»» ──────ஓ๑♄๑ஓ ────── ««     ᴀꜱ  ꜱᴏᴏɴ  ᴀꜱ   he  spoke  the  words,  he  almost  instantly  began  to  regret  it.   he  could  hear  just  how  much  ash’s  voice  trembled  as  he  responded,  and  he  didn’t  need  to  look  into  his  eyes  to  see  how  tense  he  had  gotten  from  the  older  man’s  sudden  insecurity  that  flew  into  his  chest  like  a  meteor.   he  had  no  idea  what  these  feelings  were,  or  what  they  meant,  but  ...  ash  was  something  special  to  him.   and  he  HATED  that  he  potentially  hurt  him  by  being  unable  to  control  the  words  that  came  from  his  mouth,  his  emotions  beginning  to  well  up  and  take  over  him  more  than  he  was  comfortable  admitting  to.

     the  other  didn’t  even  need  to  break  himself  off  once  he  finished  ;   he  knew,  deep  down,  where  the  conclusion  of  the  other’s  confession  would  end,  even  if  he  didn’t  completely  finish  his  sentence.   and  it  wasn’t  like  he’d  need  to,  for  dick  was  already  on  his  feet,  almost  RACING  across  the  room  to  grab  the  other  by  his  cheeks  and  press  his  lips  against  his,  quick  enough  to  be  the  force  that  near  cut  the  other  off  from  finishing.   he  just  wanted  to  shut  him  up,  to  show  him  how  SORRY  he  was  for  doubting  him  ...  and  to  let  him  know  that  he  wasn’t  alone  in  the  way  he  felt.

   Judith smiled brightly when Ashton’s words reached her ears. “Hell yes!” She was practically vibrating with energy as she spoke. “You shouldn’t ever be scared to be seen, and I’m happy that you’re finally recognizing that in yourself!” Her blue eyes were sparkling as she looked at her friend. “You deserve the whole world, Ash. I mean that.”

»» ──────ஓ๑🐾๑ஓ ────── «« ᴀꜱ ᴍᴜᴄʜ ᴀꜱ gar loved music, he had to admit he wasn't the biggest fan of singing, at least in public. when he was alone, however, he became a completely different person, one who was happy to belt out an emotionally intense yet depressing melody, BELTING out with as much power as he could muster acting as the only way to counter the tugging at his heartstrings, even if he was okay with getting emotional during performances at some points. however, when it came to karaoke, he became almost a completely different person, loving to dance around and sing, knowing that the crowd was on his side no matter what happened. most of the time, they ended up singing louder than he did anyway.

this time around, it appeared that he wasn't the only one to request a rock song from the 80s. up to sing with him was someone he didn't recognize, a young man a little older than him, with fuzzy brown hair and hazel eyes. someone who looked shy, but appeared to love music, from the way he quickly got into it, leaning in to belt out the lyrics along with gar as the track continued. his own energy levels SPIKED from the adrenaline rush, his excitement in what he was doing clearly shared by the stranger, and by the time the song ended, he was only pumped up, ready for more. it appeared this stranger loved music just as much as he did. ❝ man, that was super fun! what's your name? i'm gar. ❞

the yelp coming from the other boy startles him, too. even though he was the one to set off the reaction in the first place. alex can't help the quickstep he does, trying to find somewhere to hide. he could easily poof away, go hide in julie's room, but the chaos has easily allowed him to forget he can even do it in the first place. alex clutches his chest as it heaves, " why'd you scream?! " he exclaims. total overreaction, much? alex stares at him, " you come into our loft and you're asking who i am? jeez, man... " it feels like total deja vu, at least flynn had more of a chance to ease into understanding what was going on. alex pushes his hair back out of his face. " damn it, julie... " he mumbles under his breath. she could have given him a little warning at least. " i'm alex, " he answers finally, " i'm... dead. a ghost. a phantom... " he pauses for a moment. he knows it sounds crazy, " ...not that it's any consolation. anyway, who are you? "

»» ──────ஓ๑⚙︎๑ஓ ────── ««     ❝ ᴡᴀɪᴛ,  ꜱᴏ,  ʟᴇᴛ   me  get  this  straight.   you’ve  already  recorded  singles  and  albums  in  the  studio?   that’s  freakin’  awesome,  man! ❞   he  felt  a  sudden  strong  connection  with  ashton  at  the  realization.   it  seemed  as  though  his  long-lost  friend  had  developed  similar  passions  and  had  followed  a  SIMILAR  path  as  him,  no  matter  how  far  apart  they  ended  up  being.   he  was  just  so  happy  to  find  out  that  music  played  as  big  of  a  role  in  his  life  as  it  did  hiro’s.   it  made  him  so  excited.

»» ──────ஓ๑♄๑ஓ ────── ««     ❝ ...  ʟɪꜱᴛᴇɴ,  ᴍᴀɴ,  ɪ   know  you  want  to  get  cracking  on  another  song,  but  i  was  thinking  that  we  could  RELAX  tonight  and  just  take  it  easy.   there’s  this  horror  movie  i  found  that  looks  really  interesting  and  i  was  thinking  about  watching  that. ❞   it  was  embarrassing  to  outright  ask  if  the  other  wanted  to  watch  a  movie  with  him  ;   he  didn’t  want  to  feel  like  he  was  eight  again  at  the  moment.   his  brain  felt  a  bit  fried  with  all  the  hard  work  he  had  been  doing  writing  lyrics  for  their  album  together,  and  he  had  already  started  getting  CRACKING  on  his  own  guitar  riffs  and  melodies  for  the  verses  and  chorus.   he  just  wanted  to  ride  the  wave  tonight,  and  he  just  had  to  hope  that  ashton  felt  the  same.

Right, of course he wasn't - Steve gives a small nod of his head, "Yeah," Steve's voice a little quiet as he speaks ; because he's not really use to it. Having someone actually care about his wants, or his feelings ; or really anything to do with him that wasn't him modelling and playing the part of the perfect son. "Guess I'm just not use to it is all. I'm just very tired, and I can't relax else where."
