Fate
Pairing: Ace x Reader | Soulmate! Au
Synopsis: Soulmates had matching tattoos. When you met Ace, you were certain that he was your soulmate.
Tumblr media
  Fate
Raindrops slid down the glass, like melancholic tears from the sky. Your reflection only so faint on the window. Even if you were decorated with the finest jewelries from the top to bottom, tailor-made dress, most expensive heels nothing can fill the void in your heart.
“It was fate that brought you to me otherwise I would of drowned”, he used to say.
Fate.
It was a beautiful morning when you mindlessly strolled towards the river. Without a place to go, a reason to be, you found a man floating down the river. He was unconscious. With all of your force, you pulled him up on the riverbed and checked for pulse. He wasn’t dead. For the rest of the day, you camped out beside the man waiting for when he wakes up. He was quite peculiar, shirtless, no weapon, a hat that is completely soaked, the raven locks of hair framed his freckled face.
It was around mid-afternoon when he finally woke up. When he did, he enveloped you in a hug.
“Oh god, I thought I was dead! Thank you so much for saving me,” he said while you struggled to get out of the hug.
You would later learn that his name was Ace, Portgas D. Ace a traveler looking for adventure. When he asked you to join him on his adventure, you accepted. He was charming, nice, stupid at times but he always made you smile. The two of you went on so many adventures.
“Do you believe in dragons?”, Ace asked you.
       “Umm...not particularly,” you replied.
“I heard that there is a dragon in Tamya forest, want to go check it out?”
“Sure!” you said with a grin.
On that day, you and Ace slaughtered one overgrown lizard and made more money than you could ever imagine selling the dragon parts in the nearby town.
Tumblr media
“(Name), look at all of this money! There is more than enough for a lifetime! We could go anywhere, be anyone we could have feasts and not care about what anyone thinks of us,” Ace said.
“This is so great, let’s go eat something to celebrate,” you suggested.
“No, first, let’s get you the most expensive dress there is and get rid of that plain and ugly peasant dress you are wearing now,” he replied with a grin.
You laughed and said, “I can’t tell if that was supposed to be an insult.”
“Just stating the facts,” he said and winked.
In this world, you cant just be anyone, there is a red string of fate that connects two people together. They are each other’s soulmates. The destined counterpart always bears a matching tattoo on their upper thigh.
“This grilled octopus taste so good!”, Ace said.
The two of you were in the Full Moon Festival at the Eastern Country. The streets were full of people, street food, performances and liveliness. The real reason you two came here was mostly for the fated technology called “fireworks”. They were described as on the best inventions of the Eastern Country, flowers that blooms in the sky.
“Ace,” you called. He bent down slightly so that he was at your height, “there is so much people here, let’s go find a quieter spot so we can enjoy the fireworks,” you said.
“Sure (Name), don’t get lost though,” he told you with a warm smile and you could feel his grip tighten on your hand.
Together, you found a nice and quiet spot by the river and awaited for the fireworks to appear. You leaned your head on Ace’s shoulder and enjoyed the calm moment.
“(Name), can you promise me to keep a secret?”, he asked you.
       “Of course,” you mumbled.
Ace shifted from his position causing you to slightly fall backwards but he caught you and made you look into his eyes. The glow of the moon illuminated his face with an off white colour, the stars shone brightly in his eyes.
“Then pinky promise me,” he said.
You looked at him amused by the odd request but still obeyed anyways.
“Alright, I thought it was about time I told you, do you remember that one time when we were in the Southern Valleys and we were chased by a whole lot of knights?”, he asked you.
“Um...I think so. Yeah so what about it?”
“Those people weren’t after us. They were after me. It’s because I am the child of the last King. The one that was overthrown,” he said grimly.
       “And…,” you continued.
“That’s it,” Ace said and he saw the look of confusion on your face, “Aren’t you surprised? Or angry? My father was known as the corrupted King. People hated him.”
“But that’s just him. You are you and that is all what matters to me,” you replied while staring right back into his eyes.
