan. He doesn’t take his hands off Shen Yuan just yet, which Shen Yuan is grateful for - he isn’t quite sure he’d be able to stand on his own, right now.
“Okay,” Shen Yuan repeats, far more breathlessly than Luo Binghe.
Luo Binghe hums again, clearly amused, and then uses his grip on Shen Yuan to lift him and place him on an empty, mostly clean of flour section of the kitchen counter.
“Sit here,” Luo Binghe says, patting Shen Yuan’s knee. “Your wife is going to go get Xin Mo from the closet, and then we will go visit my world for a bit.”
“For - for how long?” Shen Yuan splutters, off balance from the seemingly non-sequitur and not at all from Luo Binghe calling himself ‘wife.’
“For about as long as it takes to get married,” Luo Binghe answers, grinning wide, and -
Ah. Fuck. I’ve been played, Shen Yuan despairs, and then has to slap his hands over his face so he can pretend he doesn’t have a grin just as big and stupid on his own face.

Hi. *shuffles feet* Been a while. Might still be a bit yet before I start posting regularly again. Long of the short? Had a bit of mental break and needed a break. Slowly easing my way back into things. Slowly.
Tumblr media
Obligatory picture of Mara, taking the youngest to school. Her favorite thing, next to eating ❀.
Anyway, heart is still in a stranglehold by Joel. Pedro as Joel is NOT helping, as he does 😏.
And what really prompted this, was one of my original heartbreakers from when I was a teen, in combination with one of my most favorite characters in comics are coming together again to expand on their time together in the Savage Land đŸ« đŸ« đŸ« đŸ« đŸ« .
Tumblr media
Is it January yet đŸ€€đŸ€€?
Uncanny X-Men 269, 274 & 275 were my favorites when they came out. Rogue was already my favorite character among Storm and Nightcrawler, but this story really captured her essence. She was depowered, just arrived out of Siege Perilous, no one else around, and is attacked by the Mauraders. She uses Gateway's ability to escape but ends up in the land of dinos, fighting Carol Danvers, and being saved by the missing Magneto?! Who Jim Lee really could draw đŸ€€đŸ« . It's a great story, and I recommend it.
And now, this January, they are revisiting that story to fill in some gaps. I do hope they don't do any retcons. There is enough hate from Rogue/Gambit shippers as it is, that if they even get a hint of Magneto anywhere near Rogue, they explode. It's like, dude, fucking chill. Gambit has been the end game all along. We all knew it from the moment the Cajun first laid eyes on her. They are married now. If ya'll don't stop, I'm gonna start hating a favorite couple of mine... and it's not the one you want.
Also, no retcons in this, because, well, Magneto is the king of retcons, and I am tired of it. The major being his children Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. Sorry, not sorry, you cannot still draw Pietro like Max, and say Max did not birth that boy. Nope. Even acts like him, still. It's Max Eisenhardt, Jr. So, no retcons. Don't cheapen the Legacy romance nor ruin things in the ROMY world.
Seeing more of Magneto helping Rogue figure out what is wrong with her powers, please! The man is a fucking genius. Self-taught in so much, too! Let the man show off! Part of what makes him so hot đŸ”„.
I want to see Colossus' son. Other than a blip here and there, we saw him last in the 80s, I think? Even if it's in passing with the tribes Ka-zar and Shanna are helping, just something!!!! The X-Men know he’s there. WTF happened to him?! This would be perfect for it.
Zaladane. More backstory, please. We were never given 100% yea or nea if she is, in fact, another of Magneto's children or what her exact connection to Polaris is. Not sure what I want, other than closure. This is as close to a return for the character as we're gonna get, and I will enjoy every minute.
I read a good chunk of Tim Seeley's run on Nightwing, and he's good. There is hope that this just won't be a wet dream of a scantily clad chick with two half nekkid guys and dinosaurs! Dick Grayson is a pretty complex character, as are Rogue and Magneto, so I feel they are in good hands.
As a few who are reading this know, I've been looking for pre-order information. I still haven't found any. But I did find an exact release date for issue #1 -
Tumblr media
January 15, 2025. It's already on my calendar. I will probably blow my husband's mind and buy both digital and physical on this straight away. I always get digital on the Kindle and use the points I earn to buy more digital, which saves me tons of $$$$. Then, I will buy the TPB or individual issues of the books I want. It's rare I go straight in. But I want more Rogue stories, and this is how you get more Rogue stories.
Hope all that was understandable. Thanks to a stupid change in insurance, I am without one of my meds, and I am feeling it. Lack of sleep, high anxiety levels, and a breakthrough migraine that won't stop. I may not have been all that coherent 😄. Anyway, love you bitches. I am making my way back. Slowly.

Apparently I'm on a chibi craze, lol. First was Zar, now--this one is for @lopsushi , with their Yandere Wukong! Enjoy your unhinged little bastard in miniature lol.
Some fun things about this:
It's probably hard to see, but Wukong does have blood on his sleeve. My camera just didn't pic it up well.
I originally just had him admiring a pic of Mac, but that didn't feel unhinged enough, so I added a bit of light murder.
I made the kiss marks on the picture by vaguely drawing lip marks on my pinkie and stamping it on the picture lol.
I added Mac last minute, and that's why he's so lazy.
No offense to the little guy, but I didn't want him to be tooooo noticeable--so I gave Wukong a nice black outline too.
Anyway, this community has been super kind so far, so thank you for all the likes on my writing, guys! Hope to write more soon. I have... ideas > : D

Pairing: Jedi!OC x Sith!Obi Wan
Word Count: 4.5K+
Story Rating: E (18+)
Chapter Rating: Just assume they’re all E at this point.
Warning: Swearing. Threats of violence. Mentions of death/dying. Mention of war. Drugging. Snark. Angst. (I mean seriously if you know me you know angst is gonna happen)
A/N: This is the beginning! If you haven’t read Hypnotic this story isn’t going to make much sense to you. If you have read Hypnotic, welcome back! I hope you’re ready to be sad lol. Anyway, enjoy and let me know if I missed any tags!
“Darling, you can’t be serious. There is no way that you’re going.”
“I am being serious, and I am going. This isn’t really a discussion. I’ve already made up my mind.”
“Explain it to me. Please?”
Zara sighed and sat down next to her husband. Obi Wan smiled at her softly, brushing her hair back.
“Mace called me. Palpatine got loose which shouldn’t surprise anyone. I wouldn’t care but.. he took Cody.”
“Cody? Who the hell is Cody?”
They both looked up to Anakin walking in, a four-year-old Leia on his hip.
“Zara!”
She slipped down Anakins leg and bolted into Zara’s arms. She laughed and giggled as Zara held her close and spun her.
“Oh, my beautiful little Leia. Couldn’t let your daddy go without you?”
“Nope! Gotta watch him. Mama says so.”
Anakin rolled his eyes but laughed.
“I came here to help you, Obi Wan, but if that slimeball took Cody there is no talking her out of it.”
“The clone?”
“My friend.”
Zara snapped and glared at the blonde. He held his hands up defensively and sat back, crossing one leg over the other.
“Yeah, Oh-bee. Her friend!”
Zara laughed and kissed the girls cheek.
“That’s right. You get it. We protect our friends, no matter what.”
“No matter what!”
Zara set Leia down who immediately ran around the room getting into everything. Anakin sighed but Zara motioned for him to let her go. Out of the two, Leia was the well behaved one. She was busy but it was more out of curiosity than breaking anything. Luke was more likely to break things just to see how they worked.
“The question I have is why you didn’t call me to help you.”
“Mace was very clear that neither you nor Obi Wan were welcome on this mission.”
“So, you’re working for the Jedi. Again.”
“No, sweetheart. I am helping them get my friend to safety. We all know how dangerous Palpatine is.”
“All the more reason for me to be by your side.”
“Can’t say I disagree with the Sith, Zar.”
Zara rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.
“No. Both of you will stay here. Anakin you have a family now. Your kids and wife are top priority. I’m not letting you get dragged into Jedi shit again. And you, my love, don’t play nice.”
“How rude, darling.”
“Rude, but correct. You don’t play nice with the Jedi and frankly I’m not letting you get near Palpatine again. He controlled you once.”
“So, you don’t trust me.”
Anakin cleared his throat and called for Leia. She ran over and jumped into his arms, holding on tightly.
“C’mon sweetheart. Aunt Zar needs to talk to her domesticated Sith.”
“Mama says you need to be nice to uncle Oh-Bee.”
“Well, mama isn’t here.”
“Good thing I am so I can tell her how mean you are to Aunt Zar’s husband who she loves very much.”
“It’s complicated, Leia.”
“Nope. Everyone duh-serves forgiveness, daddy. Plus, he makes Aunt Zar happy.”
Anakin sighed and looked at Zara for help, but she crossed her harms and shrugged.
“And don’t say its com-pluh-cated. You made Aunt Zara cry before. She forgave you. So, you should be nice.”
“You sound a lot like your mother.”
“Good! She’s the smartest person I know.”
Zara chuckled as Anakin sighed, defeated, and left the small home. She turned back to Obi Wan who had been watching her.
“We have a good life, Zara.”
“I agree.”
“Then why are you leaving?”
She sighed and let her shoulders slump slightly.
“Obi Wan, Cody meant a great deal to me. We worked together for a long time. I know that you don’t really work with anyone or play nice. It’s just when you work with someone for so long they become like family to you.”
“Not to be rude, but you left him before.”
“I left the entire order. I trusted the Jedi to keep the clones safe. They were to have their inhibitor chip removed and retired with honor. That isn’t what happened.”
“Well, your first mistake was trusting the Jedi.”
She sighed in frustration and got up off the couch. She put more things in her bag before turning to look at her husband.
“I need you to trust me. I need you to understand that a friend needs help.”
“And I need you to understand, my darling, that I know Sidious better than anyone on the Jedi counsel. What do you plan to do? Waltz in and tell him to give you your clone back and go back to jail?”
“Of course not.”
“Then what are you doing, Zara? This is reckless.”
“You wouldn’t save a friend if they were in danger?”
“I don’t have friends.”
“You wouldn’t save Anakin?”
“Absolutely not.”
Zara scowled and crossed her arms.
“Obi-Wan!”
“You could have picked anyone else we know, and I would have at least hesitated. That’s on you for choosing Anakin. It’s not like we’re the best of friends.”
“You wouldn’t save Padme? The twins?”
“I wouldn’t save them without you. I wouldn’t even dream of going without you.”
“Palpatine controlled you once.”
“Sidious had control; it was not over me. If you recall I convinced him not to kill you and tricked him into thinking that you were becoming my obedient little plaything. I tricked him at every corner, and he had no idea until the very end. Tell me I am wrong.”
She fell silent, looking at him with sadness written all over her face.
