#anton vc: can i protect her always??

“Thank you for being my friend, Anton,” Zelda says with a smile as she hands over a small wooden ocarina handmade in Kariko Village. “I hope you’ll join me for dinner tonight, if you have the time.”

          “ For you, princess: always. ” Of course, it wasn’t like he had any grand aspirations or plans set in stone for celebrating the holiday this year. But Zelda always seemed to go above and beyond for her friends, so much so that his response to asking him over for dinner was as natural and spirited as any. Good timing, too, because he had a gift especially made for her as well, presenting her with a small wooden box all wrapped up in a bow with blue ribbon.

          Inside was a Rito-style hair ornament, not unlike his own, but instead it had been painted royal blue with a floral motif that represented the Silent Princess. Her favorite flower. Or at least, that’s what it was supposed to look like. Sadly he was a musician, not a painter.

                  “ I’ve never made one of these myself, so I had Kass help me with the details. You’d think after growing up alongside the Rito, I’d know it like the back of my hand. But alas, I spent more of my time experimenting with strings rather than a paintbrush. ”