You two slowly leaned in for a kiss, and thus the vow was sealed. You could feel the strings of fate tugging you and Ace together into a bind. You were no longer travelling companions but a couple.
The fireworks erupted into the sky and created beautiful flowers of more variety than you’ve ever witnessed. Sparks of multicolours danced within the sky.
“(Name), do you feel it? I think we are just meant to be,” Ace said when he pulled away from the kiss.
You nodded with a smile and rested your head on the crook of his neck and enjoyed the moment. You wished the story could of ended here, it would of been perfect. But fate had other plans.
Tumblr media
You remember later that night when you showed him the tattoo. In this society, it was considered inappropriate to show another person your tattoo before you can feel the strings of fate pulling you two together. However, you are positive Ace is your soulmate, there is no other way. Though one should not underestimate fate.
“How….how is that possible?”, you looked at him, not believing your eyes. Tears threatened to fall down and all of your senses felt numb.
Ace didn’t say anything and stared at the ground. The tattoo on his leg, a fire pattern mocked you as it did not match with yours. Yours were flowing like water, not the abrupt flames that he had.  How could this be, you were positive it was him. You didn’t want to be anyone else but with him.
“Screw this!”, Ace shouted as he stood up, “Why does some dumb tattoo get to decide who I spend the rest of my life with.”
“It’s just fate,” you replied back depressed.
“Screw fate! Then it is also fate that brought you to me, otherwise I would of drowned that day by the river.”
“But Ace, fate gets to decide everything. It will keep on trying to separate us if we don’t listen to it. There is nothing we can do about it---”
“Until that happens, I am not abandoning you. Fate can try to separate us but we just have to be faster, more clever. We can escape it. We don’t have to listen to it. Let’s run away and don’t look back. I don’t care who we have to betray, who we have to abandon, I’ll do anything just so we can be together.”
Ace panted with harsh breath and anger seeped through his usually carefree face. You stood up and walked over to him and hugged him. You agreed with him, you don’t ever want to be with anyone else but him, he may not be your soulmate but he is the person you want to spend the rest of your life with. No regrets.
Life went on as normal but you two traveled at a quicker pace than before. Ever since that night, you could feel your surrounding altering it. It was because fate wants to punish you for not listening to it. For example, you’ve lately noticed that you tend to lose each other easily. Even if it is just walking in a crowded city, for a brief moment, you will lose sight of him among the sea of people. That was what you feared the most. What happens if one day you can’t find him anymore.
Also, more and more people that has been hunting for Ace. He is the son of the previous king and naturally, he brings a lot of enemies. But the appearances of conflicting parties has been more often than before. In fact, you even heard the name of the very man chasing after Ace. He would sometimes be in the front lines on this operation and there was one time when you and Ace almost didn’t escape. A piece of your dress was ripped off during the escape leaving your tattoo exposed. Ever since that day, a grim feeling has possessed you.
“Hey, (Name), have you heard about the town of Ethelia?”, Ace looked at you.
Today was a normal day, so you wished. No one chasing you, the sun was shining bright and life was pretty good.
“Yeah, isn’t that the big city up north?”, you replied.
“Let’s go there, today. I heard they have some nice ice cream shops,” Ace said.
       “What’s that?”, you asked confused.
Ace chuckled, “I think it is something cold and sweet. That’s what I heard.”
“Cold? Like ice? I hate ice,” you stated bluntly.
“I don’t know but we will know once we go.”
       “Fine.”
And little did you know, that day was the day fate finally won. On your journey there, you were stopped by the very group of men always after Ace. Lead by their leader, Akainu, there was nowhere left for you two to run. Ace was injured but he tried his best to stand up. He blocked you from the enemies.
“Leave her alone, what you want is me. Not her!”, Ace shouted at them.
“Move you little runt,” Akainu said, “Are you her soulmate or something? Last time I checked, you didn’t even have matching tattoos.”
“That is none of your business!”, Ace shouted back.
“Of course it is my business because that lovely lady behind you, she happens to share the same tattoo as me.”