“Then tell me what the true problem is. Tell me that you’re afraid I’ll feel the dark side too strongly and go back. This has nothing to do with me not playing nice. It has everything to do with the Jedi playing into your fear of the very darkness that I carry inside of me and using it to control you. How can you not see that?”
“It doesn’t matter.”
“Which part?”
Zara looked down at her feet and chewed at her bottom lip.
“None of it. Cody needs my help. If I want the help and the resources needed to help him, I must do it their way. I love you with all my heart. I truly do. Is there some truth to what you said? Yes. I think I’ll always be afraid of you turning fully to the dark and not needing me anymore. The darkness does scare me. I’ve never said anything contrary to it. Your darkness doesn’t scare me though.”
“If you trust me, then you have to also trust that darkness, Zara.”
“I have to do this, Obi Wan.”
“You really don’t. You can’t change my mind of this.”
“Then I guess we’re at an impasse.”
Obi Wan stood up and walked to her, placing his hands gently on her arms.
“I know nothing that I say will stop you from going. I’ve known the entire time we’ve discussed this. Just know that I strongly think you should take me with you. We’re stronger together. Always have been, even if we didn’t want to admit it at the time.”
“I have to do this.”
He nodded and kissed her forehead, holding her close to him.
“Come back to me.”
“Wouldn’t dream of not coming back to you.”
“Don’t make me come looking for you either.”
She laughed and wrapped her arms around his torso, resting the side of her face on his chest.
“I mean it, Zara. I will tear this galaxy apart before I let anyone, or anything keep us apart.”
“I believe you.”
“Good. Just don’t ever let yourself forget that.”
XXX
Zara stepped down the ramp of her ship and pulled her saber into her hand, igniting it. She looked at the burned orange hue of it and thought of the man waiting for her. When she had settled onto Naboo, one of the first things she did was make a saber with the crystal he had given her at the ball.
Now she was glad for it. It reminded her of him and everything that she was always fighting for. It wasn’t as beautiful as his eyes, but it was close enough to bring her some peace. She wasn’t thrilled about not having him there, but she knew it was the best thing she could do.
She thought about their argument quite a bit on her trip. Obi Wan had been right about her fear. She feared losing him more than she feared losing her own life. The last thing she wanted to happen was for Palpatine to get his hands on him again. She couldn’t risk it.
The same went for Anakin. He had already twisted him beyond breaking once. He had no training with the darkness that he now carried. She had wondered if Obi-Wan could teach him but never brought it up. They didn’t get along and it came down to how much the darkness scared her.
It hurt her heart how much Obi-Wan was hurting. She didn’t do it to harm him, but it didn’t change that it did. Zara desperately wanted to get Cody to safety and go back to her life. They both deserved to be done fighting and yet there she was fighting another battle for the Jedi.
She made her way down the hallway and felt through the force. She sighed when she felt a familiar signature and moved into a wide-open room. In the middle of the floor was Cody, hands bound in front of him. Zara looked around to check for any traps but when she didn’t see any, she walked to her old friend.
“General?”
“Just Zara, Cody. I’m not a general anymore.”
“You.. you shouldn’t have come.”
“Of course, I did. You’re my friend. As soon as I found out you were missing, I came.”
“You don’t understand, General. That’s exactly what he wanted.”
“Who? Palpatine?”
“I’m so sorry.”
She knelt down to look at him and picked his head up to look at her gently. Her eyes widened when she saw that he had tears brimming his eyes.
“Cody, why are you sorry? We’ve talked about this in depth. I don’t care that you’re a clone. You mean-“
“I’m not the only one that knows your soft spot for clones, General. I can’t.. I’m so sorry.”
Before Zara could ask him what was wrong, she felt a jab in her arm. She looked down to see Cody sticking a syringe into her arm and push the plunger down all the way. She yanked her arms away and fell backwards onto her butt.
“Cody?”
“I told you.. you shouldn’t have come. I’m so sorry, General.”
The binders fell off Cody’s wrists and he stepped forward, pulling Zara up into his arms. The world was spinning so she shut her eyes, desperately wanting it to stop.
“I have her, sir.”
“Very good, CC-2224. Just as I expected. Bring her here. Destroy her ship before you do.”
“Yes, sir.”
Zara lost consciousness as Cody carried her to his ship. He set her down gently, placing her saber on his waist. Once she was settled, he walked over to her ship and looked through her belongings. He pulled out a few holo pictures that he clicked on. A small smile spread on his lips when he saw Anakin alive and well with Padme and two children. The other ones were of her and the Sith that had taken her. He had been worried when he first heard she had left the order with him but was assured it was her choice.
“You look so happy, General. Exactly what you should be.”
He closed his hands around the holos and slipped them into his pocket. He glanced at the dashboard and saw the emergency signal. He hesitated then reached past it, “accidentally” hitting the emergency button. When he stood up walked outside and waited.
“Stars, I hope that signal gets to someone.”
After a few moments he stepped back and shot at the fuel tank, exploding the ship as instructed. Once he made his way back into the ship and checked on Zara, he hit the coordinates for where he needed to go.
“I know you can’t hear me, General. I just hope you know I wouldn’t do this unless I had any other choice. I’ll do what I can to keep you safe. Hopefully General Skywalker and your Sith can find you in time.”
Once they were into hyperspace, he pulled her saber from his waist and looked at it. It was new from what he remembered, but still beautifully made. He expected nothing less from his former General.
He thought back on the first time he saw her. She showed up to command his troops with a smile on her face. He initially thought that she was going to be a weak leader and weakness meant death to clones. He had been so wrong.
She was the first Jedi to show compassion towards him and his men. She grieved their deaths just as much as he did. Nights when he was up wrestling with the pain of losing someone, she was always right by his side. She didn’t need to; the mission was always finished. She wanted to. She wanted them all to know that they were all individual people to her, regardless of where they came from.
She made it easy to run into the heat of battle. It wasn’t that he didn’t ever want to. He believed in his own fighting and trusted his brothers. It just came down to the fact that he wasn’t fighting for her. He was fighting alongside her.
He ignited the blade and widened his eyes when a new color came out. He didn’t know the particulars of the Jedi and their blades, but he had never seen a blade that color before. Cody looked down at his hand holding the hilt and frowned.
He had hurt her. What was even worse was the possibility that she would never forgive him for what he did. The chip had been deactivated before Order 66 could be initiated but somehow Sidious still had a hold over him. He had gotten close enough to him to activate it just enough to make him obedient. He glanced back at Zara asleep and shook his head.
“We will find a way to get out of this, General. We always do. Somehow, we will get you back to your happiness. Maybe I’ll even find a bit of it myself.”
He chuckled to himself and shook his head again.
“Look at me, thinking a clone can be anything more than a tool. You’d think I’d learn by now. Although you’d be yelling at me for even thinking that. Stars, General, I hope you don’t hate me forever for this.”
XXX
Mace sat in the council chambers alone. The last thing he wanted to do was call up Zara, but he didn’t see any other option. Once the war was ended, the Jedi no longer had the authority to do anything without the government’s approval. He knew that they wouldn’t send them for a single clone. As far as they were concerned Palpatine was no longer a threat. Not that the Jedi agreed with that at all.
When his coms went off with Zara’s emergency signal, he felt his chest get heavy. It ended just as quickly as it was received, but he knew the longer it took for her to message or call him, the worse that was. She had a propensity to bump into buttons, but she always called. He tried to call and was met with no answer. Master Yoda walked into the room and looked at him.
“Her signal went off then immediately went dead.”
“Feel it, do you? A great darkness, there is.”
“Yes. I feel it. It has to be Sidious.”
“Mmm. Yes. Suspect him, I do.”
“I’m going to have to reach out to Anakin and Veth.”
“Go. In much danger, she is.”
XXX
Obi-Wan sat in his home, reading the same book for the third time. As much as he wanted to reach out to Zara, he didn’t want her to think he was trying to distract her or force her back home. It was killing him though. Even just hearing her voice would make him feel better. He looked up from his book when he heard a ship land close by. Before he could stand up, Anakin was bursting into the house.
“Sith, it’s the Jedi.”
“Is Zara with them?”
“It’s only Master Windu.”
“Shit.”
He followed the younger man outside just in time to see Windu walking closer. He clenched his jaw, not wanting to see the Master Jedi at all.
“Anakin. Veth.”
The three men looked to the side as Padme and the twins came running out of their home.
“Wow, even your children are strong with the force.”
Anakin stepped in front of Mace and set his jaw; his hands balled into fists at his side.
“Don’t even look at them. They will never be hurt by you or the council.”
“I’m not here for your children, Anakin.”
“Where is my wife.”
Mace turned to look at Veth who was standing with his arms crossed over his chest. He still looked just as cocky to Mace as he had when he was a child, but the darkness swirling around him was new. It was the first time they had faced each other, other than through a holo communication.
“We should go inside. Small ears don’t need to hear this conversation.”
Anakin glanced over at Obi-Wan, who nodded back at him. Anakin looked back at Padme and gave her a tight smile before following Obi-Wan into the house. Once Mace made it through the door, Obi-Wan used the force to slam it behind him, smirking when the master Jedi jumped.
“If it weren’t for the children, you wouldn’t be welcome in this home. Now tell me, where is my wife and why is she not here with you?”
“She made it to where we though Sidious was with the clone trooper.”
“Cody.”
“What?”
“His name is Cody. You sent my wife to find him and don’t even have the courtesy to use the name she knows him by.”
Mace rolled his jaw and sighed.
“Cody. My apologies. She made it there safely and sent a communication she was heading inside the building. From there, we lost contact. Soon after, her emergency signal reached us and turned off within a few seconds.”
“And nothing since?”
“Nothing.”
“Sidious has her. That emergency signal was a mistake. Where is she.”
Obi-Wan was seething. Her being taken was exactly what he was afraid of, and he was completely powerless to change what was happening. The more he thought about how terrible Sidious was and how much she could be hurt, the more the room started swirling with darkness. Mace put his hand on his own saber and took a step back.
“Please calm down, Veth.”
“You called up my wife, the woman that I love more than anything in the galaxy and asked her to go on a fool’s errand with no backup. Then you come here and tell me that Darth Sidious, the most dangerous man I have ever met likely has her. Now you expect me to calm down. After everything you’ve done to me you’re lucky you’re still breathing. Let alone what you’ve done to her. She came to me broken, Master Windu. She came to me lost and afraid that she had lost every bit of her life and soul because she couldn’t live with your lies anymore. You nearly forced her to kill her best friend. Now you sent her into the hands of a madman. Tell me, why in the galaxy should I calm down?”
“I understand that you’re upset.”
Obi-Wan barked out a laugh and crossed his arms again.
“You don’t understand anything that the Jedi didn’t shove down your throat. Tell me where she is. I will go bring her back home where she belongs.”
“I’m going with you.”
