Hello everyone!
This is going to be my first post, so to introduce myself I'll use my astrological placements to give you all an idea of who I am. And make it really quick, sorry. I just don't know what to say. What would be useful to know about me as an author?
Astro placements! 🥳
I resonate with these placements however I can't say this is all who I am.
Let's not forget there are a billion stars around us and the time we know might be one of many. 💮🙊
So! my sun is in Scorpio (anurada) my moon in Taurus (krittika) and my rising in Virgo (hasta)
Mars is in Leo (purva phalguni), Mercury is in Scorpio (jyeshta), Venus is in Libra (swati), and Saturn is in Pisces (uttara bhadpada). which is my dk.. and a pain of my existence, but that's for later. 🤓
I will be making content that's related to astrology bc that is what I'm currently exploring with passion, and the future is still unknown 😌

Hiii! Read the ask of the freshmen girl dating someone older and now I'm trying to figure out if I'm in a similar situation 💀
I'm mostly a sun-mars girlie (dhanishta moon, krittika rising and uttara phalguni sun atmakaraka with mars amatyakaraka) and I've just finished the first year of uni. Had some not too concrete things with guys because I tend to distrust them due to past stuff (and ngl I was kind of a manhater before which I guess makes sense after what other people have said about mars girls lmao) BUT after a trip to another country I met this guy who's from there but because he's half from a country which speaks my native language we can comunicate with no problems and we really clicked
Nowwww, this guy's 25 💀. Which I'm not too sure if makes this a good idea at all? We've been talking since I left (nearly a month ago) and he's planning on coming to my country this October and we've agreed on just spending time together and getting to know each other with not too much pressure. He's been respectful with the fact I want to go slow and even if I don't know him that much bc it's been just a month I haven't found anything that would make me distrust him (but the age... Which we've also talked about and is also odd for him bc he used to have a limit of 3 years younger as a max). And truth is we're kind of different in lifestyle and character but somehow we get along really well so I'm not taking it too much into account (and add also the distance, which would make it possible to see each other just twice a year if anything were to happen)
Anywayyys, he's been really sweet but it's the age part, yknow? Plus I don't know his birth time yet but he's an anurada (or vishakha, depending on the hour) moon and mula sun guy and even though I'm crazy attracted to him the last time I dated a nodal...
Idk girl im just so confused 😭
Being 18-19 and dating a 25 year old 😔😔😔is not the greatest idea
I mean you can see where it goes or how it goes and if it feels wrong, you can cut him out. Please listen to protection mantras in the meanwhile though. Just in case. There's no harm in being protected in general so 😌
I don't want to make it seem like I'm fearmongering but you're being lowkey groomed.
Stay safe, see how it goes, don't place your bets on this. It does not sound ideal (u shouldn't wanna be in a long distance relationship with a 25yr old from another country at 19 babe 😭😭)
I have a guy friend, Purvashada Moon, who's been nothing but sweet af to me. However he dumped his gf of 5yrs and went for a freshman literally two weeks into freshmen appearing on our campus. He actually cheated on his gf 💀 and then it affected his reputation so they got back together and the minute we graduated, he went back to the 18yr old.
A 24 yr old man dating an 18yr old 💀💀💀 they went on a trip to some hill station and he posted pics of her in his hoodie and it made me 🤢🤢🤮🤢🤮 I just know that girl is going to be processing this trauma for yearrrss to come 💀😭
You don't know this man. You don't know his past. You don't know his history.
Exercise caution and thread carefully.
If you're looking for fun, just find a guy your age and be traumatized by him instead (jk) . Grown men will pull alllll kinds of stunts (they've had more years of practice) and you don't have the life experience to even discern that shit.
Like is it reallyyyy worth it 🧐 is this guy absolute godsent 🧐 probably not 🚫 because that's how men are

Case fatality rate over 30%, super-resistant bacteria are spreading in the shadow of corona
National Geographic Japan version
Candida auris, difficult to treat and disinfect, warns doctors around the world
Case fatality rate over 30%, super-resistant bacteria are spreading in the shadow of corona
CG illustration of Candida auris. The unicellular fungus Candida auris was first reported in 2009. It has strong drug resistance, is easily spread by nosocomial infections, and has a high mortality rate. (SCIENCE PHOTO LIBRARY / ALAMY STOCK PHOTO)
While the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) is rampant worldwide, infection with the super (ultra-multidrug) resistant bacterium Candida auris (both Candida auris), which may be resistant to all drugs Is expanding in part, doctors are warning. Candida auris is particularly susceptible to nosocomial infections, which puts a heavy burden on the medical field, which is flooded with corona patients this year.