Shocked. Sadness. Unbelief. It all swallowed you like waves trying to suffocate you. On that day when your dress ripped, it must of been that day when he saw. And later you did witness for yourself when you saw the familiar tattoo on his leg, that disgusting man was your soulmate.
It has been six months since then. It is also the day before the scheduled execution for Ace. He did nothing wrong but of course, Akainu was a powerful man and he is capable of pinning crimes onto Ace to make his execution justified. Ace is locked in a cell, underground, beneath this castle. You only saw him twice. The first time, he didn’t say anything and the second time, he told you to not come see him again. He didn’t want you to see him in this pitiful state. Chained to walls and wearing rags.
“Wanna take one last look at lover-boy down there,” Akainu mocked you when he walked into the room. You can’t believe he is your soulmate.
       “There is no point.”
“Glad to see you finally came to your senses. He is just a swine,” he huffed before walking out of your room again.
There is no point because you’ve already planned the escape. It took you six months but you have acquired the keys to his cell, you also have found the gap flaw within the guarding system and an escape room.
When the night turned dark, shadows swallowed the castle, chains were removed and the caged became free. Two lone figures silently escaped the castle and never looked back. They dissolved into the night and once again they cheated fate. No one noticed them until a couple hours late when they were long gone and never had they caught them again.

6. dark law, 19. Davy Back, 36. the whimsical captain trafalgar law, 55. marine pet AU!
Oh, good eye. Those are some of my favorites.. Here is another long one under the cut. Also sorry for the late response. :D
---------------------------------o
---------------------------------o
6. Dark Law
Essentially my take (one of them at least) on what would have happened had Corazon not taken Law from the Donquixote pirates but left anyway when he thought Law had ratted him out.
Some details regarding this:
Rocinante returns to the marines and was able to submit the intelligence he'd gathered. This doesn't do much except inconvenience Doflamingo, as already acknowledged during Law and Doffy's fight.
Vergo gets discovered so he just goes back to the family.
Law does not eat the Ope Ope no mi since Doflamingo never intended for him to. At least, initially.
Because, I'm assuming, not everyone can perform the "Perennial Youth Operation," as it was stated they needed to be 'wise' or 'knowledgeable' and being a doctor does not really automatically equal that, Doflamingo had to kill the users he had chosen when none of them could do it so the fruit could go back to the circulation and he could feed it to the next potentially qualified person he could find.
Law's Amber Lead Syndrome got healed by one of these users though it was only because Law, himself, taught them how to (being familiar with the disease through his father's research as well being a good doctor)
Eventually, everyone realizes that Law is actually the most suited to wield the fruit (all the other smart doctors either having a fruit already or are simply inaccessible), certain that Law would be able to figure out how to do the ultimate technique. So, reluctantly, because he does care in his twisted conditional way, Doflamingo gives the Ope Ope no Mi to Law.
Law at this point had been raised as Doffy's right hand, all according to his plan. While he truly considers Law family and might genuinely regret making him give up his life, Doffy would still ask it from him because there is nothing more important than Doflamingo and his goals. A sentiment that almost everyone in his family considers true.
And Law... well...
Doflamingo rested both hands on Law's shoulders. His tinted glasses peering down, voice heavy with regret, "I wish there was another way."
Law's face remained impassive only broken by a small wistful twitch of his lips. It almost looked like a smile. He grasped Doflamingo's arm and directed him towards the operating table.
"You have taught me many lessons one of which was the futility of wishing for better circumstances." Law seated him and prepared his equipment.
"You taught me to take advantage of any situation by using whatever it is at my disposal." Carefully, he opened a package of sterile gloves. It wasn't really needed but the ritual of opening the pack and putting the gloves on one hand at a time always helped settle his nerves.
"I had expected you to do the same so I'd been prepared for this even before you gave me the fruit." Law lifted his eyes as he slid the first glove in place. "Don't feel too bad. I really am grateful for everything you've done for me. This is just me returning the favor."
He slid the other glove and stretched it over his hand. Softly, almost a whisper, without taking his eyes off his would-be patient, "I wish there was another way too." The snap that followed the release of the glove was too loud in the small operating room.

