Nesta/Feyre Parallels

• Both have killed a Middengard Wyrm

• Both have been tortured, killed*, and turned High Fae against their will. (*Nesta's torture in the Cauldron was described as her mortal self dying for her to emerge as an immortal being)

• Feyre saved Prythian; Nesta saved all worlds

• Tamlin and Ianthe tried to use and control Feyre and only saw her as a means for stability. The IC continuously try to manipulate, use, and control Nesta and they only see her as a weapon they can wield

• Tamlin and Ianthe refused to let Feyre explore her magic, let alone learn how to control it. As much as the IC fear Nesta's magic, they didn't seem inclined to help her explore it. They forced her to train, they forced her to work in the library, but yet they didn't force her to learn how to control her magic? She seemed to have learned more about her powers between ACOSF and HOFAS, but it's still awfully convenient that she didn't learn more about her powers until after she sacrificed most of it. It's almost like the IC didn't want Nesta to know how powerful she was.

• Feyre was locked up in the spring court manor. Nesta was locked up in the HoW.

• Feyre didn't know she could winnow until after she left Spring. Nesta acknowledged in HOFAS that she still doesn't know if she can winnow because she has yet to try. She has a mate, she has family and friends in the IC, but yet no one's curious as to whether or not she can winnow? I guarantee you, next book, we're going to find out that Nesta can, indeed, winnow.

• Tamlin ignored Feyre's well-being after she saved Prythian, to the point that Cassian mentioned how thin and withdrawn she was when she first came to the Night Court. The IC are ignoring Nesta's emotional well-being, even though she ended up saving all worlds, to the point that Ember mentioned Nesta's vacant and carefully blank face; her thin, brittle voice; the bruised and guilty look in her eyes; the fact that she raised the wall of steel in her mind to protect herself from her very own mate.

I've said this before and I'll say it again: the Night Court is to Nesta what the Spring Court was to Feyre. The IC treat Nesta just like Tamlin treated Feyre. Feyre left Spring to find her home in the Night Court. Now it's time for Nesta to leave the Night Court to go find her home in Dusk.

Tamlin only angled his head at Rhys. "When you fuck her, have you ever noticed that little noise she makes right before she climaxes?"

But it was Azriel who said, his voice like cold death, "Be careful how you speak about my High Lady."

"I'd be careful when you're fucking her," Amren added, lips curling in a sneer. "Who knows what she might transform you into when her emotions are high?"

"That's enough," Azriel said, and Cassian turned grateful eyes to his brother.

Where was this Cassian in HOFAS? Tamlin only snarls at Nesta, and Cassian immediately comes to her defense.

Nesta let out a low laugh. "If you want someone to blame for all of this," she said to Tamlin, "perhaps you should first look in the mirror."

Tamlin snarled at her.

Cassian snarled right back, "Watch it."

But when Rhysand threatens her in Cassian and Nesta's home, Cassian only takes a step closer to Nesta. He doesn't get in between them, he doesn't snarl at Rhysand to "Watch it". He just lets it happen, let's Rhysand treat Nesta however he wants.

Feyre was locked in the manor by Tamlin.

Then Feyre's grateful to be in the Night Court because Rhys would never do such a thing, and if he did, Cass and Az would fly her away before confronting him about it.

But, then they all pull a Tamlin and go and lock Nesta in the House.

For all the Feysand stans who say that Nesta wasn't locked in the House because she could have walked down the TEN THOUSAND STEPS: I'd love to see you try.

Feyre is just like Tamlin. And ACOSF was not the first time she's done something that he would've done.

Nobody holds Elain back like Elain holds herself back.

I see so many people hating on Az for not allowing Elain to get involved after she stated she wanted to. Okay, let's be honest with ourselves, the entire IC refuses to allow Elain to get involved with anything. The entire IC treats Elain like she's an oblivious flower girl who needs to be coddled. Feyre refused to even give Elain the opportunity to dance with Eris. Plus, if Elain truly wanted to help, she could've. She refuses to fight for herself.

I also see people hating on Az for not treating Elain like she's a person, but does anyone in the IC? Elain is always the flower girl or Feyre's big sister, but does she have her own identity? No.

Just like how Feyre wasn't treated like a person by Tamlin, so she found a new family with the IC. Nesta wasn't treated like a person by the IC, so she found a new family with the Valkyries. Elain's not treated like a person by the IC, but she'll probably find a new family with the Band of Exiles.

And then later she went to check and make sure he was alright. But only to look better than Tamlin.
