Spider-Punk x Black Cat: Punk!Cat Headcanons
Yes, I'm doing this. Every Spider-Man needs his Cat.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
First of all, they'll be the first to tell you they are not dating.
If you ask, they'll both say 'We hate labels'. It's their thing.
If Hobie is the king of all things anti-facist then Felicia is the monarch of rage fueled feminism and anti-capitalism
Hates all things classist, racist and sexist and has a 'k!ll your local rap*st' patch on her battle vest
And her weapon of choice is spiked-out brass knuckle claws
Hobie towers over her (like he does everyone), but Felicia's ten times louder and twice as confrontational. Felicia in any universe talks bold with no filter, and Punk!Cat is that turned up to eleven
Which is probably why she's on vocals in the band
She has a mouth like a sailor and an accent as thick as Hobie's, so mixed with his slang, their conversation are literally British-dipped jibberish
Her style sits on the border of old-school punk and trad goth. She's usually in all black and white, compared to Hobie's red and blue, and sometime her domino mask is swapped out for trad goth style eyeliner
The motives align more than any other Spider-Man, at that makes things a lot easier.
Hobie loves a girl who can do a little direct action, and his anarchist beliefs align more with hers than any other Spider-man.
Though they did have to get over the fact he's an anarchist and she's a communist (she constantly says to him 'i dont believe in private property')
Of course she likes to steal, and she's real good at it
To most Spider-men this would be annoying, but Hobie actually finds it fairly impressive.
She steals things for him constantly, and he keeps every single thing she gives him. Lots of times they turn out to be useful, especially in his builds
Punk!Cat steals shit from museums to return objects back to their native countries and defaces pieces from racist, sexist artists
Steals from banks to handover the money to grass-roots resistance movements
And since Hobie is one of the only Spider-men to hate cops (blue laces people) he's always there to happily protect her from the pigs
She's still herself, but a bit different than most Felicias
Every Felicia is a little 'not normal' about Spider-Man, and Punk!Cat is the same, but approaches it from a different angle
She'll call Hobie a hero only because she know it bugs the day lights out of him
But unlike a LOT of Felicias, Punk!Cat outright hates Spider-Man merch and imagery
She thinks it's incredibly exploitative of Hobie and everything he stands for.
And she hates their totalitarian J.Jonah more than anything because if theres one thing she hates, it's misinformation and propaganda
Although most Fe's love their jewlery like no other, Punk!Cat takes another slight deviation -
Punk!Cat knows that things like diamonds, pearls, and gold has been used as items of oppression for literal centuries. Instead of a taste for items of bougeois lust, Felicia is much more into punk jewlery
She loves everything pinned, spiked, and covered in soda tabs. Her hero uniform is covered in chains, and even her canon 3-claw grappling hook is replaced with a heavy chain and hook she fashioned herself. Scavanged, of course.
She's really close with Gwen and Pavi
Community outreach is everything to a punk, ya'll
Her and Gwen get along immediately. Felicia is never one to be quick to jealousy and she accepts Gwen with open arms.
Gwen turns up to Hobie's universe distraught and homeless.
She teaches her about squatters rights and how her and Hobie keep a roof over their heads, always made sure she had toiletries and someone to talk to, because she knows what it's like to have a strained relationship with your dad
Pavi takes to everyone quickly, but when he and Felicia are together, it gets LOUD
The Spider-Society hates her
And Felicia and Hobie love it
Hobie had no idea how controversial dating Felicia would be. Not for band fans, but for all the other Spider-people
Turns out, Felicias aren't very popular with the Society
The both of them thinks it hilarious
They tell him Spider-people are suppose to be with their MJ's. That's how it's meant to be.
Dating a Felicia or saving a Gwen is an anonmaly waiting to happen.
But neither of them care, and if anything, that only eggs them on. If everyone thinks they're 'bound' to breakup eventually then thats even more reason for them to stick together.
Hobie has absolutely made Felicia her own watch
One which she uses to crash the Spider-Society every now and again
Because of this, Miguel hates her and Jess is just so done with the both of them
Even if Hobie and Peter.B are in no way close, Peter seems to be the only adult in their corner. As a Spider-man that didn't have the most conventional story with his MJ, he's more than supportive of Hobie and his unconventional story with Felicia. He figures if he and MJ can make it work, so can they.