19. Davy Back
Early Heart Pirates stuff. And another workaround for writing with at least one of the nameless Heart Pirates.
A Davy Back Fight is initiated for an abused crew member of the opposing crew because Penguin couldn't help himself. The rules are a work in progress, hence this fic's state in limbo.
I really like writing about how these guys were when starting out. They probably looked too adorable, to be honest, so in the harsh North Blue they must have had a hard time getting treated seriously. Not that that would have bothered them (I honestly think they exploited it a lot.)
The enemy captain stared intently at each Heart Pirate then at the list of members given to him. The man didn't bother controlling the upward curl of his mouth.
"No powers. No weapons. Sumo wrestling with your navigator and hand-to-hand combat with your doctor."
Shachi choked and struggled a little bit to get his breathing back to normal. He waved away Penguin's hands patting his back. The pats were a little too harsh, clearly an admonishment if the accompanying glare was anything to go by.
Penguin almost felt sorry for whoever it was being matched against Law. Bepo, while just as incensed by the other crew, was way too conscious of controlling his strength to ever really hurt anyone too badly. The captain, on the other hand, could turn someone into a useless writhing lump of agony by systematically dislocating joints Penguin hadn't even known could be dislocated. Gruesome as severed body parts looked, the powers could at least make it painless.
---------------------------------o
---------------------------------o
36. The Whimsical Captain Trafalgar Law
More Heart Pirates stuff though would feature some of the allied crews as well. This is actually a series/multi-chaptered (or would be).
A Heart Pirates adventure fic where they all go along with their captain's whims all while trying to figure him out. His crew is so used to it they barely even flinch anymore.
Not to say they understand him because who knows what goes inside their captain's head. In fact, they debate that sometimes (a lot of times) the crew being divided among those who think Law has got a plan and those who think he's winging it (often switching really).
"You can't possibly tell me there's some sort of plan behind this."
More than half of the crew looked a bit skeptical, the rest looked defensive.
Clione held up his hands. "Hey, I'm not complaining. I'll follow the captain wherever same as you. But you gotta admit that there isn't always a method to his madness. He really does do things on a whim."
"I disagree. The captain's just saying that but he knows what he's doing. Pretty sure there's a reason behind all his actions..." Protests started, so Penguin amended, "...that isn't just him being a bastard on purpose because he hates someone. Which is a pretty valid reason since we are pirates."
"How about that time we raided the flour factory?" Ikkaku asked.
Penguin's reply came immediately. "Discreet incendiary." A beat. "...also he hates bread."
Before they could celebrate, Shachi interrupted, "His dislike of bread counts as a reason and since it's incidental it doesn't count as a whim."
With narrowed eyes, Clione tried again. "The monastery? Dressing up as monks."
"Medicinal plant in the courtyard bred by this one priest."
"Marineford?"
"Allowed us to get intel and allies."
"And the emergency operations without anesthesia?"
"Possible drug interaction. Emporio Ivankov and their hormone powers."
So continued their back and forth. By the end of it, Penguin and Shachi looked way too smug. Truthfully, they both agreed Law was more impulsive than he let on, often unaware of it himself. But they knew the man they chose to follow always had a plan and purpose (though not necessarily present at the start, but semantics)
---------------------------------o
---------------------------------o
55. Marine Pet AU
Haha... Another one of those difficult to explain ones. Starring the Marines (particularly the original three admirals and Sengoku), and the Shichibukai.
Uhm... So everything's the same except the Shichibukai aren't pirates. They're animals. That's it.
It starts with a wayward flamingo wearing eyewear harassing officers near one of their HQs. Also the Marines need to improve their public image. For some reason, the best they came up with is to get a mascot. Hitting two birds with one stone. (Except they can't really hit the bird. They tried)
So the Marines build a zoo or a habitat. Here are the only types of pirates the World Government can tolerate. Aren't they cute and fluffy?
The public eat it all up. It's popular so now they have to commit. And really, these animals become so important their safety and wellbeing become the higher-ups' problem.