Obi-Wan looked at Anakin and frowned. He could feel how unstable Anakin felt. The normal darkness around Obi-Wan he was used to, but the pure rage he was harnessing was drowning him. It wasn’t ever something that was discussed but he would never be able to fully get away from the dark side. It just wasn’t possible.
“You aren’t stable enough, Skywalker.”
Obi-Wan shot his finger out to point at Mace, shaking his head.
“You don’t get to tell him what to do, Mace. The audacity that you Jedi have. It is absolutely astounding that you thought you could walk into my home and tell anyone under this roof what to do.”
“You know he isn’t stable. I can’t be the only one who feels it.”
“What he is or isn’t is no problem of yours. Just give me the coordinates and I will take care of getting Zara back.”
“I want to help.”
“You have done enough. Now, if you will, I have much to do and none of that involves catering to you being in my home. You’re tarnishing the air and I won’t have it a moment longer.”
Mace sighed and shook his head, setting down a data stick with the coordinates and information about the ship she had been using. He thought about asking him how he planned on helping him, but he thought better and walked through the door. Once he left Anakin huffed out a frustrated sigh and grabbed the stick.
“Alright let’s go.”
“You aren’t going.”
“What!?”
Anakin spun around to glare at Obi-Wan.
“You just said-“
“I said he doesn’t get to come into my home and tell anyone what to do. That does not mean I don’t agree with him. You’re unstable. You have been for a long time.”
“I’m fine.”
“Tell me that my darkness didn’t affect you then.”
Anakin opened his mouth a few times and shut it, without uttering a word.
“Exactly. You have a family here that needs you.”
“Zara is my family too, Veth.”
“Stars above I wish you’d stop calling me that.”
Anakin smirked and crossed his arms over his chest.
“Why do you think I call you that?”
“You’re insufferable. I pity your former master. You wouldn’t have lasted five minutes having been my padawan.”
“Oh, I don’t know about that. I’m a lot stronger than you think I am.”
“I gladly would have tossed you off the first cliff we found. I considered it when we found you if I’m being entirely honest. Ungrateful brat that you are. You’re lucky when I shoved you it was to your safety.”
“I still don’t fully believe that was you. I don’t remember you being so smug.”
“No need for you to. It wouldn’t be the first time that you ignored the reality around you to construct fantasies that mean absolutely nothing to anyone else.”
“You’re an ass, do you know that?”
Obi-Wan barked out a laugh as he started gathering his supplies.
“Oh, I’ve been told. The fact of the matter is that you are not stable enough to come with me. I need to focus on Sidious and whatever he has planned. I can’t babysit you through your temper tantrums, reckless behavior and propensity to disobey any form of authority within a parsec of your location.”
Anakin frowned and huffed out a sigh.
“Then teach me.”
“Teach you? If Padme can’t control you, I highly doubt anyone else can.”
“I’ll listen! I’m not asking you to turn me to the dark side. I just.. I’m the only person in this situation that even remotely trusts you. If you would just help me, I can help you then we both can help Zara.”
He sighed and looked at the younger man in front of him. He meant what he had said to Zara: if given the choice he would not save him. He had a point though. He was someone he could trust to at least want to help his wife. After considering it for a moment he sighed and tossed his hands up in the air.
“Fine. Only if you go tell Padme that it is entirely your idea and that I was opposed to it from the beginning. You will listen to me and do as I tell you to. I will teach you how to control yourself at least enough to help Zara. Beyond that, just stay out of my way.”
“Yes! I’ll go grab my bag and let Padme know what is going on.”
Anakin head towards the door but paused when Obi-Wan spoke to him.
“And Anakin? The first time you aggravate me I’m shoving you out the airlock. Don’t think that I won’t either. I’ve killed for less.”

Cody carried a still unconscious Zara into a dark room, only having the very center lit up dimly.
“CC-2224 I see you have returned successfully.”
“Yes, sir.”
The shadow of a man stepped forward, using the force to push Zara’s hair from her face. Cody thought that she looked almost peaceful curled up in his harms, her face resting against his chest.
“You have pleased me, trooper. Now the next part of my plan begins. Take her to her chambers. She is not to leave unless I command it.”
“Sir, am I permitted to stay with her?”
“Yes. Keep her calm. Give her a reason to stay here. Though I don’t expect her to be on board with everything I say, at first, this entire plan is contingent on her falling in line.”
“Yes, sir.”
Cody turned, walking down a long hallway. Once he entered Zara’s chambers, the door shut and locked behind him. Normally it would have made him uneasy, but he was calmer knowing that he wouldn’t be separated from his former general just yet. He placed her down gently into the bed, careful to ensure she would be comfortable.
He pulled up a chair and sat down next to the bed, crossing his arms over his chest. He glanced down at the black armor that he now wore, unsure of how he liked it. He always wore armor, so it wasn’t new. It just made him uneasy at how dark it was.
When he shifted, he felt the holo pictures that he had taken from her ship. He pulled them out and turned on their display, looking at Zara’s family. He felt so much guilt and pain knowing that he was part of the reason she wasn’t home with them. Cody knew that nothing good was going to come from Sidious getting his hands on Zara, but he was determined that he wouldn’t let her forget where she belonged.
“I can’t let you forget something that you always deserved to have, Zara. I just can’t.”
Zara continued to sleep while Cody sat next to her. He was caught between his loyalty for her and his obligation to follow Palpatine. He wanted her to wake up, but he also was afraid of what she was going to say once she realized he had betrayed her.
“You’re so strong, General. If anyone can fix this, it’s you. I believe in you so much. Please have just a little bit of faith in me.”

Severed is good, really, really good
Tumblr media
This book is good. Like, not just good as mild entertainment or such as I normally mean, it has already shot up to join the likes of Jain Zar and Fire Warrior as one of my favourites.
I recommend any Necron fan buy this book, it is cheap and it is basically your only Necron-focused story ever...and it is amazingly well done.
It has one of the most damn hopeful endings from a 40k book I have EVER read and this is coming from Necron!
I don’t want to go into much detail on the plot, honestly read it yourselves, really do, but the story is basically just an excuse for Obyron and Zahndrekh to reaffirm their feelings for each other and both of them are honestly hilarious.
Just some passages that I loved:
Fury blazed like sheet lightning across his engrams, and he had to stop himself smashing a fist through the nemesor’s table.
‘I have nothing but loyalty for Zahndrekh.’
‘Loyalty, Obyron, or  love? Because if you think it’s the latter, you’re as deluded as your master. Biotransference cut away our ability to love, if ever we possessed it. There is no such thing.’
Lost for words, Obyron wondered if the best answer he could offer would be the blade of his warscythe.
Zahndekh also delivers this great line to point out to Obyron that any thinking, feeling being which would go to lengths he would for another simply cannot be said to lack a soul:
Zahndrekh put an arm round him in consolation, and continued.
‘Let me pose you this thought, Obyron, in the hope it will bring you ease. What do you think caused you to hold true to me for all this time – despite all the power you might have enjoyed through betrayal – if it were not a soul? What can love, but a being with a soul?
I also just really like that Zahndrekh is very physically affectionate with Obyron, often touches him and puts an arm around him.
Anyway this book is good. It only has one glaring issue that is annoying, but I’d still recommend it whole-heartedly and it has been very fun to read. I honestly have often found the Necron special characters rather flat compared to the other Xenos factions, but this Novella honestly makes me desperately hope for some more content on this pair.
Also: Zahndrekh x Obyron OTP

Agent Z
A Bucky Barnes Fanfic
Just found this old fic in my drafts folder. Would you guys like a new Bucky Barnes fanfic?
“I shouldn’t be here.”
Bucky rolled his eyes at the girls nervous stature. “Would you relax. Unfold your arms you’re making it obvious.”
“There’s nobody here Buck.” She retorted and continued to rub her cold arms, now speckled with goosebumps as the cold New Jersey air blew over them.
“Alright then no need to worry. Just live a little would you, Porter?” Bucky sent her a wink and began to climb up the timber fencing.
It took Sam a lot of convincing before she finally agreed to go on this one mission. She was no Avenger, hell she had never even been to the gym. But Sam knew she had the skills. She had grown up hacking school computers and rewiring equipment. Now she helped the Avengers track bad guys behind the scenes and even invented a new security software that searches all of the internet to pull bits of coded information that helped them take out three hydra bases.
Zara Porter stood at the bottom of the fence, looking around anxiously, just waiting to get caught. She looked back up at Bucky to see him holding out a metal hand to her. She didn’t exactly trust the wooden fence and decided to take it. He pulled her up with such force that the sudden jolt of heavy weight caused Bucky to fall from the fence and pull Lorelai with him. He landed on the wet grass with a thud and she landing on top of him, her head hitting his chest.
“Sorry...” He groaned out. “Sometimes I underestimate how strong I am.”
She rolled her chin over the soft black hoodie he was wearing until she could see him. His blue eyes met her brown ones and he smirked at her, double shrugging his eyebrows suggestively at their position.
“Before you say anything else, Pervy, just remember who has the extraction location and code word from Sam. I will not hesitate to leave your ass here.”
Bucky nodded and she smiled. She gave him a small tap on the chest before placing her palms on the dewy grass to push herself up.
“Remind me why Sam asked you to come with me again?” Bucky Inquired as he brushed the various strands of grass from his elbows.
Zara sighed and folded her arms once again. “Because Wanda was busy probably.” She shrugged.
“Seriously? Can you just catch me up and give me a bit of info. No joking this time.” Bucky raised a brow at her, telling her that he genuinely wanted to know why she was involved.
“Because I was the one who hacked the security system here. When Sam and Steve were trying to find you, pre-airport bust up, they hired me to hack some files to find you. The other day when going through those files I found that there was still some sort of device here that was giving of signals. Sam wants us to check it out.”
Bucky nodded and muttered a quick thanks. He was more focused on scanning the location. The grass they had fallen on was part of a much bigger field surrounding the army base and a few smaller cabins.
They were caught of guard as the sound of creaking metal sounded throughout the field. Both of them shot to look in the direction of the sound and saw the main door to the army base opening as two soldiers stepped out.
Bucky grabbed Zara’s hand and took of running, pulling her with him for the second time today. He pulled her in front of him and hid her behind the first cabin. He stood just in front of her to peer around the wall.
She knew she need to keep quiet, but just as Bucky watched the men walk towards them a wasp flew onto Zara’s arm and she let out a squeal.
Bucky looked back at her to see her scrunching up her face, trying her absolute best not to scream out in pure fear. He furrowed his brows at her and whispered “Swat it away!”
“No! That’s disrespectful to Hope.” She whisper yelled back and he narrowed his eyes at her. He watched the guys pull out cigarettes and knew he had some time.
Bucky crouched down on the grass beside her leaning back against his knees. His metal finger came up and gently swiped the wasp from her bare arm. The wasp flew up into the air and disappeared into ten elements.