Her and Gwen bond over the awkwardness of being variants of the dead or ex-girlfriend of most of the Spider-society, and how Spider-men see them because of it
And when it's time to take the Society down, she's the first in line (after Hobie, Gwen, and Pavi of course)

People seemed to like my post chronicling the queer history of Felicia Hardy, so I'm going to do something similar to that... Let's chat about the queer history of Marvel's unwitting power couple, Ellie Phimister and her girlfriend Yuki Ohara.
Tumblr media
Let's dive in!
Content Warning: This summary will include discussion of anti-mutant hate crimes and genocide, as that is part of Ellie's comic book story.
Like a lot of queer X-Men stories, this one begins with queercoding in the 80s.
While Jim Shooter famously prohibited any queer storytelling in Marvel Comics during his tenure as Editor-in-Chief of the company and, on top of that, the Comics Code Authority also banned it, Chris Claremont, the architect of the X-Men as we know them today, never really followed those rules - and neither did his editors, artists, and co-writers. There are so many queer-coded relationships throughout his runs on the X-Men and the modern X-Men stories are still playing catch-up to this day, canonizing the intentions of him and his collaborators one character at a time. Mystique and Destiny are probably his most famous pairing nowadays, as that is canon now, but he also wrote the Juggernaut as being with Black Tom Cassidy, Kate Pryde as being bisexual for most women she encounters in her life, and, the topic for today, Storm being in a romantic relationship with the Japanese assassin Yukio.
Tumblr media
Yukio is, to put it mildly, a risk-taker. She runs through life with seemingly no self-preservation instincts whatsoever and, for some reason, always gets by nonetheless. She and Storm have a fling while Storm is in Japan (Uncanny X-Men 172-173) and this leads directly into Storm's famous punk era, which certainly does recontextualize some of the vibes of her having suddenly gotten a mohawk and a taste for leather.
Their later reunion in Uncanny X-Men 311-313 is extra funny to me - both because of the narration textually referring to them as "more then friends" and because of Yukio justifying her daredevil attitude by suggesting it would have been "politically incorrect" of the villain to have attacked them in public.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
These two "kindred spirits" hang out for a bit, but Yukio is ultimately a Wolverine character and not a larger X-Men team member, so they naturally split off as time goes on. Their last appearance together was during the 2014 Death of Wolverine event - though their affair was mentioned by an angry Kitty during the Storm flashback mini earlier this year.
Tumblr media
That said, Yukio is obviously a Sapphic and I guess when the team behind the movie Deadpool 2 decided to give their version of Negasonic Teenage Warhead a girlfriend, they looked at the list of queer-coded characters and decided she was the right one for them...
Now, as for Ellie...
Tumblr media
Eloise Phimister AKA Negasonic Teenage Warhead debuted in Grant Morrison's New X-Men, but her name was not said on-panel until after she was already dead. She was one of Emma Frost's students, a gothic woman with telepathic powers that foretold the death of her and her classmates at Genosha... and yet she died nonetheless.
Tumblr media
This is a very tragic character. She has a silly name, but that is part of the heartbreak of this moment. Ellie is a child who died as a result of a genocidal desire to kill all mutants. Her silly name emphasizes her youth... which makes it REALLY tonally dissonant when it played for comedy from here-on-out.
Tumblr media
She was briefly brought back by the camp gay villain Selene when she revived horrific versions of many deceased mutants as part of X-Force... and then she was revived for real with a new design fter the release of the first Deadpool movie. She maintains her precognitive abilities and future-sight here, but otherwise... Well, she's now a comedy character in a Deadpool book. She also can warp reality now, partially as an explanation for why she looks/acts different then her first appearances.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She paled around with Deadpool for a bit, but didn't do anything explicitly queer in the comics until 2022 (good god) where she kissed an unnamed woman, causing Wolverine to wonder if she'll one day lead a X-Men team that is exclusively made up of her multiple girlfriends. This comment is also a subtle not to the implied status quo of the Krakoa era, where Wolverine himself has two partners - dating both Jean Grey and Scott Summers.
