I’ve been thinking about SINF characters as TMA Avatars and yeah so that’s an idea I’ve had for too long and I dunno where to post that fact so here we are

Do I really like the random headcannon I made where that anpu who spoke in the temple of the sun was basically Anubis’ therapist? Yes.

To make up for my lack of art yesterday, you guys get this picture of Anubis in a hoodie being a little pure baby boy with his devourer of souls.

I’ve scrapped all my past Anubis headcannons, SINF discord has way better ideas.

Anyway, I do have this one thing where Anubis’ Shadowrealm is mainly made up of a river and grasslands and beaches and starlit nights and little forests and groves and it’s just pretty and there’s packs of jackals and coyotes and wolves to keep Bastet away because she’e nasty.

Anubis struggled to even make out what his mother was saying, only that she was in a rage. The fact alone that she had bothered to call him was cause enough for concern, but he wasn’t in her immediate presence so he could let himself smile a little as he tried to get her to start talking legibly.

“Mother please...”

“DO NOT “MOTHER PLEASE” ME!”

“I’m sure whatever’s happened can be fixed-”

“THE ENGLISH MAGICIAN HAS RUINED EVERYTHING.”

“Wh- The English- Doctor Dee?”

“YES. HIM. HE’S RUINED EVERYTHING AND NOW WE WON’T BE ABLE TO RESORE DANU TALIS.”

Anubis winced at his mother’s sharp and raised voice, but he was smiling.

“Well, you’re still alive, aren’t you?”

“....Yes.”

“Good. I’m sure you can make the most of things.”

Anubis hung up and sighed. He’d grown to like the Humani in his time. They were innovative little creatures, and watching them build cities and fight over politics was entertaining. He wouldn’t admit this to his mother, of course, but he was at least able to dismiss her with a press of a button. And that was enough to free him from her belittling.

Ok ok ok but seriously guys we need to think about what happened to Anubis, because I don’t think we get anything about him in the modern day. I like to think that he’s formed his own opinions on the Humani and happens to like them, keeps up with celebrity drama, and has some strong opinions. He also uses his Jackal hybrid thing to his advantage, and just uses the powers of cuteness to get what he wants out of his immortal employees

This is so good!!! I love the design for Anubis and the anpu. They look incredible! The armor is absolutely beautiful as well.