Kizaru is having fun. Aokiji is resigned. Akainu tries (he doesn't quite know what but he'll do what's best for the Marines even if that's getting that damn flamingo away from the reptile enclosure for the tenth time that week on a Tuesday.)
Will feature other marines as well as all of the Shichibukai. All of them.
He checked the schedule and sighed deeply.
Boa, Doflamingo, Mihawk.
He had the most troublesome ones. Briefly, he contemplated just letting his subordinates handle them but quickly scrapped the idea.
He wouldn't say these animals were attached to him and the other admirals but they got more difficult to handle the lower the rank as though these creatures' egos get ruffled. It wasn't a matter of ability. It was perhaps more accurate to say that they had respect. A modicum of it.
It should be Boa's feeding time. Another sigh escaped him as he headed towards the grooming room, a room specifically made to groom Boa's food.
It took them a while to figure out the snake's preferred diet but they found it out when a stray kitten had snuck in and Boa swooped in to swallow it whole. From there they determined that she would only eat cute animals--any less adorable and she doesn't even look at it. So puppies and kittens. And maybe bunny rabbits. Which was bad from a PR perspective so they've taken to grooming rats. Put a nice lovely ribbon and brushed them so they're all fluffy.
He entered the grooming room and one of the officers assigned there took a quick look at him, glanced down the rat they were grooming, then burst to tears (they tended to get attached.) He pressed his hand to his head letting the ice cool down his budding headache. Why couldn't he have gotten Jinbe?
Thank you for playing. :)

One Piece Fanfic
(This is probably gonna be a one time thing...maybe but I’m gonna do it anyway)
There wasn’t a problem that the Vinsmoke family had taken care of, almost nothing got in their way, if they wanted something they will do anything even flatten continents to get what they want. But...in recent days, after the whole wedding/assassination attempt at Germa Kingdom upon Whole Cake island. They took notice of an island filled with technologies and magics that run rampant showing more power and grace than any other nobility and royalty currently in the world...one such rumor that you need one of the natives to clarify as true...is it’s Gem Elite...toughest of the tough and is said a single one of the Gem Elite could wipe out an entire Germa Fleet. The weird part is that The World Government is on thin ice with the kingdom...trying it’s best to try and get what many would deem as fantasy but to no avail. Another rumor circulating is that one of the heiresses, one of the main princesses of said kingdom is completely untamed and as wild as they come but unlike most that would just stay where they are familiar with and live the way despite the constant scoldings and punishments but not her she had vanished and unlike most that would be found almost immediately she couldn’t be found, she knew how they were operated and so she knew how to be completely invisible to all that are looking for her, she was missing and was searched relentlessly for a long time only to be resurfaced as one of The White Beard Pirates and by her side...was Portgas D. Ace with the reputation as Mystical Storm of the Whitebeard Pirates. When Ace and White Beard died it was shown that she out of all of them were the most devastated. The remainder of The Whitebeard Pirates has scattered and she has completely vanished and if any one of Whitebeard pirates knew anything of her location they wouldn’t talk no matter the torture or interrogation. Until it appeared in the newspaper that she was caught by the family that she has run from the headline says, ‘Jewel Isle Princess Found & Safely Returned Home’ when in actuality she had fought against the entire Royal Guard with the help of the top dogs of the Navy. It was a battle hard fought and it is said that her anger and fury had nearly overpowered now Fleet Admiral Akainu if not for the help of the other Vice Admirals, but she was brought back to the cage that she had run from so long ago. No one knows the full details but one thing is for certain, you have to prep for war if you want her to do something against her morals and values.
The Vinsmoke Family learned this the hard way when they were invited to The Crystal Ball. Where all from the highest ranking noblemen and fearsome pirates come to party as well as for the royal family to show the culture and lifestyle of their kingdom.