In a soft tone with a gentle smile Bucky asked “Now was that so hard?”
Zara shurgged and finally relaxed and leaned her cold back against the cabin wall. “I guess not.”
Bucky looked down at his hand to see the wasp had left a stinger. The bastard tried to sting me - he thought to himself. He sideeyed Zara And decided to keep that information to himself.
“Yeah were both safe thanks for asking.”
Sam shrugged and looked at Zara. “Girly you alright?”
“All good.” Zara replied monotone, bored from waiting around for so long.
“There we are then.” Sam shrugged. “What do you want Bucky? I’m getting ready for extraction.”
“We haven’t even gotten into the building yet. These two hydra ass’s have been standing here smoking carton after carton. Can you send redwing 112?”
“Sure thing.”
Three minutes later Sam’s favourite little weapon was flying in, bypassing all security cameras (which Zara had hacked and disarmed anyway) and hovering above the hydra operatives disguised as soldiers. Redwing shot out a sedative-filled darts at each soldier, piercing their necks and rendering them unconscious.
Bucky pressed his earpiece and asked Sam to have Redwing scan the building for heat signatures. Sam told him that the building was clear and they were safe to enter.
“Let’s go.” Bucky held out a hand for her and she took it. He pulled her to her feat and gave her a smile. “Try to enjoy this. This is a fun one.” He then took of running towards the base. Zara ran behind, silently cursing herself for getting involved.
The pair made it to the basement where Zara began to trace the signals with her phone. The red dot on the screen showed where the signal was coming from, which evidently was right where she was standing.
“Bucky...” She whispered, too scared move let alone talk loud. Bucky was rifling through boxes, unable to hear her. “Bucky.” She said louder.
“Little busy, Zar.” He shrugged her off. He emptied that box and turned around, seeing her frozen frame his eyes widened and panic surged through him. “What is it?”
She shook her head. “It’s under-“ Before she could finish her sentence the floor caved in and she fell through the ground.
“ZARA!” Bucky screeched. Without thinking he ran to hole in the ground and dived in head first. He was free faking for what felt like forever until he landed on his side on solid ground, covered in rubble.
He began ripping up piles of concrete and bricks surrounding him, yelling her name. “OH GOD. OH GOD OH GOD.” He hadn’t felt this kind of emotion in years. Sure, he worries about Steve and obviously he was concerned for Sam (even if he hid it well) and his other teammates but not enough to throw himself into the danger zone.
He had only known her for a short amount of time, less than a month, but he knew that Sam cared for her very much. She and Wanda are good friends and of course she had other friends and family that love and care about her. He couldn’t let them down, he couldn’t let her down. He didn’t want to admit it but, he also cared for her.
He cut his flesh hand pulling up boards and heavy blocks, he strained his back trying his best to lift a chunk of cement even Steve would’ve struggled with, he sweat through his clothes as adrenaline rushes through him 50x the normal person.
Just as the first tear left his eye, realisation hit him that he may have just lost a colleague to his own poor negligence. He should have responded. He should have kept better eye on her. What was he thinking bringing along a start up Agent. She was briefed on the safety protocols and evac situations but he didn’t think to cover falling through the floor!
“I’m ok...” Came a weak voice from behind him. Bucky span around and saw Zara’s brunette curls ruffled amongst some dry wall. Her torso was lodged under a filing cabinet while her legs covered in shattered cement and brick. Her chest and face was covered in hundreds and thousands of pieces of shards of glass, many of which piercing her skin.
He ran to her side and lifted the cabinet from her. She flinched but was then able to take a deep breath. She tried to pull herself up but had hurt her back from the fall.
Bucky’s heart aches as she let out a wicker of pain. “Shshsh it’s okay, I’ve got you babe.” His hands went to her sides as he lifted her, then finally he got a good grip on her back and hoisted her up.
Bucky held her in his arms as he looked around for an exit point. Seeing that they were helpless, he looked down at the pain filled look on the woman’s face. “This is probably the wrong time to say this but, could you tell me the extraction code word.”
“Wiener soldier.” She couldn’t help but crack a smile as she said it.
“Ha ha.” Bucky shook his head. “Now’s no time for jokes Doll. What’s the word Sam told you?”
“That was it Buck...” She paused, trying not to laugh as it hurt too much. “Wiener soldier is the code.”
“Fantastic.”

Sidney hadn’t had the time to look to see if Y/N and Andy were in the box. Zach had assured him that they were coming. He was still obviously suspicious of Sidney and the whole situation. He had every right to be. That was his family.
They won 4-3 against the Rangers in overtime. Sid barely listened as Sully congratulated and berated the team and then instructed Olli, Murray, and Horny to do media. He rushed to put on his suit.
“Hey did you wanna go out with us tonight for drinks?” Kris asked Sid. “Cullen is the only one out so far.”
Sid shook his head. If this night was going to go how he hoped, he’d be out eating in a quaint diner in an hour with a beautiful woman and her son. Not that it was a date or anything, he reminded himself. He was merely treating a lovely family to a nice night that they deserved. That’s it. No romance involved at all.
“I have plans.”
“Involve pretty woman and small boy?” Geno grinned. Kris looked intrigued.
Zach patted Sid on the shoulder. “I’m going out with the guys. Walk them up to the apartment. Tell Y/N not to wait up for me. I might end up staying with Olli tonight depending on how many drinks we have. Make sure she locks the door too. Just because I have some money still doesn’t mean we live in the greatest area of Pittsburgh.”
Sid understood then. “You have plenty of money to get a nice place for yourself, and even them. You live with them to try to help but she doesn’t like charity.”
Zach nodded. “I know you like Andy and genuinely want to spend time with him because he’s a good kid. She still believes that you are on charity mode,” he explained. “You’re right, she doesn’t like charity or pity, especially when it involves Andy. That kid is her life. ‘The best accident in my life’ she says. She won’t warm up to you until she realizes a you’re there for him as a kid and for her as a woman of interest.”
Sidney wanted to speak up about that last part and argue, especially under the watching eyes and listening ears of teammates. “Don’t even deny it, Sid,” Zach interrupted. “Just don’t make me regret this.”
Zach walked out of locker room with some of the guys, leaving him, Evgeni, and Kris alone. “What am I missing?” Kris asked.
“Sid in love,” Geno told him.
Sid shook his head. “I’m not in love.”
“ZAR disagrees,” both countered.
“I explain later,” Geno whispers to Kris.
Kris nodded. “The 3 of us are going out tomorrow night in Boston to talk about this,” he informed Sidney. “You’re going to tell us about tonight. You’re going to explain all of this to us. Got it, Sid?”
Sidney nodded. “See you guys in the morning for the flight. Enjoy tonight.”
Sidney grabbed his bags and walked towards the exit. He stopped right before pushing the door open. Nerves rushed over him. He wouldn’t normally be doing this. He wouldn’t probably go to these extremes for another teammate’s family. Okay, so that thought was wrong and he probably would, but without the feelings he has right now. There was something about this situation that pulled him in. He pushed his nerves away as he pushed the door open.
Y/N and Andy sat outside the locker room on a bench. Sid smiled a waved. A small part of him feared they would have left, but that fear was gone now and replaced with excitement.
“Hi Sid,” Andy waved. “You played good tonight, and your box is really cool,” He then whispered, “I actually fell asleep during the second intermission and missed part of the third because it’s so nice up there.”
Sidney chuckled. “Did you enjoy it, Y/N?” He asked. She nodded. He took this time to glance over her. She was wearing one of ZAR’s jerseys, but it was the color of the shirt underneath her jersey that caught his attention. “Are you wearing a Rangers shirt under that?”
She smirked. “Guilty. I couldn’t help myself. Zach wanted to wear my Rangers jersey because he thought your reaction would be funny. I said I didn’t want to torture you that much.”
Sidney, smiling, shook his head. “Well, clearly since your cousin being a Penguin and your son a future one doesn’t convince you,” A large grin appeared on Andy’s face, “I suppose I must convince you to become our #1 fan. Maybe we can go get something to eat. I know a nice diner only a few blocks from here.”
Y/N blushed as Andy yanked on her arm, begging her to agree. Y/N nodded and Sid led them out of the arena. “I hope you guys don’t mind walking. It’s only a few blocks from here.”
Y/N shook her head. “Not at all. We took the Light Rail here anyway.”
Andy stood between Y/N and Sidney, holding each of their hands, as they walked to the little diner. Y/N had objected at first but Sidney didn’t mind. He didn’t say it aloud but it felt like he had a family of his own for once. Andy talked the whole way there about the game. He praised both teams but admitted he was upset when Horny hit Zuccarello and then when Kreider tripped Sid. Sidney had to keep reassuring him that he was okay.
Very few people were in the diner when they walked in. A middle aged woman waved to them from behind the counter. “Hiya Sid!”
“Hi Marnie,” Sid greeted. He led Y/N and Andy to a booth on the left and the waitress, Marnie, brought two menus.
“I suppose you want your usual,” she said. She looked at his guests and smiled. “You’ve never brought your family here before, Sid. Mama’s gonna be upset.”
“Mama?” Andy and Y/N questioned.
“She’s talking about her mom, Sue,” Sid net explained. “Everyone calls her Mama and she calls everyone Baby or some other affectionate term.”
They nodded and glanced over the menu while Sid and Marnie caught up. It had been awhile since he had been into the diner. He had been craving their fries lately though, and one of Mama’s pies.
“I want nuggets,” Andy demanded. Y/N shot him a look. “Please.”
Marnie nodded. “And for you, miss?”
“I’ll have a Pittsburgh salad.”
“And an order of pierogies for the table too, Marnie,” Sid added.
Marnie nodded and walked off. “You come here often?” Y/N asked.
Sidney chuckled. “Is it that obvious? They don’t make a big deal about me here.”
Andy gave him a strange look. “But you’re Sidney Crosby.”
Sid nodded. “And I’m also just Sidney,” He stared at Y/N as he said this. He wanted her to understand. “I’m a normal guy. I come to a little diner to pig out because it makes me feel normal. I love judging people on House Hunters. I binge watch Friends. I like cooking. I play video games. I’m normal.”
“I’m sure your girlfriend loves that,” Y/N commented.
“I don’t have one. It’s just me.”
“Do you have a dog?” Andy asked. Sid shook his head. “You should get one. Or a cat. You need a friend for when you’re home. It probably gets lonely.”
Sid didn’t respond as Marnie had brought out their appetizer, and he also didn’t know how to respond. An 8 year old kid had hit his situation head on. He was alone. He had no one. He visited his team to feel wanted. He played hockey to keep busy. He looked up at that moment to see Y/N staring at him. There was a look in her eye that said she understood him. She opened her mouth to say something but closed it quickly. Sid just nodded, and she gave him a weak smile.