Tumblr media
This is a funny moment, though I do wonder why it took so long for her to be queer in the comics - Marvel comic books are generally the most queer media Marvel puts out, so I do wonder if it was something specifically about her being a Deadpool character that caused people to hesitate to greenlight queer stories about her.
Finally, in 2023, Ellie got her first solo series in the form of an Infinity Comic.
Tumblr media
This series uses the increasingly-popular approach of having "fate" be a stand-in for "the concept of being a loyal adaptation in a multimedia landscape," as she is fated to kiss a girl named Yuki Ohara or else the fabric of reality as we know it will be destroyed.
Tumblr media
While Deadpool is only in it for a bit, it is a very meta narrative, with a lot of commentary on the way that female characters are written in comics in general and female reality-warpers specifically, with Ellie having a lot of anxiety about the risk of her becoming like Jean Grey or Scarlet Witch - not helped by the TVA chasing her down and declaring her a threat. However, in the end, she meets her girlfriend-to-be and pauses time itself to get know her properly before having their universe-saving kiss. Good for them!
Tumblr media
Since then, she has appeared exactly once - in a Pride issue fashion show - but I imagine she and her girlfriend Yuki are just in a little reality-warp bubble, hidden away as Fall of X finishes up.
Tumblr media
Synergy is a dirty word in the comics landscape, but I personally like Ellie and her romance with Yuki - and I'm very relieved that they introduced a new, younger Yuki O. based on the movie for her to date instead of just retconning the established Yukio into becoming Eloise's girlfriend... Storm doesn't deserve to have her girl stolen away like that!
Also, Yuki has a giant mech and electricity powers. Maybe a little cliche for a Japanese character's powerset, but it is badass...
Tumblr media
I hope we see more comic book stuff with these two eventually... There is potential there that is as of yet untapped - especially as they are probably two of Marvel's most notable queers by virtue of being in wildly popular movies, even if their comic queerness is a relatively modern thing.

🖤🗡️Lord Ballister BlackHeart🖤🗡️
Original post from June 2023
HELLO BEES!
It’s 2015, I’ve just walked out of one of my final exams in high school that was worth 50% of my grade, I know I done fucked up. It is raining, the bus was early and I was not, for I am now moving with the sluggish pace, that only a failure can move (for that is what I am). I hide in a Chapters, (it used to be a Chapters, with that superior green and deep red color scheme not that modern indigo shit [this is an indigo anti page]) strolling along the comic/ visual novel section b/c for some reason those used to be cheaper than the other books. This funky lil fucker named Nimona jumps out at me, the name rings in the back of my mind as I recall Felicia Day talking about this book that’s going to come out. You must understand, this was the height of my Supernatural phase in which any actor that was involved in Supernatural was instantly part of my hyper fixation for anywhere from 4 to 25 business days. She played Charlie. And I was a baby queer. So I grabbed this book, a sexy lil 12.99 on the cover. And for the next three weeks I am CONSUMED by Lord Ballister Blackheart, his sunshine-themed boyfriend, and their obnoxious (affectionate) colorful monster baby.
I wanted so badly when I had read this book for more people to be into it, it had only been out for a month or so at the time, and tumblr and Reddit had left my lil nerdy heart empty. BUT NOW THERE’S GONNA BE A NETFLIX ANIMATION! While Netflix has gone and fucked ALOT of adaptations I’m so hopeful for this film ya’ll!
Okay okay I’m done, have some villain daddy with a lil bit angsty gore! The gore is a backstory reference which is really early on in the book but you have been warned!

[Gab Ferrer, Jazmines' daughter] and [Felicia Ferrer, Salaveria’s daughter] also demanded Armed Forces of the Philippines chief of staff General Romeo Brawner Jr., Philippine National Police chief Police General Rommel Francisco Marbil, and National Security Adviser Eduardo Año to surface the activist immediately. During the press conference, lawyer Antonio La Viña, counsel for the Salaveria family, said that “security forces” may be involved in the abduction.
Salaveria and Jazmines, friends and activists, were abducted within five days of each other in August in Tabaco City, Albay. The two, who have long histories of activism, were the 14th and 15th victims of enforced disappearance or desaparecidos under Marcos Jr.