Within the beautiful humble halls of the Jewel Palace, a lone girl sits her legs crossed comfortably as she watches the sun come from the horizon, as light flooded the skies chasing the colors of the night away to make room for the rays of the sun and as the sunlight floods flood through the appearance appears, a girl with very long silky onyx hair that descends to sapphire that should reflect silver but it doesn’t, her eyes of pink diamonds, her skin a beautiful sun kissed tan...from all the years in the sunlight, her body is very curvy yet slender but there’s one thing that separates her from the typical princess or damsel in distress, she is very fit and has the muscles to show it but it seems almost masked. She is drop dead gorgeous. She is dressed in a dark blue long sleeved spacious off one shoulder shirt, dark white pants and black and gray thick heeled boots. “Princess Zhalia! Princess Zhalia!” A maid called frantically, the girl looked over and saw many of the maids running around like chickens with their heads cut off, the girl sighed, “What!” she called her voice could be the envy of sirens if not for the sharpness and annoyance that was evident in her tone they looked up and saw her on the roof and sighed in relief that quickly turned to panic, “What are you doing on the roof!? Get down from there!” they called thinking that she would get hurt she just rolled her eyes and jumped down causing them to scream but she landed without any injury, “You can tell Emerald that I am fine.” she states her voice pleasant to the ear but ice cold, stone hard and blade sharp.
The princess walked with the party of maids one of them (the head maid) scolding her about being so reckless and telling her to be more like her sisters but she kept a poker face that Doflamingo himself has been trying but to no avail to decipher. As they reached the throne room where the King and Queen as well as the other royal children are present, Zhalia just scoffed as the maids bowed, “Here is Princess Zhalia Your Majesties. She was on the roof.” said the head maid, she crossed her arms with a solid scowl that has been proven unreadable, “How why were you up there?” asked the queen as the maids left in total silence,
“I like watching the sunrise. Is that a crime?” She growls
“Don’t take that tone with your mother!” The King scolds
“She is not my mother. She died a long time ago.” Tone flat. Matter of fact.
“But it wouldn’t kill you to try.” said the king
She said nothing she looked to the others, “why do you want me here? It’s clearly not for something that would require the rest of the royal family...after all, you all take it upon yourselves to make decisions for me.” she said again more flat, colder and sharper but it made all of them flinch.
“No. We are to discuss The Crystal Ball.” said the prince, Zhalia rolls her eyes with her head going with it,
“Of. course.”
“You are going to behave right?” The queen asked
“Yeah yeah, Malachite.” she states. She walks back to her chambers with the other members of the royal family calling after her as she walks intending to ignore them. That is until someone grabbed onto her wrist she turned to see it was one of her sisters, with beautiful light tan skin, waist long lightly touching the small of her back emerald green hair that is fully down and decked out in beautiful green diamonds that is connected to a tiara, emerald green eyes, just a little taller than her, she is in a beautiful dress that could only be described as royal the colors being pastel blue descending to lush forest green with dainty crystal green shoes to top it all off, “What do you want Emerald.” Zhalia states, it wasn’t a question it was in fact a statement for her voice had the same icy tone throughout all of the conversation with her father and ‘mother’, “you know it wouldn’t kill you to at least try to get to know her. she isn’t that bad.” states the emerald princess the former pirate snapped a glare at her, “there’s no way in any type of hell will I ever speak to that greedy banshee! She was the main contributing factor of me running in the bloody first place! She tries to control every aspect of my life but there’s no way in hell I’ll be her puppet nor will I be a damsel in distress. So. Do yourself a favor and leave me alone.” Zhalia states snapping her wrist away from her sister, “glad to see that you are at least not running this time.” a new voice says, a male voice both girls turn to the boy leaning against one of the pillars decked out in steel and silver, “cut the crap Steel. You know as well as I do that if I still had my way, I wouldn’t be within the same ocean as this place. How’s trying to get the Crystal Elite?” she growled the silver and steel grey boy scowled at her and she holds a smirk, “still can’t get them? But then again. They just don’t obey just anyone. Only those worthy of wielding the Crystal Saber can lead them.” she states and the boy glared at her knowing that she is right. None of the Royal Family has been able to get the Crystal Elite to obey them for years.
Ever since Queen Iris had died.
The Royal children’s real mother. Zhalia’s real mother.