He heard a shout. “Baby Sid!” Instantly a pair of arms wrapped around him. “Don’t you dare wait so long to come see me again.”
Sid chuckled. “I’m sorry, Mama. I fly to Boston tomorrow and then New Jersey. It’ll be a few days until I come back then.”
Mama Sue patted him on the back and glanced up to his company. “Baby you brought another baby Sid and a pretty woman! Why did you hide such a gorgeous family,” She pinched Andy’s cheeks. “You are a good looking boy. Look like your father.”
Sidney glanced at Y/N and saw her face pale. Andy giggled. “Sid’s not my dad. But she is my mom. Sid is our friend. I’ll still be Baby Sid Jr. though.”
Mama Sue chuckled. “And who are you, baby?”
“I’m Y/N. A friend.”
“A beautiful friend,” Mama added. Marnie brought over the tray of food. “Pittsburgh salad for beautiful friend. Chicken nuggets for Baby Jr Sid. And a basket of fries and today’s soup of Zuppa Toscana for Baby Sid. I make fresh peach-raspberry today pie too.”
“Thank you, Mama.”
They didn’t say much as they ate but the feeling was enough to keep Sid full. Andy tried playing with his food and Y/N told him to stop. He shared his fries with her after he caught her several times eyeing them. Andy would talk about his day and chomp on his food causing Sid to tell him to chew and swallow and then talk. He wiped Andy’s face when he was all done. Andy was yawning by the time Mama brought the pie out...in a box.
“Baby Jr Sid looks tired. Eat pie later. I wrote on top how to heat up,” Y/N tried to hand money to Mama for the dinner. She shook her head. “Nonsense. I put on Sid’s tab.”
Y/N pursed her lips. Sid didn’t want Y/N to be offended. “She can pay if she wants to, Mama,” Sid said.
A sharp pain radiated through Sid’s shoulder after Mama Sue hit him. “Stupid boy. You take beautiful friend on date and make pay? You’re hunky Canadien pseudo-father not teach you anything?”
“Mario taught me lots of things,” Sid answered. “Just let her pay.”
Mama huffed and turned to Y/N. “I make deal with you. This meal free as long as you and cute son come back to visit me. Then I let you pay.”
Y/N nodded. “I’ll take that deal.”
“And make sure Baby Sid shares pie with you!” Mama Sue shouted as they left the diner.
“She can be a lot,” Sid said when they were a few storefronts down. “But Mama Sue means well. I’m sorry you had to argue with her back there.”
Y/N shrugged her shoulders and pulled her coat tighter. Sidney had to resist the urge to wrap his arms around her. “It’s fine, Sidney. I know she meant well, but I like to feel that I am capable of taking care of Andy and I without any help.”
“Sometimes people want to help because they care,” Sidney blurted. He was going to apologize and then Andy started coughing hard. Sid dropped to Andy’s level. “Are you okay, bud?”
“Cold,” he muttered.
Sidney watched Y/N huff and purse her lips. “The station is another four blocks from here,” she murmured.
It was clear that Sidney was not supposed to hear that, but he did. “I can give you a ride home,” he offered. “The Rail isn’t going to be warm.”
“Sidney—“
“Take the nice man’s offer, momma,” Andy interrupted, his teeth chattering.
Y/N glared at Andy. “I was going to say yes. I’m not going to let you freeze.”
Andy blushed. “Sorry, momma. I just know how you can be.”
Y/N sighed and bent down to kiss Andy on the forehead. “I will always put you first, Andy. Always,” Y/N stood back up. “Where is your car, Sidney?”
—————————
Sidney pulled up to a mediocre brick apartment building in a shabby part of Pittsburgh. “Do you think Uncle Z will be back tonight, momma?” Andy yawned.
“Probably not bud,” Sid answered. “Your Uncle Z is out with some of the guys. He might stay with Olli tonight.”
“He’s with Olli a lot. Why aren’t you with the guys?” Andy asked.
“Because I wanted to spend the night with you and your mom,” Y/N was quiet throughout the conversation. “Shall I walk you guys up?”
“You don’t have to, Sidney. You’ve done plenty tonight. I really appreciate it.”
“I insist,” Sid leaned over and whispered, “I’ll be honest too. ZAR asked me to. Not that I wouldn’t have anyway.”
Y/N rolled her eyes and chuckled. “That sounds like him,” Y/N glanced back at her son. Sid looked back too and saw Andy slowly dozing off. “Would you mind carrying him up? It’s been a long day and I don’t want to wake him up. He might be a little heavy though.”
Sidney nodded. “I don’t mind. Maybe I can get out of lifting tomorrow,” he joked, causing Y/N to giggle. “Lead the way to your abode.”
The seven story brick apartment building opened with a simple key code—1-2-3-4 to be in fact. Sidney didn’t understand how this was safe. There was only one set of stairs in the building also, and they lived on the seventh floor.
“No wonder ZAR hates cardio workouts but is really good at them,” Sidney commented by the time they got to the fourth flight of stairs. “This is quite the workout.”
“Zach isn’t really here much any more,” Y/N told him. “He’s only here during the season when he’s on the roster. He has been spending a lot of time with Olli. I think they are thinking about getting a place together, but I know Zach doesn’t want to abandon us. He’s always been so supportive and I will always be grateful for that and liking out for us, but I just want him to live his own life. I did it before he got here. I can do it again.”
At the fifth flight Sidney heard the thump of music. At the sixth the moans of sex. Andy didn’t stir through the whole trip up. Once they reached the seventh floor, they had to go to the opposite end of the building to Y/N’s apartment. Sidney briefly stopped in front of one apartment, 7E, where he heard lots of screaming and yelling. Y/N shoved him along and stopped two doors down at 7C. Quickly she unlocked the door and shooed Sidney in.
“Andy’s room is this way,” she told him.
“Is that couple going to be okay?” Sidney asked.
She shrugged. “They fight all the time. As long as they don’t disturb apartment 7K, everyone will be fine and the cops won’t be called. I’m praying that doesn’t happen. It’s just a mess then.”
“Y/N, this isn’t safe,” Sidney whispered. He laid Andy down in his bed and walked out with Y/N. “This can’t be good for Andy.”
Y/N bit her lip and crossed her arms. Sidney watched many emotions cross her face. “I work the front desk at a downtown hotel and occasionally waitress at the hotel’s restaurant when someone can watch Andy. I can’t get a nice little townhouse and pay for the hospital bills. This isn’t where I ever pictured myself being.”
Sidney lunges forward to catch her as she collapsed in tears. He held her close and walked towards the couch. Y/N curled into his touch as he sat down. Sidney didn’t say anything; he just let her cry and rubbed her back. That’s what she needed. She was a 29 year old with an 8 year old son. Both hadn’t had the best life, but Y/N was doing her very best to make sure Andy was ahead in life, even if cancer pushed him back. She had no time for herself, Sidney realized. She had no one to vent or cry to. She put everyone ahead of her and left nothing for herself. She was alone—just like him.
Sidney glanced down and saw her tears had stopped and her breathing was even. Sidney didn’t have the heart to move her; besides, he liked the feel of someone being next to him. He could survive this one night.

Would you ever write anything with a gender neutral reader?
@actualdemonbianca I would always be open to the idea of such a thing I will admit to the fact that I have never tried. I am a little concerned I might end up being so bad at it that I cause offence and I truly do not wish to do that. If you would indulge me? I shall attempt something.
---
It was cold. A lot colder than it had been in the modern era when homes had central heating throughout instead of this brasier that seems to only be hot if you were nearly hugging it.
There was a knock on the door, crawling from the futon wrapped in blankets they managed to greet the visitor resembling something like a blanket slug.
“Hello, Mitsunari.”
“Good Morning Quinn. I hope you had a good night?” Mitsunari beamed. How exactly is it possible to be that happy in the morning when it is so cold?
“Did I hell its like living in a freezer in here.” They grumbled pulling the blankets around them tighter.
“A fee-zar?” Mitsunari tilted his head, his violet eyes flickering trying to process the new word.
“Nevermind. Did you need me for something?”
“Oh Lord Nobunaga is calling for you.”
“Of course he is. Hang on let me get dressed and I’ll be right there.”
---
Sliding the door open after contorting my body so I could tie the obi sash as near to properly as I could I saw Mitsunari standing patiently waiting at the opposite side of the hallway.
“Sorry to keep you waiting.”
“No, bother at all. Shall we get going?”
Azuchi Castle was large, well it was a castle after all. The average modern age person didn’t really get to see many castles nevermind get to stay in one. Quinn remembered Sasuke warning them that the next chance to go home was in 3 months and also that it would be safer to stay in the castle. “And don’t fall in love.” Seriously dude? There was no need to tell me that.
Quinn had spent the first few days in the past sitting in their room avoiding Hideyoshi who seemed hell-bent on treating them as the most suspicious person on the planet.
It didn’t help that he insisted on referring to them as something else. I mean how are you supposed to react to someone who fails to grasp the concept that you are not who they think you are? Anyway, that was a difficult month.
They had walked the length of the corridor and climbed the stairs to the top in friendly silence. Mitsunari and Quinn finally arrived outside the doors to the Tenshu.
“I’ll leave you here.”
“Yeah, sure no problem. Thanks, Mitsunari”
“No need to thank me. I hope to see you later at the banquet.”
Oh crap, banquet. A chill ran up their spine at the idea. It wasn't so much the food Quinn was almost certain Masa would be in charge of it and well he was a great cook. It was more a feeling of dread that they would be asked to perform in a way that was not them. A flashback of that family holiday from when they were younger bubbled to the surface and they shuddered. Pushing that memory back they raised their hand and knocked.
“Nobunaga you called for me?”
“Enter.” Nobunaga who had been standing on his balcony entered his chambers once more and gave Quinn an annoying smirk as he looked at them. “Well, Fireball I see you are well.”
“If you don’t count the fact that I might lose several of my toes and the grip in both of my hands with this weather then yeah I’m doing just peachy.” Quinn’s sarcastic tone caused Nobunaga to burst out laughing.
“You really are a most entertaining person.”
“Is that why you summoned me?”
“Not exactly. I called for you to give you a gift.” Nobunaga went to his desk and retrieved something wrapped and carried it over to them.
“Gift?”
“Yes. I am aware that when you arrived here you were wearing strange clothing. Those, what did you call them? Trousers?” Nobunaga explained as he handed over the parcel which Quinn took gently still unsure as to what it was.
“Yeah.”
“Well, I was speaking to some of the traders in the docks when arranging the last acquisitions and I managed to procure something that I thought you might enjoy.” Nobunaga’s usual imperialistic tone seemed a little softer as he spoke now. It was strange enough to cause Quinn to look up at his face and attempt to search it for signs that they could recognise and understand.
