I am a proud member of the #InstitutoGraficoDeChicago which is a #printmaking collective formed by Latin American artists in #Chicago One of the goals of the group is bringing #art and #culture through #grabado focusing in the younger generations. One big project by the #IGC is #Grabadolandia the only FREE printmaking festival in the US and this year ( November 18, 19 & 20 ) it will be back as an in-person festival at the #NationalMuseumOfMexicanArt @explorenmma ( mark your calendars, SAVE THE DATE and bring your abuelit@ ! ) The #IGC was founded by #AntonioPazaran @elantonio13 #RicardoSerment @rxserment #EricGarcia @elmacheteillustrated #VanessaSanchez @colormevane and #JoseLuisGutierrez @pepetorias_elgtz Other members joined later including #SalvadorJimenez @salvador_jimenez_flores #CarlosBarberena @carlosbarberena #EricGasca @thegascattack and myself ( including former member #EpifanioMonarrez @epifaniostudios ) ALL RESPECT TO THEM, carnales!
