Let's go back to debanking Snaters
The other day, guess where? Exactly tiktok the trend "men with whom I would or would not feel safe in a room" went viral now among the various characters of the editor there was Sirius Black and I commented like this:
my personal opinion obviously and someone asked me why, unfortunately I had to write little since tiktok gives little space for comments
and out of nowhere this person comes
Why can't people not blame the victim and try to turn the tables?
Did I just say that I wouldn't feel safe with Sirius, is it still a free country where I can express my opinion without insults? Plus how ridiculous is it to tell someone they've never read the books when I just reported canon facts from the books? Really?
Was Snape worse in the books? Well, we could talk about that, Snape in the books is certainly worse than the Snape in the movies, we all agree on that, but if the comparison is between Snape and the Marauders then it's laughable. In the canon, who has Snape ever stripped? Who has he ever knocked to the ground multiple times, who has he ever suffocated? Oh yeah.
Also, what does fanfiction have to do with it? I've never mentioned it, in fact I responded to others who said they read ATYD by saying that it didn't count because it wasn't canonical -.-
And then the genius of the moment arrives:
Oh sure and why did they fall? Oh yeah because James made it happen. Stop blaming the victims, you scare me.
Plus James clearly says he intended to take Snape's underwear off and thus actively undress him, it's not like it happened by accident.
There was another flash of light, and Snape was once again hanging upside down in the air.“Who wants to see me take off Snivelly’s pants?”
And again, Snape is attacked and the blame falls on him because he created the spell? I've already talked about this some time ago but evidently some people don't think. Neutral magic is not good or bad, it's a tool. Like a knife can be used to cut tomatoes or to hurt someone.
If the person who invented it is hurt with it, what are you going to say to him? "Hey Bob, you invented the knife, it's your fault if someone used it to hurt you"
Are you serious people? Have you drunk strange potions? O.o
Will this ridiculous story ever end?
Pantsing IS SA if it's done with the intent to view ones bottom or genitals then that IS s**ual abuse, perhaps harassment.

Did you realize that this scene comes exactly after Harry purposely invaded Snpe's privacy by spying on the memories he had hidden in the pensieve? Exactly after Harry saw him bullied and assaulted, exposed and humiliated?
Oh if you like to put it that way I can do it too? I'm really sick of double standards.
Let's see how Minerva mistreats her students:
She humiliates Neville
and what does he decide to do next?
He forces him to sleep outside with a mad murderer who wanders around the castle. Cute and loving Minerva, right?
But what do you think about the punishments he gives? Of course Snape is much worse when after Harry almost killed Draco he makes him tidy up Filch's folders, while at 11 years old students, Minerva to punish 4 kids who went out at night sends them into the FORBIDDEN forest to look for a possible unicorn killer, accompanied by a person without a wand.
But yeah I guess Snape is actually worse. Remember when he let a student get slammed to the ground until he screamed in pain, after being transfigured into a ferret? And then he let that student get dragged away by the same person who bullied him? Oh no, that was Minerva.
Well you're right, he's really terrible because he lets a student's pet risk getting hurt during a lesson, not caring that the student has a broken wand with which he badly transfigures his pet. Oh look, once again this isn't Snape but McGonagall
But at least it's true that Snape humiliated Hermione so much that he wouldn't let her out of the common room for days after he took away so many points, and made Harry a real pariah in his own house. Oh no, once again this was McGonnagall
I could go on but I think I've made myself clear enough. I'm not saying Snape was a nice person, he wasn't, but if you call him a bully you have to use the same judgment for McGonagall, stop being so hypocritical and using double standards.
reminder that this is how severus snape treated his students

Some groups in the Harry Potter fandom really get some of their most common used terms wrong.
For example:
Slander: the action or crime of making a false spoken statement damaging to a person's reputation. (Just a friendly reminder to everyone doing their #snapeslander, that with that hashtag you are admitting everything you say is false.)
Villain: Snape (and I would also say Dumbledore) is an Anti Hero not a Villain. He may be cruel and sometimes uses villainous methods but in the overall story he has good intentions, very similar to the one of the main character/hero and gave his live to achive them. Actually James Potter is more arrogant, cruel and selfish when he bullies Snape (and other students) just because he can and harasses Lily just to get her to date him. He might have done some heroic things as part of the order but him sneeking out while he was in hiding and therefor risking not only his but also his wifes and sons life was still very selfish and arrogant.
Here you have a comparison of the two terms:
I just wonder if that is pure ignorance or if they are really that dumb.

JAMES WAS NOT A VIGILANTE
I think Marauders Stan will never understand this point (or probably don't want to understand)
James was a bully in canon, whatever "good deeds" he did for his friends doesn't erase his guilt.
Oh yeah Voldemort is a racist mass murderer but hey, he comforted Ginny when she was 11 so he wasn't a bad guy. (Obviously I'm exaggerating but you get the idea)
Also stop, really stop making James and Sirius look like vigilantes who picked on those who supported Voldemort, first of all because it's not true, they bullied people out of boredom. They started picking on Severus when he was 11, already on the train, when they didn't know him yet, they started calling him Snivellus, they tripped him up before they knew him.
Bertram Aubery wasn't a future Death Eater, they swelled his head with an illegal spell.
If they really wanted to take on the future Death Eaters out of a twisted sense of justice they should have attacked people like Malfoy, Mulciber or Avery, instead the two cowards only took it out on the weakest (real Gryffindors)
But then even if it were true AND it is NOT, let's pretend, then you want to tell me that you justify bullying if the victim is a bad person? So it goes based on the bully, you can mistreat, attack, try to kill and SA someone because they are not a good person? This mentality is scary and dangerous. Grow up