The families of the abducted activists, including their counsels, presented a closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage showing Salaveria’s abduction. The video was discovered after the fact-finding mission of the activists’ family and counsels.
There was no footage of Jazmines’ abduction, but the activists’ camp shared screenshots of “vehicles of interest” spotted in the area where the activist was abducted.
According to Karapatan secretary general Tinay Palabay, witnesses also said that “uniformed [policemen]” later broke into Salaveria’s house at least twice on the day of his abduction. The cops allegedly took away Salaveria’s personal belongings, including cell phones and laptop.
“An operation like this is highly organized and it was done in broad daylight, indicating the brazen character of the crime. The abduction of Jazmines and Salaveria bears these indicators, which are similar to previous cases of such abductions committed by state forces. Several questions remain as the two remain missing, and this includes questions on state actors’ duty to investigate such incidents. So far, no government official has publicly spoken on their abduction,” Palabay said.
RA 10353 [or the Anti-Enforced or Involuntary Disappearance Act] was passed in 2012 to speed up the resolution of enforced disappearance cases. But 11 years since its passage, the law has yet to be fully implemented, and so far, no person has been sanctioned with life imprisonment, which is the law’s maximum punishment.
2024 Sept. 24
Tumblr media
Rappler on Twitter @rapplerdotcom:
Trigger warning: This video contains images that are disturbing. Viewer discretion is advised.
WATCH: Rights group Karapatan shows the CCTV footage of the abduction of activist Felix Salaveria Jr. in Bicol. Salaveria, along with James Jazmines, was abducted in August.

hey, welcome to my weirdo blog
so it's an introductory pinned post - I can't believe I have to write one of these
I am the freakest freak who ever freaked. (antis, you should leave right about now)
(if you don't label yourself as an anti but you keep blogging about me and/or sending me death threats... guess what you are, and please just leave)
I'm mostly into video games, and that's where I thrive, writing NON-CANON stuff.
current brainrots include: Emmrich/Rook (DATV), Lucanis/Rook/Spite (DATV), Emmrich/Lucanis (DATV), Antea/Red (Banishers), Ghassan/Sargon (Prince of Persia), Johnny/Kenshi (MK), Miles/Peter (Insomniac Games, Spider-Man 2017 cartoon, USM), Amicia/Lucas (Plague Tale), Riley/Jacob (Oxenfree), Bode/Cal (SW Jedi series), Aloy/pretty much everyone, yes, even Beta (Horizon series), Hypnos/Zagreus (Hades), Atreus/Heimdall (GoW)
no, I don't know where marin27 is, I'm not her assistant, not her friend, so don't ask me about her, thx.
[MY MILES/PETER FIC MASTER LIST]
MY LONGFICS:
Spider in Distress (Insomniac Spider-Man, Miles/Peter, teeth rotting dumb fluff): the obligatory fake dating fic - next chapter is 0% done (we're experiencing the flood of the century in Central Europe right now, so the chapter is delayed)
projects I'm working on (last updated on September 20th)
in WIP hell (there are words written, I swear they'll see the light of day😭😭😭)
Wild Justice (Insomniac Spider-Man, Miles/Peter, action/adventure, hurt/comfort): identity porn AU, where Miles and Peter don't know each other civilian identities. Set after the MM game, a fake Spider-Man is going around killing people, and it's on the Spider Team to solve the crimes, as the city starts to lose faith in Spidey. (Spider Team includes Felicia, MJ, and Ganke) - 9% done
The Miles/Peter anniversary event fic
brainstorming (aka my brain is a crockpot and I'm cooking)
finally an original novel, f/f rom-com
Empire of the Spider (Insomniac Spider-Man, Miles/Peter, dark, hurt/comfort): Peter doesn't lose the symbiote and starts to make a new world order where criminals are severely punished. Miles has to be there to balance him, trying to get his Peter back, meanwhile, Harry, MJ, and the others try to save NYC from the symbiote and Peter. (While Peter and Miles do get together in this fic, it's DARK as FUCK, exploring an unhealthy kind of love.)