The Crystal Ball had come, but it is not a joyous to the rebellious princess, for her it is like a pompous contest where she is the ultimate prize to brag about. Getting her to come back to her birthplace is one thing but to take the tiara once again is another thing altogether. Something that the King and the new Queen had been trying to do for many months...with no success; her sisters Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire and Topaz are present and are all within royal attire of the most beautiful gowns that represents their namesakes. Her brother Steel in the same kind of attire but in a uniform that can also be used in battle. The only one that is not in the formal attire of the Ball is the rebel herself, Zhalia. She is not in a dress but she is in a pearly white dress shirt with the first few top buttons undone showing that she is indeed wearing a necklace but won’t show what it is, black dress pants, black dress shoes and a scowl on her face. Her long hair in a loose ponytail braid. The other royals that are standing next to her sigh, “would it kill you to try and be like the others?” asked the queen, “with a noose, a gunshot or poison?” she shot back venomously. The queen sighs again but decides to drop it knowing that a scene will occur if she fights with the girl now. Zhalia spotted a pirate she knew, it’s Mihawk and she pulled a ghost of a smile as she belined for him. She whistled a tune to gain his attention which worked and a smile formed on his face, “well, well. Hello Zhalia...or should I say Princess Zhalia.” he greet as she playfully punches his shoulder. Hard. “do not call me that and you will keep your arm Mihawk.” she says with a small smile as he rubs his arm from slight pain, “right. How is being a princess?” he asks, “you mean pretty imprisonment? Great.” she says with hints of sarcasm.
Zhalia had chatted with Mihawk along with other pirates like Shanks and Law until someone tapped on her shoulder each one of her friends stepped back knowing this isn’t gonna end well. For she has made it clear she does not like three groups. The Blackbeard Pirates, The Big Mom Pirates and Germa 66 (The Vinsmoke family except Sanji). Now guess who had the guts to tap on her shoulder out of these three?
Germa 66, Eldest son. Ichji Vinsmoke. With a smirk on his face as she glares harshly at the redheaded Vinsmoke. She spots the other two Vinsmoke boys a little ways behind him, he’s there of his own validation. But what? “What the hell do you want Vinsmoke?” She asks him arms crossed, she’s on guard and her tone ice cold and the sound of her voice hard as stone. “I was just wondering why you are not acting as royal as your sisters.” he said now the pirates she was speaking with now are a good distance away.
They sense a bloodbath, “oh? You speak of acting royalty when you do not have a bond with one of your family members and act more like pains than princes. You couldn’t even get your brother to hang out with you without threatening him.” she says icily, she knows Sanji would rather die than be anywhere around the family that caused him so much pain and suffering...with his friends to back him up they hold no chance against them, he just laughed at himself saying that she is right, she held a glare at him knowing that he has a sinister meaning behind his laughter...it’s mainly a warning one she challenged. Both she and him had a chilling conversation mainly with her having every kind of burn at him and his brothers whom also joined in on the conversation. Basically, the chat she is having with the Vinsmoke boys is passive aggressive and the tense atmosphere is clear with the four of them. None of the other guests dared to get in between the four of them in fear of death.
Until she threw one certain that was a little below the belt with a dark velvety chuckle. Ichji made a grave mistake as soon as she gave the reply that struck a cord with him. He tried to punch her. Neither of brothers intervened for they are way too shocked of what Ichji just did.
She dodged his punch and with the fury to match that of a storm, she retaliated. It was glorious, she beat the ever living crap out of him and he didn’t even move from his spot as she flitted around him beating him to a pulp, in the mist of beating him up she knocked off his sunglasses. She did stop by grabbing both of his shoulders and flipping him over slamming him into the ground and full force. His hair over his eyes (effectively messed up) as she loomed over him, “I will never bow. To a brat like you. You do not intimidate me and you never will.” she states to him as she turns on her heels and leaves him. (The other two brothers were glued to the spot of what just happened).
If she had stayed a few moments longer and looked at the one she practically decimated in place closer; she would’ve seen...the hearts in his eyes.
(it’s not perfect. Don’t kill me)