Candida auris adheres to sheets, bed railings, doors, medical equipment, etc. and survives for a long time, and when touched by human hands, the infection spreads. In addition, there is a high risk of infection when inserting a tube into the body, such as a catheter, ventilator, or liquid food. Patients hospitalized in Corona are often exposed to these measures because of respiratory problems.
"Unfortunately, Candida auris is expanding in some areas," said Tom Chiller, director of mycosis at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). "Some have spread to emergency hospitals and corona wards. Once an infection is discovered, it's difficult to get rid of it completely, so I'm very worried."
The Candida fungus was originally known to cause mild symptoms such as white spots on the tongue and genitals. However, Candida auris has been reported in at least 40 countries since it was first reported by Professor Koichi Makimura of Teikyo University in 2009, and thousands of people have been infected. Although the pathogenicity of the Japanese type is low, there is also a type with a mortality rate of 30 to 60%.
Candida auris is not the only bacterium that is resistant to drugs. Already, millions of people worldwide are infected with various super-resistant strains, and the spread of Candida auris could exacerbate the crisis. In 2019, the CDC positioned Candida auris as one of the greatest threats among drug-resistant bacteria in the United States. By the end of August this year, 1364 cases have been confirmed in the United States. It is more than four times the number of infected people in 2018 as a whole.
However, this year, there are many cases of Candida auris that are overlooked behind the new Corona, and the actual number seems to be much higher than that. Even if the bacteria adhere to human skin, they may not show any symptoms. It is possible that the death toll from super-resistant bacteria is among the excess mortality surges during the new corona epidemic. That's why doctors around the world are ringing the alarm.
Severely ill corona infected in hospital or 6 out of 10 dead
It was 2011. Several blood samples have been sent to Anurada Chaudhry, who worked at a laboratory in New Delhi, India. A mysterious fungal infection was spreading in the intensive care unit and neonatal room of two hospitals in the city.
Mr. Chaudhry, a professor of medical mycology at the Valabby Patel Chest Institute at the University of Delhi, was asked to identify the fungus and propose a therapeutic drug. After seeing the results of the analysis, Mr. Chaudhry twisted his head.
"Candida auris? What's that?"
It's no wonder Mr. Chaudley didn't know. Candida auris was first reported only two years ago. Found in the ears of a patient, it was named "Auris," which means ear in Latin.
What surprised me most was that fluconazole, the first treatment used for fungal infections, had no effect on Mr. Chaudley's blood samples. In 2013, Candida Auris published a paper on the subject, which was later revealed to be resistant to fluconazole and other azoles. Also, even the other two major types of antibiotics may not work.
Currently, Mr. Chowdley is studying a patient with candidaemia among the severely ill patients of the new corona who entered the intensive care unit in Delhi. It is a disease caused by Candida albicans entering the blood.
According to the results of a small study published in the November issue of the medical journal "Emerging Infectious Diseases" by Mr. Caudley et al., Candida auris was found in 10 out of 15 patients. Both are believed to have been infected in the hospital.
All blood samples were resistant to fluconazole, and 4 of the strains isolated from the blood did not respond to the other antibacterial drug amphotericin B. The last hope, Echinocandin, is difficult to obtain in India. Eventually, six people died.
Mr. Chaudley, like the new Corona, argues that testing and contact tracking are important to control the spread of Candida auris. The Candida auris test is done by rubbing the surface of the skin or by collecting blood or urine. Patients who test positive will be examined for the effects of three antibiotics.
In this way, it is possible to identify the number of deaths due to super-resistant bacteria to some extent, but the fact that it is easily infected in the hospital complicates the problem. In hospitals, patients already have other illnesses, such as corona, and it is difficult to determine whether the cause of death is due to the illness or drug-resistant bacteria.
Climate change and pandemics
In 2019, the World Health Organization (WHO) listed drug-resistant bacteria as one of the top 10 threats to human health, returning to a world where tuberculosis and even gonorrhea, which are now easily treated, are out of control. He expressed concern that it would end up.