Untitled (Insomniac Spider-Man, Miles/Peter, action/adventure, hurt/comfort): A high school AU where Miles and Peter are the same age, they both become Spider-Man separately, they tentatively work together as Spider-Men but are bitter rivals as civilians. (Inspired by the rivalry between BV and Midtown)
Untitled (Insomniac Spider-Man, Miles/Peter/Harry, action/adventure, hurt/comfort): soulmate AU
Untitled (Insomniac Spider-Man, Miles/Peter, action/adventure, hurt/comfort): Inspired by the recent Spider-Men comics, Peter and Miles get stuck in a mind-control world, where they can live out their deepest desires.
Untitled (Insomniac Spider-Man, Miles/Peter, action/adventure, hurt/comfort): in one universe Peter died, in the other Miles did, due to multiverse shenanigans they meet, and grapple with guilt, overprotectiveness, and feelings.

[IDEA THAT'S NOT YET A PITCH]
Marvel's Damage Control
What is it —
A female-led Marvel action-superhero series that instead of being the type of pandering and obnoxious girl power schlock that we have today, is a throwback to 2000s and early 2010s action cartoons that wipe the floor with modern garbage.
PREMISE:
Heavily implied to be in the same continuity as The Spectacular Spider-Man, Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and Wolverine and the X-Men, a now college student Mary Jane Watson is looking ahead for her future but is currently struggling to keep up with the rest due to certain personal issues in her private life.
Accepting an opportunity that could potentially make her life now easier and even set her future in stone, MJ learns the hard way that sometimes taking what appears to be the easy route isn't always the best option when she discovers it's nothing more than a horrible ruse that lands her into a secret street level conflict between a now solo Susan Storm/Invisible Woman, a now solo Emma Frost, Felicia Hardy/Black Cat, Sable Manfredi/Silver Sable and a now solo Tandy Bowen/Dagger. That is until a series of new threats emerge that affects them all in some way, shape or form and the six of them end up forming an unlikely team whose job is to be a clean-up crew that specialize in dealing with the aftermath of superhero conflicts, rescheduling events because of the conflicts and retrieving lost items. Turns out for Mary Jane, it pays really well.
NOTES/TRIVIA/DETAILS:
• Yes, it will be directly implied to be set in the Yost-Verse continuity. Not only will all the voice actresses — Vanessa Marshall, Erin Torpey, Kari Wahlgren, Tricia Helfer and Nikki Cox — reprise their roles but there will be a definite wink-wink, nudge-nudge to the events of the previous three shows. The idea for it is that several things (in this case, Spectacular, EMH and Wolverine) happened, they all of a sudden went dormant but now BOOM! it's back and the shadows here are moving again, everything is moving under the goddamn sun and you pick it up from there.
• The Damage Control team will be a more than unconventional team that come into conflict over different things with the big ones being Black Cat and Silver Sable aren't afraid to get their hands dirty since they're basically villains-turned-anti-heroes while Mary Jane's personal life plays a role in the events for the team. However, it's at the end of the day that it's revealed they're an incredibly effective and capable team that get the damn job done.
• One thing that will be played for humor and help define and establish the tone of it where it's more on a somewhat grounded level is that the team, much to her dismay, decide to live together in Mary Jane's apartment where she shares the same bed as Sue and Sable who ultimately act as caring mother figures to her.
• Another thing that will differentiate it from others is that the six leads will actually have their bumbling and screw-up boobish moments (a la Elastigirl checking herself out in the mirror, Kim Possible accidentally landing into the arms of a Bebe and then being thrown etc.) to show that despite being "strong, female characters" they are far from perfect but it makes sense in context because Mary Jane is just starting out as a superhero, Susan, Emma and Cloak are just starting as solo heroes and Black Cat and Sable are just starting out as anti-heroes so they're all bound to screw up when they're in action.
• Now this is just for fun but there will be a few easter eggs, references and flat-out and direct cameos either to or from other non-superhero media that establishes a retroactive shared universe. I mean hey if fucking Ultimate Spider-Man can do it with Jessie, thus having it be part of the Disney Channel Universe officially than why can't I with this. For example, Sable finds herself stuck in an elevator with a certain eccentric black woman who turns out to be security after having worked at the infamous C.U.R.E. Institute — it's motherfucking Denise Hemphill from Scream Queens with Niecy Nash reprising her role.