“Well way to make someone feel both nervous and happy at the same time.” Quinn tried to crack a joke to relieve the weird tension that was now surrounding them.
“Open it.”
At his insistence. They carefully untied the knot of fabric and revealed a few items of clothing in some of the finest silk they had ever seen. Damn, I don’t even think my silk Pj’s at home are this good.
“Are these trousers?”
“In a way. I believe it would be safe to call them that they resemble closely what you arrived in and this other piece, when placed over the top, will mask the appearance of them when you are in public.”
“I... I don’t understand why you would do such a thing?” Quinn was at a loss for explanations at this point. This whole situation now felt a little surreal.
“You are my lucky charm Quinn. I wish for you to feel comfortable and relaxed in my castle. Here you are among friends. I realise after talking to you before that you might be finding certain things difficult. So I did my best to think of a way to make you feel more at ease.” His voice was genuine and honest. Not once had they ever heard Nobunaga tell a lie and right now at this moment they found themselves wanting... wishing to believe it was all true.
“You went out of your way just because you believe I am your lucky charm?” If something is too good to be true it usually is.
“No, I did it because I find you fascinating and wish to see you happy. No one else has made me feel like this. for the first time in my life, I feel unsettled. You are an interesting person.” Nobunaga drew closer his fingers trailing over theirs as they held the new clothes in their hands.
“Careful people might get the idea that that was a love confession.” Quinn said forcing a lacklustre chuckle to hide the growing embarrassment they were now feeling.
“And what if it is?” His voice was deeper. Resonating in his chest and tumbling from his lip over their body like a heatwave. And to think I was feeling cold until just a second ago.
“Well, I think Hideyoshi might pitch a fit.”
“Let him. There is only one person I am interested in and it’s you.”

{Long Distance Relationship / Jaehyun}
Tumblr media
By: Admin Zar
Requested By: @nctsavemylifeu
Taeyong Ver.
Ugh Jaehyun is literally the definition of soft boy (trademark)
I feel like a long distance relationship with Jaehyun would be hard at times
Although I feel like he isn’t a person who would want his partner dependent on him
He would still want to be someone you could lean on
But the thing is, he loves physical affection and would feel the need to have intimate moments with you
Not intimate as in I N T I M A T E but those really sweet moments of just getting lost on your eyes and just admiring you
But if he REALLY loves you, like REALLY REALLY loves you
He’d definitely going to try to make it work
Unlike the other members, although he’d love seeing your beautiful face, I feel like he’d want to hear your voice more??
So I feel like voice calls would be more common that facetiming
But he would still facetime you and let you talk to he other members
He’d spoil the fuck outta his s/o
Always sending you gifts and different surprises
And when you both see each other face to face again, he would really fucking spoil you
But anyway, you’d always tell him you don’t need these things just knowing he loves you and has his support is enough
But he would be like “Just accept my fucking love hoe (insert meme of someone holding a gun)”
Sends you little sneak peaks on comebacks like choreography or small snippets of songs
And Taeyong is like “Bitch I dare you to send that. I don’t care if you’re dating them”
“Try me”
Sends it to you anyway, there’s nothing taeyong can do
but you always make sure to keep it underwraps
You guys have small dates where you guys facetime each other and watch the same movie as the same time
“Okay press play in 3,2,1″
“WAIT YOUR TV IS FASTER THAN MINE”
“SO?”
“Y/N, PLEASE WE NEED TO BE WATCHING IT IN SYNC”
“IT”S GONNA BE MAY” please get my fucking joke
Surprising him with tickets to a Bruno Mars concert as a gift
“But I wanna go with you, Y/N”
“I know”
“Now I have no choice but to go with Johnny...”
“I’m gonna be flying in for break silly. Johnny’s not going with my man. I think the fuck not”
Like Taeyong he’d give you reminders to take care of yourself, especially if you’re far due to school
“You may be a uni student, but that doesn’t mean you need to be eating ramen all the time”
“Don’t study too hard, take a break for me bb”
“You have class in the morning, you need to be heading off to sleep, love”
Make sure to tell him anything and everything
If he finds out through Mark that you’ve been feeling lonely,,,
You’re gonna feel his wrath, but love because he doesn’t want you to feel bad
“I didn’t want to worry you”
“Y/N, you worry me 24/7″
He’s such a soft dough boy
Please love him
I hope you enjoyed!

jubilant.
Inspired by an otp prompt from @blusterprose. Takes place almost a year after Trespasser.  this is for day 6 of the Cullen appreciation week. Enjoy!
Zara hummed as she leaned against the stone entryway to the balcony in Skyhold, watching how the sun’s rays shimmered upon the freshly fallen snow, projecting numerous colors into the sky. Her thumb caressed her wedding band, a nervous tick that she had recently acquired. Though she hummed, her mind was far from the melody that escaped her lips. It was back among Haven, to the first time she met Cullen, how strong and distant he was; to the way she felt when she heard his voice again, blurred by the roaring mountain winds, after what happened with Corypheus; the knot that seemed to tangle up her guts every time she faced a red templar, how her thoughts would jump to the Commander, Maker, how she imagined what she would do if she had to face him as one of those templars, crimson, angry , a lost man;  the joy that filled her soul when she felt his lips upon hers the first time they kissed, the way he smiled at her, eyes wrinkling, how happy he was. Finally her in her mind’s eye, she wandered to a time not too long ago, when they both stood in front of Mother Giselle, Zara's clan, and their close friends, binding themselves together, as husband and wife. Sometimes, in her lowest, hardest moments, she did not think she deserved him, someone who had been through hell, but was so kind . But then Cullen would remind her how the both of them saved each other. Zara was startled from her reverie by a deep, amused voice. “Never seen anyone gaze at the sun so lovingly. Should I be jealous?” Turning to look at the intruder, the Inquisitor grinned, her turquoise orbs twinkling. “Perhaps, my love. After all, he is so handsome and warm .” She replied, one hand upon Cullen’s broad shoulders, with the other teasingly running its fingers across his open chest. “How could I ever compete with that? I suppose I will just have to wander around Orlais, heartbroken, until some poor, rich baroness takes pity on me. Maybe one of the ladies that attended the ball at the Winter Palace. They did admire my best features, after all.” Cullen teased, barely able to contain his laughter when he saw the annoyance flash on Zara’s face, the tips of her pointed ears hot as coals. “Ha! They dare to try any of that and they will not be able to curtsy for a week.” She whirled on her heel, acting haughty as she strode towards the couch, but Cullen rushed behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist, pecking her cheek. “Not so fast.” He breathed, the air tickling her neck. She moaned, leaning back as he left a trail of kisses down to her shoulder. Goosebumps rose, and leaned back against him. “How about we spend all morning here? I could have Leliana postpone our meetings and we can have lunch. Snatch some vintage wine from Dorian, nibble on apricots and cheese, not the bluish kind, but the tangy one from Nevarra.” Cullen murmured. “That sounds perfect. Let me just send off yesterday’s paperwork to Josie for her to sign.” Zara gently unwrapped herself from his inviting embrace, squeezing his hand before heading towards her mahogany carved desk. Out of nowhere, a wave of nausea overcame her, freezing her in her steps. Her heartbeat sped up, and she became lightheaded; she fell down to her knees, fingers tightly anchoring her to the bedpost. Her skin was stark pale against the ink of her vallasin, transforming her face into a winter-touched oak. “Zar! Zara, are you okay?” In an instant, Cullen was by her side, panic in the tone of his voice. “Maker’s breath, you’re pale! We should get you to a healer.” Zara could only nod, not wanting to risk opening her eyes lest she saw her breakfast for the second time. Slowly, Cullen lead her to the main hall, across the courtyard and to the healer’s office, right by the Chantry garden. Along the way, the landscape was dotted with confused, worried faces. Cullen simply brushed them all off with a wave of his hand, hoping that would reassure the people for the time being. I can’t even remember the last time she was like this. The whole fortress could be hacking up a storm, and Zara would be as bright as she normally is. Probably because of her elvhen blood. Maybe letting Varric plan the feast for the Orzammar dignitaries was not the best idea; the sheep dish seemed more exotic than I have had before. When they reached the office, they were greeted by a short, blonde woman named Rosemary in the middle years of her life, her hands rough from years of crushing herbs and making poultices, with a kind smile and a personality both stern and nurturing. Her eyes widened when she saw the ill Dalish woman. “Oh, you poor dear! Come, sit by the fire. I will bring you some tea while the Commander here explains what is happening.” After Zara was settled, Rosemary hurried over to a table that was decorated with vials and bowls, with lush, fragrant plants hanging from the ceiling. While Cullen was speaking to the healer, Zara’s eyes wandered. The walls were made from cobblestone, tinted orange by the flames. On the right was a decent-sized bed, embellished with hand-stitched wool and cotton blankets, in varying patterns that were foreign to her. Above the fire was a black kettle, filled with water bubbling. It was small, but cozy. In the far corner was another door, which Zara supposed lead to Rosemary’s own quarters. Still somewhat uneasy, the warrior fiddled with the hem of her plum dress. Cullen had finished speaking, nervously running his hand through his golden locks. His eyes searched for any answers that Rosemary could give him. “Ah. Well, from what you told me it seems to be something that is affecting her stomach, causing her to become dizzy and lose her balance. Could be a sudden onset of the flu, but even then, there are other symptoms that are missing. I take it that you do not have any muscle soreness or fatigue?” Rosemary inquired, looking at Zara while she crushed lemon peel, mint, and dandelion petals together. Zara shook her head, her ebony strands bouncing. “No, not that I can recall. I was somewhat more tired than usual when I awoke this morning. Also, now that I think about it, lately certain smells that never bothered me before cause my stomach to turn when I come across them.” Rosemary pursed her lips. “Hmmm. Interesting.” She added some of the herbal mix to a powdery blue clay mug before pouring hot water into it, stirring it quickly. Cullen’s eyebrows furrowed at his wife. “Really? You never mentioned it to me.” “I never thought it was anything to worry about. At least until now.” Zara replied, confusion flooding her. Did she catch something from her recent visit to Denerim? Noticing her expression, Cullen placed a hand on her arm, massaging with his calloused fingers. Rosemary handed the tea to Zara, a wry smile etched on her face. “I think I have figured out what is occurring. My dear, when was your last bleeding? About three, four moons past?” Zara began to tremble, her emotions racing. “Yes, yes, it was.” Rosemary’s smile grew wider. “This is not the flu. I believe that you are with child.” Cullen stared at Zara, his mouth agape. “Ch-child? We--us--huh?” His eyes were both stunned and hopeful. "But the odds for a couple like us--I mean, we knew it would be hard--we haven't even been trying--How?" Carefully putting the tea aside, Zara raised herself up, arms instinctively finding themselves around Cullen, hands cupping his stubbled jaw. Tears filled up her eyes as he oh-so-tenderly placed his hands upon her abdomen with a fond look. “Zar, we’re going to be parents. Parents!”   She laughed, gladness filling every beat of her heart. Her eyes took in every detail of his face, the way his eyes shone, how overjoyed and free he was. She never wanted to forget any of it. This was worth every burden and trouble I have went through. I would stand against Corypheus a thousand times if it meant Cullen and I would have this. Our future. Crashing her lips against his, Zara held onto him tighter as he swung her around, the tips of her boots brushing the stone floor. Quietly, Rosemary excused herself, wanting to let the two of them be. The news would soon spread faster than wildfire across Skyhold anyways. That one dwarf has eyes and ears in every corner. Probably why he can sell so many books, she thought with a chuckle.   fin.