It is said that the abuse of antibacterial drugs in the medical field of livestock and humans worldwide gave birth to super-resistant bacteria. But climate variability predicts that fungal infections will spread further in the future, said Ramanan Laxminarayan, founder and representative of the Center for Pathological Economic Policy (CDDEP) in Washington, D.C.
A paper published last year in the American Society for Microbiology journal "mBio" stated that "Candida auris may be the first fungal infection born of climate variability."
Humans tend to have a fever as a defensive reaction when they get an infectious disease. This is because the fungus is sensitive to heat. However, if fungi such as Candida auris adapt to hot environments due to global warming, their defenses may be ineffective. This means that in the future, not only will existing fungi expand, but new fungal infections may emerge.
"Just as more bacteria aren't working with antibiotics, fungi that aren't working with antibacterial drugs may threaten humanity," Lacus Minarayan warns. Strong bacteria such as multidrug-resistant M. tuberculosis and Clostridioides difficile, whose cases are rapidly increasing mainly in North America, account for 99% of the 2.8 million super-resistant bacterial infections in the United States annually. The death toll is about 35,000.
India, which has long been said to be a hotbed for fostering drug resistance, is now the center of the epidemic of the new coronavirus disease. In Mr. Chaudley's lab, about half of the staff were also tested positive for corona in recent tests, killing two. Mr. Chaudhry welcomes people as they begin to realize the threat of Candida auris in a difficult personal situation.
"Many people thought it was an Indian problem and had nothing to do with them. So far I've been studying alone and I've had a hard time, but now the world is working on it. Fungal infections are diseases that should never be ignored. "

anuradha + phantom thread (2017)
spoiler warning!
nakshatras as movies i love
Ruled by Mitra, lord of Compassion, this benevolent placement welcomes abundance yet also to play nice but fight dirty. Anuradha natives possess Radhana Shakti or the power of worship. Radha was an unwavering devotee of Krishna, Mary Magdalene of Jesus. Devotion is magical in that the object of your affections is deified, but also humanized into something to speak softly to, to cradle in your arms like a lamb.
Healing can save all souls, especially that of the healer. I tend to associate this placement with the kind of symbolism the asteroid Chiron is associated with in western astrology. The wounded healer, Anuradhas can only put so much good into the world because they have seen the worst of it.
Nevertheless, bearing scars from your past can also mean hefting a weighty chip on your shoulder. They'd jump in front of a car for their loved ones, but this is one placement that you do not betray. Wrathful after deception, a betrayed Anuradha is like watching the beginning of a car crash; horrifying and inevitable. Unhealthy Anuradhas can even become overly jealous, melancholic, and controlling of their partners. These control issues can be explained by their Saturnian nature. Being ruled by Shani, the Scorpio placements often have an almost psychic understanding of everything that could possibly go wrong. This trait makes them excellent strategists, lawyers, negotiators, and therapists, but can also lead to them trying to avoid every possible negative outcome in life, at the expense of their happiness.
Hence, Anuradas should try to understand that compassion is a two-way street and that good intentions paved the road to hell. Lifelong faith can be terribly romantic, but only if one loosens the reins enough for it to be mutual. Anuradhas nurture those around them so they must learn to accept and trust their loved ones trying to care for them too.
#astrology#astro#vedic#nakshatra#nakshatras#scorpio#anuradha#anurada#phantom thread#yes ik alma poisoning reynolds was terribly romantic but only because at the end he acknowledged her! he saw her and loved her!#until then it was her grasping at the straws of control while living a unsteady life in a brand-new country and profession#anuradhas want to be seen more than they want to be safe#compassion is not a balancing act but the lighting of a lamp#rikastrology

This Blog is long time coming. Thought about what I should include in this blog for long time. First of all I am a Sri Lankan, American. Lived in the country for 16 years before I migrated to US. So I have better knowledge about the country, culture, food and its people more than the travel vlogers and bloggers out there who also only visitors to the country just like you, so they don't have the first hand knowledge what to do in the first place. I'm by no means trying to disrespect them, just felt like give all of you better understanding of the country and what to expect, since lot of people like to travel to the country these days.