¥ Felicia stealing Khonshu's tomb and he gets her in the act 🗣️
She'd been told, time and time again, that picking a fight with divinity was not a very good idea. 'Mercurial', that's how the Gods were described. Mercurial beings that would lay a blessing at your feet in the morning, but curse your entire lineage before dinner. Ancient entities with too much power and far too little time spent learning manners. Attracting their attention, for good or for bad, was a fast path to suffering because they held grudges like no one else.
Tumblr media
The row of cloth-wrapped, pitch soaked torches was a very good touch. Pulling one from its sconce and setting it ablaze over her head gave her just the Lara Croft feel she was going for! On the far end of an ancient temple (or was that... a tomb?), armed with only her wits, her mitts (two sets of very sharp claws), and a very reliable tip given to her by one heavily inebriated soul at the Midnight Mission, Felicia was making the loudest decision of her week: Picking a fight with a God.
And what a dirty fighter God was.
Crescent-curved blades were launched at her from hidden slats in ornately decorated, crimson-splashed walls that she had to pounce and prance around.
Storms of arrows flit through cobweb-coated rivets looking to perforate her.
Gouts of flame rose through hair-trigger pressure grates at her feet needing to immolate her.
Even the walls of the temple were closing in around her, compelled by an absentee landlord to turn HER into a lovely crimson splash adorning the walls! She hadn't had a workout this intensive since robbing Fury* all those moons ago.
[*Read Issue #7 - Sifr. ]
❝ You'd think they didn't want people to get down here, or something... Were you this anti-social back in your day? ❞
Can you blame her for taking a few seconds to catch her breath between traps? She may be the greatest thief alive, but even legends needed some moments in-between moments... and if the golden statue of a man with an owl-skeleton for a head minded her taking this moment, then he sure wasn't speaking up about it.
❝ Tell you what, bud. ❞ A groan of effort as Felicia lifted off of the floor, stretched and swayed to loosen up some. ❝ I can tell I'm crowding your space... so I'm just gonna get my things and go. ❞ Social grace didn't abandon her, even in a golden treasure horde of a hidden chamber. Oh, and what a horde it was.
Surrounded by gold idols, figureheads, weapons, trinkets, talismans... canopic jars? (who's organs were THOSE?), she'd danced her way all the way into God's secret little hidey-hole! She could've started hauling this stuff topside by the barrel load, but that wasn't her goal. Course it wasn't. If she wanted just riches, she could've saved herself a flight from New York to Cairo.
She wanted something very specific, something that even old Owl-Head himself wasn't supposed to have. Bast's Diadem. A funky little crown, marked with the sigils of life & death, and hidden away from the feline goddess for centuries, maybe millennia! What the Owl's beef with the Panther was, Felicia was sure she didn't care.
All she cared about, in this moment, was carefully being lifted from the dusty bust she'd found it on. It felt warm in her hands, like a gem that'd been sitting in the sun, smooth to the touch and heavy. A lot heavier than she'd expected... as i- as if someone were pressing down on it - !
"HAS CURIOSITY CEASED ITS RELENTLESS CAMPAIGN AGAINST CATS IN THIS ERA, GIRL?"
OHWHA-! Felicia pivoted on her heels so quickly, the dust she kicked up didn't move until she had already settled again. Staring, with an only lightly masked concern, as the large, owl-esque statue of a deity canted its head down toward her... and spoke again.
Tumblr media
"THAT. DOES NOT BELONG TO YOU. RETURN IT, AND YOUR DEATH WILL BE WITHOUT SUFFERING."
... ... ...
To say that the thief was - a bit - caught off guard? Well, it wouldn't be too inaccurate. She really only allows herself a moment to gawk, wide-eyed. A single moment to catch her breath...
❝ It doesn't belong to you either, sir! In fact, I think Mother Bast would be VERY interested to hear just why it is one of her favorites is riding the Duat instead of getting her tiara out of here. ❞
If - If that play worked, she can't tell. Owl skulls are notorious for not having readable expressions. The statue sits there for a spell. Silent, immobile, watching without watching. Felicia stands her ground. Diadem in hand, heart padam padaming something vibrant against her ribcage, but confidence on her features.
