Catwoman, the enigmatic antiheroine of Gotham,  embodies a unique brand of feminism that challenges traditional gender roles and societal expectations.  Her dual identity as Selina Kyle and Catwoman allows her to navigate both the criminal underworld and high society with ease,  showcasing her adaptability and resilience.  Unlike many female characters who are often relegated to supporting roles, Catwoman stands as a powerful, independent figure who refuses to be defined by her relationships with men. Her strength lies not only in her physical prowess but also in her intelligence, cunning, and unwavering sense of justice, albeit on her own terms.
Through her complex character, Catwoman highlights the multifaceted nature of feminism. She is unapologetically herself, embracing her flaws and strengths alike.  Her actions, whether seen as heroic or villainous, are driven by a desire for autonomy and self-determination.  In a world that often seeks to control and confine women,  Catwoman's defiance and independence serve as a powerful statement of empowerment.  She is a reminder that feminism is not a one-size-fits-all movement but a diverse and dynamic force that celebrates the individuality and agency of every woman.

Fiyeraba is like, “What if Prince Charming fell for the evil witch instead of the virtuous princess?” and I love them for that.

ANTIHEROINES!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
If she’s a criminal, a grifter, a villain or a generally bad dude, we’re here for her, we support her, and we’re rooting for her to fall in love!
In this one, we talk about the way ANTIHEROINES play in romance, about how we hold them to different standards than antiheroes (it’s the patriarchy, that’s why!), and about why they seem to be more prevalent in historicals and paranormals than they are in contemporaries.

I hope that Zheng turns out to be a toxic girlboss all on her own and that they don't do the trope of "woman becomes dangerous/unstable because she's been scorned by a man" bc that's overused as hell and I personally hate it.
Like, let her have flaws, and let her have them for her own reasons, not bc of a dude even if that dude is Oluwande.

If it wasn't obvious by character design, only surviving heir to an old blood line, and in her role as "merciless force against the system" in a story about verging perspectives, Edelgard is basically what the version of Dany "she should do more war crimes, as a treat (and to piss her haters off)" Dany fans wishes they had.

If you're looking for examples of ships with an african american (anti)heroine and a villain, Grace Monroe and her former partner Simon Laurent of Infinity Train might count? In this case, Grace used to be bad too, but slowly starts to turn her life around over the show. There is no happy ending though, Simon ends up dead and Grace ends up walking the path to recovery alone.
Thank you for recommendation!

My comic of Rag-Doll, when I was in the University, I needed to draw a comic about a short-story, so I decided to write this very improved mini comic, I wanted to do a very better comic than that, anyways, I get a 9, because in México the grades are since 1 to 10, and The 10 Is the perfect one.

Hello, TONIGHT I am getting emotional over the fact that River posits herself as not a good person and thinks she's worse than she is, but her mom referred to her multiple times as "a good girl" in a very genuine sense.
