Remember that part of the purpose of propaganda is to convince you that you're helpless, and it's working, even on people who seem immune to other forms of propaganda. Like, I saw a post that was such a blatant violation of tenant's rights, that any mention of those rights existing or the ability to sue would probably cause the landlord to back down. But people were telling OP she shouldn't try anything because it's impossible for capitalists to lose in courts. Like, you realize you're running capitalism's propaganda wing for them?
If your position is that small scale resistance is useless because capitalists always win under our system, that incremental change is useless because democracy isn't real, and that revolution is useless because capitalists are too strong, then your "leftist theory" is capitalist propaganda.

Hey so... anyone talking about the fact that the labour day protest in Stuttgart could walk like 50m until the cops started pepper spraying and beating us because some of us wore masks? No? Ok then.

Fijne bevrijdingsdag voor al mijn Nederlandse kameraden!
Happy Dutch Liberation Day! Seeing how the fascist party PVV became the largest party in the last elections, and that the outspoken nazi Martin Bosma is the current kamervoorzitter (chairman of parliament) and was allowed to place a wreath at dodenherdenking, the yearly memorial that was once meant to commemorate the people killed in the struggle against fascism, we all need to be preparing to free the Netherlands from the fascists again in the near future.
Join your local antifa. Join local solidarity networks. Get to know your neighbours and community. Get connected to your local extra-parliamentary leftists, whether it's your local antifascists, de Vrije Bond, Revolutionaire Eenheid, de Internationale Socialisten, BIJ1, Rood, NCPN or whoever's organizing near you. None of the "leftist" parties in parliament can be trusted. Bad times are coming, and we need to be preparing yesterday.

For United Action Against Fascism New York: Communist Party of USA [1933]
An early anti-fascist pamphlet from the CPUSA originally published as an editorial in the April 1933 issue of The Communist, and reprinted as a pamphlet for the Madison Square meeting against Fascism, April 5, 1933. The Party traces fascism’s emergence in Germany and the conditions by which it grew, including the inability of German Communists to unite with the social-democrats in opposing Hitler. The pamphlet concludes by detailing the work of the CPUSA in organizing a united front against fascism.

socialism is not an inevitability. it's not something that will just happen if we wait around long enough, or if we push capitalism to its worst extremes, and it definitely isn't something that can be achieved by means of reform, or by just voting in the right guy.
the only way any form of socialist society, whether that's anarchism, or marxism-leninism-maoism, or anything in between, can be brought about is by means of collective struggle and revolutionary action.
there's a reason why rosa luxemburg said that 'we must either move forward into socialism, or fall back into barbarism'.
decided to post this bc i've noticed a lot of online leftist spaces being more openly reformist in their ideological positions, in spite of the blatant flaws with reform-oriented ideas of how to bring about socialism.

Never trust anyone who criticizes people with privilege more than they do people with power. If someone's version of class consciousness leads them to see academics, white collar workers, people who can afford things they can't, and people they see as 'intellectuals' as the enemy, more often than they see billionaires, politicians, the police state, and Christian fundamentalism as the enemy, they do not have your best interest in mind. When people who make hundreds, see people who make thousands as the enemy, people who make millions win.
If you see yourself falling into these traps, be aware of it, and remember that there's a difference between those who are privileged under systems of power, and those who control and benefit from them. While it's important to see privilege, you have to understand that it isn't the same as power. The average blue collar worker, and the average white collar worker have more interests in commen then either will ever have with a ceo. Division in the working class only benefits capitalism. And when you start to criticize things you consider intellectual because you think someone more privileged than you is associated with them, than you're starting to think like a fascist.

I need y'all to understand that treating Fascists as bumbling nonhuman idiots is dangerous real fucking fast
Fascists are HUMANS. Fascists are humans with skills and intelligence and they use those to harm people.
Fascists can be your coworkers, your friends, your neighbors, your bosses, your parents, etc.
They are people who live with the same access to resources as most of us, sometimes with more access (police officers).
Fascists know how to doxx and avoid doxxing. Fascists often train in martial arts and in ways to harm people. Fascists put up stickers and graffiti, fascists evade police, fascists are actively finding ways to harm people.
Their ideology is abhorrent and needs to be ashes, but you cannot do that if you keep underestimating them. Trust me, if you continue to go about your day thinking "Fascists are dumb!" You will lull yourself into this false sense of safety and ignorance and it will knock you on your ass. Stop walking around with a big "I AM ANTIFA" shirt unless you're ready to possibly get hurt or even killed. Stop covering fascist stickers / posters / Graffiti / banners without checking out the area first to make sure they don't fucking follow you home. Wipe your images of Metadata so they don't find your location. Don't turn your backs to the fascists when you're countering them.
I get that we laugh at them and call them less intelligent or inhuman (which is fascistic in itself) to comfort ourselves but your coping will kill you. It's denialism.
Watching a proud boy vandalize a Walmart by destroy Bud Light is all fun and games until you realize "Oh yeah they're this violently angry because a trans person is on the can. They want to and will do this to trans people if given the chance".
Fascists are real people, with malicious fucking intentions, and if you at all want to stop them then you have to take them fucking seriously. While you laugh at them, they're organizing together and practicing fucking knife fights.
Get out there and take this seriously before it bites us in the ass. Because it will.