She's not going to die here. In a tomb? Killed by Moon Knight's patron? It would absolutely not be the end of her sto - !
"LYING TO A GOD HAS CONSEQUENCES, FELICIA HARDY. CONSEQUENCES YOU HAVE ELECTED TO SUFFER."
Tumblr media
I - ugh. Tremors at her feet, the very room around her had been warbling steadily since old owl-head wke up, but now? Now it was rattling. Shaking itself loose, as if it were about to... crumble. Fuck.
❝ Okay, well... I can see that there's no talking to you about this. ❞ Time to go. Time to go! Stuffing that diadem in her go-bag, scooping up a gold coin, as a memento, the thief was RACING toward the exit - Or... well, she was about to be.
❝ Hey! ❞ Atop a large set of stairs, she paused. Turning back toward the statue, she crouched a bit so she could make eye-contact with the thing actively trying to murder her.
Tumblr media
❝ Hey! Tell Marc & Stephen & Jake, that I said 'Thanks for the tip!' before you send them! ❞ And she laughed as she fell backwards down a rapidly crumbing hallway, narrowly avoiding a crescent-shaped blade of energy hurled at her head.
Sure, she'd been told, time and time again, that picking a fight with divinity was not a good idea. They held grudges like nobody's business and they always came to collect.
Luckily! She had a philosophy of her own she so enjoyed whipping out:
Don't miss heaven by two inches. If you're gonna piss a God off, give it your all and make them remember you!

As a ftp who never really got enough mitama coins in ranked for the special memoria (and always impatiently spending them on tickets while thinking itd be better next time whoops) do you have a recommendation which special memoria to grab from the shop?
The Yachiyo one is probably the biggest damage increase, but it requires blast of course. There are limited memoria in the game now that outperform it, but it's a solid choice and imo it might still be the best choice.
The Sana one is the best provoke memoria in the game. That depends on how often you use passive provoke memoria though.
The Felicia one was personally my favorite as it has a very high amount of passive atk and it's secondary effect (skill seal) can prove useful when it goes off. Loved that thing when I used it.
-
Tsuruno's has 25% attack up which keeps it in line with other modern memos, and it also gives evade. Until the licorice collab, it was the best memoria that gave passive evade. I think it's less useful these days 'cause so many units in mirrors have passive anti-evade baked into their SE, but still
Iroha and Ui's are... eh. I'm sure that some folks might find them useful but personally I've never used either.
Rabi gives blast up and status ailment resistance. Pass.
Himena's is interesting in that it buffs the entire party with a small amount of attack up and defense up. Possibly useful if you want to equip it on a support to buff everyone? The only problem is that attack up is pretty easy these days to cap on. It also has a relatively high cooldown at 9 turns.

The two memo over-limiters are very good and possibly better to use than any of the memoria from the shop, depending on what you have.

Short Bio
Felicia Sara Hardy was born to wealthy old money socialite Lydia Hardy and Walter Hardy. dubbed as a “travelling salesman”, they were like every other affluent family on the upper east side until she turned thirteen and her father was discovered to be a world-renowned thief and con-artist. Attending Empire State University after graduating, Felicia had the world in the palm of her hand as a privileged woman. That was until she was raped by her boyfriend at the time Ryan. Humiliated and angry, Felicia began to train herself to kill the person who hurt her. However, luck would not be on her side again as Ryan died in a drunk driving accident. That night, she stole her first diamond. She made her own Black Cat costume and broke her father out of prison after his appeal to be at home while he was dying was rejected. Walter passed soon after. Seeking direction, Felicia sought out and was trained by the Black Fox, aiming to be like her father if not better. Seeing other supers, Felicia wanted to literally steal powers and struck a bargain with Kingpin, who put her through a series of experiments that altered her DNA and gave her the powers she has today. Having a much more upgraded costume with her new funds, Felicia by day is a socialite who parties and shows up to almost every event and the Black Cat was thorn to heroes and villains, cracking the most guarded safes in the world.
