Who is Jose’s best friend?

Jose’s best friend is... a ghost!

The ghosts name is Kronos, and he’s *technically* supposed to be a reaper-esque ghost that ferries the minor souls of animals to the next life. He met Jose when the boy was only about 4 years old, and in subsequent years was moved by how much a small child was willing to make room in his life for him despite his reputation.

He went on a sabbatical of sorts for several years, hopping in and out of Jose’s life until he was about 10, and started to just stick around.

Kronos’ age is unknown, but he is steadfast and always willing to listen in a way only an ancient being can be. Jose cherishes him deeply.

I love drawing OCs more than almost anything

Regency/19th century AU with my OCs and @cynderarts Rey 

Its 1866 when German Immigrant “Doctor” Geoffrey Dirk comes to the modestly large town of West Plains, he doesn’t have much of an interest in interacting with his fellow townspeople as he studies the plant life, herbs, and the new fae in the still new world. But a persistent boy by the name of Jose - son of an eastern doll maker and a Spanish baker- desires to join him as his apprentice. Though their first interaction has him acting mostly hostile and racist, a sizable pay from his parents convince him to take the child on as his assistant for now. 

But he’s not the only one studying fairies in the village. A man who seems to have no name has come to the local inn and keeps running into the duo - so starts a story of friendship, family, magic and understanding. 

It is 3:45 AM so lets see if I can think of more of a story after a night’s sleep