{Mafia AU / Mark}
Tumblr media
By: Admin Zar
Requested By: Anon
Jaehyun Ver. / Jungwoo Ver.
In case you haven’t read the Jaehyun Ver., here’s a brief introduction to how this mafia is ran
NCT is one of the most dangerous mafia’s in the world
Taeyong is the Godfather, making all of the important decisions
Johnny is he Underboss, or Second-In-Command
Jaehyun, Taeil, Doyoung and Yuta are all Capo’s, leaders of their own divisions in the mafia
And the younger members work as soldiers under the capo’s
Taeyong went Mark on an important mission to collect money from a mob boss
He handed him a black and gold card before he left and told him to use it if need be
“Don’t accept and food nor drinks from any of the waiters under any circumstances.”
The mob boss that Mark was going to collect the money from owned a big casino in the upper class side of the city
When Marked walked in, before his eyes he saw flashing lights, show girls, drunk and drugged customers
There were people playing poker and spending money recklessly on bets and slot machine's
Mark walked around aimlessly until he found himself in the far back of the casino
There stood a door that had “Admission Only” written on it in big black letters and two security guard dressed in black suits, standing in front of it
“Sorry kid, admission only” The guard on the left spoke
“Uh...” Marked reached in his pockets and pulled out the black and gold card Taeyong gave to him and proceeded to show it to the guards
They both looked at each other and nodded
The guard on the right opened and held the door for Mark to walk in
He hesisiated but knew he was on the job so walked in anyway
The room was filled with a slight fog
Sketchy looking men and women walked around, socializing with each other
He found his way to the Roulette table and stood and watched
You sat at the table with a smug look on your face
You put all of your chips on the number 22
Since you were all in, your opponents followed in suit with their bets
“No more bets” The dealer called and the roulette wheel began to turn
Everyone watched in anticipation as the wheel turned round and around
as it slowed down, they held their breaths in hopes they wouldn’t loose all of the money they just bet
And as the wheel came to a stop, everyone noticed the ball in the black 22 slot
They all groaned at the money they lost
“Sorry boys, better luck next time.” You spoke and added a wink at the end of your sentence
“How about we play another round?” A heavy set man spoke with hope filling his voice
“You really wanna play another round, with all the money you owe my father?”
The man feel silent
Your eyes landed on the boy watching you in amazement
“Do you have any business here?”
“Yeah uhh, I’m here for Taeyong.”
You stood up from your seat, “Follow me”
Mark followed close behind you to the door that lead to your father’s office
You opened it and spoke as you walked in, “Daddy, he’s here with NCT”
Your father turned around in his chair, cigar in hand
He had an intimidating face, along with the two men that stood at either side of his desk
“You’re here for NCT?”
“Yes, sir”
“So you come in to my casino, and demand me for the money. I told you, you’ll get the money whenever I give it to you.”
Mark stepped closer to the desk but when he did he found two guns pointing at his face
“Put the guns down, he’s just here on a job.”
“Baby,” Your father spoke, “Everyone who comes here is here on a job, it’s your choice-”
“Whether they leave dead or alive. I know.”
Mark stood still the entire time
“I said put the guns down!”
The two men lowered their arms and went back into their previous position
“No disrespect sir, but we’ve been waiting a year for the money you owe us.”
“Just give it to him. The longer you wait the more money they’ll put out for your dead body.”
You father leaned forward on his desk
“I stand by what I said, you’ll get it when you get it. Gio, escort him out please.”
And so there Mark stood at the corner of the casino, empty-handed
“Hey!” He heard a voice call
He turned around to see you running towards him
“Mark, right?” You spoke as you approached him
“How do you know my-”
“Not important. Here” You handed him a brown paper bag
When he peaked inside, he saw 4 stacks laying neatly at the bottom of the bag
“How did you-”
“I’m his child, he can’t say no to me.”
He thanked you for the money and as he walked off he hard your voice approaching him again
“Hey, I’m Y/N, but you probably already know that already?”
“Yeah kinda...” Mark spoke awkwardly
“They kinda gave you a hard time back there-”
“I had 2 guns pointed at my face.”
“Yeah but it could’ve been worse. It could’ve been 5.”
“Is that supposed to be a joke?”
“....Yes. BUT WHAT I’M TRYING TO SAY IS, ithinkyourecuteandyoushouldletmetakeyouout”
“Huh?”
“I SAAAID, I think you’re cute and you should let me take you out!”
AND BOOM- that was the start of your relationship
Due to the both of you being together, this strengthened and united the mob and mafia
The members were thankful that you came along
You were way more experienced with organized crime
And you built up Mark’s hard shell
But since you were also apart of your family’s mob, you give NCT information about other mob’s if needed
And since you were both apart of organized crime, when you were together you were like each other’s escape
Y’all are just two cuties that could shoot someone’s head off if need be
Hey-yo! I hope you enjoyed it! Leave feedback and requests are open!

{Soulmate Au / Taeyong}
By: Admin Zar
Requested By: @kookiexdae: “hi there!! could i request maybe a soulmate au! with taeyong or u being a trainee and taeyong helps you out even though he has nct and u fall for each other?? pls 💕💕 “
Lucky for you, you get both requests! I hope you like it!
Tumblr media
You were born with a small box on the far left of your left wrist
This box changed an array of colors
From dark blues to bright yellows
It only changed colors sometimes, black seemed like it’s neutral color
The colors weren’t very vibrant but you could still tell the difference between the different tints, shades and tones
So you would watch as at box slowly turned into the colors, wondering what they meant
You knew that somehow this was connected to your soulmate
But you just didn’t know why
When you turned fourteen, you noticed a voice would appear in your head
But not one of your own
Someone else’s
To you it seemed like your mind had a mind of it’s own
But you noticed something in correlation the box on your wrist
When you could hear the voice in your head, you noticed the box would turn different colors
Sometimes when the box changed colors, you didn’t even hear the voice
Sometimes you could just hear sounds
Once you were in class taking a test and you started to hear small sniffiles
These escalated into louder whimpers until they were complete cries
You watched as the box slowly turned into a faint shade of dark blue
There was a small hurt in your heart, that you couldn’t help this person
You couldn’t help the person that you were supposed to be with
But if you were to ever meet this person, how would you know anyway?
And could they hear your thoughts as well?
It wasn’t until your sophomore year of uni
You were studying in a cafe nearby
You had an extremely noisy roommate, who didn’t seem to consider others much
You had an earbud in one ear, listening to your favorite melodies to study to
The cafe was decorated with warm neutrals with a splash of neutral greens
The seating was made of woods with comfortable, plush seating coverings over them
There were a few couches, but you liked sitting at your own table where no one could try to sit next to you
A group of rowdy, boys walked into the cafe and you noticed the small box on your arm turned yellow without you noticing
But this time it wasn’t the faint, dull yellows that you saw before
The color was bright and vibrant
Your eyebrows furrowed in response
Taeyong walked into the cafe with a few of his best friends; Doyoung, Mark, Johnny, Yuta- well, all of his best friends- too many to name
Since everyone else was still deciding what they wanted, he decided to go ahead and order
As he went to grab his wallet to pay for the medium iced americano,
He noticed the small box on the far right side of his right hand, turned a sangria color
But just like you, this color was not extremely vibrant
One that he now associated with the frustration of his soulmate
He quickly payed for the drink and stepped away from his friends to examine the tattoo
He didn’t understand as to why now, out of all times does the colors seem more bright than before
Than he heard your voice
“Julius Caesar was stabbed in the back by that lil ugly boy Pompey and then literally stabbed in the back by Brutus! My mans can never catch a damn break!”
He looked around to find the only person in the cafe studying, you
He couldn’t help but stare
He was awestruck
You were so beautiful?? like is this real life??
You felt someone’s gaze on you and you looked up from your notes on Julius Caesar and the First Triumvirate
You locked eyes with him and you both just had this feeling of fulfillment?
Like you just didn’t something you were always supposed to do
Not that either of you noticed, but the small boxes flushed pink, then disappeared
He slowly walked over and introduced himself, “Hi
 my name’s Taeyong”
“Y/N”
And that’s how you met your soulmate, your mans, your boo - Lee Taeyong
Hope you enjoyed! Request are open!

{Prince Au / Chenle}
Tumblr media
By: Admin Zar
Requested By: Anon
Jaemin Ver.
The Zhong family ruled over the Duvia Kingdom
This area covered about half of the country called Wylanium
This country is known for it fantasy like highlands and crystal clear waters
Their known for a fruit callled Fyia, a peach like fruit that just a little bit more tart
The family is known for ruling with an iron fist but is always fair and treats their people nicely
The kingdom’s prince, Chenle, was an only child
So often the castle will be infiltrated by his young, reckless friends
The 7 of them were always getting into trouble due to their mischievous behavior
And when all 7 of them weren’t together, he still had his best friend, Jisung, whom’s family ruled over the other half of Wylanium
The Zhong family had an annual ball, where they would invite their allies and potential partners
Your father were one of the highest ranking Dukes in the lands, but this was the first time your family had ever been invited to one of the Zhong family’s balls
In fact, you were a big fan of balls
You loved dancing and getting to know new people
You heard about Chenle through friends that previously met him
There were a lot of mixed reviews some said he was sweet and other said a little too mischievous
But you wanted to make that judgement for yourself
When you arrived, the castle was already bustling with people and music
It was lively; people smiling, dancing, laughing
You wore a red gown with gold embellishments, with your hair framing your face
You started your night next to your parents, but as you found the talk of militia boring, you found yourself wandering round the ball
Eventually you were standing next to the drinks that the help had stationed out to fill up wine glasses and ask people if they would like any
You mixed your glass with a bit of grape soda and snuck red wine into the mix
“I saw that.” A voice resonate behind you
You turned around to find a boy around your age, wearing an intricate suit, smiling at you knowingly
“Saw what?”
“If you tell me your name, I won’t tell”
“And who were you going to tell?”
“My parents”
“Who are your parents? The king and queen?”
