beep boop (an update)

Is anyone still alive on Tumblr? I sure hope so! I've been very quiet here for ages. To be honest, the development of shroom soup had all but stopped for a while. I just couldn't make myself do it. But I'm happy to say that we're back on track, and endgame is fast approaching. There isn't too much I can share right now that isn't spoilers, and I also feel like I should focus on making the game happen instead of talking about it, but yeah, it lives! Sorry I can't show much, but um, have an Arnika talksprite?

Mostly making this post to highlight some updates:

Changed my itch.io username, shroomy-games -> uboaappears. Old links will redirect, but the previous redirect (from "toxicshroomswamp" won't work anymore. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Twitter has been my main platform the past couple of years, but due to recent events I've decided to branch out to the Fediverse, just like many other creators. So you can now follow me on Misskey! It's a cute Japanese website with a nice culture, I'm liking it so far.

I stream on Twitch every now and then. Unfortunately I can't really show shroom soup work as much as I'd like to, because spoilers. But I do general drawing and gaming streams. I usually post announcements on Twitter (and will on Misskey as well). If you'd like to come hang out, please do 🍄

It's been hard to stay motivated through everything, but hopefully in a few months I can share good news!
