I've never been a fan of figayda, I can never seem to get behind the canon lesbian ships of DnD shows rip (except imodna hell yeah), but like,,, Fig is 17?? Imagine being bound by all of time and the immortality of your lover to your first relationship in high school. I just,,, it's so much. Also Fig leaving, and breaking up the found family??? I hate it. Anyway, if figayda is your jam, good for you, I just can't vibe with it, pls just scroll past this

so i started my figayda concert wip literally LAST SUMMER as in like august 2022 after going to see a little concert in a bar w some friends and was like. this is such a lovely cool atmosphere. i can make this about fantasy high bc im SICK IN THE HEAD !! it's literally just a modern no magic au where ayda goes to a sig fig's show in a small little bat venue w adaine and ends up meeting and talking to and immediately connecting with fig both during the show and after the fact !!!! it's like. close to being done i think?? i just need to figure out how i want to wrap it up and conclude it and haven't figured that out yet skjbnskfb but here we are xoxoxo

I agree with your FigAyda post. I actually like them as a couple, but I feel like they doubled down way to hard on them because they were popular instead of letting them grow organically. I think it's also a detriment to Ayda as a character too, because they don't have time to show her other important relationships or anything else going on in her life.

I agree! I think for me, it feels a bit like if the dramatic, all-consuming love of a teenage romance had actual magic and time magic added to it which make things a little sticky when it comes to growing and changing.