I will try to make this step by step guideline type of info so all of you have better understanding on things next time you go to Sri Lanka.
first of all, Sri Lanka is beautiful tropical country. It full of culture, beaches, waterfalls, trees, mountains, delicious spicy food and most of all full of great and kids people. ( I will have a post to one of my videos so you have a better look about what I'm talking about)
Weather
Sri Lanka is a humid and hot weather country almost year around. So it is very important that you pack your cloths accordingly. I usually take thirsts and shorts. Just one or two pants if I need to go to a fancy place
Visa requirements
It is very important that you get visa before you visit the country. Yes you can get visa once you landed if you have a passport from one of the European countries, us, British or highly regarded countries ( please research before you go) but its $10.00 more ( I think) and you have to wait in the line, answer questions. This way, it will take 5 minutes ( at least with my experience) from time you submit the form and to get you email confirmation.
Link for the Visas
https://www.eta.org.lk/?gclid=CjwKCAjwzdLrBRBiEiwAEHrAYjUK1_tXEAkulaCaKicByNEuaS-jsq8OKCAp9p_WtYJ_IOlM5g3PmBoCA4YQAvD_BwE
Once you land
Once you landed and proceed to the exit area, you can find stalls to get phone, internet service and also money exchange services. But, if you want to get a good rate for your money, you need to enter the country and go to places outside. Don't worry, there are many places around Colombo. Do not go to s bank, because they give you the less money. Workers willingly come help you only to make money from you. They will help with your bags and do anything and expect q
Finding a ride in to the city as important as anything you going to do in Sri Lanka. ( a lot about this will talk about in later) If you can arrange a ride ride before you land, that the best. Drivers who stand outside will charge arm and a leg for the ride. They also will take the longer rout to charge you more. Public buses are all over but if you like to give up any kind of comfort, don't take this option.
The best options are if you didn't make the arrangements before you arrive is to call for Uber or pick-me.
Hotels
There are many cheaper hostels around the country now, but if you traveling with family or kids this is not a best option, since it tend to cater for backpackers. When you looking for hotels on search sites, take a look at outside of gale face area or central area. Sri Lanka is a small country, so its not far to the city center or to gale face area and you can save so much money that way. And the best way to enjoy the country and get out of the heat is to get away from Colombo. Go to Nuwere Eliya, Kanday or galle , but these places are full or tourists so the prices are little high, specially in the season.
Travel agents
Travel agents only idea is to show you tourist area in a short time, put you in middle class hotels, cramp you lot of things to see in a short period and send you home. For this, they will charge you so much money and the same time making money out of hotels by bringing you there. Do me a favor, do your own research. Seven to ten days is not enough to see everything and relax at the same time, trust me. At least 14 to 18 days if you in a short vacation need to enjoy your vacation. You don't need travel agents at all, most of them cant speak good English anyways. There are tons of videos on You-tube and other sites and tons of information available if you just research before you come. You can book everything on your own and plan everything. At the end of this article, I will name few places you should go, so look at some videos on those places and look at the hotel prices. Most of the time of you need to ride, the hotel you stay in can arrange that.
Very important
Do not, I mean do not ever trust took took driver, shop owners or anyone trying to sell something to you. They will charge 800% of what it really cost. Specially scammers you meet on the road trying to show you something or sell you something. DO NOT TRUST A WORD THEY SAY. Just ignore them completely. Like I said before use pick-me app on your phone or Uber if you want to go anywhere. If you really wanna find some information ask your hotel or just locals, they will help you anyway they can. Sri Lankan's are very friendly people, they just shy and most of them cant understanding English.
Food
You have to try sri lanka food. Spicy but one of the best food you ever eat. You will never forget the taste. So don't shy away from it. Again, you can watch tons of video on this subject too.
Places you should visit
Nuwere Eliya, Kandy and dalada maligawa, Sri pada, Kalaniya, Kathatagama, Anurada pura, Polonnaruwa, Sigiriya, Unawatuna, Yala national park, Alla, 9 arch bridge, train ride to nuwere eliya
( copy and past these names to your browser )
Watch the videos that I created, if you wanna get better understanding on things. And feel free to message me if you have any questions or need any help.

Lmao please don’t laugh but I thought I was gonna marry this guy who has pretty much ALL his planets in Anurada, Jyeshtha, and Mula.
No no no. That’s not…
He’s a Sag stellium in tropical. Obsessed with creating his “legacy”, changing his life plan every 3 business days, the MOST impulsive person I’ve ever met. And extremely selfish.
I do not recommend that combo
