Derek could not stop clicking his pen, he was filled with anxiety. He had a very special client coming in today, ot only was he the nephew of one of his friends but he was a genuine fucking rock star. He was sweating when he heard the door open and nearly fell out of his chair. “Hi... Hi! Mr.Langdon Sir!” he said as he got out of his seat to him. “I have the mock ups for the covers of your bands next album l-like you wanted...I-I made three...” he stuttered out.

Taylor choked back a laugh when he said Madison's name. Oh God this was perfect. "You're the absolute best," she snickered before leaning back. "Finally a night where she's not going to come in in whatever slinky little nightgown she has to try and get you in bed. She's so like..disgusting with that shit. If you wanted to bone her, pretty sure you would have done it by now. Like dude, I think I seriously love you right now."

Maybe Thea shouldn't be angry. She knew that he'd have to leave and take care of things but to do it without telling her, right after he found out that she was carrying his baby? Not cool at all. At least he knew that he'd fucked up and if he knew Thea like she thought he did, then he knew it wasn't going to be an easy fix to make her happy again. "You didn't just leave me," she muttered, hands resting on her swollen stomach as she looked at him. "You left us alone. I just wish you would have told me that you were leaving or at the very least, somehow gotten word back here. I was worried sick!"

But if you looked...really looked, inside those golden eyes, you would not like what you might find as what she really felt. “You were very difficult to find. They so desperately tried to protect you from my hunt. But you will learn, I always find you. Different forms, different names...but I always find you little beast.”

   His words hurt worse than anything. Vivien bite the inside of her cheek. “Right.” She nodded. “I forgot.” She said her tone somewhat harsh. “I’m not your mother just the women who carried you and birthed you and died in the process.” Saying it took a lot. “A host, to grow you.” She shrugged. “Is that it?” Vivien shook her head. Her harshness wasn’t towards Michael. She never once resented him. More so towards the whole situation. 

   “Maybe that’s for the best. Look what happened to the rest of my babies.”

Shortly after my mother was blinded by acid and several people died, including my father. I’ve brought death and destruction since the very beginning.”

"Freezing, but I'm used to the cold weather." She laughed and checked on the baby who was nicely wrapped up and by the fire before walking back to him and putting another blanket around him and snuggling in close to him. "Baby's first Christmas though and she loves the snow. Pretty sure she loves it so much she might have been the reason it's a blizzard now. What can I do to help you warm up a little more? Do you want more blankets? Cocoa? Me?"

Sean was staring out the window, biting his fingernail on his left index finger while his mind ran in circles over and over again after the day he’d had. Running into old “friends” had led him into a near relapse until he came back to the hotel room that he shared with Michelle, avoiding eye contact with her because he didn’t want her to know how tempted he’d been to slip back into old habits. Then he felt her hands on his back until her arms went around his midsection and he felt her head rest against his shirt. “I’m fine Chelle...”