He gave you a knowing look until it dawned upon you
“Oh! Prince Chenle,” You spoke between laughs, “How nice to meet you. Lady Y/N, daughter of Duke Aedan”
“The pleasure is mine”
An atmosphere of awkwardness fell over the both of you
You stole glances at him, sipping on the mixture of your drink
Yeah it might’ve been underage drinking, but the mixture filled way less than half of the cup, you just wanted to get a small taste of what wine tasted like
But so far it wasn’t your forte
The cup was snatched out of your hand, and downed by Chenle who was still avoiding eye contact with you
He began to cough because of the mix, causing you to laugh at him
“Do you do that often?”
“No, I just wanted a taste. It isn’t that good anyway.”
You smiled at him and slipped into the crowd going to go dance
The music sped up to a faster pace and girls in their long gowns began to run into the middle of the dance floor
You decided to join in
All of your were twirling and laughing with each other as you all stomps on beat to the music
In the crowd you found Chenle along with one of his friend, watching while laughing alone with everyone
When the song ended you made your way over towards him
“Lady Y/N, this in Prince Jisung.”
You curtsied and the bowed back at you
“Jisung was just telling me that our friend, Donghyuck mixed soy sauce into the coke of the Prince Jaehyun”
“Can’t that get you in trouble? And potentially ruin the relationship between us and his country?”
“Why would such a small prank ruin the relationship?”
“I’m not saying it will, I’m just saying it’s a possibility. It can make the Zhong family look childish and foolish. No one wants to be allies with a foolish country. I’m just saying that you should think about these things before hand.”
“Jaehyun it like our older brother”
“So he won’t be that mad. This is just advice for future pranks”
Chenle nodded in understanding
Jisung had left because a friend had called him over
“You know a lot about politics”
“I’m not sheltered from these facts. I’m only the daughter of a Duke. I’ve basically been trained my whole life to try to marry someone of higher status, and if I reach that, I’m going to need to know more about politics and stuff”
“Are your parents arranging your marriage?”
“Not that I know of, I hope to one day find love. I want to marry for love, not for titles and political influence. Is your marriage going to be arranged?”
“No. I would one day hope to find love as well.”
The music slowed down and people began to couple up to dance
Chenle and you stood next to each other with flushed cheeks
You both spoke at the same time
“Would you like to-”
“Would you like to-”
You laguhed a little, “You go.”
“Would you like to dance?”
“I would love to.”
The two of danced together, not saying a word
But it was comfortable and you both enjoyed every second of it
From that night onward, the both of you became the best of friends
Jisung called you a friend stealer, but you always ignored his comments
You came to learn the Chenle was loud, especially his laugh
But you found the dolphin sounding laugh, endearing
He would always call your name loudly even if you were sitting across the room
As the two of you developed a crush on each other, you tried not to act differently around him
You found this more difficult than he did
It wasn’t even subtle
“Y/N! How have you been?!”
“
That’s personal.” and you would just run off in the other direction
This went on for some weeks!
One of Chenle’s favorite dress maid’s came in one day to measure him for a new suit for an upcoming event
She was always around when you scattered off, or when you stared at him lovingly across the room
The dress maid broke the silence in the room by bringing up the topic, “You know she acts like that because she like’s you?”
“Huh?”
“Y/N. I can tell a girl with a crush from a mile away. And you like her too, I can see it. Just ask her out already!”
“How do you kno-”
“Trust me, Prince I have 3 daughters.”
Out of no where he pops up at your home, well castle, with his family for the weekend
You tried to avoid him, but on a Saturday night around sunset he found you in your garden
“Y/N!”
You turned around and saw Chenle standing there with a bright smile on his face
“Hey Chenle. I actually have to go-”
And as you were about to make up some lame excuse to leave
“I have a crush on you, Y/N!”
“Me?” You asked pointing as yourself
“Y-Yeah.”
You walked over and caressed his hair softly, “I like you too, Chenle”
I hope you guys enjoyed this! Requests are open!

Prebian is a planet located in Brosia System
This planet is known for it’s luminescent grasslands, rivers that flow into a central ocean that completely encircles the planets equator and strong tidal forces
This planet is home to the Lee family, the royal family of the Brosia system
This family was known for making sure their people are happy and provided for
Always choosing what’s best for it’s people
They seemed like the perfect royal family
But inside the castle walls, there was drama
Royal workers from other planets always coming to visit to find out Brosia’s secrets
People forming conspiracies against them
But what people were most interested in was the drama between the family
The King married a woman from Huex
A short, curvier woman with light blue skin and teal colored hair that fell all the way to her waist
She wasn’t from royal blood, but her family had troops and money
But, the King had a mistress
A taller woman, with shoulder length, black hair
His mistress ended up pregnant and that’s where Taeyong came along
Technically he was the eldest son, but since he was a bastard, he wasn’t in line for succession
Due to the fact that he was a bastard, rules weren’t unforced on him as they were on his younger, half-siblings
So he spent his time traveling the galaxy with his friends
Occasionally getting in trouble with the IGFA, the Intergalactic Federal Association
But due to Taeyong’s status, they always let them go
While traveling, they needed to stop and refuel their craft
“What’s the closest planet to here?” Taeyong asked
“There’s an uncharted planet a light year away” Doyoung replied looking at the small, see-through tablet he held in his hand
“Do you think it’ll fine to just stop at an uncharted planet?” Sicheng asked
“If it’s uncharted 9 times out of 10, there’s no form of life on the planet. So it should be fine”
but BOY WAS HE WRONG
Your planet had an intense tropical climate
Similar to Prebian, there was rivers that connected to 2 oceans
Your people all had the same shade of light green skin (like gamora from guardians of the galaxy, if you need a picture) and dark red hair that varied from straight to curly
A few patrols were out on the look for rival tribes, when they noticed the group of 9 boys who seemed to have been invading their planet
Their immediate reaction was to arrest them until their leader could take precaution
Unfortunately, your leader was out doing a peace treaty with another job
The patrols didn’t allow anyone into the small room, where all 9 of the boys sat for the past 3 days
With no food nor water
You gathered some fruits and bread in a basket along with some bottles of water
You sneaked to the small holding house and peaked in, listening to their conversation
They spoke a different laugage than the one of your home planet, but being apart of the linguist division of your tribe you easily recognized it as one of the top 5 most commonly spoken languages that you learned, Trian
“I get that it looked like we were invading their planet, but they could’ve at least given us water??” One of them spoke
“Taeyong can’t you contact you dad to help get us out?”
“They took everything from us, I have no way on contacting anyone. We’re stuck here from the time being.”
“You know, their technology is way more advanced than ours for them to be apart of an uncharted planet.” The tallest one spoke
“Yeah, it’s weird”
You noticed their condition, they must’ve not been used to the intense humidity of your planet
They were all sweating, they seemed to have taken their shirts off in attempt to lessen the heat
Their chests heaved up and down
The only light that was let into the holding house was that of the moon
Streaks of high contrast filled the air, lighting up the room just enough
You came out from your hiding place, showing yourself behind the gate
“Someones there” A boy with large, round eyes spoke, pointing at you
He could barely raise a finger
It a surprise they haven’t passed out from dehydration sooner
You quietly opened the gate and let yourself in the room
Without speaking you handed out the fruits, bread and water to the nine of them and sat down by the gate
“WAIT-” The boy with bright red hair and a slit in his eyebrow spoke, “Are these poisoned?”
“Taeyong, they can’t understand you they don’t speak-”
“No, why would they be?”
Much to their surprise you spoke perfect Trian
“You can speak-”
“We may be uncharted, but that doesn’t make us dumb!”
Your comment caused silence in the room
The boy with bright red hair spoke again, “Thank you for the food and water”
They all hummed in agreement, with food in their mouths
You nodded in reply
“What’s your name?” He looked familiar, like you’ve seen him somewhere
“Taeyong. Lee Taeyong.”
Your eyes got got wide, “THE BASTARD?! oh wait- that sounds bad uhh I mean-”
He chuckled a bit, “Yes, the bastard”
“If I let you guys out, promise to leave as soon as possible. I’ll give you back everything that the patrols took from you all”
“Won’t you get in trouble?”
“I’ll be fine” You smiled
Just as you promised you let them go, and watched as they left in their space craft
The next morning you leader came back look for the captives
Once he saw that they were gone, he went ballistic
He blamed the the patrols for letting them go and was going to punish them by public execution
But before he had the chance you found him in his office
“Papa! I let them go! It’s my fault not theirs”
Yes you were in the linguist division, but that didn’t make you any less than the Leader
“Y/N, why would you let them go?! They were invading us”
“No they weren’t! If they were invading don’t you think there would’ve been way more of them than just nine?!”
There was silence until your father finally decided to speak up
“You may be my child, but you will be punished for treason...”
And so you were banished from your planet
For the next few weeks you traveled the galaxy with no certain destination in mind
You found a cafe located on the moon of some nearby planet and made your way towards the cashier
“One small Lyki Moon Shake, light Aurora Borealis dust please?”
A familar spacecraft pulled up as you waited for your shake
You watched as the same 9 boys walked out of their craft and into the cafe
“Excuse me, you’re drink is ready”
You turned around and grabbed your shake
When you turned around again you were face to face with Taeyong
“You’re the one who helped us a few weeks ago! What are you doing here?”
You began to walk towards a booth as you began to talk with Taeyong following to sit with you, “I was charged with treason and banished from my planet”
“I’m sorry... what was your name again?”
“Y/N”
“Well Y/N, is there anyway I can repay you? for what you did for us?”
“You could let me travel with you guys.. I don’t really have anywhere to go”
“Well...”
“Please I could even be helpful! I have a lot of knowledge about other species! And I know a lot of languages! Please just let me go with you!” you pleaded
“I guess you could-”
“YAY! YOU WON’T REGRET IT! I’M SUCH A BIG HELP, YOU’LL SEE!”
He laughed at your excited reaction, finding your behavior cute
“Also, if you’re the son of the King of the Brosia system, don’t you have duties to perform? Should you just be exploring the galaxy like this”
Taeyong stared out the window at the stars as he explained to you his status and what that means
As you both became deeper in the conversation you told him about your technical “royal” status
“At least, since you’re a bastard, well- is illegitimate a better word?”
“Ah, it doesn’t really matter to me.”
“Well since you aren’t in line for succession, at least you weren’t engaged since you were six. I mean now that I’m banished from my planet, at least I can find real, true love. Ya know?”
He stared into your eyes for a while, “Yeah, I know.”
“Why are you looking at me like that?”
“You’re just.... beautiful”
You stared at your reflection in the window
The green pigment of your skin, your dark red hair
“Thank you. Are you going to take me to see the stars?” You teased
“Maybe I just will...”
You both smiled at each other
Gazing into each others eyes
Somehow, someway
This felt like the beginning of love
The galaxy's epic love story
This one was a little different from my other two, I felt. But I hope you all still enjoyed! Request are open!
